A/N: Hello...
Don't own anything related to Teen Titans. Pointless to sue, don't got money.
Enjoy!
A loud knock on the door woke Raven the next morning. Her first reaction was to growl in annoyance, she had not been sleeping well since that night, and she was not happy that her peaceful sleep was broken. That was, of course, until her brain processed that a warm body was snuggling into her side, a soft breath washing the skin of her neck in regular rhythms. The annoyance was instantly replaced with a sort of joy that Raven hadn't felt since the day her father was killed.
With a smile, Raven opened her eyes and looked at Jinx, who was using her as a human pillow. Another knock at the door made the Mage remember what had woke her, and she carefully got out of bed, making sure not to wake her companion and yawned as she made her way to the front door. Nova was sitting near it, wagging her tail happily and letting Raven know that whoever it was, they wouldn't have to meet her demonic form.
"Alright, I swear to any god that I will break into your house Rachel!" A voice said playfully, "And I know you can hear me, so please let me in... I need someone to talk to."
Raven smiled, opening the door to let Destiny in. The redhead huffed and walked right by her ex-girlfriend, flopping onto the couch and petting Nova when the wolf came over to her. Raven watched her for a moment before heading into the kitchen and making a pot of tea, as well as start the coffee maker.
"My date went well last night... I slept with her." Destiny said, though her voice didn't sound as happy as the words implied.
"Oh? Well then how was the girl from the escort service?" Raven asked, pouring two cups of tea and a cup of coffee, adding a little sugar and milk to it.
'That smells really good... I hate my job... She was fine, but it was nothing more then a priced pros-"
The words were cut off and Raven hurried to grab a two of the three cups and leave the kitchen, and discovering that Jinx was now awake and staring at the redhead on the couch in confusion. Nova had moved over to sit next to Jinx, moving her head into the metahuman's hand and trying to get her to scratch her ears.
"Uh, who are you?" Jinx asked, petting Nova.
"Hello... I'm Destiny Johnson... I'm, uh."
"She's my ex girlfriend." Raven said, handing the woman her coffee before going over to Jinx and kissing her gently on the lips, "Morning." She whispered with a happy smile.
"Morning." jinx replied, giving Raven another kiss as the mage handed her the cup of tea in her hand, "Raven, this ones yours."
"No, it's yours, I have a cup in the kitchen." Raven said, walking back into the kitchen and grabbing her cup.
"So... Uh, which ex are you?" Jinx asked, taking a seat in the recliner in the corner of the living room. Nova went over to her bed and laid down, watching the two women.
"I'm not the bitch that..."
"Des, stop." Raven said, sitting on the ground in front of Jinx. She looked up at the meta-human and smiled, "Destiny isn't the one who used me."
Destiny and Raven continued to talk, as Jinx sipped at her tea and slowly woke up. She listened to what they talked about, and smiled at random points when Destiny would playfully make fun of the Titan for something. She looked around the room, and finally noticed the pictures on the one book shelve in the room. There were several of them, most containing random pictures of the Titans; the two that stuck out the most were one of Raven and Nikolas, and one with the Mage sitting in the park, a happy smile on her face and a red head in her lap.
Without thinking, Jinx got to her feet and walked over to the photo, picking it up and looking at it closer.
"We were dating for a month and a half." Destiny supplied, "The Titan's had been breathing down Rach's neck about meeting me, so she invited me to a picnic they were having. I think Kori was the one who took the picture."
"Kori?" Jinx asked, looking up at the redhead,
"Starfire." Raven said, getting to her feet and moving over to Jinx. She wrapped her arms around the metahuman's waist, and placed a kiss on her neck. Jinx nodded, leaning her head back and looking at Destiny, who was watching them with a soft smile.
"What are you doing here?" Jinx asked, "Cause you can't have her back." She added, a hint of jealousy in her voice.
Destiny laughed, "I know, I had known from the beginning of our relationship that I was not meant for her. But, now that you said something. Raven, show me." She said, holding out her hand.
Raven walked over with Jinx following behind her, lifting her arm and showing her the tattoo on her forearm. The original blurred tattoo was replaced with a tree; the leaves and branches were right under the dip of her elbow and the roots stretched out around her wrist. There was a small shadow hidden in the roots that looked like two figures huddled together. All three of them looked at the tattoo in different levels of awe.
"Alright Jinx, Now is when I sit you down and tell you never to harm her." Destiny said playfully, smiling.
Jinx looked at her, "Something tells me I should heed your warning."
"You two are not the only meta-humans in this house." Des responded, "I can control fire. Daddy paid Raven to teach me how to control it... after I nearly burnt our house down."
"Yes, then he learned you were falling behind in classes and asked me to tutor you in that too." Raven added, still looking at the tattoo. After a moment she looked at Jinx with a small smile, "Thank you."
Jinx frowned in confusion, "For what?"
"Accepting me."
Jinx smiled, "Something tells me I would have fallen for you anyway, regardless of how long it would have taken me."
Raven smiled back, pulling Jinx into a passionate kiss. Destiny started gagging, while Nova started howling at them, walking around their legs and trying to get their attention. Raven pulled back, laughing at her pet as she stepped away from Jinx, who was then pounced on.
"Nova!" The human luck charm shouted, rolling around on the ground with the wolf.
Destiny smirked, "Good to know I wasn't the only one who gets attacked like that." She commented, before turning to her friend, "Will you be at the Bar tonight?"
"As long as nothing happens that needs my attention, I should be. Oh... Maybe you can help me find out who Nik is dating... The man refuses to tell me."
Destiny nodded, smiling, "Do you mind if I crash in the spare room?"
"As long as you don't walk around naked." Raven replied, shrugging her shoulders. Jinx froze, looking up at the redhead with confused eyes.
Destiny nodded, "I promise... Although maybe I could convince Jinx to do that instead?" She wondered, then pretended to lower her voice as she looked at said woman, "If you do, I'm sure Rach will jump you, and you won't be able to walk for days."
Raven growled lightly, "Shut up Des." She said, a blush tinting her cheeks, "I don't need your help in my sex life!"
Destiny laughed as she left the room, waving at the two woman. Jinx looked at the mage, her head tilted in thought. Raven smiled slightly, trying desperately to stop the blush that wanted to spread to her ears. Jinx couldn't help but smirk at her, getting to her feet and walking over to her girlfriend.
"So... Is that true?" She asked, leaning in to whisper in Raven's ear.
The half-breed gulped, a scared look coming to her face for a moment, "Uh... Only if you want it to be..." She whispered back, not sure if that was the right answer or not.
Jinx smiled, "Good. I'll be expecting that soon." She said, pulling back to kiss the startled woman, "For now, I would very much like to take it slow. I don't want to freak out on you again... Not if it will result in us fighting."
Raven smiled, pulling Jinx into a tight hug, "I would do anything for you, Jinx." She promised.
The two sat on the couch and cuddled while watching TV for the next few hours, just enjoying the day together. A little before five, Raven started on dinner, and Destiny joined them, spending the next thirty minutes talking to Jinx and telling her more about her past, and her time with the Titan. Jinx didn't really want to like the redhead, not liking that she had been with Raven at all, but she couldn't seem to stop herself. Destiny was equal parts flirty, playful, and serious in a way that made it hard to hate her for long. Plus, because of her own powers, she knew what it was like to feel hated, or envied, and understood how hard it was to call people friends.
"I do not care if you ever come to like me, but I consider Raven a friend, and I have no problem setting your ass on fire if you tell her to stop being friends with me." Destiny said, her tone serious and her face void of the playful grin it had been sporting all through dinner.
Jinx looked at her, then turned to look at Raven, who was pretending to not be in the room, "I don't think I could ever do that." She finally said, then shrugged, "Besides, I'm starting to see you as a friend anyway."
Destiny smiled, "Good, I promise I'll tone down my flirting..."
Raven snorted, getting to her feet and taking her plate to the sink, "I think Hell will freeze over before that happens."
Jinx watched the blush that spread across the redhead cheeks, and couldn't help laughing, "It's all right. I know you don't mean it... and if you do, I know Raven would never go back to you."
Destiny smiled in spite of her blush, "Good. Now... Who's ready to go see the gay man?"
A/N: Alright, so as of now, I should have a few more chapters, then this story will be over. I plan to make an OC for Nikolas, and let our two favorite ladies have a night of passion before closing the story up with an epilogue.
Hope you Enjoyed! ^^
