PREVIOUSLY ON HANDYMAN:

"Great. Just great. I'm staying behind while you guys leave me for college. Wow. You must really love me" Alison teased.

"Oh don't be so dramatic Ali. We won't be far away. I'll be in Hollis, Spencer's an hour away in Philly and Hanna's just a train ride to New York." Aria retorted and Alison rolled her eyes with a laugh

"Oh but someone right here would be miles away in Stanford" The three girls kept giggling but Hanna stopped, wondering who's going where.

"Hold up. Stanford?" Now all of them halted. Emily removed her hand on Hanna's torso as Hanna tried to look at her, Emily avoided her gaze. "Emmy?"

-Hanna's POV-

Emily didn't say anything and ducked her head instead. I glanced back at the girls who was trying to avoid looking at either.

"Han do you still have that red top you wore before? I'm gonna go check it up stairs" Aria excused herself which of course I know was just a lie.

"Oh and I think I might need to borrow some shorts from you too. My pants are bit comfortable right now, feels like it's on fire" Ali followed more like ran towards Aria after her funny joke. I looked at Spencer who still figuring out her excuse. Wow! Spencer Hastings is wordless. This is a milestone.

"Oh look its Toby" Spencer's phone luckily lit up. She followed the two other girls upstairs. When it was finally just me and Emily I moved away from her so I could sit on where Alison sat.

"Emily?" I called her attention but she wouldn't dare look me in the eye. "Hey" I spoke to her softly

"I didn't know how to tell you" was all she said

"Just simply tell me the truth. I won't get mad I promise" She grabbed my hand and got held it tight between both of her palms.

"When you were away I received an acceptance letter from Stanford. They're giving me a full ride and they expect me to be in therapy for my freshman year and in varsity for the next years until I graduate. When I thought we wouldn't get back together I didn't see a reason why I had to tell you and then things change and we got back together…I…I didn't have the heart to tell you" The whole time Emily was explaining herself she never let go of my hand. In fact she was holding it tighter and tighter.

"Why? I would have loved you the same Em. I'm even proud of you. Nothing could change my mind in being with you" I didn't want to take my hand away from hers because she might get the wrong impression.

"Because I was scared you'd leave me. I just got you back and I don't want you to pull away again. You'll be in New York living up your dream and I'll be in Stanford leaving mine. Stanford's almost 3,000 miles away and 3,000 miles is too far" Tears started to fell from her eyes and I hated it. I never wanted to see her cry.

"I know. We'll be at both ends of the country, so what? Our love can reach farther than that. We could be at both ends of the world but our love will be remain stronger than ever. I don't care if we're apart as long as I know how much you love me. I trust Em. The only thing I care about is that you should've told me. We promised to be honest to each other remember?" I used my free hand to wipe away her tears. No angel should be in tears.

"I love you so much Hanna Marin. I'm sorry I know should've told you. It's just that when Paige and I talked about this before, it...it didn't turn out this way. I just didn't wanna lose you" I leaned in to press my lips on hers hoping that would be enough to assure her she's not gonna lose me.

"Never. You'd have to kill me first so you could get away from me. You get it? We're gonna make this work, together." I leaned in again to seal my vow to her.

-Alison's POV-

"I'm such a cluts. Do you think we messed them up?" I worriedly asked Spencer and Aria who were also eavesdropping like me. We couldn't see Emily and Hanna and we could only faintly hear what they're saying.

"You slipped not me. You messed them up." Spencer said defensively. Ugh! Typical Spencer.

"I don't know. Their silence is scary we can barely hear what they're saying" Aria on the other hand was very focused on listening.

"They're not screaming at each other so that's a good sign" Spencer was being positive with the current situation

"That's even worrisome. It's the calm before the storm. Do you think they broke up and they're both just sobbing?" and what good would it be if the other half of team Sparia wouldn't be the negative one.

"Could you both shut up? It's even harder to hear with you two talking" I told them but they both shushed me. If I were the old Alison I would've snapped at them, but I'm not. When we didn't hear anything at all from the love birds we decided to go check on them. Hanna had Emily on her arms crying. I never thought Emily would be the small spoon because when I imagined Emily and me I always have seen her being the bigger spoon.

"Ssshhh it's gonna be okay you guys" Aria sat on the arm of the loveseat and comforted Emily.

"Oh we're okay. She's just crying because she could already imagine the money we would spend on our tickets and her up to the sky phone bill. Right Em?" Hanna was surprisingly and extremely calm. She wasn't even crying.

"Yeah and not to mention the lonely nights on my dorm room where there could be a big possibility that I would have a smoking hot roommate who I'm not allowed to be go out with" They were a crack up job. Emily's tears have subsided and she was now laughing at what she said.

"Emily Fields!" Hanna shoved her lightly and gave her an offended look. At the end of the night we just laughed at it. I guess it's safe to say these two would be spending a long long time together.

-Hanna's POV-

It's only a week away from prom and I haven't got the chance yet to ask Emily to come with me. I asked the girls to help me setup the perfect prom proposal and with the perfect combination of brains, art, and elegance they had given me the most ideal prom proposal for me.

Emily was due to come home today from her University tour at Stanford. She was away for 3 long days and I missed her a lot. I can't wait to be in her arms again and kiss her so hard. We were currently at the grille waiting for her. She called about an hour ago informing us that she's on her way and she's just going to drop off her luggage at home before meeting us here. I couldn't wait.

My head flipped swiftly when I heard the bells of the door open only to find that it was that old man who kept looking at us. I sighed disappointedly.

"Miss me?" I looked to my other side and there was my sunshine standing with a bright smile.

"You just don't know" I stood up and gave her the tightest hug I could give and she didn't disappoint me when she captured my lips with hers.

"Em! We missed you. And who's this you're with?" I didn't notice someone was with her if Aria did not mention it. Oops! My bad.

"This is Zoe. She was my superior at the rebuilding thing in Haiti I joined before. Zoe these are my friends Alison, Spencer and Aria…and this girl right here is Hanna, my girlfriend." She rested her hand by my waist and kissed the side of my head. I love it when she tells others that I'm her girlfriend.

"Pleasure to meet you. Emily had told me so much about you guys" she shook everyone's hand "Especially you Hanna. She can't just stop talking about you. While we were on the plane she was all Hanna this Hanna that Han-" Emily covered her mouth before she could continue. I felt a slight pang of jealousy with how close they seem to be.

"Okay that's enough Zoe. They didn't have to know that." Zoe stuck her tongue out at Emily which made me raise my eyebrow. Alison didn't miss the expression on my face. She was holding her giggles to herself.

"Anyways I just came here to see all of you. I need to be somewhere else now. It's nice to see you" Zoe bid us all goodbye. Apparently she and Emily had the same flight back and Emily wanted to introduce as to her. I shook off the slight jealousy I felt and just enjoyed the rest of my late lunch with my loved one.

We were making out on my bed since we arrived from the grille. After eating we went on our separate ways but promised to meet each other for dessert later after dinner. I missed Emily a lot and I want to show her just how much. It was exactly what Emily had wanted too. Her hands were roaming everywhere and she was straddling me. Her breath was warm and so were her kisses yet I was shivering each time her lips would touch my skin. She traced my jawline with her kisses and nibbled on the skin of my neck. I help but moan at the pleasure it brought me. Emily was making me warm inside and out. Soon enough my top was discarded somewhere in my room along with hers. I didn't see where Emily exactly threw it. Her warm hands came in contact with my bare torso and it brought to me an unexplainable feeling of want and need. Before it could lead to the point of no turning back I slowly pushed her away by her shoulder.

"Wait" she looked up to me and her chocolate brown eyes has grown few shades darker.

"Don't you want this? Am I scaring you?" Her voice was low and raspy. It was turning me on even more.

"No. No. I want this" with that she went on kissing me again on my lips but I stopped her once more "But don't you think we should wait?"

"I missed you Han…" She kissed me softly and briefly on my lips before she turned her attention on my neck "…and being away from you…" she moved away from the spot she was focused on to another spot on my neck "…is agonizing" she kissed me fully on the lips and I couldn't resist anymore. I flipped our positions and she was now lying on her back with me on top of her.

"I know babe. Trust me I know" she pulled me back roughly telling me to just shut up and kiss her. "Will you go to the prom with me?" I pulled back and the words just slipped smoothly from my mouth. I didn't mean to ask her that way. I had the perfect plan thanks to the girls but I ruined it all in a spur of the moment.

"Of course! Even if you didn't ask me I would come with you" she pressed our foreheads together and rubbed our noses "I love you"

"I love you too Emily Fields" I kissed her once more before getting off her and sitting on the edge of it to check my phone. She whined like a child and pulled me by my waist.

"Hanna" My back was pressed in front of her. I loved our position. I loved the warmth of her.

"After prom night I promise." I turned to face her and tell her that. She pouted and it was the cutest pout ever. I really wouldn't have resisted that but I had to. "I want our first to be very special. One we will never forget"

"Okay" she said still pouting. I pecked her pout away and as expected she gave me a smile she only has for me.

"Besides, we need to shower…SEPARATELY. We'll eat dinner after that then we'll meet the girls for dessert" I had to put emphasis on the word separately. This was the time I wished I shouldn't be controlling myself to give in to her.

"We were starting to think you'd stood us up" Spencer said as we sat down on the remaining seats at their table. We were late because Emily was so stubborn about the shower thing.

"Sorry we're late" I told them but Emily just smiled at them making me shake my head.

"Is something going on between you two?" Spencer asked innocent as ever. Aria looked back and forth at Emily and me before whispering something to Alison and Spencer; after which they started laughing.

"What's so funny?" Emily asked in quite an irritated tone. She's clearly not happy she didn't get in the shower with me.

"Is someone frustrated in the S department?" Alison pointed out in her typical tone. Emily looked flushed and her cheeks burned red. She was such a prude in front of others.

"Ali can you come with me to the rest room? Now." I had to drag Ali away from the laughing duo. She too was laughing and I had a poker face on but broke down laughing when we got inside the rest room.

"That was a good one Ali. Have you seen how red Emily is?" We high fived each other. I know I'm such a good girlfriend. When I finally got myself back on composure I spoke up "So uhm I brought because I kind of messed up" Ali raised her eyebrow and put her serious face on "We were making out and Emily was so into it and it was so heated and out of nowhere I just asked her to prom"

"What? Oh my God" Ali burst out laughing again. "That's a record! But you know you shouldn't really ask your girl to prom when you're about to do the thing." She continued laughing

"I know. She might be thinking I just asked her because I wanted to get into her pants" I bit my lip worried that Emily might be thinking that way

"Relax Han. Everything's ready for your proposal or atleast the planned one. We'll do it tomorrow okay?" She rehearsed to me again our plan and when I was fully satisfied with it we went back to where the girls were.

"How are you feeling Han?" I was on the phone with Spencer just waiting for the time that I would be picking Emily up for school.

"What answer do you want to hear? I'm freaking out. I'm terrified, nervous, I could almost piss in my pants now. I'm going to ask her in front of everyone in Rosewood High Spence!" I could almost hear Spencer's giggles on the phone. How dare she laugh at me?! "Spencer Jill Hastings!"

"Everything's going to be fine Hanna. She already said yes all you have to do is to ask her again. It's not like she's going to change her mind. You can do this." You can do this Hanna. I said goodbye to Spencer and drove off to pick up Emily. I told her I wanted to go to school together. She didn't know something big was already waiting for her.

I interlocked our hands as we made our way towards the school's entrance. When we got inside everyone we passed by were singing synchronically to Christina Perri's 'Be My Forever' song. They weren't really grouped together or something. They were just doing their normal morning routine stuff. Some were just leaning on to the walls. Some were just standing. I guided Emily towards the school auditorium. She was given 6 stems of roses along the way. She was just smiling all throughout our walk. She laughed so hard when we passed by the lockers. On every locker door was a letter and if you read it as a whole it says 'I love you'. 3 more roses were given to her when we were close to the auditorium. Much more shock was brought to her when she entered. Strips of confetti were falling down from the top. She was just shaking her head and biting her lip. On the stage of the auditorium hanged a banner that says 'Will you go to the prom with me?'. Aria, Alison, Mona and Caleb lead everyone in singing 'Be My Forever' inside the auditorium. We stopped walking at the center of the auditorium and with sudden boost of confidence from all her happiness I asked her

"So, Miss Emily Fields, what do you say?" she smiled from ear to ear casually laughing and shaking her head like she couldn't believe what was happening

"I said it already and I'm saying it again. YES! YES! YES! I'll be your prom date Hanna Marin." She cupped my cheeks with both hands and kissed me sweetly. It only lasted for a few seconds but it felt like forever. "I'll be your forever" she whispered. Fresh batch of confetti dropped. Someone then approached me and gave me the last 3 flowers for Emily. I gave it to her before hugging her so close. And in that moment I never could ask for more.
