Naruto the Homunculus

Chapter 14.

Thanks to all of you that have stuck with this story. Now, I'd like to say, the last chapter of Naruto was AWESOME!

So Naruto and Sasuke had one last battle and became friends and rivals once again! And Sasuke finally responded to Sakura's feelings and they got together! I knew Ino would go with Sai and Shikamaru would go with Temari, and I was rooting for NaruHina from day one! Well, now comes the rein of the Seventh Hokage: The Hero of the Wave, the Child of Prophecy, the number one hyperactive knicklehead orange ninja: NARUTO UZUMAKI-Datebayo!

So thanks for sticking with my story. I'll try to keep as close to canon as possible with the new timeline.

After the match, Naruto had headed home to grab a change of clothes, as his fight with Gaara had resulted in his clothes being in tatters. His skin may have been able to regenerate, but that powerful blast that Gaara hit him with had all but shredded his clothes, leaving him with just enough to protect his dignity. He used his shapeshifting abilities to transform into a bird, so he could get home quickly and grab a change of clothes.

Naruto then walked towards Team Guy's usual training ground to see if he could get some help with his Taijutsu training from Guy for his next match. He made sure to switch off his Ultimate Eye, just in case Guy and Lee were doing their Sunset of Youth technique again. Fortunately for him, when he arrived, he found Guy and Lee in the middle of a training session, and not in the middle of their mentally scarring embrace.

"Guy-sensei!" said Naruto, "Lee! Tenten!"

"Oh, hi Naruto," said Tenten with a light blush.

"Hello Naruto," said Lee, "I am sorry that I wasn't able to see the outcome of your match."

"It's alright," said Naruto, "things got a bit dangerous, so it was better that you left."

"What happened?" asked Tenten, "He turned into some kind of monster."

"It's kind of hard to explain," said Naruto, "but anyway, I was hoping that I could train with you guys for the next part of the exams."

"I am sorry, Naruto," said Lee, "but because we may become opponents, I would rather my skills and training remain secret."

"I understand," said Naruto, "I'll try to find someone else then."

"If it's all the same," said Tenten, "I'd like to come with you. I'd like to see those swords of yours up close and I can help you train with them."

"Um, alright," said Naruto, "I don't see why not."

"Great," said Tenten.

"Alright then," said Guy, "let's continue your training!"

"Yes Guy-sensei!" said Lee.

"Lee!"

"Guy-sensei!"

"LEE!"

"GUY-SENSEI!"

That was Naruto and Tenten's cue to get the hell out of there to avoid being caught in the Sunset of Youth.

"So do you have any idea who could train you?" asked Tenten.

"Well," said Naruto, "I'm not really sure. I'm hoping to work on my Kenjutsu skills a bit more actually as well as my Taijutsu."

As Naruto was walking, he wasn't watching where he was going and ended up walking into someone in the street.

"Sorry," said Naruto as he looked up.

The person he had run into was a woman wearing a black shirt and black shorts with with long purple hair and dark brown eyes. She glanced at Naruto and Tenten and gave a small smile.

"It's alright," said the woman, "but where are you headed in such a hurry?"

"Oh," said Naruto, "I'm looking for someone who could train me in Taijutsu and Kenjutsu for the next round of the Chunin Exams."

"What about your Ninjutsu?" asked the woman.

"Well," said Naruto, "I can't use Ninjutsu, so all I have to rely on what I do have."

"Hmm," said the woman, "if you want to learn a bit about Taijutsu and Kenjutsu, then I could teach you a thing of two."

"That would be awesome!" said Naruto, "Oh, can my friend train with us?"

"Are you talking about the girl behind you?" asked the woman.

"Yeah," said Naruto with a smile, "this is Tenten. She and her teammate helped me train to fight in the preliminaries. I was hoping that she could train with us. She's great with weapons."

"I don't see a problem with that," said the woman, "meet me at Training Ground 22 in an hour."

"Thanks," said Naruto.

"By the way," said Tenten, "what's your name miss?"

"My name is Yūgao Uzuki," said the Woman.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze," said Naruto, "the Hidden Leaf's Alchemist Ninja!"

"What's an alchemist?" asked Tenten.

"Alchemy," said Naruto, "is the science of deconstructing and reconstructing matter. It follows the law of Equivalent Exchange that states that, in order to create something, something of equal value must be sacrificed."

"Since when were you so smart?" asked Tenten.

"When it comes to Alchemy, I'm a genius," said Naruto with pride.

"Your ego is quite big as well," said Tenten dryly.

"Well then," said Yūgao, "I will see you two in an hour."

Yūgao then used a Body Flicker Jutsu to leave, leaving the two Genin alone.

"Seriously," said Tenten, "how did you learn so much about Alchemy?"

"I just gained the knowledge when I gained the ability," said Naruto, "lets go."

They began to walk until Naruto stopped abruptly.

"By the way," said Naruto, "where is Training Ground 22?"

Tenten face-faulted at that, "You're telling me that you have no idea where to go?"

"Nope!" said Naruto with a smile.

"I'm following an idiot," groaned Tenten, "well, I know where it is, so follow me."

"Great," said Naruto, getting a sigh from Tenten.

When Naruto and Tenten arrived at Training Ground 22, which was a large grassy field with several boulders scattered around. Standing in the middle of the field was Yūgao wearing a sleeveless Chunin outfit with a katana on her back.

"Glad to see you made it," said Yūgao as she drew her katana, "first of all, what kind of background do you have in terms of Kenjutsu?"

"Well, I've studied and trained in using all sorts of weapons, including swords," said Tenten.

"That's good," said Yūgao, "what about you Naruto?"

"I know a two-sword style that helped me fight Zabuza and win," said Naruto.

"How did you learn it so fast?" asked Tenten, "And where did you learn it from?"

"I learned it along with my Alchemy," said Naruto, "and it's a clan secret now."

"Then perhaps you two could spar to compare forms?" asked Yūgao as she handed them several wooden practice swords.

Naruto took two and got into a stance that Yūgao had never seen before, while Tenten got into a standard Kenjutsu stance.

'What an unusual stance,' she thought before beginning the match.

Naruto rushed at Tenten with his two swords and attacked her repeatedly. His training blades were a blur as he moved fluidly through attacks. Tenten was able to hold him off by using her skills and training, but she was forced on the defensive.

"That is enough," said Yūgao, "you both seem to have great experience with weapons. You also said you wanted to work on your Taijutsu as well."

"Yeah," said Naruto, "I was working with Guy-sensei and his students to learn an actual Taijutsu style as opposed to the freeform that I've been using."

"So you don't know any Taijutsu styles or forms?" asked Yūgao.

"I was never taught," said Naruto.

"Well then," said Yūgao, "I think I know what we can work on. For the next month.
