Light frowned after seeing the tapes that a fake Kira had sent to the broadcasting station.
'So there's a second kira...this isn't good for my plans...' He thought wondering the other kira's identity.
He was at the hotel where L was currently at, and he and the others had just seen their own 'fake' message get sent to the second Kira and were waiting for a reply.
"This is quite interesting." Ryuk said with a grin.
Light didn't reply as that would have gotten L to question him who he's talking to, and that's when the screen changed to Kira's name, meaning the reply was here.
"Well, what is his answer?" Light asked curious.
"It seems he's going to stop killing innocent civilians, but he wishes to meet with the real Kira." spoke L.
Light was actually surprised upon hearing that.
'Either he wants to kill me, or possibly is doing all this for my sake.' thought Light.
"But will the real Kira even care?" Asked one of the detectives.
"Yes. The real Kira kills criminals that have done horrible crimes. He doesn't target innocent people." replied L.
Light inwardly smiled at what L said because while Light wanted to be a god, he wanted to do so to protect the innocent from disgusting criminals.
"We need to try and see if we can catch the two of them when they meet." spoke L.
Everyone nodded as they listened to L's plan with Light thinking on how to counter said plan.
Eventually Light made his way home, content with his plan to find the fake Kira.
But the moment he opened the door..."ONII-CHAN!" Light gasped as his sister hugged him!
"Sayu, what are you doing?" asked Light as he had gotten home rather late and she should have been in bed.
"Just waiting for you, Onii-chan~!" She answered.
Light noticed away that something was different about Sayu. She usually wasn't this bubbly, at least not around him and merely watched as she skipped to her bedroom.
'Strange...' He thought, but quickly dismissed it as he went to his room to prepare to meet the fake Kira.
He entered his room and spotted a tape on his bed. He picked it up, and was shocked to see it had Kira's name on it!
"What...is this?!" He asked himself.
He was stunned. Was this from the fake Kira? And if so, how did he uncover his identity quick enough to know where he lived and drop off this tape? Wouldn't it have been better to wait here and attack him when he wasn't looking.
'Could this be...a trap?' He thought warily.
He took the tape and popped it into the tv as he sat back and watched it start.
"Hello there, Kira-sama..." Said the distorted voice of the fake Kira, "First let me say that it is an honor to be telling this to you. And don't worry about the security cameras and microphones around your house, since I made sure to dispose of them for you..."
Light was gobsmacked. This fake Kira did all that and not get noticed? Impressive, even for him.
"If you ask how I didn't get noticed...well, you can thank the fact that the lights went out for a short period of time..." Said the distorted voice.
Light focused on the tape as the fake Kira gave him a set of coordinates. After writing them down, the tape told him to destroy the tape so they couldn't be followed.
Light did as told as soon as the message finished, and soon thought before falling asleep, 'This might be interesting...'
(Next day)
Light was waiting in front of the entrance to an amusement park he had come here before on a fake date as the coordinates were this exact spot.
"Hmmm...Where should the second Kira be at?" Light asked himself as he remembered how thanks to that date excuse he was able to avoid going with L and the others to the fake spot.
He heard something coming towards him, footsteps, and turned as his gut was telling him this was the fake Kira.
But when he saw who was behind him, he froze up in shock, unable to say anything because...
"Onii-chan!" called Sayu as she jumped and wrapped her arms around her brother's waist.
"S-S-SAYU?!" Gasped Light in disbelieve as Ryuk near him laughed, "W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
"I saw you here and wanted to join you." smiled Sayu.
"E-eh..." Light tried to say something, anything, so that his sister wouldn't be caught by the fake Kira.
"Oh, or could it be..." Sayu stood up on her tip toes to reach his ear and whispered, "...that you're waiting for the fake?"
Needless to say, the look on Light's face was PRICELESS. He couldn't say a single word as his thoughts were in chaos.
Ryuk meanwhile was laughing his own ass off, loving the chaos before him unaware of the shinigami that was nearing him.
"Sayu...are you...?" Light finally managed to say.
As a response, she grinned as she showed him her own death note!
Light stared at it in horror as Sayu held onto his arm. "Now I'm just like Onii-chan."
"B-B-BUT HOW?!" He gasped.
"That would be because of me." spoke another voice. Light looked down and realized he touched Sayu's Death Note, meaning he could now see and hear her shinigami.
The shinigami near Sayu looked like a female Ryuk with longer white hair and white gothic suit.
"Who are you?" asked Light with as much strength as he could.
"You may call me Rum." She answered.
"She gave me this!" grinned Sayu.
"How did you meet?" Light asked with narrowed eyes.
"I gave it to her when I sensed a great darkness in her. Normally shinigami don't care for the human world, but I think she could use it quite nicely." spoke Rum.
"Welcome to the club!" Ryuk said with a laugh.
"No! Absolutely not! Sayu, give me that book." frowned Light holding out his hand.
"Only if you give me yours~!" She answered with a smile.
Light frowned as Sayu kept up her innocent smile. "Why did you want us to meet here?"
"Oh, for three reasons~!" She began. "One; To avoid being caught by the detectives."
'Good point. To anyone watching, this would just look like I'm watching over my sister.' thought Light.
"Two: To discuss our identities as the two Kiras." She continued.
That second one was self explanatory as they already knew each others identities now.
"And third: I wanted to spend time with my big brother~!" She finished.
Light was confused as to why she was suddenly so affectionate with him, but knew this could either be good or bad for him.
'If I'm lucky, I can use this to my favor.' He thought,
"Come on!" she smiled as she dragged him into the amusement park.
Light sighed before following his sister's lead.
Light and Sayu spent the whole day going on rides and enjoying food, all the while Sayu kept an innocent smile while thinking this was a true date.
Light himself felt happy despite the situation he was in alongside his sibling.
'I hate to admit it, but this isn't so bad. Sayu and I never really hated each other, so the chances of her trying to kill me are extremely low.' he thought to himself as they were sitting at a bench and enjoying their food.
"So, how was the date Onii-chan~?" Sayu asked.
"Not bad. Better than I thought it would be." admitted Light.
"That's greeeat~!" Sayu said with a cheer.
As Light took a bite of his hot dog, his eyes followed a rather cute looking girl, which Sayu took notice of.
Sayu's eyes narrowed darkly as she felt like killing the harlot with her death note. She pulled her death note out of her bag, something Light noticed and saw him glare at the girl that just passed them.
Sayu upon seeing that, calmed down and put it away.
"Listen, Sayu. I don't want you to kill any innocent people, even if they're girls I briefly look at." spoke Light.
Sayu narrowed her eyes before sighing and nodding, hoping to make her beloved brother happy. "Fine, but Onii-chan needs to give me something." smiled Sayu.
"Which is?" Light asked curious.
"A kiss." Sayu closed her eyes and puckered her lips out towards him.
Light's mind crashed down as he could only think 'W-what...?!'
Sayu opened one of her eyes and frowned at seeing Light hesitate. "Fine then. If you can't kiss me, I'll make sure no other hussy can take you." growled Sayu grabbing a pen as she opened her death note.
Light quickly recovered and panicked upon seeing what was going to happen.
"Seems like you better pucker up or girls will really be falling at your feet." chuckled Ryuk as Light grabbed her hand before she could touch the pen onto the paper.
"Now what, Onii-chan?" Sayu asked darkly.
Light stared Sayu straight in the eye before lowering his face and pressing his lips against hers.
Sayu's eyes widened before she let herself get lost in the kiss.
Light fet her drop the pen and wrap her arms around his neck as he held her close to his body.
Eventually they had to separate from the lack of air with blushes on their faces.
"Like that?" asked Light.
"Y-yeah~..." She said happy.
Light smiled and held Sayu's hand as it was growing late and they began their trip back home.
"By the way Sayu," Light began, "Where did you send L and the others?"
"I made the fake meeting spot a girls restroom." grinned the young girl.
Light could barely held his laughter upon hearing that,
Soon they made it to their home and headed inside where their mother was sitting on the couch and saw them come in.
"Light, Sayu, where were you?" She asked curious.
"Onii-chan took me out on a date!" cheered Sayu with a smile.
Their mother was surprised before she smiled and said, "Alright then, as long as nothing bad happened."
Both of them nodded as Sayu pulled Light down and kissed him on the cheek.
Light surprisingly blushed at that while Sayu giggled.
"Just remember, don't go cheating on me with any other girls. Otherwise I'll have to end them." smiled Sayu through the whole promise before placing a chaste kiss on his lips and walking back to her room.
Light shivered upon hearing that as Ryuk giggled darkly in amusement.
"She's a little firecracker, isn't she?"
"You could say that again." He finished with a sigh.

We can see right now a more mature Light working on some documents in the police office with Ryuk nearby.
After learning of Sayu being the second Kira, things had taken a drastic change for both of them.
With her support, Light designed a plan that would allow not only him to become the new god of the world, but also keep the legacy of Kira alive.
Sayu had convinced their father that Light had what it took to keep watch over the police force and for him to retire.
After that, Light made sure that L wouldn't have any required evidence to catch him or his sister as Kira.
They still attempted to find 'Kira', but they always seemed to lose evidence. I wonder why.
That, and it didn't help the fact that L was spending more time with his new girlfriend Misa.
Sayu had also joined the police force and became Light's secretary.
But unofficially they all but became a couple.
Light was finishing up the form when he felt two arms wrap around him from behind.
"Guess who~?" A familiar female voice asked.
"Sayu, you know we need to keep it quiet about our relationship." sighed Light.
"Awww, I know that, but right now..." She then grinned seductively. "Were all alone~"
Light looked around and realized Sayu was right. Before he could protest, she jumped onto his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck.
Light sighed before he smiled and gave in as he kissed his sister, who returned the kiss with equal passion.
"Looks like we'll be stuck here for a while." chuckled Ryuk as Rum was floating next to him.
"True, but that doesn't mean that we can't...have our own fun~!" She answered with a grin.
Ryuk actually blushed as the camera panned away from them to give them some privacy.
