Chapter 14

Percy's POV

I woke up the next morning with my arms wrapped around Annabeth. After she kissed me last night we stayed up all night and just talked until we fell asleep. I can't believe that I can finally say that she is my girlfriend. Annabeth is perfect in every way. She is smart, she is she is independent, she can kick ass, she is gorgeous, and she is mine. The thought of Annabeth and I being a couple put a smile on my face. I continued to lay there with my arms around her. I was happy with her and nothing and no one can change how I feel.

Annabeth finally started to wake up about 20 minutes after I did. She rolled over so she was facing me. She opened her beautiful grey eyes and smiled at me. I leaned over and kissed her on the forehead and Annabeth rolled her eyes but she laughed as well.

"Good morning Wise Girl."

"Good morning." She said with a yawn, "How long have you been up?"

"Only about 20 minutes."

"Oh so you were watching me sleep Seaweed Brain? Wow, that's creepy. I don't think I can date someone who watches me sleep." She said as she laughed and started to get out of the bed. I began to laugh. I don't really know why, but something about being around Annabeth just made me happy.

"Where are you going?" I asked and then sat up waiting for her answer.

"I'm changing out of these pajamas, and then I'm going to help Sally cook breakfast."

"Oh! Will you ask her to make blue pancakes? I been forever since I had them!"

"It's been 2 days."

"That's way too long to go without blue pancakes." I stated. Annabeth just rolled her eyes and walked into the hallway, closing the door behind her. I sat there thinking about how lucky I was and then decided that I should get ready for the day.

I walked downstairs about 30 minutes later. I could smell the bacon and the pancakes that my mom was making. With that as a motivation I started to walk a little faster to the kitchen. I walked in and saw Annabeth and my mom cooking and laughing. They acted as if they have known each other for years, not just a couple of weeks. I guess that is because my mom is so friendly and sweet it is kinda hard to not like her.

"Hey Mom!" I said. Annabeth and my mom turned around to look at me. They immediately stopped laughing and then looked at each other and started to die with laughter.

"Ummm, did I miss something?" I asked.

"Your mom…. Was telling me…. You were 3 and…. Thalia…" It was hard to understand because she was laughing so hard, but I knew exactly what Annabeth was talking about. I would rather not go into many details, but trust me, it is really embarrassing. My face started to turn blood red.

"Mom! You aren't supposed to tell my girlfriend that story." That got my mom's attention. A huge smile appeared on her face and she pulled me and Annabeth into a hug.

"Oh my gosh! I am so happy for you two! When did this happen? How did you ask her out! Have you kissed yet?"

"Mom, calm down. If you let us go I will explain everything." She finally released me and Annabeth.

"Okay so explain!" And we did. We left out a few things though like the make-out session and how Annabeth punched Nico. Needless to say, my mom was ecstatic. The whole time we were sitting at the table in the kitchen telling my mom the story, Annabeth held my hand. Nothing could've made me happier.

After Annabeth and my mom had finished cooking, Mom volunteered to wake everyone up. We stayed downstairs at prepared the table.

"So I'm forfeiting the prank war as soon and everyone gets down here. I don't care how mad Thalia gets, I can't handle it anymore."

"No I'll forfeit, that way the girls will win. Besides, it's Nico's fault for the last prank so he should be the one to lose."

"How about the forfeit together?" Annabeth suggested.

"Sounds like a plan." I said as I stuck my hand out for Annabeth to shake it. She accepted the gesture and we shook hands just as everyone was coming down the stairs.

We all got out food and sat down. I sat next to Annabeth and Grover. I figured he would be less likely to try and attack me once me and Annabeth forfeit. Annabeth hit my leg underneath the table.

"So guys, we have something to tell you." My mom's eyes brightened up. She probably thought we were going to tell everyone that we were dating.

"We forfeit the prank war." We said at the same time. Nico started to choke on his waffle and Thalia looked confused.

"Oh thank God!" Juniper said. "You guys have no clue how happy I am now that the stupid prank war is over!"

"Prank war? What is going on?" Uncle Zeus asked.

"Thalia and Nico started this whole prank war thing about a week and a half ago. It was girls against guys and if one member of the team forfeits then the whole team loses. So since Percy and Annabeth forfeited at the same time it's a tie." Jason explained.

"How did we not know about this prank war?" My dad asked.

"I have no clue sir!" Grover said. "But honestly you were lucky not to know. Nico has us getting up at like 2 in the morning just to pull these pranks."

"Same with Thalia." Juniper chimed in.

"Thalia Grace! You know better. This whole thing could've got out of control!" My aunt warned.

"Aw… it's alright Mom! No one got hurt. Nico just locked Annabeth in a closet with a spider. But don't worry she knocked his ass out! So the score was totally settled!" Thalia said.

"She didn't 'knock me out', she might've just stunned me." Nico, who had just got done choking, said.

"Dude, she totally knocked you out. You were down buddy." I said with a smirk.

The whole time my mom just sat there with a disappointed look on her face.

"That's all you guys have to announce?" Mom asked.

"Yep." I said before realizing what she meant. Annabeth just rolled her eyes.

"I thought you were going to tell everyone about how you two are dating now!" My mom said.

Nico began to choke again, Thalia's mouth dropped down to the table, Juniper started to squeal, Grover just patted me on the back congratulating me, and the adults just had a smile on their face like they all weren't at all surprised.

"Shit." We all turned to look at Jason, who normally doesn't make outburst like that. "Guess I owe Grover and Juniper $50."

Thalia's POV

I was completely shocked when I found out about Annabeth and Percy going out. I actually don't know why I was so surprised, I mean, I was the one who had been trying to get them together since the first day we got here. I guess I was just surprised that Annabeth didn't tell me and Juniper first. But, I am sure I can get her to tell me.

We were still sitting at the table and everyone was bombarding the two with questions. I figured that if I was going to get the details out of Annabeth that it was going to have to be when everyone else wasn't asking her questions.

"Hey!" I yelled to get everyone's attention, "I wanna go to the beach. So let's go!"

"Okay!" Annabeth said looking a little relieved to be getting out of the spotlight. Everyone else agreed and we all finished our breakfast and headed to our rooms to change into swimsuits. I changed into my black, high wasted bikini and put my black cover up over top of it. Once I had packed everything I would be needing into a beach bag I headed to Annabeth's room. Juniper had the same idea, because she was just about to knock on her door as I walked out of my room.

"You come to ask her about her and Percy too?" Juniper asked.

"Yep" I said popping the 'p'. Juniper was about to knock on the door, but I stepped in front of her and opened it.

"Okay Annie. You have some explaining to do!" I yelled.

"Gods, don't call me 'Annie'." She said with a grimace.

"What Thalia meant to say was 'Annabeth, tell us what happened with you and Percy!" Juniper said.

"No, I'm pretty sure I said it right." I said as I took a seat on Annabeth's bed.

"Okay, fine. So you guys know about how Percy and I kissed at the lighthouse, well after I punched Nico he took me to waffle house…"

Annabeth explained everything. From the bitchy waitress at Waffle house to when she stormed up to Percy's room last night and kissed him. I was actually pretty proud of my little Annie! She finally grew a pair and kissed the guy who is perfect for her without worrying about a broken heart or Luke.

Gods, I hate Luke. He is the reason Annie wouldn't go out with anyone else for the rest of the year. He is the reason she distanced herself from Juniper and I for a month. And he almost became the reason that she didn't date Percy. Annabeth doesn't know it, but Percy is the best thing has ever happened to her. That is why I pushed so hard for them to get together. Percy had just came out of a shitty relationship a couple of months ago and Annabeth's heart was still broken. I knew they could help each other and I knew they would be perfect for each other.

After Annabeth finished her story Juniper basically attacked her.

"ANNABETH I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! Now you and Percy can go on double dates with me and Grover!" Juniper screamed.

"Well, if Thalia and Nico ever realize they are in love with each other and go out, we could make it a triple date." Annabeth said as she nudged my shoulder.

"Annie. Do NOT ever say that again. I am not 'in love' with Nico. In fact I hate him." But as I said that, I couldn't help but think of how nice it would be to go on a date with Nico. Shit. What am I thinking? I hate Nico. Yep. I definitely hate him.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night Thals." Annabeth said with a smirk.

"Hey guys, Grover just texted me. The boys are already on the beach."

"Okay. We better head down there." I said.

We walked down to the beach and the boys were there playing in the water having a chicken fight. Of course. Juniper, Annabeth, and I walked towards where the boys had put their things and laid our bags and chairs down beside their stuff.

"They would be having a chicken fight." Juniper said with a giggle.

Once the boys saw that we were here they ran onto the beach to greet us. Grover wrapped his arms around Juniper and gave her a kiss on the cheek. They had really hit it off at their date last night and Juniper informed us that they were now officially a couple. They were so cute together. I swear I can see them getting married and having about 20 little tree hugger kids running around.

Percy came up to Annabeth and tried to kiss her but she put her hand up to stop him.

"Hey!" Percy complained. Annabeth just shrugged and began to take off her t-shirt and shorts. I guess she finally got over the whole 'this bathing suit is too revealing' thing. Which is good, because she needs to realize that she is very pretty and she needs to be proud of herself. She didn't used to be so self conscious all the time, but after Luke cheated on her, she changed. I am glad to see Percy bringing back the old Annie.

"So how did it feel to lose the prank war?" Nico asked with a smug look on his face. I would really like to punch that look right off his face. Or maybe I should get Annabeth to do it.

"What the hell are you talking about Death Breath?" I questioned just as Jason's phone rang.

"Well I figured that since the boys were the last ones to pull a prank that we one!"

"Ummmm… Hell no."

"But—"

"The agreement was that if one person forfeited from the war then the whole team loses. And Percy and Annabeth quit at the same time, therefore it was a tie." I said.

"Whatever." Nico grumbled.

"Hey guys, is it okay if Leo and Piper come hang out with us at the beach today?" Jason asked.

"Awe Jase is this your little girlfriend!" Annabeth cooed. Jason started to turn a dark shade of pink.

"No. We aren't dating. We are just friends."

"Okay man. Whatever you say. What time is you 'friend' supposed to be here?" Percy mocked.

"They said they will be here in like 20 minutes." He stated.

"Oh great!" I said, "it's been a while since I have got to tease Piper about having a crush on you!"

A/N: Hey guys! So I just got back from my trip to Europe about a week and a half ago! I have been so busy since I got back that this chapter has taken forever to write. But I just wanted to say that if I have any readers from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, or England… you are extremely lucky to live there! I absolutely fell in love with Ireland, it is so beautiful! Okay now back to the story. So I changed it up and had a Thalia POV. Next chapter will start out in Percy or Annabeth's POV but will change to someone else's like I did in this chapter. There will be a new couple within the next two chapters, but which one, I am not going to tell you! It was requested that Piper and Leo joined the little group so that will happen next chapter!
