HEYO! Some lime in this chapter because I wanted to try it out. I had to retype this chapter TWICE on my phone! I need a new documents app. Anyways, R and R!

Keira stayed in her room for the rest of the day. I couldn't blame her, the person who she was pretty much forced to trust had humiliated her on front of her closest friends and teammates. Having a horrible childhood didn't help either. The next morning, a majority of the team gathered in the living room to Engineer's request, so I assumed that we were still gonna go to that museum he was talkin' about.

"Hey hard hat," I said. "How far away is this place?"

"A bit too far, I reckon. I, well, got the wrong directions on how far away it would be." He said nervously. We sighed in disappointment.

"Well I ain't a cartographer!" He retorted.

"True, true. We do not have to travel anywhere fancy, I suppose." Spy said. Keira and Demo walked down the stairs. Her face lacked a smile, but she wasn't completely depressed either. She wore an above mid-thigh white dress with a green jacket. Her hair sprawled down her chest and shiny black boots covered her feet.

"Good morning," she said quietly, looking sleep-deprived.

"Oh, I hope it will be." Engie said, pulling out a map.

"Is something wrong?" She asked, pulling on her collar.

"We cannot visit a museum today, apologies from our dear Engineer." Spy said, glaring at Engie.

"We could visit the Administrator," Keira suggested, and we all shot her a surprised look.

"After the way she treated you?" I said, making my voice sound angrier than I intended it to be.

"I mean, I could show her that she can't just do what she did to me yesterday and get away with it! I have to go set her straight! The little bitch needs a lesson." She said, clenching her fists.

"But what if fire girl gets in deep trouble?" Heavy asked.

"She can't fire me, and I know why. She's too selfish to let go of her employers, because that means she'll lose more money. Australium, in her case. Could you guys help me?" She asked, looking innocent.

"Oh, of course! Every step of ze way!" Medic said, and the rest of us agreed.

"Gentlemen, let us move!" Spy said, the only one still being serious. I was the first one outside. I realized that Ms. Pauling hadn't been seen by any of us in awhile. She was probably at the other base. Keira was close behind me.

"Heads up!" She warned cheerfully, and jumped on my back. I lifted her up by her legs and hoisted her onto my shoulders. Apparently piggyback rides were still popular. Medic and Heavy followed suit, laughing. The Administrator's office was only a mile away, so it didn't take long for us to jog our way over there. Keira clung onto my head as she bounced up and down, keeping her balance.

"Slow down!" Heavy said. I'm surprised he had made it this far. We finally reached the black building of all the Administrators from different parts of the country. The rest of the crew arrived, panting from the workout. Soldier had rocket jumped most of the way, so I don't know what he was trying to catch his breath for.

"Herr Soldier, would you please attach your rocket launcher to your jacket please? It vouldn't be good to intimidate ze Administrator vith such weaponry." Medic said.

"Oh, come on! The woman sees death every day, doc!" He responded. Keira slid down my back and onto the ground as she led through the door. We stopped at the front desk in the lobby.

"Hi, where is Helen? The Administrator for RED and BLU?" Keira asked.

"Room 4B, is she expecting visitors?" The attendant said.

"Sort of..." We dashed off before she could ask us any more questions that would prevent us from coming in. There were lots of bussinessy-looking people that seemed to be around Medic's age.

"Okay, room 4B. That's ze fourth floor, obviously." Spy pressed on the elevator button and it opened instantly.

"Let us move," he said. "Keira, have you ever thought about what you are going to say to ze boss once we confront her?"

"I have no clue..." She said, leaving the elevator once we came to the designated floor.

"You could make her feel sorry," I suggested.

"I don't want to mess with her emotions, I just want to get it through her head that she's not going to treat me like that and expect me to work for her!" She answered.

"Room 4B, to ze left." Spy interrupted. Keira swerved left and we followed behind her.

"She can start the conversation and I'll take it from there." She said, still looking unsure. I knocked on the door. It immediately opened.

"Ms. Pauling? You've been here all this time?" I said, dumbfounded.

"I do work here, you know. Here to see her?" She asked plainly.

"Yeah." Keira answered before I could. We confidently walked in, ready to face the devil itself.

The Administrator sat in a tall, purple chair, like the kind those evil villains have in the comic books.

"Who is it?" She asked, the back of the chair turned towards us.

"All nine classes." Keira answered, giving a half-smile of sarcasm. Helen spun around to face us. Her appearance was new. Her hair was sleek and black, without a strand of gray. She still had some wrinkles, but she looked younger in some sense.

"What is it that you want?" She asked, taking a sip of her coffee. "I am a very busy woman."

"Is it true..." Keira began, "that you won't fire any of your employees because you'll lose money?"

"I do not care for just money, Pyro." She smugly said.

"Redmond and Blutarch might have had a different description of you." Keira calmly said, casually looking at her nails.

"And why would you assume that?"

"They didn't hide the world's largest stockpile of Australium."

"Oooohhhhhhh!" Heavy said, like it was the Jerry Springer show.

"That even shows your obsessed with money!" Keira fought.

"Yet, people change, don't they? You've changed. If I didn't look at you records, I would've never known that you were a girl. The most masculine sounds came from under that mask." Helen said, smiling evilly.

"That was the point..." Keira said quietly.

"I guess that you could say it's a bad habit. And I have been a bit rude to you. It's just a trust issue, I suppose. But that's in the past. My apologies, but you weren't helping me much." I was shocked. Honestly, I thought this whole thing would end in more hatred.

"I accept your apology. If that's what your trying to do."

"I'm glad. Me against nine trained killers aren't the best odds over such a small matter. You may leave, prepare for tomorrow's battle if you will. But I have something for you." Helen reached into one of her many drawers and pulled out a heavy, purple, silk material in a plastic cover. "Sometimes, keeping secrets can be a good thing." Keira seemed confused, until she realized what it was.

"Oh thank you! I've always wanted-"

"Have a nice day!" She waved us off, not wanting to talk any longer.

Keira smiled widely. She knew, that she had won.

The trip back was full of victory. Heavy lifted up Keira in a parade style, like she had just made the winning goal in a sports game.

"We did it!" She said excitedly.

"All is well, mein friend. But I suggest zhat we get going quickly." Spy said, spitting out his cigar. There was a clap of thunder, and rain clouds settled in. Before it started to rain, we ran back to the base, covering our heads along the way. Once we were back in the main room, Keira observed the little "gift" she received once again.

"What' cha got there, Keira?" I asked casually.

"It's a surprise! I'm sure you'll love it." I'm pretty sure that me and her had different versions of a "surprise" if it involved clothing. She ran downstairs.

"Seems like the girl is havin' good times again," Demo said, laying down on the couch.

"Is good to be happy, right doctor?" Heavy said.

"Most definitely." Medic answered, falling asleep on his lap. I heard wild footsteps.

"Scout! Come look!" Keira said excitedly. I walked faster than I normally would, following her into a room I'd never seen before.

"Have you ever heard of an aerial silk?" She asked, taking off her jacket to reveal a black leotard.

"I think so..." I said.

"It's like sticky jumping and never coming down! It's so much fun. I'm glad Helen knew that I was into gymnastics." I flash backed earlier to when she regularly wore her suit, and how she did all of those flips in the old gym.

She started by wrapping herself up to the top, then doing some flips while descending herself down. It was amazing!

"How can you stabilize yourself like that?" I asked dreamily.

"I have good upper body strength, so it's easy to balance!" Her body spun freely, and I could see her concentration was on point.

"Now watch this!" She made her way to the top, and spiraled down like a tornado. At first, I thought she was going to hit her head on the wood floor, but she stopped just inches away from a crushed skull. The silk wrapped around her feet, nice and secure.

"Now that, was awesome." I said, walking over to her. She rolled out of the tangles and landed back on her feet.

"It's really relaxing, too."

"Glad I didn't have'ta call Medic." I said, laughing.

"It's all in the muscle!" She spoke, handing me her arm so I could observe. Once she wasn't looking, I ambushed her from behind to pick her up.

"Scout! Hahahaha!" She wasn't expecting that. She grabbed onto my waist from behind. We were like two small kids; laughing and playing. I put her down and went to go touch the silk that she used. There was so much, it's like you could make a fort out of it. I wrapped myself in it like a cocoon, and she came up and tackled me playfully, causing all of the silk to fall. We were buried in a nest of material, but I liked it.

"It's okay, I can fix it later." She said happily. We both laid on our backs, resting peacefully.

"I can't believe I actually got Helen to say sorry," she said.

"Looks like the old fart does have a soul." I said, laughing at my own comment. I was building up confidence to tell her the corniest, weirdest joke ever, but hopefully I'd get lucky. I didn't want to rush into the romance too quickly, but I wasn't the greatest Casanova. As much as I hate to admit it, that would be Spy.

"So...what nationality are you?" I asked her, moving some of the silk out of the way and standing up.

"I'm mixed between French and Australian, but I'm mostly Italian. An Italian without an accent, that is. And I speak Japanese!" A foreign girl! Just what I was hoping for. Here we go...I'm gonna kill Sniper if this doesn't work.

"Have you ever heard of an Australian kiss?"

"No, why?" Oh crap, crappity, crap...

"It's like a French kiss...but down under." I bit my lip and waited for a response. One she realized what it meant, she burst into hardcore laughter.

"Scout, I can't get pregnant if I have to fight on a daily basis!" I still didn't think she got it, but close enough. I started to laugh the blushes away.

She gently pulled me closer by my collar for a new kind of kiss that I hadn't learned yet. Her lips touched mine as she wrapped her hands around my neck and squeezed it lightly. I had another flashback to the first time we did this. I think she whispered my name, but it could've been my imagination. She pressed her chest up against mine, and I grasped her tighter. My hand made its way to the back of her leotard, and explored the back. I bit her bottom lip and felt the heat on her face. She grabbed the front of my belt with one hand and undid it with her slender fingers. I wasn't expecting that. Keira slid it out of the loops and threw it on the ground rather aggressively. She undid the button and the zipper and pulled my pants down slightly, like I was sagging. We moved towards a wall, where I pinned her gently as we continued.

"Scout, if we get caught-"

"-then it's my fault." I finished.

She slid down the wall, so I went down too. We both stopped to catch our breaths, and sat down. She took her position between my legs and laid on my chest.

"Scout," she said, panting.

"Uh huh?" I answered.

"You're really good," she complimented.

"I can do better." I said, getting confident.

"Oh really? I'd like to see you try." She pulled me in for one last, forced kiss, then went over to fold the silks and tossed me my belt. She said something in Japanese that I didn't quite understand, but I swore to look it up later.

I left the room, red in my face and lovestruck in my eyes. We were just past halfway through the day and it was already getting interesting. I almost got ran over by Medic and Heavy in the hallway as he wheeled a cart full of strange lookin' liquids.

"Excuse me! I must experiment!" He said excitedly. I decided to follow him to his office to see what he was up to.

"Yo doc," I said, "what's all that mess you got there?"

"These are ze ingredients zhat I will use on you eight! It is not quite ready yet, but I will conduct a test run soon. Most likely after a battle. I am a man of science!" He pushed the cart into the lab, Heavy following him. I went elsewhere.

"Scout! C'mere for a sec, I need to show ya something!" Engie called. I went over to him to see what was so important.

"Remember that Pyrobot I showed you a few months ago that Keira got so worked up over?" I nodded.

"I think there are more where that came from, and I'm not sure whether they're good or bad." He pulled me into his room and motioned towards a telescope. I looked through, feeling like Sniper, and spotted a giant space-like machine behind the far away mountain. I recognized it as the border between the battle lands and the regular towns.

"I've seen it before. That's where Grey Mann is holding 'em. We gotta do something about it!" He said, slightly panicked.

"Aye, don't get your sentries in a bunch. I gotta solution. SNIPES!" I yelled. I heard angry footsteps and the sound of a rifle reloading.

"What in the bloody-" he stopped as he saw the telescope and Engineer's worried face.

"They're back aren't they?" He said, his face emotionless.

"I wouldn't doubt it." I said. Sniper pulled on the emergency handle that would gather everyone in Engineer's room. There was one in each of our rooms, and the sound would indicate who's room to meet in.

"If they're back then...we can't do the brackets, can we?"

"There's only one way to find out." As soon as the other members of the team started flowing in, he picked up the phone and dialed the Administrator and the head of all the other teams.

Fighting against each other would have to wait. Now, we needed to come together if we wanted to fight ever again.

I don't think I'm going to do lime for awhile. I obviously need to read other fanfics to see how their style is, and try to come up with my own. My first attempt at this chapter was better, so I hope I don't accidentally delete it again 0_0 R and R.
