He had to admit he didn't like the idea of his daughter and the Russian at the beginning, heck, she was still only a child and he was seven years her senior! But when he saw his little girl smiling up at Belikov and he remembered the way Janie used to smile at him, his worries seemed to be dulled, dulled but not gone.
