A/N: So I literally just thought of putting the prompt to the story, so as folk not be confused. What do you think of the idea?

Lauren Lewis had been preparing dinner for her fiance, not for very much longer as their wedding was the next day, when the light knocking came from the door. Looking back at the stove top and oven, she bit her lip in thought, shrugged, and moved towards the door; it wasn't like she was going to be gone for that long that the food would burn, she thought.

Opening it, she had a small smile on her face in greeting, when a black bag was forcefully thrown over her head and her gasp and yell filled her ears. Multiple hands grabbed her arms and waist aggressively and she was dragged out into the blistering cold, thrown into a vehicle, and made to be quite while her kidnappers drove to an undisclosed location. All the while, Lauren tried not to whimper in fear.

Tamsin had walked into the apartment complex with a slight pep in her step. She had bagged the asshole who had been killing animals around the city, something the valkyrie looked down upon greatly, and she was in a pretty good mood. That was, however, until she walked to the ajar door of her fiance's apartment and smelt burning food coming from the stove top. Running through the door and to the appliance she quickly swatted away the smoke that was beginning to rise, and turned off the stove and the oven. Looking around, she yelled out her lover's name but only heard her own voice whispering back her echo.

Something was very wrong; she could feel the sudden fear of death wash over her as she felt Lauren's emotions and she had to shake her head to clear her mind.

Going back to the door, she looked down, trying to find anything that could tell her what was happening, what had happened to Lauren, and found a small strand of silver hair. Closing her eyes and then opening again, they had turned a sunken coal color, she tilted her head while looking at the strand of hair. It glowed brightly of death and she threw it to the ground as she stood.

Her sisters had her Lauren.

It was common knowledge for all valkyrie's to be able to befriend, join forces, and even track each other around long distances. During World War II, Tamsin had tracked one of her sisters across an entire continent, as she had been on a mission to assassinate the leader of the Nazi party, and Tamsin was ordered to stop her. Not that she did, Tamsin reminded herself, as she walked briskly out into the open.

Shaking her head at the thought, Tamsin got into her truck quickly, waited until her engine turned over, and quickly began to follow the cold feeling in her heart. That feeling grew warmer as she got closer and closer to her sisters, and she wondered what the hell was going on.

It wasn't their business in her affairs, though she had invited them to the wedding, and she remembered briefly the time she had brought Lauren to meet them in a local neutral fae bar down on Kings. They had all been cordial, immensely so, in fact, and they had put their arms around Lauren and welcomed her into the fold with open arms. That's how the valkyrie folk worked; if one of their sisters chose to live their life in a way that wasn't the "norm" they wouldn't care as long as it didn't hurt the valkyrie in question. So why the hell had they made Lauren feel fearful while they took her?

Pulling up to the same fae bar she had introduced them in, Tamsin's brow rose in question for a moment before she threw open her truck door and jogged to the bar door. Taking a deep breath, she had no idea what she was in for, she silently opened the door and walked quietly inside. Coming around the corner that marked off the walkway and the actual bar, she stopped at the end of the corner and peered inside, assessing the surroundings. It was eerily quite, weirdly so and Tamsin would have walked right into the building if not for a loud ruckus suddenly come from the far end of the establishment.

Turning her head quickly, she squinted and saw Lauren sitting, and notably smiling, at the far end of the bar on a small couch. Tamsin's sisters sat beside her, clapping their hands in union, and a very fit, very beautiful young woman came out of a small indent in the left side of the wall wearing nothing but a red bra and panties with small beads hanging off of both garments. Tamsin's eyes narrowed when her sisters brought out wads of cash from their pockets, and one of them- gods damn it, Ætta*- slipped a few bills into an abashed Lauren's palms. The stripper came closer to Lauren, shaking her breast in her face as she moved onto the doctor's lap, and she only stopped vigorously moving her hips so that Lauren could pull the cup of her bra open wide enough to stick a bill inside. The stripper began moving again on the doctor's lap and the blonde put her head in her hands as she smiled and laughed in embarrassment as the valkyrie's sitting next to her whooped and hollered.

Tamsin was going to leave after hitting herself over the head, she had forgotten about the human tradition of bachelorette parties, but stopped as the stripper had taken off her bra and swung her breast around in Lauren's even more beet red face. Up to that point, Tamsin had been leaning her shoulder onto the wood of the corner, a small smile playing on her lips at her lover's ridiculously happy face, but immediately pushed off and walked into the room after the stripper had bared her chest.

She quickly walked the space to the far end of the bar, grabbed the strippers underarms gently, yet forcefully, and picked her up off of Lauren. Looking down with soft eyes, she looked at a confused and shocked Lauren, bent down and put her shoulder on the woman's stomach while taking her left arm in her hand, and picked her up quickly.

"Tamsin!" Lauren tried to get out of the hold, her upper body dangling uselessly on Tamsin's back, and she yelled the valkyrie's name again.

"No strippers for you," Tamsin sang as she walked back the way she came. She would have made it to the door if not for her sisters laughing and getting up from the couch, blocking her way quickly.

"Come now, Thomisina. It's but a bit of fun," Erna said, putting her hands up submissively a smile matching the rest of her kin.

"Come, come, let your wife go and enjoy the festivities! It is against human customs, I would imagine, but you may stay as well, sister," Ætta said, coming up and putting a gentle hand on Lauren's back to get her down off of Tamsin's shoulder.

Tamsin sighed and hopped up a little, letting Lauren fall back into her sister's outstretched hand, and looked down at the blonde. Smiling she said a quick "Sorry" and laughed as her other three sisters came around from the bar with pitchers in hand.

"Skál," the sisters cried as they clinked their glasses together and downed the alcohol.

Tamsin saw Lauren seemed only a bit confused, the woman must have heard it only once before when Tamsin had taken her to the bar, and she leaned down and said, "It's just an Icelandic toast. Most valkyrie's are from that side of the world, nothing more."

"You never really talk about it," Lauren replied, looking up at the lighter blonde.

"Maybe we'll have to change that." Tamsin winked, and Lauren blushed, and she looked back towards the stripper. "Does she speak the mother tongue?"

"That she does! We made certain," Erna said, coming up and patting Tamsin's back hardily.

Tamsin smirked and said, "Stúlka! Komdu og bera vín og þú færð fylling verðlaun." The strippers eyes lit up, she must have been feeling pretty down from being discarded by the valkyrie, and she came over to do as she was asked.

Bearing wine to all of them, the pretty thing twirled around Lauren and Tamsin as they went to sit back on the couch. The thing poured a few grains of salt on her neck as the night waned, and the valkyrie's and doctor had switched to shots, and Tamsin watched only with a twinge of jealousy when the blonde took hold of the stripper's neck and licked off the salt granules. Looking back and taking the shot from Tamsin, her eyes sparkled when she tilted her head back and downed the shot. Looking for the lime, she was frantic, she smiled and laughed as Tamsin grinned, the lime stuck in her mouth.

Coming closer, Lauren mounted Tamsin's lap, and kissed the valkyrie as she bit on the fruit. They laughed when they pulled away and Lauren licked her teeth to get rid of the acidic taste of the lime. Tamsin's sisters laughed, whooped, and hollered the entire night as this tradition continued, and it was far into the morning when they even began to think of home.

It was one of the first parties Tamsin had ever been to, certainly the first bachelorette party for her, and she decided she liked it. She would have to get her sisters together more often, and the blonde doctor, to do this again. It was the most fun she had had in centuries and she was thankful for her kin, her sisters, her family.

Tamsin smiled up at the blonde as Lauren mounted her again, and they kissed for what seemed like the rest of the night.
