I wrote this story very quickly so please excuse grammar errors. With Spiderman 2 just making its way to theaters, I wanted to make a chapter with something to do with it.

Enjoy!

Stiles Stilinski always dreamed about how his first kiss with Lydia Martin would happen.

They'd be at the lake, sitting by the water and watching the stars. Stiles would say something witty or charming and Lydia would laugh. Eventually, he would pluck up the courage to lean in and Lydia would blush before their lips finally collided in an explosion of passion.

Obviously, they would both see stars.

But here's the thing about the real world, dreams don't happen. Plans don't go perfectly and people don't always connect in that special way.

Until they sorta do….

"Stiles, I'm going to kill you." Lydia growled angrily as she followed Stiles down a dark, dirt path in the woods.

Stiles let out a heavy sigh and smiled at her. "Lyds, I told you we're not lost. And it's not raining that bad either." He said calmly, shaking out his soaking wet hair. Tonight was supposed to be perfect. It was supposed to be the best first date ever.

Except, it wasn't. Everything that could possibly go wrong, went wrong.

Lydia rolled her eyes in response. "We've been out here for two hours and we're still no closer to finding your car! Admit it Stiles, were lost. And it's cold and it's raining and I'm officially pissed off." She complained, peering viciously over at Stiles.

She should have never agreed to this stupid shindig when Stiles offered. Why oh why couldn't Stiles just take her to the movies like a normal person? Why did he insists on taking her to some hidden lake in the middle of nowhere?

"Actually, looking back, I probably should have been more concerned about this." Lydia thought to herself.

"Here, if you're cold take this." Stiles replied as he awkwardly shrugged out of his coat and handed it to Lydia. "You good now?" He asked, raising his eyebrows at her.

Lydia glared at him as she took the coat. This was all Stiles fault. If he hadn't been so damn cute, she would have never agreed to his quirky idea.

She was better than this really. Most of the time she didn't let her crushes fog her judgment but somehow she let this one slip.

"I should have known our first date would go something like this." Lydia said spitefully, almost losing her footing down a sudden steep, slippery drop. This would have so much easier if she hadn't worn heels.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Stiles scoffed. "We were having fun until we got lost." He continued in his defense.

"Boy, if you didn't have the cutest butt, I would strangle you right now." Lydia thought to herself, choosing to ignore Stiles' comment and instead admire her almost boyfriend's perfectly shaped behind.

"Hey, look at that." Stiles suddenly said, gesturing to a tree with two names carved into it. "See, we are close to civilization."

Lydia stopped herself to read the names and smiled. "H + E = forever."

"That's so cute." Lydia sighed. If she was honest with herself, she would admit that she was a complete sucker for romantic gestures. It was actually part of the reason she liked Stiles so much. Everything little thing he did made her feel special, made her feel loved. Frustratingly enough, Stiles was slowly immersing himself fully into her life and she loved it.

"Hey, I think I hear a few cars!" Stiles said excitedly, mentally patting himself on the back.

"Maybe I shouldn't be so hard on him." Lydia thought sincerely.

"Lyds, do you have your cellphone? I can't see a thing." Stiles rambled on from behind the tree. He was oblivious to Lydia's inner battle with herself.

"I mean, I did have fun with him…Hell, maybe this is something worth looking into."

"WAHHH!" Stiles screamed.

"Stiles?" Lydia yelled, quickly running over to him. "Oh my god!" She screeched in shock as she took in the scene in front of her.

"I think I need some help." Stiles muttered to her as he hung helplessly upside down by his feet from a tree.

Lydia covered her mouth as she tried and failed to stifle a laugh. "Oh my god Stiles! How did this happen?!" She said in-between giggles.

Stiles frowned, his cheeks turning bright red. "It was dark and I couldn't see the tripwire! Stop laughing and help me please."

Lydia bit her lip and nodded, taking a step towards Stiles. "You know, you're kinda cute when you're upside down." She grinned, taking notice of his wispy hair and pink lips. She softly cradled his face in her warm hands and gazed into his beautiful chestnut brown eyes.

Stiles swallowed nervously. "Yeah, I'm your personal Spiderman." He whispered.

"Of course you are." Lydia grinned. "And I'll be your Mary Jane." She joked as she slowly tilted his head down towards her. Lydia's heart skipped when she heard Stiles' breath hitch.

When she brought her mouth to his, it wasn't a deep and sensual kiss. It was long and sweet and new. Stiles groaned slightly when Lydia flicked her talented tongue out and slowly forced Stiles' mouth open.

It was cliché to say that the kiss was perfect but goddammit it was. It was the perfect mix of sweet and sexy.

Looking back, it made sense that their kiss wasn't normal. After all, they weren't a normal couple who got to go on normal dates and live normal lives.

They were Stiles and Lydia. The human and the banshee. They fought off annoying teachers by day and mythical creatures at night.

They would never have the ordinary relationship and that's okay because both Lydia and Stiles didn't want ordinary relationships.

They wanted passion and love. They wanted something extraordinary.

And this, whatever it was between them, was extraordinary.

I know it's short but I tried! Can anyone guess what couple I was referring to when I talked about the initials on the tree? Hint- the show is the same genre as Teen Wolf!
