A/N: Well turns out that I'm not going to the tournament cause we didn't have the money to go, and I'm not gonna lie, I was terrified of going, so I hope I didn't disappoint you guys. Anyway I'll get this chapter started right now.
The next day, after retrieving the Chaos Emerald, we find Aura and Max sparring with each other. Each of them clashing with great speed and force. "Not bad Max" Aura said "You haven't been slowing down since we started" Max chuckled and kept fighting. Aura shot an Aura Sphere at Max, but dodged it in time and countered with a telekinetic grab. Aura was locked in Max's telekinetic grip and had no way of freeing himself. "I'm done for aren't I?" Aura asked "Yeah" Max said and threw Aura as hard as he could reaching the Everfree forest with Max following him. Aura landed in a patch of blue flowers and dusted himself off and looked at the flowers he landed on. "These are some weird looking flowers" He said and bolted out of the forest only to be met up with Max. "So how was your trip?" Aura chuckled "Shut up, next time we fight... I'm going to win" Max chuckled "One can only get stronger"
"So what are going to do now?" Max asked "I don't know" Rage then showed up panting "Am...I...Late...For the...Fight?" he asked "Sorry Rage, but you just missed it. Maybe next time" Aura said, putting his hand on his shoulder. "Bummer, well I should get going. Later guys" Rage said and head back to Ponyville. "We should get going too" Max said and they returned back to the town.
Ponyville: Twilight's Library
Hours have passed and it was almost nighttime. Everyone were at Twilight's having a good time playing truth or dare, except for Shadow who was leaning against the wall. "Come on Shadow, just join in, its fun" Sonic said "Like I'm going to play a stupid game with all of you" Sonic and the rest smiled at him
10 minutes later
"I can't believe I agreed to this" Shadow said "Your fault for letting your pride take over" Max said and Shadow growled "It's really simple Shadow, all you have to do is spin the bottle and whoever it lands on you give them a dare or ask them a question, but nothing sexual or that might kill them and if you refuse, then we'll force them to accept" Shadow had a pop up vein on his head "I know how the game goes Sonic!" he shouted "Alright just don't go crazy" Sonic said and Shadow just rolled his eyes "Who's turn is it" Rage grabbed the bottle "It's my turn" he said and started spinning the bottle. It kept spinning until it started slowing down and stopped, pointing at Sonic. "Alright Sonic, Truth or Dare?" Sonic gave him a smirk "Dare"
Rage smiled deviously "Okay, I dare you to kiss Rainbow on the lips... in front of Amy" Sonic's eyes widen "Wait, in front of Amy" Sonic looked at Amy who had blazing fire in her eyes, but luckily she was held back by Knuckles, Unknown, and Aura. "LET ME GO!" Amy yelled. Sonic and Rainbow leaned closely together and locked their lips in a kiss. Amy was blindingly enraged "I'M GONNA KILL YOU RAGE!" Rage just laughed at her getting her more angrier. After at least 10 seconds they broke the kiss. Sonic and Rainbow stared at each other in the eyes, blushing. Sonic cleared his throat "I think we should get back to the game" Rainbow had a hard time saying a word after they kissed and she just sat back down.
"Alright Sonic your turn" Rage said and Sonic started to spin the bottle. The bottle had stopped on Aura. "Truth or Dare Aura?" he had thoughts and finally decided "Dare" he said "Okay I dare you to uh..." Sonic had a hard time thinking of a dare until an idea popped up in his head "I dare you to stand outside under a rain cloud" Aura sighed and went outside. Sonic whispered something in Rainbow's ear and she chuckled. Rainbow got a cloud and started jumping on it, pouring down rain on Aura and soaking him wet. Aura had his arms crossed ignoring the rain, but Rainbow bucked the cloud, sending a lightning bolt and striking Aura dead on. Rainbow went back inside followed by Aura who was covered in black smoke. Everyone couldn't help but laugh.
He continued playing and spinned the bottle until it landed on Shadow "Alright Shadow, Truth or Dare" he said "Truth" Shadow replied. Aura grinned "Okay. Do you like Princess Luna?" Shadow blushed "What kind of question is that? Of course I don't" Aura chuckled "That's not what your aura said" Shadow looked at him with confusion "My aura?..." It took Shadow a moment to realize "I hate you" Aura only chuckled a bit "I get that a lot. Now answer the question" Shadow sighed "Yes... I like Luna" Aura smiled "That's all I wanted to know" Shadow got up and grabbed the bottle and threw it outside "Well I guess this game is over" Twilight said "So see you guys tomorrow" she said and Tails, Amy, and Fluttershy went back to her cottage. Rage, Knuckles, and Rarity went back to her boutique. Unknown and Pinkie Pie had gone back to Sugar Cube Corner. Sonic and Rainbow went back to her cloud home. Aura and Applejack returned to the farm. Shadow and Max stayed in Twilight's Library. They all had a good night sleep.
Sweet Apple Acres
The next morning, Aura woke up and stretched. He stood up, but to him the room was bigger and looked around "Why is everything so big?" Aura realized that he was the one that shrunk. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" He screamed at the top of his lungs, but since he was tiny it sounded like a squeaky pitched voice. He turned into his Guardian form and flew into Applejack's room, he landed near her ear. "Applejack, wake up" she swatted him away thinking that he was a bug. Aura's eye twitched "WAKE UP!" He yelled with his hand flaring up into an aural blade and dive bombed her on the flank. Her eyes shot open and yelled in pain. "OWW! What in tarnation bit me?!" Aura flew right in front of her face and landed on her nose. "We have a problem"
Twilight's Library
"Well what happened to him Twi'?" Applejack asked "He must have come across a patch of Poison Joke" She said examining him from a magnifying glass. "What's Poison Joke?" Tails asked. "Poison Joke is a plant that, oddly enough, plays practical jokes on anyone who comes across it, they're found in the Everfree forest" she said "That one might be my fault. You see I threw him to the Everfree when we were sparring" Max said and Aura remembered the sparring match "Are the Poison Joke blue colored flowers?" he asked "Yes, and luckily we know somepony who can help you"
They went outside and made their way to the Everfree forest, but were stopped by a hooded figure. "Excuse us, but we're in a hurry" the mysterious pony didn't move "Oh you are in a hurry... a hurry to meet your end!" She said taking off her hood "Trixie?!" Twilight said "You know her?" Sonic asked "Yeah she's a unicorn who likes to show off" She said "The Great and Powerful Trixie is not a show off, Trixie is the most powerful unicorn in all of Equestria!" Aura didn't have time for this confrontation and flew up to Trixie's face. "Listen, we don't have time for this okay. I need help to regain my normal size" Trixie smirked "How cute, a small hedgehog that wants to be a big hedgehog" She laughed making a pop up vein appear on Aura's head "DONT CALL ME CUTE!"
He started blasting her with everything he had, but they had no affect as she yawned and made a jar appear and stuffed him inside and sealed the lid. "Keep that rude hedgehog in there" Twilight grabbed the jar with her magic "Why are you here Trixie?" She gave Twilight a death glare "Trixie wants revenge for embarrassing her the night the ursa minor attacked ponyville" Twilight sighed "Trixie, the only reason you were embarrassed was because of your lies." Trixie stomped her hooves "Trixie challenges you to a magic duel! Then we shall see who was lying" Twilight hesitated "I... accept your challenge Trixie"
Battle Field (well imaginary battle field)
"Ready? Draw" Trixie levitated a cart with apple barrels and threw it towards some innocent civilians "Look out!" Sonic cried and carried them away at a blinding speed, Twilight caught it with her magic and safely put it down. "Snips! Snails!" Trixie called and two young fillies one was an yellow-orange unicorn with a green mane and a cutie mark of a snail and a turquoise unicorn with an orange mane and a scissor cutie mark trotted in front of Trixie "Yes oh Great and Powerful Trixie?" Tails leaned close to Rainbow Dash "Who are they?" he asked "Just some Trixie fans" Trixie began levitating them and a red light started to consume them and Snips was a baby and Snail was now an old pony "What? An age spell? Only the highest level of unicorns to do an age spell"
"What's the matter Twilight? Can't do a simple age spell?" Twilight's horn glowed and started levitating Snips and Snails. She put everything she, but she couldn't hold out much longer and dropped them. "Trixie is the highest level unicorn! Now its time for your exile from Ponyville" Twilight's friends had stood in Trixie's way "That's enough Trixie!" Applejack said "You've proven your point" Rarity added "Twilight isn't going anywhere!" Sonic said "But she's already gone and with the help of this gem I will be unstoppable" Trixie said revealing the Cyan Chaos Emerald and levitated Twilight and made her land outside of the town "Twilight!" Sonic ran as fast he could while also carrying the jar Aura was in and made it before Trixie could seal the town in a barrier.
The Mane 6 couldn't make it before the barrier closed "Don't worry I'm going to find out what's going on with Trixie" she said and ran into the Everfree forest "Max! Keep the ponies safe in Twilight's library" Aura said and Max gave him a thumbs up "You got it pal" Sonic caught up with Twilight "So where we going?" He asked "We're gonna go to Zecora's hut" Sonic picked up Twilight and blasted off until he came across a hut "This the place?" Twilight nodded and they knocked on her door. They were soon greet by a zebra with gold bracelets around her neck and her right front hoof.
(Okay I don't know how to rhyme so I'm just gonna have her talk normal-ish... Deal with it)
"Ah, Miss Twilight Sparkle how good it is to see you again" she greeted "And who may these strange creatures be?" Zecora asked "I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog" he said doing his signature thumbs up pose. "This little fella here is Aura" he introduce "Nice to meet you and... did you just call me "little fella"?" Aura said "It is a pleasure to meet Twilight's new friends. How may I be of help" she asked "Well, you wouldn't happen to have a cure for Poison Joke do you?" Aura asked "You are correct my red spiky friend, come with me" They entered her hut and Sonic looked around seeing nothing but potions, artifacts, and charms "Here get in this cup" Sonic opened the jar and let Aura out and he entered the cup filled with the cure. Pretty soon he broke the cup and was back to his normal size. "Thank you. You must have many experiences with herbs and healing remedies" Zecora smiled "Yes, I need many plants for different potions and the Everfree forest is a good place to look for them" Twilight interrupted them "Sorry to bother you Zecora, but we need your help"
After explaining the situation to Zecora she agreed to help, but there was a knocking at the door and it turned out to be Fluttershy. "Fluttershy?! How did you escape?" Twilight asked "Twilight, we don't have time for questions" Fluttershy explained about Trixie's "power." "The Alicorn Amulet?!" Twilight shouted "Yes" Fluttershy replied "I can't believe I didn't recognize it before" Aura grabbed the book and examined it "That must have been the source of Trixie's corruption" Aura closed the book and put it back in Fluttershy's satchel "But she is the only who can take it off" Fluttershy said. "She's proven that the power of one can't beat her, but what about the power of all" Sonic added. When Sonic said that Twilight immediately got an idea.
Ponyville Barrier
Aura turned into his Guardian formed and shot towards the barrier with all the speed he had and use it to give him a little bit of strength. "AURA FORCE!" With all his strength he shattered the barrier. Trixie teleported and found Aura "What have you done to Trixie's barrier?!" She asked "I shattered it... and you really need to stop talking in the third person" She charged her horn and pointed it at him "Trixie!" she looked to see Twilight and Sonic. "Nice job breaking the barrier" Sonic said "Thanks"
"Trixie I challenge you to a rematch" Twilight declared "Why? So the Great and Powerful Trixie can defeat you again?" Twilight smiled "I have a new charm that is more powerful than your Alicorn Amulet. Its from Zecora's homeland and if you don't want to have that rematch you will never see it's power" Trixie started to shake "Alright, you've changed Trixie's mind. I accept"
"Lets start with an age spell. Snips! Snails! the two fillies came up to her and she changed them to old ponies and changed them back to their original age. "Rarity and Applejack, can you guys help me out?" They nervously trotted in front of her. Twilight changed Rarity and Applejack into young fillies. "That's not all" Twilight charged her horn and changed Applejack into a stallion which surprised Trixie. "What?" Trixie said in shock "If you like that, then you'll love this" She charged her horn again and fired a spell at Sonic, but nothing happened until another Sonic came out. "Woah. Looking good buddy" Sonic said "Right back at ya" the Sonic duplicate replied. "You see Trixie with this charm I'm more powerful than you" Trixie's jealousy got the best of her and took Twilight's charm and replaced the Alicorn amulet.
Without hesitation Rainbow swooped in and snatched it from her. "Hey!... No matter, I don't need it now that I have this and this gem!" Trixie shot a spell at Rainbow only to make her laugh. "What? you shouldn't be laughing you should be in pain" Sonic then ran and took the Chaos Emerald from Trixie "No! I need that" Twilight chuckled "Trixie that charm is just Zecora's door knocker and that emerald is not for you to keep" Trixie just stood there baffled at what happened. "How did you do all those spells?" she asked "Not spells, illusions" She explained "take a look for yourself" The Sonic duplicate turned out to be Unknown who went back to his alicorn form "I love a good prank" Big Mac, Sweetie Belle, and Applebloom washed the paint off them
"Trixie the Alicorn Amulet corrupts the user" Trixie nodded "Trixi- I'm sorry for causing so much trouble" Twilight smiled "Its okay, I forgive you" With that Trixie left Ponyville "Well its good to be normal size" Aura said "By the way Aura" Applejack said and slammed her hoof on his head. "OW!" he said holding his head in pain. "next time think before you sting sompony on the flank" she said " Well how else was I supposed to wake you up" he said and they all laughed.
