"Where to first?"
Bunny jumped in surprise, staring wide-eyed at Tooth who just plopped herself at the table for breakfast. Baby Tooth trailed in, staring down at her Rubrics Cube.
"What d'ya mean?" Bunny asked. Tooth gave him a knowing look and stabbed at her eggs on the plate. Baby Tooth looked between the two teens with a small frown.
"Where are we going to find the Sea Witch?" Baby Tooth asked, furrowing her eyebrows. Bunny looked at the two sisters for a moment before turning his back to grab a map out of his pack. He moved his plate off to the side, spreading the map out.
"We followed the trail a bit a few weeks ago, and guessed where she was heading. It looked like she was heading northeast." Bunny said, pointing to the edge of where they were on the Treasure Coast. Tooth furrowed her eyebrows and scrutinized the map. She scoffed before pulling back, looking in disbelief at Bunny.
"What?" Tooth shook her head. "Where is she heading? Europe?"
"…Eh, we think so, yeah." Bunny shrugged. Tooth's eyes widened, looking between North and Bunny.
"No, we-it's impossible. It's a little over 4,000 miles from Florida to Europe and…don't tell me you think we can take a boat."
Bunny opened his mouth to say something but closed it with a small pop. Tooth raised her eyebrows with widened eyes and leaned back in her chair.
"Insane. You are all insane."
"Are we going on a cruise ship?" Baby Tooth asked. Bunny shook his head and looked at North. North gave a bright grin and scratched his jaw, which was still covered with a five o'clock shadow. He sat with them at the table and pulled out a few very old looking journals.
"These are few journals my father left behind. He believed that there were two Islands hidden in mist between what he called The Break. The meeting line of hot and cold." North pushed the journals towards Tooth. She opened to the red bookmarked page and sure enough there were ramblings in Russian and English about two islands that stood separate between the Break.
"Why are the Islands hidden?" Tooth questioned. She flipped the page to find different drawings and sketches of what North's father thought the Islands looked like.
"The Mist only opens up to anybody who is on a quest, or has a desire to find certain people on the Islands. In this case, we are on a quest." Bunny told Tooth. She glanced up, biting down on her lip.
"We're going to Europe."
"Yep."
"In a boat."
"Yes."
"Without really knowing what dangers there are and not actually really knowing who inhabit the islands?"
"…Ah, yeah."
Tooth rubbed her faces with hands before cursing a bit internally.
"I'm insane." Tooth muttered. Bunny broke into a grin and slapped North on the shoulder.
"Looks like we're in business!" Bunny exclaimed. Tooth's lips curled up in a tiny smile. Baby Tooth stared at them curiously before putting the Rubrics Cube in her bag.
"When do we leave?" Baby tooth asked.
"Eh, right about…now."
