I Think I Like You

After what had happened with Hanamiya, the boys were wary of leaving the phantom alone. Rarely anyone left his side, until eventually; they needed to go to school. Even then, they were super overprotective, the neighbor often coming and he being called when the others were on break, the line would fail because sometimes they all called at the same time. Kise and Midorima were the most worried, wondering if he had called the Kirisaki Daichi captain already, so far, they had managed to keep their mouth shut.

And so one day, after being kissed in the forehead goodbye, Kuroko was alone with only Nigou to take care of him. He walked to the room and grabbed his cellphone, then a piece of paper. Hanamiya Makoto was neatly written on it, under the name a set of numbers. He gulped, and began pressing the numbers.

Hanamiya had gotten better; the hits only small bruises now, the rest of the team seemingly better as well. He was still having breakfast when he heard his cell phone ring in his pocket, he clicked his tongue and answered, not noticing the number.

"Hello?" he answered.

"Is this Hanamiya-kun?" the pair of honey eyes widened, did he hear right? Was that really… "Hanamiya-kun?"

"Tetsuya,"

It was okay if he skipped a day or two or many, he was after all very smart and had no trouble catching up with any of his studies, his parents were almost never home and didn't really mind what he did or not, they treasured him and protected him dearly. He got away with a lot of stuff.

He had taken the uniform off and changed into something more casual, as he walked to the park the small blunette had called him to. He arrived and sat on a bench, there was barely anyone there, if not, no one at all. The place was small and serene, covered by a canopy of trees, a big toy for children which most likely came later in the day. For now, it was just lonely. He leaned back on the bench, he still couldn't believe he had been called by the powdered blue haired teen, and he had sounded so… calm, composed, so like him. He snickered, wondering what the small boy he had taken advantage of was planning.

"Hanamiya-kun, thank you for coming," Hanamiya looked up to the sound of the soft voice. His eyes softened at the smaller figure, if he was fragile before, now he was even more, his hair had grown since the last time he had seen him, giving him a more feminine look. His eyes trailed down from his face to where the belly was showing he was rather big, six months right? Hanamiya stood up; walking towards the blunette and grabbing his hand, helping him sit down. Kuroko let himself be helped, his feet were killing him.

"You look well," Hanamiya began, looking at anything but the small boy. Kuroko's hand rested on his belly.

"Thank you," was al he said, the raven haired teen then looked back down. He didn't know what to do, say sorry? He was probably going to get slapped across the face or elbowed easily, it was after all the passing specialist's forte. "Why?"

"Why?" Hanamiya repeated almost dumbly. Looking at Kuroko with wide eyes, which then settled down and looked away, he chuckled. "I wonder, why would I have done that?"

"I don't know," Kuroko responded. Hanamiya ran his fingers through his hair, a thing that usually calmed him down.

"I love you," Kuroko was silent, looking down at the ground, Hanamiya did not notice the way his eyes widened, and how tears began to well up on the sides of his eyes. "I wanted to break you, make you cry for your team but… you slowly wormed yourself into me. You have a thing Tetsuya, you make people want you, crave for you," Kuroko looked away, not once meeting the other boy's sight.

"But if you love someone, you don't try to destroy them like you did," his voice was low, soft like a feather, barely hitting him. "What about now? Maybe then you only like my looks and such, now what's there to love? I'm a weirdo, a pregnant teenage boy, a shame to my family who are now dead, do you still love me now?" a pair of cold fingers grabbed his chin and turned him over to reveal the widened, tear filled blue orbs to the captain.

"I still love you," Hanamiya whispered against his quivering lip, he then brought him close, embracing him, his head rested on the smaller male's hair. "You loved Kagami, there was no way for me to enter, you were loyal to your team, looking at me like the evil person they write me up to be. Yet you were nice, even accepting those small outings I invited you to when that red-headed idiot wasn't around. But you never tried, you never tried to see me as someone else, I wanted you to say my name the same way you would speak his, talk about me the way you spoke about him… I was jealous, I wanted you for myself, and yet, I acted late, you're with him now, you're happy right? To finally be with the one you love?"

"Hanamiya-kun… I-" Kuroko's tears were already falling, the raven haired captain closed his eyes.

"Come with me, please, I want to be with you, with our child,"

"This doesn't sound like you," was all Kuroko said.

"I'm showing you something no one else can see, I'm showing you my heart, only my teammates know the real me, and I want to show you that same person, I want to show you how Hanamiya Makoto is, Tetsuya,"

"I don't know," Kuroko knew Hanamiya was speaking the truth, the relationship he held with his teammates did not seem like one of a leader and its subordinates, it truly was once of a close friendship. If there was anyone who knew the rave haired captain best was his team, following him to the maximum heights.

"Can I feel it?" Hanamiya asked.

"Huh?" Kuroko asked, Hanamiya pointed at his belly. "Oh, yeah sure," Hanamiya leaned down until he was at an eye level with Kuroko's belly. His hand touching the soft clothed belly, Kuroko paid attention to his every move.

"Is it a boy or girl?" Hanamiya asked, stroking the belly lovingly, his eyes soft as he moved on about.

"It's a boy," Hanamiya smiled to himself. Resting his hand a little below the belly button, their eyes both widened when they felt a kick.

"He kicked," Kuroko nodded, it was strange, the baby usually only kicked when Kuroko was doing nothing, scared, or stroking his belly, never had he felt it kick to one of the other boy's touches, so why now? To Hanamiya?

"Hanamiya-kun, I don't know how to be a father, mother, or whatever I'm going to be…" Kuroko began, looking up at Hanamiya.

"I don't know neither," Hanamiya confessed. It was strange, this seemed more like a conversation between a teenage couple is a pinch rather than a rapist talking to the victim at the moment. "I'm sorry," it was silent, Kuroko just barely heard the apology that had been directed at him.

"Hanamiya-kun-" Kuroko began.

"No, listen, I did a horrible thing, you have every right to stick me in jail. Fuck, I even got you pregnant. And here you are, talking to me as if nothing almost, I would be happier if you had just said you hated me, slapped me, anything, I don't understand you." The next thing was unexpected, small hands got a hold of his shirt's collar and pulled him down, meeting the smaller boy's eyes. They were filled with tears, he didn't know what emotion ran through those eyes anymore.

"Hanamiya-kun, I can't bring myself to hate you because… you were there when Kagami-kun wasn't, you were there all the time, I could see you watching from afar… maybe it would've been best to fall in love with you," Kuroko was trembling. "Hanamiya-kun, I was scared to know who the rapist was, and was actually relieved to know it was you… Hanamiya-kun, I think then and now, even after all this… I think I like you…"

EHHH?

Conscious: Oi, you Fabi, what the hell is this? You saying Kuroko was actually liking thick eyebrows?

I… I think so?

Conscious: RnR everyone, what do you think of the new confession? Like? Hate? I am confused, so many mixed feelings right now…
