W.I.T.C.H Wedding 2 The Unlocked Memory
Chapter 14
Nothing's Going Right
Things were just not working out so well for anyone In the W.I.T.C.H group.
What with not having much of a plan to get back into the castle to the problem with Matt and Will.
One was depressed.
The other a druggie.
(Those reasons I'm sure you guys can figure out)
Its not that out heroes decided not to do anything, it's just forming a plan right now is complicated without powers and ending up in the dungeons again or worse.
They don't even have any idea that Cedric returned to Earth and is awaiting to capture Will and bring her back to Phobos yet.
Talk about one of those crummy days.
But who doesn't have one of those days?
Actually nobody has a crummy day like that.
...
Okay then but you all get the picture right?
Anyway, let's go and check up on Will shall we?
~With Will at her Home~
Will was still asleep from the spices and napping in her room at the moment. She looked so calm in her sleep and was very quiet which was good. A good nap will do her well after a while Of solitude and quiet.
And while she naps, Susan tries to relax and catch a few winks of sleep herself. After all, all this running around and worrying about Will can really drive ones energy bar down to a 0. So Susan crashed onto the couch and decided to take a nap herself.
Now silence covered the house and not a noise escaped. Peace and quiet at long last had taken over and nothing looked like it could go wrong now.
Or could it?
Let's not forget that Phobos sent Cedric to Earth to retrieve Will; and with the help of that sand spell that allows Phobos to see whatever he wants gives him the upper hand here. Oh yes Phobos knew where Will was which meant that Cedric could easily bring her back. All he had to do was give him her location and easy Squeezy smooth sailing from there.
So Phobos sent a messenger to tell Cedric the news of Will's location and once it was given Cedric was off to her home.
Yes it was the perfect plan.
Sneak in using his powers, go to Will's room, grab her, leave unseen quietly, and then head for the portal.
Simple is it not?
Let the plan commence!
~Meanwhile~
With all seeming calm our heroes where back at the White Dragon chatting and discussing their plans for getting further into the castle. It's a matter of sneaking, silence, courage, focus and timing like a ninja. Okay not just a ninja there are others who are all that, but ninja seemed like a good example.
Anyway, the group was making plans once more, but Matt kept to himself and looked out the window. He couldn't stop thinking about Will and worrying about her safety. He knew what Phobos was capable of and wanted to be with Will to protect her. If only to take her in his arms and hold her close then he'd feel better right now.
He couldn't shake off the feeling that something bad was about to happen to her. Like what if she got captured again? What if the spices wore off? She could run away and get lost, or worse if she ran off.
Sure they had Blunk on patrol and a Walky talky to communicate; but if trouble was going to strike then the girls wouldn't be able to get to Will fast enough.
At that point Matt just wanted to spring into action and run to Will. He'd run all the way to her house without stopping not even once no matter what the reason may be nothing was going to stop him. Will was his main concern at the moment (not that she never was) and if he could just sneak away to check up in her then he'd feel less worried.
Only problem was making up a good excuse to get out of the resturant and see her. If he was careful enough he could sneak away when nobody was looking, but that doesn't always work. So Matt decided to watch the others, and when they weren't looking make a break for either the front door or nearest exit.
Hell, why not just go ahead and run straight out the door? Just go to Will and hold her in his arms. Let her know that he's here for her, and won't let anything ever happen to her again. Well he couldn't really say that because she was in danger from Phobos who would soon be back for her. As long as Phobos was still after her, Will wouldn't be safe.
"Will...I care about you so much. I can't let Phobos take you away again, so he can feed you lies, and keep you locked up. Somehow I will bring you back to us, and then I'll make Phobos pay for what he's done." Matt explained to himself.
Slowly tears began to form in his eyes. He really did feel guilty for his actions, and wanted to make things right by saving Will. Not just by returning her memories, but by teaching Phobos a lesson he'll never forget. That wouldn't be easy, but not everything is easy. This however, wasn't going to be easy what-so-ever. Phobos is a powerful being who will stop at nothing until he got everything he wanted.
So far he had accomplished stealing Will and the crystal and her memories and now all that was left was to defeat the guardians and rebels. If he somehow completed doing that then all hope would be lost, and Phobos would rule Meridian and probably the whole world next.
This could be a problem...
~With Will Again~
Will was still in a deep sleep unaware that Cedric had managed to sneak in through an open window and come to take Will back to Meridian and Phobos. He was currently in his snake form and smirking his usual evil smirk as he looked down at Will.
"The prince will be mosssst pleasssed having the girl back." Cedric said to himself, picking up Will gently and left through the window. Just as Will's mother Susan woke up and decided to go check on Will to see how she was doing. By the time she got to the bedroom and opened the door, Will was gone.
At first Susan thought Will was somewhere in the house, but seeing as how the window was opened she couldn't deny the facts that either Will ran away, or she was kidnapped once again. Tears began to form in her eyes because the thought of Will being taken again, and who knew what would happen to her in the hands of her kidnappers. Quickly, Susan called the police telling them what she found and thought had happened.
Little did she know, her daughter wasn't far from her sight, but because Susan was keeping herself busy she didn't even bother to search the area outside. Cedric was being sneaky as he was bringing a sleeping Will to the portal that was located on the top of a building. He easily slithered upward on the wall towards the top holding onto Will who was still asleep unaware of anything going on.
Eventually she's going to wake up and find herself in another different area which will really be back in Phobos' bedroom. She'll be back with him, the guardians will be leaderless again, and then it's back to square one on the rescue mission.
It's like a um how do I put it...
Ah yes, it's like a cycle that's repeating over and over until there's nothing to repeat anyone. Well something like that, but I'm sure the ideas making a good point here right?
Anyway, Cedric made his way to the portal, slithering non stop to it until he finally reached it. With a smirk of success on his face, Cedric went in it with Will, and then the portal closed behind him. He and Will were entering into Meridian and leaving Heartford behind once again.
~With the Guardians~
Plan after plan, and yet still there wasn't one that they could all agree on. They came close to having something a few times, but it was either to complicated, or just plain stupid after saying it a loud.
How those heroes on television do it will never be understood. Scratch that, how the directors come up with those brilliant plans for the actors to follow will never be understood. There had to be an easier way of forming/devising a plan to save Will and Meridian, but what?
Maybe they just weren't thinking hard enough?
No, maybe the trick here was to think more like Phobos?
If one really thought about it he had been beating them so far, and was one step ahead of the game. Which was really frustrating because this was really putting a strain on their brains.
"This is getting us nowhere, we've been going at the for hours and still we don't have a single plan to get back Will's memories." Caleb explained.
"Tell me about it, two hours and nothing." Irma said Leaning back against her chair
"My brain hurts can we take a break?" Hay Lin asked holding her head.
"I think a break is well in order here. It'll give us a chance to regain energy, and then devise a new plan." Tarrane explained.
"Yeah, hopefully one that doesn't stink so much." Irma said now hanging upside down in her chair.
Suddenly, the restaurants phone rang, so Hay Lin ran over, and answered it.
"Hello this is the Silver Dragon what can we do for you today?" She said through the phone.
"Hay Lin it's me Susan Vandom, Will's mother."
"Oh hello Ms. Vandom how's Will doing?" Hay Lin asked cheerfully.
"That's just it, Will's missing again. I went to check on her, but it was empty, and the window was wide open in her room. I don't know whether she snuck out or if she was kidnapped again. I'm really worried, and I was hoping she'd be with you." Susan explained.
"Uh oh...*bites her lower lip* Um...sorry ma'am, but Will's not with me, and I don't think she's with any of the girls because Irma, Cornelia, and Taranee are here with me." Hay Lin told her.
The sound of Susan's voice grew tense and shaky as she began to talk again.
"I-I see...okay...thank you."
That was all she said before hanging up.
Hay Lin too hung up, and took a moment to gather up her thoughts. How was she going to tell the others that Will was kidnapped by Phobos again? Could she really just go up and tell them this tragic news? It seemed really harsh to do it, but if she didn't then things were only going to get worse.
She had to tell them, but how was she going to do it?
Should she talk really fast, or talk really slow?
Should she try to draw it out?
Maybe she could give them hints, and they could guess?
No, it wasn't going to work like that. Speaking of news like that meant just spitting it out, being honest, and then cringe when the yelling occurred.
Taking a deep breathe, Hay Lin gathered up her courage, and walked back to the others To tell them what she'd heard/learned.
