Hello! Now, I did say I wasn't going to upload an actual chapter until much later but there's been a slight change of plans. I just saw the new chapter for the manga and I felt compelled to write and post this update as soon as possible. I will admit, this chapter is a complete mess (like I how felt when I certain manga reveals a sudden plot twist and forces to change my general plans...). All jokes aside, this isn't my best work. The characters felt too contradictory and OOC. The way the update when did not go as smoothly as I wanted to either. However, I still hope you enjoy this update regardless of its usual quality.

Disclaimer: I do not own Nanatsu no Taizai. Just my OCs.

Enjoy!

"Brother? Brother, please, help me!" Micah cried out as the the sounds of battle drew closer to her. "I'm scared! I don't want to be here anymore!" Yet, her beloved older brother did not hear her for he was not there. How would he know where to find her since she left on her violation? Micah hiccuped and wiped at her eyes when she suddenly saw a man fall to the ground. Her eyes grew wide as a stream of blood flowed out from the large wound where his heart once was.

"What's this? A Demon child?" A Goddess soldier chuckled. "What are you doing here?" Micah gasped as she began to back away in fear but was blocked by another soldier.

"Why it's a little girl too. How delightful." The other soldier said with a sinister smirk. Soon, the child was surrounded by more Goddess soldiers. Micah began to hyperventilate, the sick laughter of the enemy blending with the cries of the battle.

"So, shall we help put her out of her misery?" Another asked as they took their blade out. Then, as they reached for her, Micah screamed out.

"NOOOOO!"

This life of mine is damned. My existence is cursed. Tell me, what is the point of living anymore?

In the Boar Hat, the air was thick in tension. Elizabeth nervously looked back and forth between the Seven Deadly Sins and Micah's allies, the two groups standing away from each other as much as possible. Diane, too enormous to fit inside the tavern, peered from inside with much disdain towards the newcomers. No one said anything as Meliodas remained with Micah outside, the young woman still trying to calm down.

"It's so suffocating in here!" Hawk whispered to the princess. Elizabeth silently agreed. Her gaze slipped towards female newcomer, Seraphina. Though the princess swore she never seen the woman before, a feeling of nostalgia and familiarity swept inside Elizabeth. Suddenly, Seraphina noticed her staring and looked the princess in the eye. Embarrassed, Elizabeth quickly looked away. Then she peeled back. A faint smile spread across Seraphina's face before it returned to its stoic expression.

"...I assume that you have no intentions of trusting us?" The darker skinned man, Zelophehad, suddenly said. King narrowed his eyes.

"Considering all that has happened so far, I'd say that's a given." He answered. "Especially so considering you've upset Micah." Immediately Zelophehad slammed his hands down on the table in front of him and bared his teeth.

"Watch your words fairy!" He growled. "You dare accuse me of hurting Sister?!" The smaller blonde woman, Elaine, shot a look at Zelophehad.

"Zelophehad, please! Do not make this situation anymore tense for them!" The fairy begged. The man glared at her before reluctantly sitting back down. Ban eyed Elaine, an unreadable expression on his face.

"Elaine, why are you with them? Why are you protecting him?" The man question. Elaine shook her head.

"Ban, my love, so much has happened. However, I cannot say for it may harm Lady Micah." She replied. King sighed.

"Elaine, you've explained what happened and I understand, but there is something I still don't get. Why and how did Micah find you? Did you not pass on to the afterlife by then?" He asked. "And who are these people you are with? I still don't understand their relationship to Micah."

"What is there that you don't understand?" Seraphina scoffed. "We are Sister's allies. Zelophehad is her and Meliodas' uncle. We are not obligated to tell you anything else." Diane fumed from outside.

"That's why you're all suspicious! Why in the world are you calling Micah your 'sister' when she's obviously not? And there's no way Captain's uncle is so young!" The giantess refuted. "Besides, this is the first time I've seen Micah so upset. What did you do to her?!" Zelophehad was quickly losing his patience.

"What do you know about her?!" The man suddenly yelled. "What do you know of her past that Meliodas did not already tell you? The circumstances of her birth that caused her so much pain?!"

"And how would you know?" Diane retorted. "It seems that you weren't even involved in Micah's life!" Zelophehad glared at her.

"Just because I was not involved with much of her life does not mean I did not pay attention to what happens to her." He answered with a growl. "As for why Seraphina and I call Micah 'Sister' is none of your concern!"

"Of course it is! Micah's one of the Sins!" Ban barked out. "We ain't going to let you near Micah, especially since the Captain doesn't even trust you!" Elizabeth watched helplessly as the situation escalated. Elaine was forced to jump in between Zelophehad and Ban as the two began to claw at each other's throats. Suddenly, the door to the tavern swung open. Everyone stopped and stared as Micah and Meliodas walked in. Micah, still a little red-eyed, sniffled as she looked towards the group.

"Elaine, Zelophehad, and Seraphina." The blonde called out quietly. "Could you please head upstairs where Eira is? I need to speak privately to the Sins." Elaine immediately did as she was told, breaking Zelophehad away from Ban and bowed to the woman before she headed upstairs. Zelophehad growled once more but went quickly followed Elaine. Seraphina sighed as she was the last to ascend the stairs. Once the three were out of view, Micah began to speak.

"I apologize for my strange behavior earlier." She apologized. "I don't know what came over me. Usually I'm used to arguments but this just...got to me." Meliodas ruffled her hair.

"Like I said before, this isn't your fault." He said. "You've just been through a lot. It's no wonder you'd break down like that." Micah's expression said otherwise but didn't press on her concerns.

"In any case, I suppose I should explain about Elaine and the others." Micah said with a sigh. "But even I don't know how much I can explain." Hawk titled his head slightly.

"Huh? Why?" He asked. "Should you know best?" Micah nervously fingered bracelet, or at least what remained of it.

"It's because I don't know how it happened." Micah confessed. "If anything is to make sense to me, I need all of your help. My memories were locked away and I still haven't managed to regain them all back." Elizabeth nodded as she had an epiphany.

"Is that why you went by the name Alice earlier? Sir Meliodas did say that you were under disguise for some reason." The princess asked. Micah nodded.

"I see you still remember the other me. When the Kingdom of Liones accused us of treason and we all went into hiding my memories were locked away and I was given a new identity as Alice. These past years I was living as a simple farm girl in a village who still supported the Seven Deadly Sins." Ban whistled loudly.

"Can't believe there still be people who support us~" He said. "Thought everyone hated us. By the way, who took your memory away?" Micah frowned as she thought how to answer.

"...I won't say who." Micah decided. "However, they did so under the pretense of a wish I had—to live as a normal girl. For awhile, I enjoyed that life. Of course, nothing normal stays when you're a Sin. Holy Knights found the village and I was transported to the Boar Hat where I met Big Brother and began to recover my real identity." King frowned as he thought.

"But, there was a period of time when you were gone." He reminded. "Captain said that he found a note from you but didn't believe you actually left on your own violation."

"Well, I suppose that's true." Micah answered truthfully. "The same person who locked my memories away found me and brought me someplace else. It was there that I mostly recovered my past as a Sin. However, that's what concerns me the most." With another sigh Micah went behind the bar and pulled up a bottle of Vanya ale. She popped of the cap and took a swig before she continued.

"The person who took my memories assured me that, when I recovers my true identity, all my memories would come back in time. However, a month or so passed and I still hadn't recovered all of them." Micah said. "So much has happened yet I don't know why. Why can't I remember my childhood? Why are there still fragments of my memories locked away? Who am I really?" As Micah began to take another drink from the bottle, Meliodas snatched it away.

"You're Micah, my little sister and one of the Sins." He said quietly. "What else is there to know?" Micah frowned she snatched the bottle back.

"Maybe for starters why I never knew we had an uncle until recently?" She retorted as the blonde took drank the ale. "Or that we had more family members?" Meliodas winced slightly as the others gaped in shock at the revelation.

"Micah, this isn't the right time to talk about this." He reprimanded. Micah narrowed her eyes at her brother.

"Fine." She relented. "But that still doesn't solve the problem of my missing memories. Brother, there's something going with me that I just can't ignore and I'm determined to figure out what." King looked thoughtful.

"Is that why you have Elaine and those two around?" The fairy asked. Micah shook her head.

"That wasn't the reason." The blonde answered. "True, staying with them might give me clues to my last but we met under special circumstances as I said before." Then Micah looked at Meliodas in the eye. "Brother, do you know about Sidero and Alethea?" The blonde could hear Sidero and Alethea screaming in her mind but she had to ask—Meliodas knew Zelophehad and Seraphina so it was possible that he knew the two women as well. Meliodas crossed his arms over his chest.

"Why do you ask?" He question. Micah heard Sidero groan.

"Damn it Micah! Zelophehad's your uncle! Isn't it obvious I'm your aunt?!" The Demoness scolded.

"That's not what I'm trying to get at Sidero." Micah shot back before answering Meliodas. "Because of Zelo and Sera of course. The reason why they call me 'Sister' is apparently because I look and act somewhat like the two." Suddenly, the windows of the tavern cracked, causing Diane to yelp and back up in a surprise. Micah could feel the rage roll off of her brother as he stood there. The rest of the Sins and even Elizabeth could tell that he was furious.

"Micah, I don't think being with them for so long is a good idea." The man quietly said. Micah furrowed her brow as she drank the last of the bottle dry.

"...I'm going to see if Eira's awake." She muttered, slamming the bottle onto the counter before heading upstairs.

"Lady Micah, wait!" Elizabeth called out. Micah paused on the stairs as she turned back to look at the princess. A worried expression was visible on her face.

"Lady Micah, if it has something to do with your past, then I may be able to shed some light." The woman quickly said.

"E-Elizabeth?" Hawk stuttered. The rest of the Sins looked perplexed as Meliodas' expression grew darker.

"Elizabeth, what do you know of my past?" Micah asked, almost begged to the princess. Elizabeth fiddled with her fingers as she explained.

"Well, it's actually has to do with what Father told me." She corrected. "Supposedly, you were very close with him. When Father went to have a discussion with you, he overheard you sing a song. I believe it went something like this..." Elizabeth began to hum quietly, filling the room with a soft melody. Immediately, tears gathered in Micah's eyes as she recognize the song. Soon, she began to sing.

"Kepepzek pe noh ot jleeminv ytilx; pc liwe ijzuh an enxlejj hkavec."

"Unhil hte xac I xkat pe lajh zkeaht, htij ayyu kjex fak jtall negek enx."

When the last of the words left her lips, Micah felt her sword hum slightly by her waist. Suddenly, Sidero and Alethea spoke.

"Micah, where did you hear this song from?" They whispered. Micah closed her eyes and held her head as a wave of dizziness hit her. A blurred imaged of a woman entered her mind, reaching for the blonde.

"W-Who?" Micah stuttered and reached out. However, the image disappeared as quickly as it came. Soon the dizzy spell passed and Micah could see and think clearly again.

"Micah, are you alright?" Hawk asked hesitantly. Micah nodded.

"Yes. But that melody...yes, there's no doubt. I've sang this before!" The blonde cheerfully said as she wiped the fallen tears away. "How could it slip my mind? This was my favorite lullaby I used to sing when I was younger!"

"Well, then I'm glad I helped!" The princess replied. "But I am curious to the lyrics—I don't think I've ever heard them before. Do you know what they mean?" Micah thought for a moment before frowning.

"No." She answered. "But maybe I'll figure it out once I figure out what the rest of the lyrics are. In the meantime, I'd better check on Eira." With that said, Micah quickly rushed upstairs. However, at the corner of her eyes, she noticed her brother's expression. Why did he look so horrified? Just as she reached out to the doorknob, the wooden door opened.

"Oh, Lady Micah." Elaine greeted. "I was just about to fetch you. It seems Eira's awake." Micah nodded as she entered the room. Zelophehad and Seraphina were together in one side of the room while Eira was sitting in the bed, smiling slightly at the blonde.

"Micah, I don't know how to thank you." The Holy Knight said. Micah shook her head as she by the bed, taking Eira's hands into her own.

"Your safety is all I care about." She answered before the woman turned somber. "But, I'm afraid I'll have to ask what happened to you." Eira's expression darkened.

"As you heard Helbram said, Hendrickson experimented on me." She replied. "Micah, I know what exactly he's trying to do!" Micah grimaced.

"Trying to revive the Demon Clan?" She asked. Eira, though shocked, nodded.

"Y-Yes. While he may have controlled my mind, I still had enough consciousness to hear of his plans." The knight explained. "Something about requiring Meliodas' broken sword and Elizabeth to free the Demons."

"What?!" Zelophehad demanded. "He can truly free my brethren?!" Seraphina shot him a look.

"In case you've forgotten, the Demons will annihilate the world! Why did you think they were sealed away in the first place?!" The Goddess hissed out. Zelophehad narrowed his eyes at her.

"As if your people even cared about the world!" He growled out.

"Enough! This is not the time for arguments!" Micah scolded. "Regardless of your beliefs, Hendrickson's plan will bring nothing but trouble. He's brought harm to innocent people and need to be stopped!" Eira grimaced as she placed a hand on her stomach.

"...That bastard. I'll never forgive him." She whispered. "To think he'd-!" Suddenly Eira doubled over in pain.

"Eira! What's wrong?!" Micah cried out. The knight groaned as white marks began to cover her skin.

"The Goddess power is acting up in her!" Seraphina exclaimed as she rushed over to Eira. "How the hell did she get Goddess blood inside her?" Zelophehad's expression darkened.

"It's like asking how those humans obtain Demonic Powers. Hendrickson is responsible!" He snarled. "That man has gone too far!" Micah nodded as she left Seraphina to care for Eira.

"Yes, but first there's something I've got to figure out. Zelo, is there anything you can tell me about my past?" She asked. Zelophehad grimaced.

"Truth be told there isn't much." He confessed. "When you-...When Sidero perished, I exiled myself away from the clan to wallow in anguish. The only reason I know of your existence is because Meliodas told me." Then, he gave a sad smile. "You know, I don't know why I never realized that you were my niece at first. Perhaps the desire to see my sister again made me believe you were her. For that I'm sorry, Micah."

"You aren't wrong you know; Sidero is inside me." Micah corrected. "But to think my brother never told me about you, I can only imagine why." The woman sighed. "However, I can't focus on that right now. Hendrickson needs to be stopped."

"Lady Micah." Elaine called out. "I don't mean to interrupt, but what of Merlin and Arthur? It seems wrong to not inform them of what happened to us right now." Micah blinked as realization dawned on her.

"Oh no! I totally forgot about Arthur!" She moaned as she face-palmed herself. "He must be worried sick! How am I going to explain to my brother that I got engaged?" Elaine winced.

"Don't worry, I'm sure he'll figure it out on his own." The fairy said. Micah eyed Elaine suspiciously.

"Elaine. What did you do." She slowly asked. Elaine gave a nervous laugh.

"Oh don't worry! I didn't tell your brother about the engagement. I told Ban." She confessed. Micah stared at the fairy.

"Elaine!" She screamed just as another voice yelled from below them.

"Micah's what?!" The voice shouted. "Say that again Ban!" With a groan, Micah threw open the door.

"Seraphina, stay with Eira! Elaine and Zelophehad come with me!" She ordered before proceeding to run out the room. When she descended to the lowest floor Micah saw everyone turn and stare at her.

"Why didn't you tell me you were engaged?!" Meliodas demanded. Micah glared at Ban who whistled nonchalantly.

"What? You are the Captain's sister. I thought it was odd he didn't know~" He answered with a smirk.

"Ban! You promised not to tell anyone!" Elaine accused as she reached Micah, Zelophehad close behind her. Micah took a deep breath and sighed.

"In light of the situation I completely forgot." She confessed. "I honestly was planning to tell you once I remembered." Meliodas frowned.

"Micah, you can't just get married all of the sudden! How well do you even know the man?" He asked.

" As Alice, I've known him ever since he was born!" She answered. Meliodas raised a brow at her answer.

"You mean in your fake identity?" He said. "Then does he actually love you as Micah?" Micah blushed deeply as bit her lower lip.

"Meliodas, please! Their love is genuine!" Elaine intervened. "I've never seen a couple much in love as Ban and I are!"

"If it's like that then they must be crazy in love~" Ban said with a chuckle. Meliodas glared at him before turning back to Micah.

"I absolutely refuse to let you get married to someone I don't even know!" He declared. "Who is he even?!" Suddenly, a familiar voice spoke just then.

"He is the King of Camelot, Arthur Pendragon." The voice said as a cloaked woman suddenly appeared before them "That is who Micah's fiance is." Micah widened her eyes in disbelief as she realized who the person was. Hawk yelped in surprise.

"Wha-! How did you get in here?!" The pig demanded. "Who exactly are you?!" Merlin smirked from underneath her cloak.

"A good friend of the couple." The wizardess answered before she turned to Micah. "You wouldn't believe how long it took me to find you-Arthur nearly fainted with worry! It's time for us to head back now dear." Meliodas narrowed his eyes at the woman.

"I'm not letting you take my sister again!" He growled out. "Did you know how long it took me to find her again?!" King peered closely at Merlin.

"Wait, you sound familiar. Have we met before?" He asked. Merlin's smile grew wider as she snapped her fingers. Suddenly, the ground below Micah's feet shifted and she suddenly found herself in the halls of the Camelot castle.

"H-Huh?!" She stuttered, looking around. Elaine and Zelophehad were with her as well as Seraphina and Eira. All of them were just as confused as she was.

"Oh don't be so shocked, Micah." Merlin chided slightly as she appeared before them and took off her hood. "You knew I was coming to get you eventually." Micah frowned.

"Yeah but I didn't expect you to just suddenly transport us to Camelot! What about Brother Meliodas and the others?!" She questioned.

"They'll be fine." Merlin reassured. "I have no doubt they know who I am or at least suspect who I really am. Of course, they can't enter Camelot lest the draw attention to themselves. Besides, they have other priorities, though it could be the same for you." Micah crossed her arms over her chest.

"You mean Hendrickson, don't you?" She asked. "Merlin, you know what's going on, don't you?" The sorceress nodded.

"Yes, though I suspect not much as you do." She answered. "Arthur wanted to meet with the King of Liones yet he's has no such luck. We've been planning on a way to get into the kingdom without alerting Hendrickson. Of course, lately Arthur's been thinking of nothing but you." Micah sighed.

"That's why you brought me back." Micah realized. "But, aren't you worried Brother will try and get me back?"

"Like I said, going into Camelot would attract too much attention to them." Merlin repeated. "And I suspect the magic Meliodas used to transport you was a one time deal. Don't worry though; if you want I'll be glad to send letters to him." Micah smiled slightly.

"I suppose that's fine." She said before pointing towards Eira. "Merlin, is there any way to help Eira?" Merlin floated over the still Holy Knight and peered at her.

"Hm...it seems that she's consumed the blood of a Goddess." Merlin noted. "I can try to detoxify it from her body but I doubt it'll remove the all the powers she gained from it." Eira tsked.

"If that's the case then I'll be sure to use those powers to end Hendrickson." She growled. Seraphina grimaced.

"Though she is not a Goddess by birth, if Eira keeps these powers then I will take it upon myself to teach her how to wield them." Seraphina stated. As the Goddess helped Eira up, Micah felt a tug on her sleeve and looked to see Elaine.

"Lady Micah, you haven't forgotten, right?" The fairy asked. Micah nodded.

"You're right. Arthur probably ready to jump in a hole to look for me. I better go find him." Micah said as began to head off.

"Micah, a quick word." Merlin called out, stopping the blonde. "I couldn't help but overhear your conversation with the Captain about your memories. I may be able to help but please seek out Arthur first." Micah smiled.

"Thank you, Merlin." She whispered before heading off. She hoped Arthur wasn't too worried. A day or two had only passed. Surely he couldn't be that distressed, right?

Is your life truly cursed? Is your existence truly not meant to be? Then why is it that you still live then?

Micah knew immediately that Arthur was more worried than she thought.

"Alice!" He sobbed as the king buried his face into her arms. "I'm so glad you're ok! I feared the worse had happened to you!" Micah gently patted his head.

"I'm sorry I disappeared so suddenly." She whispered before looking around at his study. Though she only came into the room every once in a while during her stay, Micah saw that it was a complete mess. Bills for tax reforms were littered everywhere on the floor and books on magic were scattered on every inch of the desk.

"I-I wanted to send an army after you when Merlin found you but she said that was too drastic!" He cried. Micah couldn't help but thank Merlin for talking Arthur out of that idea. With a sigh Micah pushed Arthur back slightly and bent down so she could hold his face in her hands.

"Silly boy, I know you cared about a lot and was worried about me but there was nothing to fear." Micah reassured. "If Merlin was not worried then why did you let yourself be?" Arthur sniffled as he embraced her in a hug again.

"I couldn't help it! I had to leave you once, Alice! I couldn't bear to get separated from you again!" He said. Micah, touched by his words, kissed him on the lips. Though she felt bad for worrying Arthur, Micah was happy to see a new side to the king.

"I promise I'll never leave your side." She whispered. Arthur smiled and kissed her back.

"That's a promise I'll hold you to account then." He whispered back. Just as they reached in for another kiss, a third person interrupted them.

"Though I do so enjoy your loving relationship, you're behind on your duties Arthur." Merlin reminded. "Those bills aren't going to be signed themselves." The couple blushed as they quickly moved apart.

"Y-yes. Thank you for reminding me Merlin." Arthur replied with a blush before turning towards Micah. "I'll see you around then, Alice." Micah smiled and headed out the room with Merlin.

"So how much do you know of my memory problems?" Micah asked once the door to the study closed.

"Quite a bit actually." Merlin answered. "Though it was far more serious than I realized. Micah, I did say that you'd get your memories back in time but it seems that I miscalculated how much would return. How much do you remember?" Micah frowned.

"Honestly, not much. Only my time in Liones." The blonde confessed. "But I'm getting some memories of Danafor, a little of my family, and so forth. Yet I feel that there is something more important I'm forgetting." Merlin pursed her lips as she thought.

"Hm...I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try that." The sorceress murmured as she teleported the two of them into her study. Micah, caught off guard, steadied herself on a nearby desk.

"Please tell me when you're about to do that!" Micah exasperated as she looked around. The blonde had seen this room only once to get the communication device from Merlin but it was just as messy as she remembered. Merlin hummed slightly as she used her magic to pull several objects on and off the shelves.

"Ah, here it is." Merlin said as she placed a small box in her hand before showing Micah. "Does this look familiar to you?" Micah examined the small ornate box. Though it looked quite old, the blonde realized that it was kept in relatively good condition. She gently took the box from Merlin to examine it in further details, noticing designs of dragons on it.

"These dragons look familiar." Micah murmured as she opened the box. Suddenly, a familiar melody played, causing Micah to tear up once more. "Ah, why is it playing my lullaby?" Merlin looked curiously at her.

"Lullaby?" She asked as Micah wiped her tears away.

"Yes. It's playing the exact tune of the song I sang in the past." Micah answered and proceeded to sing the song. Merlin eyes widened in shock.

"Micah, do you have any idea what you just sang?" The wizardess suddenly demanded. Micah frowned.

"N-No. I can't understand the lyrics but I know that I sang this melody whenever I was upset." The woman answered. Merlin seemed conflicted with her answer.

"Remember me not oh sleeping child; my life is but an endless tragedy. Until the day I draw my last breath, this accursed war shall never end." The sorceress explained. "That is what the words mean!" Micah felt her blood run cold.

"What?" She whispered when pain suddenly struck her head. Dropping the music box from her hand, Micah grabbed her aching head as words echoed in her mind.

"A Goddess and Demon hybrid should never have existed!"

"You are a sorry excuse of a Demon!"

"What a useless being. What does the Demon King see in you?"

"You are not my sister."

Micah screamed as dark tendrils began to cover her body. Merlin, who had grabbed the music box before it fell to the ground, tsked as she prepared to a spell to render her friend asleep. However, shadows below Micah's feet suddenly shot from the ground and enveloped the blonde. Soon the screaming stopped and the shadows opened up to reveal an unconscious Micah. Merlin rushed towards her side and let out a sigh of relief when she noticed that Micah was alright. However, she noticed the shadow did not retreat.

"May I assume that you are the Cloak of Shadows?" Merlin asked. The Cloak gathered together to produce a vague image of a woman.

"Merlin, the last child of Belialin. Tell me, why do know so much of Micah and her powers?" She questioned. Merlin gathered Micah into her and stood up to to properly face the Shadow.

"I wish to learn everything in this world so there was no doubt that I would eventually come to observe Micah when I realized the uniqueness of her powers." The woman explained, glancing down at her sleeping friend. "However, never in my life did I realize that her powers were similar, no identical, to what I had discovered in the past. A legend that involved the one created this world and the one that desired to destroy it." Merlin gently placed Micah in an empty chair.

"It's hard to believe but everything points to Micah being the reincarnation of the 'Creator'." The sorceress murmured. "And if that's the case, then the bloody fate that the Creator suffered may befall on Micah."

"Then you should know that Meliodas of the Seven Deadly Sins shall never let that destiny come to pass." The Cloak of Shadow whispered. Merlin frowned.

"So Captain was responsible for locking away some of Micah's memories." She murmured. "When I went to give the normal life Micah wished for, I had discovered that some of her memories had already been sealed." The Cloak gave a shaky exhale.

"Micah has suffered much hardship due to her existence. She was ostracized by her people and carried the heavy burden of her powers. When Meliodas discovered the reason of her birth, he and his lover locked those memories away and fought to ensure that Micah would live." The Cloak explained. "However, even they did not realize the consequences of their actions."

"...Regardless of what they did, it doesn't help Micah's situation. The awakening of the Elemental Dragons and Deities Dragons indicate the Micah will have to fulfill her destiny. Nothing I discover tells me how I can help her." Merlin said bitterly. "But I'll be damned if I let my friend go through with her fate without trying to help her!" The Cloak pointed towards the music box.

"The music box originally contained the Dragons, did it not? I know you were hoping that if Micah regained her memories, you could gain a clue to her destiny." The Cloak of Shadows murmured. "But, I fear that has brought the opposite effect." The Cloak looked towards Micah with a mournful expression. "I have watched her for a very long time. She is the most important person to be besides my lover." Merlin looked curiously at the Cloak of Shadows.

"Elaine, the Spear of Dreams, had once died but was revived by Micah." Merlin suddenly said. "There's no doubt that the situation was the same for you. Who exactly are you?" Red eyes peered at her as the Cloak's appearance cleared slightly to reveal blonde hair and white clothes.

"I had once desired to die when I grew weary of my vampire life and was subsequently killed out of mercy by the Sin of Wrath Meliodas. But my lady, Micah, convinced me to live once more and I protected her from then on." She explained. "You know me as the Cloak of Shadows but my true name is Gelda; Gelda the Thousand Temptations of the Vampire Clan that was annihilated twelve years ago."

To fulfill the destiny granted by the real me and to stop my beloved from annihilating everything.

As the Seven Deadly Sins traveled on Hawk Mama's back (Diane was walking behind the giant pig), the air was gloomy. Micah, once brought back, was taken once again by a hooded woman. The Sins had a suspicion of who took her, but alas it did nothing to relieve their worries. Ban quietly drank his sorrows away, having got his beloved back in his arms only for her disappear with Micah. King and Diane talked between the broken window, talking about the events that had transpired. Hawk was asleep, occasionally calling out Micah's name. Meliodas was on the balcony, watching as the sun began to set.

"...Micah." He whispered out. Meliodas understood his sister's anger and defiance against him. It was not right of him to keep their family and her past a secret from the blonde, nor should he try to control who she should be with. Yet it was all for her own good, at least, that's what he told himself.

"Sir Meliodas?" Elizabeth called out as she walked onto the balcony. Meliodas turned to look at her.

"Elizabeth, what are you doing out here?" He asked. The princess gave a small smile.

"I suppose I just want to be in your company." She answered as the woman stood next to him. The two stood in silence for a moment before Elizabeth spoke again. "I apologize from before. It seems that I angered you." Meliodas shook his head.

"No, you were just trying to help my sister. And for that I'm grateful you care." He said. "But, there are just something Micah can't find out again. It would kill me if she did, both of us." Elizabeth looked towards him.

"Sir Meliodas, if I may, what is it that you wish Micah doesn't find out?" She asked. Meliodas' expression darkened.

"I suppose I should explain. A little of where my sister and I came from." He answered. "It wasn't a place for such bright and innocent child to be. Because of her...unique nature, Micah was constantly bullied. I always looked after her but I became increasingly frustrated that she couldn't defend herself. So I told her horrible things. Those words have haunted me ever since." Meliodas tightened his hands into fists as he continued. "I told her that she was a burden to me and that I never once considered her a sister. I said that she shouldn't have existed!" Tears fell from his eyes as the man broke down. "You know what she did? She apologized to me! My sweet sister, who did her best to please her family, apologized for existing!"

"Sir Meliodas..." Elizabeth whispered out.

"The worst part was that it almost got her killed!" Meliodas continued. "Micah decided to leave so that she wouldn't burden anyone and was nearly set upon by our enemies! I-I can't bear for the same situation to happen to her again! For her to think she was worthless!" As he sobbed, Elizabeth quietly wrapped her arms around him.

"Meliodas, though your words were indeed hurtful, you did it out of love for your sister." The princess comforted. "That meant you truly cared for your sister." Then the two stood there as the night welcomed them. A single thought formed in Meliodas' as Elizabeth embraced him.

"Micah, I swear, I'll never let that tragedy repeat itself. Nor will I let some destiny take you away from those you love."

Yet all I bring is tragedy and destruction to those I care for. When will this cycle of pain and ruin every end?

"What the hell happened here?!" Meliodas demanded to a soldier. Word had reached his ear that his beloved sister had run away and found herself near a battle between the Demon units and the Goddess soldiers. Worried sick, he and his younger brother quickly rushed towards area. However, when they reached the battlefield, there was only bloody corpses. The soldier in front of Meliodas flinched nervously.

"W-When we arrived it was already like this!" He explained. "We found no survivors-none from our side or the Goddess's. Then we found the princess but she..."

"What happened to Micah?!" Zeldris growled. Meliodas narrowed his eyes and pushed the Demon away, running towards the area where some of his men were gathered. To his shock, when he drew near, the men were cut in half, killed in an instant. Their bodies fell on the corpses of the Goddess soldiers that already laid there. In the middle was Micah, curled up. Her head was buried in her arms as white and black wings laid flat on her back.

"Micah." He called out. Micah flinched and slowly looked up to reveal a blue and a dark purple eye.

"B-Big Brother." She stuttered before widening her eyes in shock. "N-No! What am I doing?! I-I-!" Micah suddenly clutched her head. "I don't deserve to live! I shouldn't have existed! I'm just a burden!"

"Calm yourself, Micah!" Meliodas yelled as he reached for her. Immediately he drew his hands back as her powers began to grow out of control, creating a diameter and cutting everything that was within range. Meliodas cursed and jumped back as diameter increased. He didn't realize how much those words had hurt her, how much it broke her heart. If he had known then he wouldn't have said them at all!

"Micah, my little sister. Please, calm down!" He begged. "I never meant those words I said!"

"Brother, what did you say to her?!" Zeldris questioned as he caught up with Meliodas. The eldest grimaced.

"Horrible things that should have never been said to her." He answered. Suddenly, Micah's powers slowly dwindled and disappeared.

"Only my death shall bring this war to an end once again." Micah murmured as she fell unconscious. In an instant, Meliodas caught her, cradling the young girl in his arms. Both brothers seemed stunned at her words.

"What exactly did Micah mean?" Zeldris asked Meliodas. Meliodas, for a first time in a long while, was unable to answer.

Who knows? Only time shall tell who shall be victorious.

Not all is what it seems. A sealed past that cannot be recovered, an older brother unwilling to tell her secrets, and cursed fate. With her brother's relationship strained to almost no return, can Micah find a way to recover her past? Can she change her supposed destiny that legends tell? With the threat of Hendrickson's diabolical plan looming over them, one thing is certain. The Seven Deadly Sins shall never be the same again.

The words lyrics are just gibberish and you can actually decode it to reveal that it's exactly the same as Merlin said. If you're curious, its the Entean language Hataraku Maou-Sama! used in the anime. If you type in the title of the manga/anime and language, it should be the first thing to pop up. Clicking on it will show the original alphabet alongside the Entean one.

Reviews:

fantasy.92: Sorry I didn't tell you. As you can see, Micah did return back to Camelot. Also, considering that Micah is the sister of Meliodas, it was obvious that Zelophehad was also his uncle.

Mathew5641: Thank you!

LitchKing: I'm glad you enjoy them! I will admit, I probably won't be able to QA updates often because of the rules of Fanfiction. But, I will try to find a way around that. As for the pairing for Arthur and Micah, it is kinda cute.

wintermoon7: Well, that kind of poll won't happen any time soon but feel free to do so once I do! Gowther did show up, though very briefly, in the Byzel arc. I definitely anticipate shenanigans from him when he finds about Arthur!

Until Next Time! RR!
