Huayra POV
The light of the morning shines into the cave and it slowly opens my eyes. As my eyes open I sit up on my haunches, and then I look over to Siku and see she is still sleeping. A smirk makes its way across my muzzle and I head out of the cave and towards the river. I arrive at the bank of the river in record time and quickly catch my breath and take a big swig of water but don't swallow it. I made sure I had the max amount of water I could hold in my mouth and quickly made my way back to the cave.
Once I arrived at the cave, I saw Siku was still sleeping and my smirk reappeared across my muzzle. I sat in front of her a good ten paws away and began to aim my muzzle directly at her face. I lowered my body into position and then let loose a wave of water, that splashed all over Siku's face. She was up in a record time and I began to back up as she filled up with anger.
I couldn't help but to chuckle and so began our game of 'catch me if you can'. Siku was hot on my tail and I was still laughing, her face that she made was one that could never be forgotten. It looked like an angry sneeze of some sort. To my demise, my laughing took a toll on my breath and I was now gasping for air. Having no other choice I dropped to the ground and watched as she slung past me, but she quickly reversed course and she jumped on top of me.
This only managed to push all the air in my lungs out of my body, now I had the wind knocked out of me and no way to tell the enraged Siku. Lucky for me she quickly cooled down and just sat down on her haunches and starred at me. She said "Your a real royal pain in the ass, you know that?" I smiled but I still hadn't recollected the air in my lungs for a few more seconds. Once I was able to speak I said in a joking sarcastic tone "Well if you hadn't slept so long then that may have been a different story."
Siku shook her head and then said "You know karma will get the best of you?" I dropped my smile and said "Yeah, yeah whatever." Siku shook her head and then she looked around. Her eyes light up and then she looked directly at me and said "You wanna climb some trees?" I scoffed and said "Please I'm the master tree climber." Siku rolled her eyes and in a sarcastic tone said "I bet..."
I walked over to a relatively big tree with a lot of branches as did Siku. I sat at the bottom of its trunk and glared all the way to the top of the enormous tree. I then looked over to Siku and gave her a paw towards the tree while saying "Lady's first." She smiled and said "Oh please are you that much of a wimp?"
Being the 'up to the challenge" kind of wolf I started to climb the tree...lets just say I really have never climbed a tree. So now it was just up to my gut to get me up this tree. I dug my front two sets of claws into the bark and managed to push off with my back two legs as I pulled up with my front two and shot myself to the closest branch on the tree. Once I had myself completely balanced on the branch I looked down at Siku and gave her a smirk.
Just as she acknowledged my cockiness, the branch I was standing on started to give way and made a cracking noise. It all ended with me landing back first in the snow and starring into Siku's giggling face. Now it was my turn to get angered and chase her. I quickly sprung to my feet and to my demise Siku climbed up a tree. This tree was much smaller and seemed like an easier task.
So as she made her way to the top I began at the bottom. She was all the way at the top in no time. Siku laughed at me as I made my was halfway. As I inched towards her, we both heard a cracking noise. This time it was much louder and not a branch, it was the whole tree. As me and Siku descended with high momentum to the ground I could hear her laughing stop, and I felt fear enter my being.
After what felt like forever I collided with the ground as did Siku and the tree. Luckily the snow was soft and our fall wasn't that painful, at least for me...
