"I- I don't know, Colby… I don't think I am ready to- uh- to be in this relationship… Not quite yet, at least." Colby stood still and looked at him alarmed, part of him was expecting that answer, but it's always different to think it than to hear it. "I don't want to lose you. Just- just give me some time to get my shit together, okay?" Colby nodded once at the other's statement with his heart banging against his chest.

There was a moment of silence, but Colby broke it "Thanks. For the sugar I mean" He raised his doughnut and smirked.

"No problem" Joe responded.

But there was one question that the tallest couldn't stop asking himself Why did he let himself get that wasted? He had to get it out of his chest. "So, can you tell me why you got stoned like that, last night?"

"I told you I don't remember much." Colby said as he laid back on the pillows and closed his eyes

"Yeah, but you do remember buying two freaking bottles of scotch, don't you? I want to know why you did it!" Joe's voice was louder even though he knew the younger man had a terrible headache.

"It wasn't-" Colby started

"Cut the shit, Colby, just tell me already!" He yelled

"Okay, you wanna know? Fine…" Colby got up on his feet really fast, but had to sit down on the bed, because it made him dizzy. Joe got up to help him, but before he reached him, Colby continued "It's you! You freaking kill me, every goddamn day!" He stood up again and started pacing back and forth "I go to work, I had a shitty night, dreamt about you several times, and then… I see you there talking to someone smiling and laughing like nothing happened, and half of me hopes that you look at me and the other half hopes you don't 'cause I don't want to see the look of disappointment in your eyes… You seem happy without me… and then you look at me like I'm anyone else around everyone else, like I meant nothing to you, like I don't even exist, like… I never did-"

Joe got up on his feet and in a second he walked toward Colby cupping his face "I think about you every day, you moron! There's not a day that goes by that I don't miss you! What you see out there every day… it-it's all an act. I'm not happy without you, in fact I don't know how to be without you… Jesus, I've never been like this, I have always been so independent, self-reliant, but without you by my side I feel kind of lost!" They stared into each other's eyes for a while, but the Samoan dropped his gaze and removed his hands from the other's face. Colby opened his mouth as if he was going to say something but then closed it. "Can you promise me you won't do anything stupid like last night?"

"I promise"

"Good." Their eyes met again "Well, if I'm going to spend my Friday here, we better get some good movies, where's your laptop?" Colby pointed at the little table by the window confused

"You're really staying?" Joe nodded "B- but don't you have to work out or something?" Colby buried himself in the pillows again

"Don't worry" Was all he said as he sat next to Colby. He bit his lip not to show the huge grin popping up on his lips while Joe was looking for a movie to watch "Goodness, you have a horrible taste in movies" He commented "Looney Tunes? Really? You're such a dork" He let out a laugh. After having a hard time deciding which movie to watch – seeing that Joe wanted Batman Forever and Colby wanted something from Marvel –, they finally picked one: Looney Tunes, but the younger one didn't watch the whole thing, his head was still aching as well as his stomach so he fell asleep on Joe's shoulder. He smiled when he felt Colby against him, he had missed those little things that made him happy.

Colby was still sleeping, now with his head on Joe's lap, when someone knocked at the door. Joe carefully stood up and opened it. It was Jonathan "What the hell happened?" He barged into the room

"Keep it down, will ya" Joe pushed his shoulder "Colby's sleeping, you dumbass!" Jon shrugged and headed toward the old armchair where Joe spent the night. Jon raised his eyebrow at him as if he was giving him permission to speak "Okay so, last night I got a call from him and he was drunk, but I didn't realize how bad it was until I got here… Jon, he almost slipped into a coma!" He looked briefly at the younger man.

"No shit!" Said Jonathan startled. He tensed up, he wasn't expecting something like that

"Shit!" Joe closed his eyes and took a deep breath "I swear, my heart almost jumped out of my chest when I saw him… That bastard had the guts to tell me to go away!" He argued pointing at Colby.

"Maybe he didn't want you to come or to worry… 'cause we all know that you go nuts when you are-"

"Well of course he didn't want me to come" Joe cut him off "But why did he call me?"

"Dude, he wasn't thinking straight, I bet he just wanted to hear your voice" The blue eyed man said waving his hands "It was a cry for attention… your attention, he loves you so much, man- it's kind of impressive that he didn't try to win you back all these days though" He got up on his feet and got closer to the bed "He's all grown up now!" Jon yelled as he jumped and fell on Colby waking him up "Wakey wakey!" He kept yelling while Colby pushed him off of him

"What the- What are you doing here?" Colby rubbed his head for it still hurt and slapped the other's leg to let him know so "And get your paws off my bed, you have your shoes on! I sleep there, you know" He said as he stood up heading towards the bathroom

"You have your shoes on… blah" Jon mimicked him in a mocking tone "Hey, Joe," He called lowering his voice "are you guys still together?" He asked him when he was sure the brunette wasn't able to listen to what they were saying. Joe shook his head no in response as he pulled his hair up in a ponytail, Joe opened his mouth to speak but closed it when Colby walked out of the bathroom like a zombie.

"Glasses… where are my glasses?" The brown-eyed man searched around the room

"You just put them on" Joe laughed

"I meant the sun glasses, it's too bright in here"

"Dude, you depress me!" Jon mocked "Are you going to spend the whole afternoon in this room?" They looked at each other and nodded "Did you even get out for lunch?" They both shook their heads "You guys suck… Oh my God, I swear to you I got 100 dirty jokes on my mind right now" He kicked his shoes off and fell on the bed "Ugh I'm hungry, room service?" He grabbed the phone on the nightstand

"Jon, you are always hungry!" Colby commented

"You were complaining because we didn't left the room and now you're staying? Don't you have a girlfriend to "kiss" or something?" Joe asked

"She's with the girls" Said Jon

"What happened?" Colby was suspicious, the tiniest expression from Jon would give him away

"Nothing… we just had a little fight today at work" He bit his lip

"Why?" The gray eyed man asked

"I don't know. Now that I look back I'm pretty sure it was over a sandwich or... the lettuce in it" Jon replied

"You're kidding!?" Joe frowned in disbelief
