I glanced around as the sun set on KISSteria. "Wow. For once, everything is quiet."
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Starchild asked, as he stopped. "Juliana," pausing, he sighed, "I'm sorry about telling you to jump off the guitar earlier. I was under a huge amount of stress and just took my anger out on the person closest to me. Well, come on, we gotta get back."
"Starchild, wait. What's the rush to get back? Let's stay for a bit longer."
"I don't want Demon to think we're doing something."
I laughed. "Demon doesn't control me. I'm free to have my own will. Besides, Demon's too busy to even care. He's probably stuffing his face right now."
Starchild let out a smile. "I guess you're right."
We walked in silence to the portal.
