Danny Phantom, Kim Possible, Harry Potter, Teen Titans, Total Drama Series, 6Teen, Final Fantasy X, I think that's all that I can recall at the moment. NO SLASH. Im also picky on my pairings. well except Harry Potter im quite chill with that, NO FUCKIN GINNY THOUGH, just saying. but if you want to help me and want more specifics on what im looking for PM me, or put the question on the review. whichever. "Harry, are you sure you should go?" The gruff voice behind him asked.

Sigh. "For the hundredth or more time, yes."

"Why? because your friends are there, because your wife is there, because it's your homeland?...Why can't you just stay and wait for the enemy to come here, wouldn't that be easier?"

"Because it's the right thing to do." With no other words he walked out the door.

White. Thats the first thing that registered in Harry's mind. He saw movement but all he could process was white. Then slowly, as though his mind was slowly waking up, he realized the white was an object. The object was called a sheet. It was surrounding him.

Grogginess was not fading, if anything it was getting worse again. He tried moving but nothing would respond. he tried moving his head but it wouldn't move from the angel it was in. Where was he? What was he doing here? The better question, who was he?

He heard movement, the sheets moved and revealed a white and tan blur. It moved his head. He thinks he seeing the ceiling now. The color was….brown.

The blur moved another part of his body, his mouth? He hears the blur talking but nothing was being understood. Something was being poured into his mouth. He does something involuntary, the action is called swallowing, yes swallowing is the right word. The blur leaves.

….

….

….

"My name is Harry Potter" in mere seconds all the memories flood back. He groans loudly from the headache that penetrates to the center of his head. The blur which he now knows is a medi-witch comes up and speaks. "Mr. Potter do you hear me?"

"I can understand you too" he said is a horse tone.

Within minutes of that short conversation he was being manhandled by quite a few medi-witches. He says manhandled instead of cared for because he believed that the amount of potions and wand prodding was unnecessary and cruel.

He fell asleep shortly after the last potion.

Waking up again Harry's first priority was to see if he could move.

Sitting up proved that he could. He knew who he was and how he got here so that was a plus. Looking through the blurry room he spotted the nightstand. Fiddling with the top of it his fingers grazed against a piece of what felt like thin metal. Knowing that it was his glasses he grabbed them and put them on.

Finally being able to see Harry looked around. He was in a simple small bed, which he assumed was for patients, and was surrounded by a white sheet. The roof and the area above the sheet he could see was made of wood, he was probably in a makeshift medical wing that was for the champions. They must have found him passed out on the stairs.

He tried to shout for someone but when he tried to make a noise his throat burned painfully. Thinking it unwise but with no other course of action to choose from, he moved his legs to the bed and got up. Again he realized this was an unwise decision. The second he put his weight on his feet he plummeted to the ground not only in severe pain but he realized he was actually starting to bleed.

The loud thud, crash, and yelp of pain must have been enough because not long he heard steps and the woosh of the moving sheet. "Oh merlin" she whispered. "We need two medi-witches now. Inform Healer Pomfrey that Mr. Potter is awake as well." She shouted behind her as she helped Harry into his bed. When he was told to stay in bed he didn't argue.

With the two medi-witches appearing the other woman leaves, feeling bad that he couldn't say thank you all he could do was move his head in a manner that spoke gratitude. With more wand poking he was just thankful no potions was being fed to him, his worries went out the window when he saw Madam Pomfrey appear. 'I know she loves to shove potions down my throat but please just not this once'. His prayers were answered, how rare.

She shooed them out when she came close and using her own wand poked him. After a few minutes she comes back with a glass. "Drink Mr. Potter, im sure your throat must be bothering you". He dutifully drank it slowly while she sat back down.

Finishing the glass of water in awkward silence he tested his throat for a minute before actually talking. Making a few sounds he found that it wasn't as painful, some was still there but it was manageable at least. Starting off slowly he began to talk.

"Hello Madam Pomfrey, How long have I been out?"

"Today is the twenty-ninth of November, you've been out for five days"

"Five days!" he accidentally shouted then winces. He starts again but in a calmer tone "How could I have been out for five days? I wasn't injured, just exhausted."

Pomfrey looked shocked, "Mr. Potter you were more than just exhausted. You had several lacerations across your arms and chest, twelve fractures, three broken bones, and frostbite over fifth of your body with nearly the rest in hypothermia." Harry gulped and instinctively moved his body, at least till he felt terrible pains. "Don't worry Mr. Potter you're all there I assure you. Youll have some severe scarring in some places but considering it was that or loss of a body part i'm to assume you're happy with the arrangements". He nodded enthusiastically.

"Good, not all your wounds are fully healed up, as you realized when you woke up and foolishly tried to get out of bed. I kept telling them to have someone watch over you since I know you've always had the habit of trying to get out of the hospital wing early" She ended with a playful glare. "As im sure you want to leave you can't, actually you are being sent to Saint Mungo's now".

"Why? Im sure you could take great care of me in the hospital wing." At first he thought she wasn't going to give a response but as she closed the sheets more and added what he thought to be a silencing ward she answered.

"Officially you're going so you can get 'better' treatment and get on your feet faster. Unofficially one of my colleagues in the hospital is going to check you out thoroughly, along with Ms. Granger too though she isn't aware of it yet. You might not know or remember but awhile back something had happened to Ms. Granger and you brought it to my attention. It looks like it happened again because she refuses to come see me for a check up". Harry was confused and it must have shown.

"It seems you really don't remember, another thing to tell my colleague to look for. For now Mr. Potter be safe and trust me. Things will make sense soon."

"I'll always trust you Madam Pomfrey, i've never doubted you. Even if I ran from your potions"

With a small smile she left, and no sooner Harry was being prepared to go to Saint Mungo's.

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Saint Mungo's First floor, November 30

The first floor, Creature induced injures. Harry remembered this floor from when he came to visit Arthur Weasley that time he got bit by Negini.

Being a patient here sucked, there was nothing to do and he constantly heard cursing or screaming from somewhere. Maybe this was why Dudley hated to go to the doctors whenever he got sick or hurt his hand after punching something (or someone). After a day he was ready to leave, too bad he couldn't.

The only good grace was that he was told some friends were coming to visit. After that he was going to get his official/unofficial check-up. Harry was a little worried about that. Whatever it was must be bad for Madam Pomfrey to stick her neck out for him. He wanted answers, 'and what could Hermione have to do with all of this' he wondered.

Hearing a knock on the door he told them to come in. A group of eight appeared from the door; the first to burst through was of course Hermione and not far behind Ron, 'those two must have been so worried', following after those two was Lupin and 'Snuffles' his dog, 'Taking a big risk here aren't you Sirius'. A giant mange of bushy hair blocked his sight as he was tackled further into his bed.

"Now Hermione If you do that you might prolong Harry's stay here" he heard Lupin say. The mange moved away and seeing an embarrassed Hermione, she crawled of him and the bed that she launched herself on.

Getting the chance to see the rest who came in he was surprised. In the back of the room waiting, choosing not to crowd his bed, was Fleur, Fidis, Cedric, and Dumbledore. Fleur and Fidis wore matching colored clothes that looked to be of the expensive brand; she looked solemn while Fidis gave a soft smile. Cedric looked like he fully recovered with a minor scar on his neck, but looking closer you could still see some hidden bandages. Dumbledore looked….well just like the first time when he was in the medical wing, like he had no care in the world and as though one of his students didn't almost die. 'How he acts can be annoying at times'.

"So 'mate, feeling up for a game of wizard's chess or exploding snaps when you get back?" said his so called best mate, "Hermione isn't any fun" 'I'm in a hospital for severe near death injuries and that's the first thing he says to me, Hermione's right "emotional range of a teaspoon" for real maybe smaller if I think about it'.

"Ron! Honestly how can you say that when he nearly died?" 'Thank you'

"He looks alright to me"

"Just because he 'looks alright' doesn't mean everything is fine. I wasn't fine when I was petrified".

"Oh come off it, how bad could it have been? You were in bed asleep for a month of the school year, if anything you were lucky." Harry wanted to facepalm himself.

"Ronald Weasley!" She shouted/screeched. "You thick, idiotic, emotionally inept jerk. For your information I wasn't asleep the whole time. I was frozen stiff not taking a nap. I could feel and hear, but the petrification made me unable to see even though my eyes were open. I laid in that bed for a month feeling and hearing but not being able to really see or move. I was terrified."

"Ok ok geez, bloody hell Hermione. But it's not like the same thing's happened to Harry. You're all right aren't you" He said, looking at me with a smile.

"Don't get me involved with this fight, i'm just an injured patient here" Harry said, making sure to back out of it as fast as he could.

"Outside now Ronald, we are having a talk" Grabbing his ear she dragged him out to the hallway. Looking at the other six guests, he saw amusement in their eyes. "Well i'm glad i'm not him right now".

"Yes, she always seemed a bit….controlling" Lupin responded diplomatically

"True, but without her me and ron probably wouldn't have made it to our fourth year" Harry defended, though his tone spoke joy. "So how are you feeling? Snuffles and me have been worried sick". At the mention of Snuffles, the big black dog jumped onto his bed and curled up close to him. Ignoring the mental thought that it was a grown man curling up to a him, he started scratching the dog's ear. "I'll be fine Moony, i'll probably be discharged today when they check me over". He nodded and moved to the side, letting Cedric and Dumbledore come up to the bed.

"Hey Ced, how you feeling? Your walking so that must be good" Harry asked casually, but he showed with his eyes how worried he was for the Hufflepuff. "Fine Harry, I should be asking you that, all i got was minor burns with a few-" "-a lot" Harry corrected "Ok, you're right, all my bones broken basically. When they brought you into the med-room though, you looked on death's door. I actually thought you were dead a few times". His voice was somewhat shaky at the end and his eyes were getting cloudy. "its alright Cedric", Harry patted Cedric shoulder lightly, "Hogwarts isn't losing either of us".

"How are you Headmaster?" Harry spoke politely to the elder wizard. "Harry, harry, harry" he spoke back softly. "Just like Mr. Diggory hear said, it should be me asking that. You seem to always press your luck." He chuckled.

"Wasn't really my fault this time, did my score change since I actually had to face a dragon?"

"Besides escorting Mr. Diggory here that was why I came. I have been given the honor to tell you that you have been awarded forty-seven points. Your clue for the next challenge is on my desk and will be given back to you when you return". After given his news he and Cedric said good-bye and left. 'thats it?' Harry thought. 'Im not trying to be dramatic here but shouldn't there be like sorrow, worry, something? at least Cedric showed some worry'.

Moving out of his thoughts, harry moved his hand to Snuffles neck and began scratching softly again. Turning his attention to the last two he wondered why they were here. The first to make their move was Fidis "Hello Harry, seeing as everyone else has asked if you're alright i'll just ask if you're ready to leave?" "Anytime, i'm bored to death" Harry responded with a smile. Fidis smiled back and then looking behind him towards Fleur. He saw the two having a silent conversation. Quietly Fleur moved away from the wall and walked up as close as she could to him. She looked shy at the moment and he couldn't help but think how cute she looked. "Mr. Potter, I am zorry I called you a little boy. It was diz-respectful and wrong."

"Forgiven, besides I think i've proven the point that i'm not a little boy. But please refrain from having any more assumptions about me. I'd rather not go through such an extent just to prove you wrong." Sure he could be mean and hold a grudge, and she was somewhat forced to apologize, but she still meant it and overall she was a fun person to be with after she stopped being a snob. Maybe this was the beginning of it.

She looked shocked at his forgiveness, but then showed a genuine smile, "Thank you".

A few more minutes of pleasantries with Fidis and Fleur and they both left. leaving Lupin and Snuffles in the room; not, the door opened back up with a irritated Hermione coming through. No Ron though. "What happened to Ron, is he a patient here now?"

"Ha Ha Ha" She said sarcastically "He left with Dumbledore and Cedric. He didn't want to stay and deal with my 'nagging', said he saw you ok so he didn't need to stay. Ugh, I swear, its like...like...like-" "-He has the emotional range of a teaspoon" Harry finished. "Yes, thats an amazing way of putting it Harry" she beamed at him. "The emotional range of a teaspoon, now why didn't I think of that myself sooner" She said to herself.

Turning away from Hermione for a minute, he focused on Remus. "Moony, you know a lot about magical creatures. What kind of dragon was that? It seemed worse than the horn-tail" He didn't need to know that Harry had a good understanding of how dangerously different they were.

Sighing, the kind werewolf grabbed a chair and sat in it. "You weren't technically supposed to be facing 'that' type of dragon. The ice dragon you were going to face was an Arctic Carcere". Learning something new Hermione went into student mode, and seeing Hermione act like a student Remus unknowingly went into teacher mode. "The Arctic Carcere is one of the oldest dragon races that we know of. Its also quite docile and lazy, with no real predators within its lands it has no real need to be hostile or be worried. Yes Hermione?" Looking Harry saw Hermione with her hand raised. 'Even in a hospital' Harry shakes his head.

"So what exactly did Harry face then, because it was definitely not docile."

"Well usually when an Arctic Carcere dies the body actually decomposes into water, but if it matures long enough the magic it collects within its body begins to seep into its bones and when it gets enough of it when death comes it reanimates itself into a living ice skeleton" He and Hermione just looked at him.

Catching himself finally Harry spoke "so I was facing an actual zombie dragon, that freezes everything. How can it do that by the way, nevermind, magic duh". Remus smiled in amusement at Harry answering his own question. "From what i've gathered it's theorized that an extremely old and reanimated Arctic Carcere was the cause of, as muggles say, the ice age". He vaguely heard Hermione say 'no way' and he was with her. A undead dragon caused the ice age, and he fought a watered down version of it, and the creation of one is rare to begin with.

"Hermione"

"Yes, Harry"
"Starting today please keep track of anything that happens to me that has a record of never happening to anyone or very few people"

"Harry, that list will be so long though" 'Damn even she realizes how much random shite happens to me'. Remus laughed at our antics. "Well as much as i'd like to stay, I have to get Snuffles home. Come on you". Before Remus took him away, Sirius licked Harry's cheek goodbye and hopped off the bed, heading to the door. "Coming Hermione".

"I'm actually going to stay with Harry for a bit longer, I was given permission to stay from Madam Pomfrey" Remus nodded and left with dog in tow.

Turning to Harry she gave him the look. The look that said I want answers and I want them now. "So Harry why is it that Madam Pomfrey keeps bugging me about getting a check up and that she wanted me to come and stay with you for 'moral support'. Don't give me that blank look Mr. Potter, I know something is going on and I want to know now."

Harry looked at the door hoping that someone was going to come in and interrupt them, after a minute and nothing but Hermione staring at him. He sighed and rubbed his head. How is he going to explain something that even he has no clue about.

"I don't know Hermione. All I was told from Madam Pomfrey was that something wasn't right and that I needed a check-up" "But aren't you getting a check-up?" She asked confused. "Yes the official story apparently is that i've been sent to Saint Mungo's to heal faster-" "unofficially?" She cut in. "Something more and she doesn't want anyone to know till it's all fixed I think, and she might suspect what's going on with me is going on with you, which is why you're here. Officially to be my support, unofficially i'm supposed to convince you to get checked with me and find out what's going on". Silence covered the room. "You believe me right Hermione?" "Of course I do Harry, It's just a lot to take in".

"I know what you mean" The only reason why he wasn't too overwhelmed was because he was used to this. Hermione wasn't kidding, that list was going to be long.

"Harry"

"Yeah Hermione"

"Your lucky I love being your friend because being with you is hard work" Hermione failed to make it sound serious. She had a full blown smile that showed she never regretted being his friend. He laughed at her comment, and with her getting comfy at the edge of his bed they began talking about random topics till it was time to get the 'check-up'.
