Chapter 13: Operation: C.R.O.S.S.W.O.R.L.D.S.
A pair of binoculars was observing a flock of pigeons carrying a furnace that was glowing blue. Four penguins in the central park zoo were the ones who were watching the pigeons.
"What does it look like Kowalski?" Skipper said
"Unknown Skipper" Kowalski said "It seems to have a high power level and all the pigeons in central park have created an alliance to carry it towards us"
"How much time till its overhead?" Skipper said.
Kowalski put down the binoculars and said "just about before I finish this sent…" Kowalski was then crushed by the furnace and one of the pigeons flew in front of the penguins.
"No time to explain" the pigeon said "what's inside the box in this furnace is some kind of super powered emerald, guard it with your life!" the Pigeon flew off as Kowalski climbed out from under the furnace.
"How do we get the box out Skipper?" Private said.
"Rico" Skipper said "pick that lock" Rico nodded and coughed up a paperclip. Rico then used it to pick the lock on the furnace. He opened the Furnace and took out the box.
"Skipper, how can we be sure this isn't a trap" Kowalski said
"the Pigeon said it was an emerald" Private said
"Use your melon Private" Skipper said "we've been tricked before, now I have a way to make sure this is really an emerald" The Box was thrown into the lemur habitat.
"Look" king Julien said "A present from the Sky Spirits, let's see what they sent" he opened the box and pulled out a blue emerald.
"Ooh Sparkly" king Julien said. Suddenly a plunger grabbed the emerald and the penguins took it back to their habitat.
"Thanks for the inspection ring-tail" Skipper said
"hey" king Julien said "give me back the sparkly thing!"
"Don't worry" Skipper said "you can have the box"
"what are we supposed to do with a cardboard box?" Maurice said.
King Julien then drew a face on the box and said "His name is card-Bores, and he will protect the king from all who annoys him"
"really" Mort said "wow how he does…"
"Nom" King julien said as he put the box over mort.
Outside the zoo, a portal opened and Sonic, Bloom, Roxy, Techna, Stella, Jazzy, Dylan, Lisha, Danny, Sam, Amy, Spongebob, Patrick, the Rabbids, Cream, Jimmy, Sheen, Aseefa, Rouge, Otis, Abby, and Shadow walked through.
"Anybody see the Chaos emerald anywhere?" Sam said
"the scanners say that the emerald is in the zoo" Jimmy said
"wow" Patrick said "I didn't know scanners could talk"
"Patrick, I don't mean any offense but where were you when brains were passed around" Abby said
"Probably under my rock like usual" Patrick said.
"Guys, did Eggman upgrade his Eggmobile?" Bloom said. The Heroes looked up to see the Eggmobile with six chambers on the bottom fly over their heads.
"This can't be good" Shadow said.
"Hey Egghead!" Sonic said as he dashed for the Eggmobile. It stopped and started to rotate. "Looks like it's time for another lesson" Sonic said. But when the eggmobile landed, Plankton, Surge and Shadow Plant Sam were inside.
"Who are you calling Egghead?" Plankton said. When the other heroes reached Sonic, Sam couldn't believe what she saw.
"Is that… Me?" Sam said.
"well it's a shadow version of the plant you" Otis said "but, you were close"
"Where's Eggman?" Cream said
"Sorry, he's on a different mission, Finding the one you call Clawdeen Wolf" Surge said
"He found out where Clawdeen is?" Spongebob said
"Sort of, the Trackers are iffy since Surge came around" Plankton said
"Plant Sam, put Plankton in a flower before I lose my temper!" Surge said. the Shadow then nodded and made a flower that swallowed Plankton. Surge then turned to look at Shadow and He instantly went from 'controllable' to 'rage'.
"Well, well, well" Surge said "If it isn't Shadow the Hedgehog, after all these years"
"You know me?" Shadow said "don't tell me you forgot what you did to me in the rift of time" Surge said
"I've had enough of you!" Shadow said as he held up the red Chaos emerald, which had disconnected from Musa "Chaos Blast" Just when the Chaos blast had reached Surge he contained it into an orb and put it in the flower Plankton was stuck in.
"16 years and you're still so predictable" Surge said.
Plankton then climbed out of the Flower looking burnt and said "did you order original recipe or extra crispy?"
"I ordered mine raw" Patrick said
"Who are you friends in the capsules?" Amy said as she held up her hammer.
"Friends" Plankton said "what are in these capsules are nobody's friends, tell me Sonic, Do you Recall the Deadly Six?" Plankton then tried to push a button down, but it wouldn't budge.
"Just a second" Plankton said. Then he started to jump on the button as hard as he could. Owen then looked at his watch and waited for plankton to push the button. Surge then slammed the button with Plankton on it.
"Ouch" Plankton said as one of the capsules hummed to life. The lights turned red, and the capsule opened. Then a red creature walked out, one who Sonic thought he'd never see again.
"Hello, Sonic" the red creature said "good to see you again"
"Zavok!" Sonic said
"That's impossible" Amy said
"You know this thing?" Techna said
"He's part of the deadly six" Sonic said "Who tried to drain mobius of all its energy"
"before you destroyed me" Zavok said "or so you thought, now it's time for my revenge!" Zavok then created a blast of fire which threw the group against the trees.
"I don't remember him being able to do that" Sonic said.
"I've added a few new powers when he was in the capsule" Surge said. Zavok the set his hands on fire and charged at the rabbids.
"Fire" Ron said "I'll put it out!" Ron then pulled out a high pressured water cannon and blasted Zavok with it. Zavok then lifted a rock and threw it at the group. It hit a tree and it was falling to the ground before it grew vines, much to Zavok's surprise. Then Jazzy made the tree whack Zavok like a golf ball into the eggmobile.
"Don't get too comfortable" Surge said
"We've already found the villain of this world" Plankton said "we'll be back!" the eggmobile then flew away.
"We need to find that chaos emerald ASAP" Bloom said
"Let's go check that Zoo" Otis said.
The heroes were walking past the Lemur habitat. Cream and the Rabbids were in the back.
"Stewart, can I ask you something" Cream said
"Sure" Stewart said
"You've been acting really weird around me" Cream said "Do you like me?"
"Yeah" Stewart said "we're friends"
"no" Cream said "I meant do you really like me?"
"you mean like a crush?" Stewart said
"yeah" Cream said as she blushed. Stewart then began to chuckle nervously.
"Hey bunny lady" A voice said from above them all. The looked to see a Lemur, wearing a crown, looking at cream.
"Why don't you drop that thing" King Julien said "and get with the king"
"what did you just say?" Stewart said a little agitated.
"no not you, I was talking to the bunny lady" King Julien said "You hear me talking with those bunny ears… bunny lady?" Cream started to back away from being uncomfortable as Maurice climbed beside King Julien.
"Are you sure you wanna be doing that, Julien?"
"No it is okay, because she is attractive, and I am wooing her" King julien said "here watch this, hey bunny lady, was your mama a fighter pilot, because when she had you, she dropped a bomb, here's another one, Hey Bunny Lady, does your face hurt? Cause its killing me"
"How many lemurs are in that habitat" Stewart said
"I counted three" Ron said as he looked over the wall "why?" Stewart then shot a plunger at the lemurs.
Then Stewart pulled out more plungers and said "THREE LEMURS GONNA DIE TONIGHT!" Stewart then jumped over the wall and aimed the plunger gun at the lemurs.
"Not the face" King Julien said "Please, spare my money maker"
"give me one good reason to have mercy on you" Stewart said
"Because you are pathetic" King Julien said
"No one calls me pathetic, you think you're so great?" Stewart said
"I am the most fabulous of kings" King Julien said
"that's it" Stewart said "You want a fight?"
"Come at me bro" King julien said. The Two then entered a RAP BATTLE!
King Julien: You think you are tough, but no, you're not, you're the frozen one and I'm steaming hot, you are a rat, who is too shady, now watch as I run with the bunny lady
Stweart: holy scrap, oh my god, look who's here, it's some ring tailed monkey deer, think you're the king? Think your top mutt? Well jungle racoon, kiss my butt…. Kiss my butt
Owen: Swag
Stewart: oh yeah
Owen: Swag
Stewart: I am the master
Owen: Swag
Stewart: I have got it
Owen: Swag
Stewart: so learn from me
Owen: Swag
Stewart: or else you get hit
Owen then started to repeat "Swag" for a minute.
"Okay" Stewart said "I think he gets the point"
"Stewart" Roxy said as she and Cream jumped over the wall "can you stop having a rap battle with the animals?"
"Sorry" Stewart said "I was just being protective"
"That means you're special to him cream" Ron said "a rabbid only becomes protective if he has a love interest"
"so you do like me" Cream said. Stewart then chuckled nervously and blushed.
"I hate to break up this episode of the young and the restless" Roxy said "but we have to find that Chaos emerald"
"Chaos emerald?" King Julien said "Is that the Sparkly that was taken from me?"
"Taken?" Ron said "By whom"
"the penguins that live in the Habitat next to us" Maurice said
"let's go get it!" Roxy said. The heroes then left and King Julien took interest.
"did you hear that Maurice" King Julien said "they are going to get the Sparkly thing back from the Penguins, let us go to get this Emerald of Chaos"
"your highness if I may interject" Maurice said
"No Maurice" King Julien said "No interwetting"
"I like going to get sparkly things" Mort said
"Julien" Maurice said
"what is it" King Julien said
"exactly" Maurice said in fear as he pointed to a creature that was casting a shadow "what's that?"
In the Penguin's lair, Kowalski had the Chaos emerald in an Energy scanner as he was doing calculations.
"Kowalski" Skipper said "give me the energy levels on that thing"
"these readings are off the charts" Kowalski said
"well get bigger charts" Skipper said "take it out of our TV funds"
"that's not what I mean Skipper" Kowalski said " These energy readings are too high to count!"
"Over 9000?" Rico said in his weird language.
"Strange enough, you're completely accurate Rico" Kowalski said
"are there any more of these things?" Skipper said
"Data shows there are 6 others" Kowalski said "and if the wrong person collects all 7, they will be unstoppable"
"well it's a good thing we don't have to worry about any power hungry villains" Skipper said
"yeah" Private said "unless Dr. Blowhole gets his memory back"
"what?" Skipper said
"I'm only saying there could be a way for Dr. Blowhole to have his memory restored by other power hungry villains so they can get all those weird emerald things" Private said. Then the other penguins started to laugh
"Private that is so…" Kowalski said as he thought about it "…so…"
"…so…" Skipper said as he thought about it "…so…"
"…so…" Kowalski said as he started to get scared "…so…"
"SO TOTALLY OBVIOUS!" Skipper yelled "GET THE ARTILLARY!" An alarm started to go off and a wall of weapons rotated.
Skipper grabbed a Rocket launcher and said "I just heard someone up there, I'm going in!" Skipper then grabbed the ladder but jumped off.
"I can't do it" Skipper said "I mean what if that's really him and he comes down with some kind of weapon"
"yeah" Kowalski said "Like, a disintegration ray"
"exactly" Skipper said "and now his vendetta is bigger because we wiped his memory clean, I can't do it"
"oh come on!" Private said as he climbed up the ladder and opened the hatch. Private jumped down and said "see, Dr. Blowhole isn't back!" the other penguins began to chuckle in relief.
"That's a relief" Skipper said. Suddenly Spongebob fell through the hatch and looked at the penguins.
"Hello" Spongebob said. The penguins then screamed.
"Rico Shoot that thing!" Skipper said. Rico then coughed up a Dynamite blaster and shot it at Spongebob. However the Dynamite bounced off Spongebob and exploded near the Penguins.
Spongebob laughed and said "that tickles"
"More Kablamo" Rico said in his language as he load 50 pieces of dynamite into the launcher. The other penguins tried to stop him but he fired the dynamite, and it bounced off Spongebob and went all over the place. Thankfully no one was hurt.
Spongebob continued to laugh and said "stop, I'm gonna pee"
"You know, Rico" Skipper said "there is such a thing as too much Dynamite!"
"Spongebob" Bloom said as she dropped down into the lair "are you okay?"
"Skipper" Private said "there's a human in the lair, and she can actually fit"
"I can explain" Bloom said
"no need" Skipper said "your all friends here"
"Skipper, are you sure that's wise?" Kowalski said
"I'm always sure Kowalski" Skipper said "Anyone who's friends with a creature that can survive being shot at with dynamite is A-Okay in my book"
"Then come up to the top and we'll explain" Bloom said
On the top, the heroes explained what happened so far.
"And that's what happened" Dylan said.
"So string theory was cracked, a god of Darkness thought to be lost in time has returned, and my hypothesis of there being 7 chaos emeralds is correct" Kowalski said
"pretty much" Jimmy said
"oh my god, the boundaries of scientific discoveries has been broken!" Kowalski said "are you as stoked with this as I am?" all the others stood quiet before a scream broke silence.
"that sounded like it came from the lemur habitat" Private said
"I'll see what the fuss is about" Spongebob said as he jumped over the fence and into the habitat
"sea sponge, get back here" Skipper said as the penguins went to the habitat. When they got there, an elephant-like robot was attacking.
"That's a big pack of derm" Spongebob said, and then he laughed at his own pun. The robot then stomped on him and flattened him like a pancake.
"Sweet collateral damage!" Skipper said "he's been flattened into a carpet"
"well at least if I'm trampled It'll be redundant" Spongebob said
"oh" Skipper said "so this isn't a bad day for you really, is it?" The robot the started to fire missiles before a wall of water washed them away.
"Guys" Dylan said "that robot has to lead us to where the villain is"
"We have to get to the top then" Aseefa said.
"Fire Fairy" Skipper said "get Private to the top"
"I'm on it" Bloom said as she carried Private to the top of the robot.
"Private" Skipper said "steer this thing to its maker!"
"But Skipper" Private said "how do you steer an elephant?"
"ah the old riddle" Kowalski said "does one truly steer the elephant or does the-" Kowalski was kicked away and Private was thrown off by the robot.
"Hey Rico" Sheen said "can I have some dynamite?"
"Okay" Rico said as he coughed up a stick of dynamite. Sheen then threw the Stick of dynamite at the robot.
"Raining robot parts on 96-0, making it rain as I play with my hoe" Sheen said
"I'm going to murder the wiggles now" Lisha said
"now how are we going to find the guy behind this?" Otis said
"don't worry" Skipper said "Kowalski analyze the remains" Kowalski then picked up a piece of the remains and licked it.
"It tastes like Sea water, roller coaster grease, and a chilly dog" Kowalski said "with mustard"
"Coney Island!" Skipper said
"that would make sense" Techna said "Anyone with level 5 computer knowledge could figure out how to make one of their roller coasters into a terminator"
"then let's go" Spongebob said
In a secret underground lab right below Coney Island, the Heroes burst through the ceiling and fell on the floor.
"so that's why you need to know how to fly a jetpack" Abby said.
"does it seem, too quiet in here to you guys?" Danny asked
"get ready everyone" Rouge said "I think we should be expecting company" Suddenly the water in the pool behind the heroes started to splash and a dolphin with a cyborg eye rose out.
"Dr. Blowhole" Skipper said
"Well, Penguins" Dr. Blowhole said
"Well, Well, Blowhole, it's been a long time" Skipper said
"Well, Well, Well, too long" Dr. Blowhole said
"well, well, well, well…" Skipper said
"Enough" Dr. Blowhole said as he drove out of the pool.
"Alright Blowhole" Bloom said "why are you attacking the zoo?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Dr. Blowhole said "I have made an alliance with Eggman just like the other villains you've encountered"
"so you're after the chaos emeralds" Sonic said "well newsflash all the other villains have failed, what makes you think you'll have any better luck"
"I'm glad you asked" Dr. Blowhole said as a screen rose from the floor "What do you think this is?" A picture of a lobster then appeared on the screen.
"Delicious with a side of butter" Techna said "your point?"
"true this may look like an ordinary lobster" Dr. Blowhole said "but imagine if it was 200 feet tall, had four claws and its entire shell was composed of shiny metal, this is an upgrade I like to call" Dr. Blowhole then pushed a button to activate the subwoofer
"Chrome Claw 2.0" the subwoofer said as something came up behind the heroes. They turned to see a giant lobster that replicated Dr. Blowhole's description.
"Wow" Skipper said "you really did upgrade that monster"
"yes and I'm quite happy with the results" Dr. Blowhole said "now Chrome Claw 2.0, Attack!" the Robot Lobster then roared and slammed his claw down. Bloom flew up and started punching Chrome Claw 2.0 in the face.
"I can't believe I'm actually fighting a fish" Bloom said as she kept punching. Chrome Claw 2.0 then grabbed Bloom and threw her onto the ground, right on top of Kowalski and Skipper.
"Technically he's a crustacean" Kowalski said. Dylan then grabbed Chrome Claw 2.0 by the tail.
"You want to know what the kicker is" Dylan said "I've always hated Shellfish" Dylan then threw Chrome Claw 2. Into the ceiling and a piece of the roller coaster fell right in front of Jimmy, Techna, and the Rabbids.
"Hey" Owen said "that roller coaster is property of Coney Island, show some respect"
"wait a second" Jimmy said as he tried to concentrate "Think, think, think" Then Images of Jimmy's memory started to float around in his head.
"Anyone with level 5 computer knowledge could figure out how to make one of their roller coasters into a terminator" Techna's voice said in Jimmy's head.
Then all the flashbacks ended and Jimmy said "Brain blast, Kowalski, we need your help!"
"What for" Kowalski said
"Remember what Techna said at the lemur habitat?"
"Wait I see what you're getting at" Techna said "If we use this roller coaster..."
"We can create a robot capable of destroying Chrome Claw 2.0!" Kowalski said
"exactly" Jimmy said "guys, keep this thing busy"
"What do you think I'm doing back here, flirting with its tail?" Dylan said as he grabbed the robot's tail. The robot then started to thrash him around like a rag doll until he crashed into a wall. Spongebob then used his spatula to fling him to the robot's eye and he karate chopped it. Once the eye was broken the robot screamed in pain and Grabbed Spongebob by the pants. It then flung him into Otis and Abby.
"It's ready" Techna said as she activated the Tarantula terminator. The small machine then climbed to the top of Chrome Claw 2.0. Once on the head, the Tarantula Terminator drilled into Chrome Claw 2.0's head. Then the Giant robot began to spark out of control.
"NO!" Dr. Blowhole said as the robots began to fall to the ground. Then one of Chrome Claw 2.0's arms flung Dr. Blowhole back into the pool.
"Nice work everyone" Skipper said. Then Penguins then did their signature high five. Suddenly Dr. Blowhole rose out of the pool in a pod.
"This is not the last you will see of the syndicate" Dr. Blowhole said "we shall return!" Dr. Blowhole then laughed maniacally and flew out the hole in the ceiling.
"You'd think we realize that they run away every time we defeat them" Danny said
"They just go to think of a new plan" Sonic said "but nothing ever works"
"Either way" Shadow said as he sipped through the rubble of Chrome Claw 2.0 "we have what we came for, let's get back"
"wait" a voice said as a portal opened up. Jay then came into the room with a photo.
"We figured out the next clue in the base" Jay said "the puzzle we found had a picture of a penguin"
"what are you looking for?" Private said
"It's sort of a piece of glowing stone" Spongebob said
"I got it" Rico said as he coughed up a piece of the orb along with and amulet.
"sweet" Jay said as he picked up the stone and amulet
"let's see what the next puzzle is" Jay looked at the amulet and his eyes showed a confused look.
"What is it?" Aseefa said
"a question mark" Jay said as he showed the group the other side of the amulet.
"How are we going to solve that one?" Otis said
"what's this all about?" Private said
"We can explain if you want to help us take down the syndicate" Lisha said
"Count us in music master" Skipper said.
"speaking of which" Kowalski said "Sam, you were telling us about your plant powers, what would you say if I could restore them"
"Is there a chance this won't either kill me or come back to bite us in the butt"
"um, let me think, no" Kowalski said
"Pass" Sam said as the heroes went through the portal. Before it closed three figures went through. Suddenly the manhole cover in the floor was lifted up and two small rats and a giant mutant rat came out.
"look at this place boss" the first rat said
"it's like a castle" the second rat said
"Your darn right" the giant rat named Miracle said "and this place will be where we plan to rule the surface, how rad is that?" Suddenly a small robot with two legs and a large mouth appeared.
"Hey you little tin can" Miracle said "get out of our new palace before we start punching you!" the little robot walked closer and opened its mouth
"how precious" A voice said from inside its mouth "a lab experiment that punches to solve problems"
"how are you doing that?" Miracle said
"the machine you are speaking to, is one created by a mutant fly I have meet named Baxter Stockman" the voice said "but what matters is how I can give you control over your city and the multiverse, if you choose to join me in a new team I call the Tyrannical Rebels In Crime, or TRIC for short"
"sounds awesome" Miracle said "me and my men are at your disposal, but who are you?"
"I am known by many names" the voice said "but you can call me, Surge"
Back at BPD Headquarters the heroes walked in and they were greeted by Ash, Frankie, Draculaura, and the Turtles.
"You made it back" Draculaura said
"you have monsters on your side?" Kowalski said
"well they're monsters" Leo said "we're mutants"
"This team is the best" Skipper said
"I'm guessing you've always wanted to work with a mutant" Frankie said
"you have no Idea" Private said
"guys, I think we forgot something!" Jazzy said "the Chaos emerald"
"nuh-uh" Rico said as he coughed up the chaos emerald.
"How does he do that?" Roxy said "that defies all the rules of nature"
"well that's why we have Rico" Skipper said "he makes his own rules" Suddenly Bloom's eyes turned all blue which made Patrick curious.
"Hey Bloom" Patrick said "why are your eyes blueberries?" Bloom didn't respond but started to walk towards the chaos emerald
"Bloom?" Jay said
"guys" Ash said "I'm glowing blue"
"I know what that means" Jay said "bloom don't you dare!" Bloom then picked up the emerald and ate it.
"What the truck Bloom?" Lisha said
"Sorry" Bloom said "I don't know what happened"
"come on" Jazzy said as she grabbed Bloom's arm "we need to get you to the power reprogramer, if that thing connects to your stomach we can't get it out!" Then Bloom and Jazzy left and then the Lemurs fell onto the rabbids.
"Oh hello neighbor" King Julien said "funny meeting you here"
"Julien?" Private said "how did he get here?" Kowalski said
"I booked a trip on the portal Express" King Julien said "I claim it as a kingly way to travel"
"I'm starting to wonder why I took this Job" Maurice said
"Listen up Lemurs" Skipper said "you're not even supposed to be in this mess in the first place"
"Which is why I'm helping you Clean it up" King Julien said as he showed he had packed lots of bags "so who will do me the honor of carrying my luggage"
"He's like a lemur version of Cleo" Draculaura whispered to Frankie
"Rico, stamp his royal highness and his friends" Skipper said "return to sender!" Rico then smiled and hung the lemurs upside-down with Duct tape.
"Alright you win" King Julien said "forget the luggage"
"Skipper" Sonic said "I don't mean to put my two cents in. but we could use all the help we can get" Skipper looked at the lemurs and sighed.
"Alright Ring-Tail" Skipper said "you and your friends are in"
"Ring-Tail?" Patrick said "I thought his name was Julien"
"It is" Spongebob said "but Ring-Tail is his code name, just like I'm Sea Sponge, and Bloom is Fire Fairy"
"but I also have bad news" Jay said "I looked in the next Dimension and I learned that the Dagger Eggman's rocket fist blew up was the dagger of dragons, we needed it, but know we can't go further in our journey after the next dimension"
"so what your saying is" Mikey said
"we're doomed" Jay said.
