Chapter 14: Bright Moon
"Now this is a file worth reading." Ichigo said.
"Who would've guessed those two be together." Soul commented.
"They make a great team after beating Aizawa-sensei in the final exams." Izuku explained.
Naruto and Sorey were flabbergasted.
"Those two… beat Aizawa-sensei?!" Naruto asked.
"I knew Todoroki was strong – but to beat one of your best teachers…" Sorey explained.
"It was thanks to Yaoyorozu-san's strategy that they pulled it off." Izuku explained.
"Really?!" Naruto, Sorey and Soul exclaimed in unison.
Maka was smiling.
"I knew he was perfect for you, YaMomo." Maka thought.
Subjects: Shoto Todoroki x Momo Yaoyorozu
Date Subject: Bright Moon
It was nighttime in the beautiful black sky with white stars shining brightly and a full moon present.
Shoto and Momo (with her ponytail undone and left to flow down her hair), dressed in their PJs, were sitting on the dormitory rooftops watching the full moon in front of them.
"The moon's very bright tonight." Momo said.
Momo suddenly saw the fire-ice Quirk user feeling drowsy.
"Oh my, what's wrong?" Momo asked.
Shoto didn't say a word for two seconds.
"Just feeling a little tired." Shoto replied.
Momo sees the problem, knowing Shoto is under stress at the moment.
The creation user wrapped her arms around her fellow classmate to the side for comfort.
"Everything will be alright, Todoroki-san." Momo explained.
"I will be right by your side." Momo continued.
Shoto was surprised by how close she is.
Momo released the hug and giggled.
Shoto sighed.
"How is it that can you see right through me?" Shoto asked.
"Isn't that because you're easily to read?" Momo asked.
"I just know it!" Momo thought, easily knowing the answer to her question.
Shoto began to give a small smile and put his left hand on Momo, surprising her.
"See? You really are…" Momo thought.
Shoto began to lean towards Momo; Momo knows what's coming but didn't wanna stop him.
"… Easy to read." Momo thought.
Shoto gave a passionate kiss to Momo, causing her to deepen the kiss with her arms wrapped around his shoulders, and one of his hands around her hips and the other on top of her head, feeling the softness of her midnight black hair.
They stayed like that for 2 minutes before letting go for oxygen, but Shoto still has his right hand on top of Momo's hair.
"You know what I'm thinking, weren't you?" Shoto asked.
Momo blushed yet giggled.
"Maybe that makes two of us." Momo replied.
Shoto smiled once again before caressing against her scalp, making her give a soft sound.
"I'll be going to bed now." Shoto said.
"Okay." Momo said.
Shoto gave a quick kiss to her lips before releasing his hold on her.
"Love you, Momo." Shoto said.
"You too, Shoto." Momo said.
"Goodnight." Shoto and Momo said in unison.
Climbing down the rooftops, both teens headed back to their dorm rooms as the moon continue to shine in the night.
The Acts were completely surprised.
"Yaoyorozu always knows what he's thinking, huh?" Sorey asked.
"Almost if she could read his mind." Izuku commented.
Maka squealed.
"You did it, YaMomo!" Maka thought.
"Guess those two do make another excellent team." Ichigo commented.
"I'll say." Soul said.
Naruto chuckled.
"He may be different than Gaara. But I know they're still alike when they gain many great friends." Naruto thought.
My 2nd favorite couple after IzukOcha! I especially loved their shared moment in season 2 episode 22 of MHA, and how the MHA Comic Dub on YouTube – "Bright Moon" involving a TodoMomo moment. Six more to go!
