Disclaimer: I don't own Austin and Ally

Ally's POV

I awoke with a jolt of the plane and for a second I was paralyzed with fear. It took me only to a few seconds to realize I had fallen out of my chair and the driver saw, panicking and accidentally let go of the wheel. I could only imagine how funny it would've looked from a third person's perspective. I groaned and held my right palm to my head. It was pounding again. I sat up, noticing the driver staring at me in concern.

"I'm fine frank, don't worry." I say to him.

"We are on an extremely important mission and I'd rather not be responsible for your death. Your blond boyfriend will literally murder me!" At this I laugh at how pale Frank seemed. Austin wouldn't… right? I tried not to think about him much, knowing him he was going to blow his top about my decision. I glanced out my window, the dark wrapped around the city below us. My ears have already popped and my head was spinning. The air around me was humid. I groaned and took some Advil. "We're landing in a few minutes Agent Dawson. Get ready."

"Oh I'm ready." I say determinedly. Frank smiled.

"Just like your mother, always ready for a fight."

"Guess it runs in the family…" I stood up and stretched, wincing as I realized it wasn't such a great idea. My arms stung badly, but I didn't dare take vicodin. I had stolen a couple of the stuff just in case of an emergency. It was stashed on the very bottom of my backpack, so was a tight dress, my ID and a couple thousand dollars. I rub the back of my neck and take in a huge breath. "I'm going to change, okay?" I say towards Frank. I grab my backpack and head towards the bathroom. I quickly undress and squeeze myself into a tight blue dress that came up to my knees, but barely. My arms were bruised and quite the sight. To cover it, I pulled on a long sleeve that had a low cut on the front and exposed my shoulders. I stared at the mirror and ran a tired hand through my hair. I began pacing back and forth, my stomach twisted and I felt anxious. Finally, I stopped in front of the mirror, my stomach ready to bring up my lunch. The sudden beeping sound brought me back to my senses. I pressed the blue tooth on my ear and answered.

"Demonica?"

"Ally, should I give Austin false directions or the truth?" Demonica asked. I closed my eyes and leaned against the wall.

"False…"

"Okay, well my dear, get ready. Jean Paul-Paul Jean should be waiting at The River House Diner in a cruise ship. The plane will land on time, I presume. Good luck Allison." And she hung up. I pressed my lips together and groaned as I slide down the wall. I'm going to need all the luck I can get.

It was nearly midnight when I got onto the streets. I took in heavy breaths of air and felt better. It was healthier than the stuffiness of the plane. I walked down the crowded streets and looked around, spotting a dock in the distance. And, lucky, I saw a fur coat. I put on a professional smile and walked his way, glad to have brought my one inch high heels. He greeted me with a smile as he extended his arms for a hug.

"Ally Dawson! I had a feeling the daughter will someday return." He said with a smile. "This is so panda! Come! Let us feast!" He held out his arm and I took it as we boarded the cruise ship. I glanced behind me, expecting to see Austin there, watching. I was disappointed, as I should be. I don't want him near me right now; it'll only end up with us fighting.

The diner was fantastic; it was decorated beautifully, with peach walls and engravings of birds on its surface. Jean Paul sat himself down and motioned for me to take my seat. With a smile, I sat and waiter poured Jean Paul a bottle of wine. He motioned if I wanted any and I waved him off.

"Water would be fine." I said. The waiter nodded and walked off. There was a piano playing in the distance and I listened to it for a little while before Jean Paul began to talk.

"Allison…" The way he said my name was so strict and serious, unusual for his bubbly nature, and he had my full attention."There are more things involved in this that you are most likely not going to know, or you shouldn't be aware of."

"I know enough." I said defensively.

"You only know revenge, my dear young one. Do you know who I am?" He suddenly asked. I opened my mouth to respond but his question made me stop. He raised his eyebrows in question. "Well? Do you?"

"I… am not sure I'm following Mr. Paul Jean."

"When I hear that, I turn around to search for my father. My name is Jean Paul-Paul Jean my dear princess!" He said in his usual way. I smile and nod just as the waiter brought in my water. "We'd like to order." He said. "I will feast on the fish fillet delicacy, hold the pepper. And you my dear shall have the chicken salad with the chowder soup and for a drink I would like another glass of this fine wine and my niece will have the strawberry and watermelon cocktail." At this my eyes widened as Jean Paul-Paul Jean smiled at me. He laughed at my expression and outstretched his arms. "Happy birthday, my albino panda!" He said. My head shook in disbelief. Did I really just hear that right?!

"N-not possible…"

"Oh it's very possible my dear! If you didn't have a birthday, how would you ever turn 18?"

"No! How is it possible that you're my uncle?!" I practically shouted. Jean Paul shrugged.

"Simple really. Your mother is my half sister. She was my step sister. And I feel your pain Allison. I truly do. But I do want you to realize that doing this mission for revenge won't make you feel better in the end."

"I understand that."

"No you do not Ally and let me tell you why I know." He said. "Why are you on this mission, hmm? What made you suddenly disobey Austin and come take on this dangerous quest when the other nearly cost you your life, same as your mother hmm?"

"To prove to everyone else I can do things, that I don't need them! I am fed up with being under everyone's surveillance and protection. I can do this on my own." Was my response. Jean Paul shook his head in disappointment. "What?"

"I know they showed you tapes Allison. Don't deny it." He said with a sigh. "You are going through so much, why don't we unwind a bit. Okay?" The waiter returned with our food and I stared at the cocktail in front of me. "I don't drink." I say.

"Well it's your birthday. Celebrate because you only turn 18 once my dear." He said with a smile.

"How'd you know it was my birthday?" I ask. Jean Paul smiled as he sipped his wine and dug into his fish.

"I've been waiting for the day you'd turn eighteen for so long Ally. And I had a lucky chance to meet you before that. Austin is a fine young boy, by the way. He has my blessing." I choked on my salad that I had begun to chow down. Jean Paul kept from laughing by eating his food. "This is a good filet." He commented.

"Austin and I haven't even dated for a month and there is already talk of marriage. " I say. "Unbelievable!"

"Believe it. Now! For just the rest of the day, can't we both just celebrate your birthday and forget this nonsense fighting? I would like my reunion with my only niece to be enjoyable and I would like you to enjoy your birthday as much as you can. At midnight tomorrow, we shall discuss details. Deal?" I stared at my new uncle then at my drink in front of me.

"Deal." I said with a smile as I took the glass of wine in my hand and eagerly took a sip.
