A/N: :D I finished! And my chapters might be a bit longer now since I'll have more time to write. (I had my swim championships today, all 9ish hours of it. . . :( )

Disclaimer: I do not own~

Edward was sitting in between the wall and Bushy, who was, in actuality, Hermione.

He had already changed into his dress, "Robes, Edward," Eron and Hermione had corrected.

Percy was sleeping, Danny was close to it, and Artemis was reading his eighth book.

To his left Eron and Hermione were discussing books they had bought.

Danny's head nodded to the left, he jerked himself awake, hitting his head against the back of the chair.

Eron looked at her watch; it was designed to work at Hogwarts and other magical places.

"Wve should be thdere soon," she told them.

Danny silently thanked whatever was out there.

Ed stared out the window; it was already evening, the sky was a beautiful orange.

A few minutes later the train began to slow down.

"Mr. Jackson," Eron said, trying to wake the sleeping teen.

Percy blinked a few times before yawning, by then the train had completely stopped.

They all left the compartment; Danny and Percy shuffling a bit behind the rest.

They exited the train, pouring into the large crowd, somehow they managed to stick together, though.

Hagrid towered over the heads of the students calling, "Firs' years! firs' years, o'er here!"

Artemis gave the group a formal farewell before somehow avoiding touching anyone while navigating his way to Hagrid.

Hermione waved goodbye, heading for the carriages, while Edward and the sleepy duo spotted McGonagall, who was waving them over.

"Hello, boys," she said once they reached her. "Follow me."

She lead them to a carriages, then motioned for them to get in.

Danny all but stumbled into it.

Ed stared at the two almost skeletal horses pulling the coach. He could tell by their faces that Danny and Percy could see them as well.

"Mr. Elric," McGonagall said.

He shook himself out of it, and hopped into the coach.

Artemis was less annoyed than he thought he'd be; he had a full boat even.

There was himself, naturally, Ginny Weasley, who he had already been introduced to, Luna Lovegood, a rather. . . interesting girl, and Alfred Williams, a shy boy who enjoyed reading.

They hadn't bothered him much, in fact, Artemis considered Luna quite amusing.

The castle was rather impressive; one had to admire the architecture.

Alfred was wide-eyed, as if his dreams had come true.

There was a light 'thump' as the boats reached shore.

One by one everyone trickled into the group gathered around Hagrid.

He knocked on a door; the person who answered was Professor Mcgonagall.

"Follow me," she said.

They followed her through the door into a large room.

Hermione spotted Percy, Danny, and Ed sit down in chairs set up in the corner of the great hall.

McGonagall pushed open the doors and walked in, a stream of first-years flowing in behind her.

She gave them a signal to stop, then continued to the head table.

She took out a scroll of names.

"When I say your name, come here and sit on this stool," she told them.

"Aland, Anama," she called.

A short blond girl scurried up to the seat next to McGonagall.

The professor picked up the Sorting Hat, which was placed on a table next to her, and placed it on Anama's head.

It took a second for the Hat to decide, but it ultimately decided, "Ravenclaw!"

Anama took off the hat and power-walked over to the Ravenclaw table, where she was greeted by Eron and a few others.

"Braned, Jamie" went to Slytherin, while "Carlton, Zina" went to Hufflepuff.

Finally Artemis was called up.

He calmly walked up to the stool, showing no emotion.

The Hat took less than a second to decide. "Slytherin!"

The was silence from those that knew his and Harry's familial relationship.

As Artemis serenely walked over to his new table, "Fox, Alex" was called.

Artemis sat next to a platinum blond boy who Artemis could already tell would be highly irritating.

The boy turned to Artemis, his nose turned up a bit.

"Hello, I'm Draco Malfoy," the boy said with a pompous tone.

"Artemis Fowl the Second, pleasure to meet you."

Draco froze, his father had told him about the Fowls; they were one of the most irritating families in the wizarding world. "If there was wealth, the Fowls are there," Lucius Malfoy had said for many years.

Artemis mentally smirked, enjoying Draco's uncomfortableness.

"Hart, Jessica" was another Hufflepuff.

Hermione looked at Artemis, trying to remember where she had heard the name Fowl before.

"Lovegood, Luna," McGonagall called.

The daydreamy girl with odd glasses walked up to the stool.

The Hat sat for a second, contemplating where Luna should go.

"Ravenclaw!" it cried.

Luna hopped off the stool and sat down next to Eron.

Ed watched the tables; Ravenclaw looked like they were overjoyed for any new members while the Gryffindors were just over enthusiastic even though they had the most people joining them.

After a while and lots of people, Hermione heard this, "Weasley, Ginevra."

Ginny was shy, nervously walking towards the stool.

When the Hat was placed on her head she gave a small gasp.

The Hat however took no time deciding where to put her.

"Gryffindor!"

The twins jumped up and started cheering while their older brother Percy W just smiled wide and clapped.

After a few more people, such as "Wera, Sara", Alfred was called.

The Hat sat deep in thought.

Alfred went to Ravenclaw.

About ten more people were sorted, including "Xerxs, Yukio" and "Zygmont, Ben."

"Settle down students, this year we have three older students joining us," McGonagall announced.

"Elric, Edward." Ed stiffly walked up, sore from sitting in his chair for so long.

He plopped down on the stool.

"Hmmm, how interesting." Ed jumped at the Hat's voice in his head.

"You would do well in any although your rash and violent nature may not mix well with Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Better put you in. . ."

"Gryffindor!" Ed stumbled off towards his table, too shocked about what had happened.

"Fenton, Danny."

Once seated the professor placed the tattered Hat on his head.

"Hello, Danny. One of the elder Artemis' sons, I see." Danny froze, this thing could read his mind? What if it found out about his. . .condition.

"Don't worry, young halfa." Danny felt faint. "I keep many secrets. Though I'd be worried about the ghosts if I were you, they aren't known for their ability to keep secrets. Though with all your heroics, there is only one place you fit in. . ."

"Gryffindor!"

Danny gave a sigh of relief, and rushed over to sit next to Edward.

"Jackson, Perseus." Percy winced at the use of his full name.

"A demigod, huh." Percy started, scared by the voice and the fact the Hat knew what he was.

"I just sorted one of your kind, though he didn't know it." Percy's eyes widened, there was another demigod in the school?
"Back on subject I believe the best place for you is. . ."

"Gryffindor!"

A/N: Yes, cliffhanger- kinda. Well please review and follow.

Matt: Ed, Eron, and the rest of the Amestrians have accents because even if it doesn't sound like you have an accent to youm it does to someone else. And if you'll notice, I did not use accents while they're all speaking Amestrian, only when one is speaking English. P.S. I hope you're enjoying this story.

If you guess at least two of these correctly then you get a cookie and a shoutout in the next chapter: Why is Alfred William's name a reference? Why can Percy see the Thestrals?(two reasons, but you can answer with one) Why can Danny see the Thestrals?(Three reasons, same as before) Why can Ed see Thestrals?(Three, same as before) Why has Hermione heard of the Fowls? And Finally, who do you think the demigod is?
