Riley and Ben hiked back through the woods, and took a cab back to the hotel. It was nearly Eleven PM. Riley was sore from all the digging, and he took a long, hot shower.

When he got out, Ben was on the phone with Abigail. He was explaining to her how they'd met Henry Rawlins, and how their dig had been unsuccessful.

"I can't wait to see you, Abi." Ben told her. "Three days is too long."

"Say hi from me." Riley told him, opening his laptop. He was sitting cross-legged on his bed.

"Riley says hi." Ben told her. "Alright, well. I'm going to bed. I'm feeling pretty tired."

They said their goodbyes, then Ben hung up.

"I'm taking a shower, then i'm going to bed." Ben said, plugging his phone into the charger.

The next morning, Riley and Ben took their metal detectors back to the beach. They were scanning the beach, when somebody tapped Ben on the shoulder. Ben turned around to see Henry behind him, and shut off the machine.

"I don't want to talk to you." Ben told the man, glaring. "You pushed Riley off a pier. He could've been seriously injured."

"I wanted him out of the way." Henry explained. "Then I could help you find the treasure."

"You're sick. Riley is my friend, not you." Ben spat at him. "Leave us alone."

Riley had turned off his metal detector, and was silently watching them fight. Ben could tell from the expression on his face that he was worried.

"If I see you anywhere near us again, I will go to the police." Ben shouted out, as Henry walked away. They continued working. An hour later, Riley's metal detector went off. He dug through the sand, and unearthed a large, gold coin. It looked really ancient.

"How old is it?" Riley asked, excited. "Do you think it's worth alot?"

"I don't know." Ben told him, staring down at the coin.

Ben and Riley continued using their metal detectors in the same area that they found the coin, but they didn't find any others.

"Darn, no treasure chest." Riley joked.

"No." Ben said. "Not yet."

It was nearly lunchtime, so they walked back to the hotel. They were planning on dropping off their stuff before they went out to a restaurant. As soon as Ben opened the hotel room door, he was shocked to discover that there had been a break-in.
