Sorry this one took so long, I'm not really good with explaining things in an interesting way, so for me this was a real challenge.

I hope you guys like it. :)

"Death," I said, stepping back slightly. We were standing in an abandoned warehouse type room, rust covered the walls, and graffiti decorated almost every surface, including the floor. Death stood a couple yards away, leaning on his cane.

"A pleasure," Death said, looking me up and down, "not much of anything are you?"

I felt aggravation flush my cheeks and I clenched my fists.

"Now, now," Death said, "if you let that temper run wild, you'll turn demon in no time."

My anger vanished, and I blinked at him, "w-what do you mean?" I stumbled, "I thought I was an angel."

"You are," a voice said to my left, and I looked over to see Gabriel walk up from nowhere.

"Gabriel!" I cried happily, smiling.

Gabriel smiled at me, and glanced behind me at Sam, Dean and Castiel.

"Hey, boys, did you miss me?" Gabriel smirked.

"Tons," Dean said sarcastically.

"How are you even alive?" Castiel asked, in surprise.

"Oh, come on," Gabriel gave him a look, "I used to be a trickster, remember?"

I wanted to run over and hug Gabriel in relief, but I reminded myself that Death was still watching me closely.

"Yes, yes," Death said impatiently, "alright, now can we get back to the matter at hand?"

It wasn't really a question, and everyone knew it.

"Which would be?" Gabriel asked, but his eyes told me he already knew.

"The Light," Death replied, as if that explained everything.

Frustration made my tense, why didn't anyone give straight answers around here.

"But it's a myth," Castiel spoke up, frowning.

"Was a myth," Death said, his dark eyes boring into mine.

Then everyone was looking at me, except Gabriel, who was staring off to the side sadly. Aggravation bit at my tongue, why wouldn't anyone give me straight answers?

"Why won't anyone tell me anything?!" I exclaimed, hot rage firing my blood. I was just about done with this voodoo crap, if someone didn't explain in the next five minutes I was getting lethal.

"Best to show, not tell," Death said cryptically, adding my fury.

The space around us shifted and we stood in an empty field, it was night, but no moon or stars hung in the sky.

"Thanks to these three morons here," Death gestured to Sam, Dean, and Castiel, "the angel Metatron cast all the other angels out of heaven."

I wasn't really listening; I had already heard all this from Sam, and was more focused on the sky above me. Bright lights had begun to appear everywhere, like shooting stars. The lights got brighter and brighter, more appearing behind the first ones, and headed to the ground. When one was about to hit the ground, I saw that was angel, its wings on fire. The fallen angel slammed into the ground not ten feet away; making a crater twice it's size.

I heard a scream, and thought it was me, but realized, with horror, that it had come from the angel on the ground. It screamed, writhing, the fire of entry to our atmosphere still licking at its feathery wings. I felt a hot tear fall down my cheek; I hadn't realized I'd been crying; the scream made me want to kill myself. I felt its fear and pain, the confusion of falling, and the sadness of never being able to return home.

"God knew this would happen, but, as always, he prepared a fail-safe," Death continued, ignoring the angels screams, "a being with enough power to restore heaven and bring balance to the supernatural world."

"And you think that's me?" I choked, turning away from the angel.

"I know it is." Death replied coolly, "but I'm getting to that, be patient."

I wiped at my eyes, keeping my mouth shut.

"Now, this fail-safe also has a side affect," Death explained, making me look up, this couldn't be good.

"Your mother was an angel," I wasn't really shocked at that, I'd always suspected mom was hiding something, but just never pressed for answers.

"But your father was a demon." I felt my mouth drop open in utter surprise.

"What?!" I exclaimed, my father was a demon?! No way! That couldn't be, it would make me… what would that make me?

"Your parents loved each other very much," Gabriel spoke up, avoiding my gaze, "but knowing it could never work, your father sent you and your mother to another reality, where you could be safe."

My life had just been ripped apart, the father I had come to loathe was now my savior, and my mother was a mystical being from another reality, the very reality I had returned to.

"Unfortunately a being powerful enough to restore heaven is rather difficult to create," Death took over, "and therefore, there are conditions."

I looked at him, fear clutching my heart, would I have to die? Did someone else have to be killed?

"With demon and angel blood flowing through your veins," Death said, but I already knew.

"I have to chose," I cut in, not knowing if I should feel relieved or worried.

"Don't interrupt," Death said curtly, pausing.

I watched him shift positions slightly, waiting for him to say something, but after several long minutes of nothing I got bored.

"So-" I was going to say something else, but only ended up screaming.

I dropped to the ground, my body rippled with searing hot pain. My stomach pinched and I thought I was going to throw up, my chest ached, along with my head. I wished I could have passed out, but something kept me awake in agony, even as my vision darkened.

I heard Sam and Dean call to me, but I couldn't focus on it, or anything really, all I could do was scream.

No! You will never choose angel! Never! I won't let you! I will be free! Do you hear me? FREE! The voice screamed in my head, making it throb painfully.

Then it just vanished, the pain, the voice, everything. I gasped, not realizing I had been holding my breath. Relief cooled my body, and I found I was lying on my side in the warehouse.

Still panting, I managed to push myself up to a sitting position.

"There's the problem," Death said, and I looked up. He was standing right next to me, a dark look in his eyes.

"You either choose, or you die," Death didn't even blink, "you choose angel, you save the world, but if you choose demon," I knew it was coming, there was always a catch, "you destroy it."
