I am so sorry for the long wait guys! I've just been busy... and my friend got amnesia... and miraculously gained his memory back the following morning. It's best you don't worry about him, he gets fatally wounded every week or so. But one little message for a special someone. I believed it was you right from the start, and I'm overly happy to hear that you'll eventually come back to me, I'm gonna keep smiling for you. And one last thing... I uh... I ... Ich liebe dich. Now enough messages and on to the story.

Disclaimer: Me own SWAT Kats... that's almost as funny as me falling down stairs.

"Is he going to be fine?" Cody asked looking at the unconscious fox. The group crowded around, concern for his safety. They all stared at Drake, assuming that he knew something about any condition or health problem that would cause this.

"I have no idea, he's not one to fall asleep so easily." The wolf answered. Jake took the moment to take back the book and cover up suspicion.

"He must've been tired from last night, he's been staying up reading." The cinnamon tom could only hope it was the truth. With that said, everyone returned to their seats while Chance made sure that Roy was put a comfortable position.

"I thought you hated him?" Jake added, having seen the caring action.

"I don't like him either, but doesn't mean I have to be cold hearted to him all the time." During all the commotion, the earlier match had finally ended with Oni moving on to the next round. The next two combatants were a Lion named Striker and a human named Draco. The young tabby gasped as he looked at Draco. The same posture, the same look in his eyes, and the exact same scar he's seen numerous times before. 'Baldo... why are you here?' He asked himself, but concluded that he would just cheer on his friend.

Roy was confused as he stared at the scene in front of him. He could've sworn that moments ago he was inside, but now he was in streets of Megakat during an attack. And why were people passing through him like ghost? Despite his attempts, he would phase through any slight contact with any person.

"This is creepy as fuck... It's like I'm in the Twilight Zone." The fox stuffed his hands in his pockets and started to investigate while looking casual. Which he thought was a little pointless seeing as he was going through people, and no one was even showing him any attention. That only furthered his questions, and why everyone was dressed slightly old fashioned. It wasn't a drastic change of scenery, but about a decade from his generation. Roy walk throughout the streets, trying to figure out bits and pieces of what was happening. But apparently from the screams from the citizens, the city was being attacked by an unknown villain. No mention of Dark Kat, Dr. Viper, or even of the lesser known villains. And from keen observation, he notice random missiles falling from the sky.

"Kinda uncoordinated and messy to me. I would at least focus on specific points... Great, now I'm having conversations about toppling a city by myself..." The fox sighed and knew that if he didn't get out of this... situation soon, he would fall into madness. There was one thing that caught his eye. A wreckage out in the middle of the street where a human boy sat crying over it. Blood was steadily flowing out of said wreckage, same could be said about the tears flowing from the child. The sadness of the situation hit the fox's heart, bringing back the softness he always hides. He was body was moving towards the boy despite the protests he was giving himself.

"The kid will go through me like everyone else has, there's no point in helping." He yelled at himself, but to contradict his logic, the boy turned his head to look at him, and not staring at his general direction, but AT him. 'Wait, can he see me?' Roy stayed were he was and observed the boy. The child did as well, and both were just having a staring contest at this point. He had enough of figuring things out, so Roy tossed logic and reason out the window and kneeled down next to boy.

"Are you ok?" But he knew that the answer was already bad, he noticed burns all over the left arm that seemed to waver up it. And through slight common sense, the boy must have known the person that died in the wreckage.

"I-I have to be strong..." The boy muttered. "For M-mom!" Despite not getting a clear answer, hearing the boy trying to mask his pain only stabbed the fox in his heart.

"Kid, you can be strong latter. But right now, you have to survive. How do you expect to be strong when your dead?" To add more emphasis to his words, a missile detonated dangerously close to them. Survival habits kicking in, Roy picked up the boy in his arms and ran away from any sort of danger. He honestly didn't know why he was running, people were already passing through him, and he didn't even know why all this was happening. Yet finding out that this kid could hear and see him, let alone be able to carry him and not pass through his body. It was the only lead he had to an answer. That and he still had that fleeting fear of death.

Jake cracked open the book of spells, hoping to find an explanation to why Roy was unconscious. He took a different approach of reading, and read each page thoroughly. Eventually he found a list of explanations for each spell. He continued on to find any with a side effect for sleep. And to his luck, he found only one spell that renders the user unconscious. Memoria. The spell of memories, by first gathering an individual's memory of any event, the user can enter said event and interact with the owner of the memory. Jake could only wonder who memory was in the book. 'Is there any way to stop the effects?' He asked himself, and soon found that it was as simple as shaking him awake. Although the situation was somewhat serious, Jake chuckled slightly at the simplicity of waking him up. 'I honestly thought I had to get someone to kiss him, or even get him a potion.'

"Hey, would someone mind waking Roy up?" The cinnamon tom asked.

"I'll do it... time for some fun." Micheal volunteered and smiled at the thought of payback.

With all the running he had done, the fox was thankful he found a safe building to rest in. The boy was still in his arms, burring his face into his chest and crying to his heart's content. The fox felt awkward, if there was one thing he didn't know how to deal with, it was a crying child.

"Uh, hey, stop crying?" Roy attempted to comfort him, but even he knew it failed. He let out a defeated sigh. 'I am never having children...' The fox had no idea what to do, so he continually pet the boy until his sobs calmed down. 'Huh? Guess that work... what do I do now?!' He was hoping the boy would start talking, but he stayed quiet and still had his face in his chest.

"Hey kid, what's your name?" The fox asked, hoping formalities could help.

"Baldo..." The boy answered. Roy's eyes went wide before everything went black. The next thing he knew, his cheeks were being pinched and pulled by Micheal.

"Wake up." He simply stated, despite knowing the fox was awake.

Sorry to end it here, especially since you all had to wait FOREVER for it. But I promise I'll get back into routine. Also, I kinda want to start a new story. I mean I already have three oneshots, three series (one of which is completed and the other being rants, and this story) But I just want one more to work... just so I have seven works altogether. But I can't decide on what I want it to be on. I have three decisions.

1: A Soul Eater and Bleach Crossover with my favorite fluffy captain.

2: A Mario story with my favorite baby Yoshi, an OC, and the King himself.

Or 3: A Star Fox story featuring the child prodigy, Marcus McCloud.

I just noticed that each choice features an underrated character that hardly gets any recognition. So help me decide, please! And I'm know I'm pretty early saying this... well depending on your time zone and when you read this. Sweet Dreams.
