It is around daybreak when Syria sees the ports. She also sees a few more ships from her position on the crow's nest.
"Those are the ports we were take from. Do you remember what to do?" Akna questioned her and Syria nods her head. Akna hums.
"You have yet to change clothes." Makunga says from behind the Heliohapt woman. She was a half-Fanalis and her eyes seemed weird to Syria. The woman stood maybe two heads taller than the both of them.
Syria looked down at her clothes which were a bit torn here and there and dirty. She frowns a bit and shakes her head. "They are fine."
"Your shirt is ripped and some of your breast are showing." The finalis deadpanned and Akna coughed to hide her chuckle as Syria looked down at what used to be her shirt. Makunga only shook her head before grabbing Syria and walking her to the back of the deck where their supplies were.
"You should have gotten one when we passed them out to the others."
"Didn't..know." She pouts and begins to undress. She slips the shirt on with little effort since it was bigger than her. Makunga grabbed a fist full of it at the bottom and tied it in a knot.
The taller woman then hummed as she leads Syria back to where Akna and the girls and children were. She heard the other woman saying that they should be at land in little over an hour, which was good. Syria was starting to miss Po and Shaman.
She also missed Sin.
A pout started to make its way to her face. She wondered what he was doing. What type of trouble he was getting in or if he made any more friends or not.
She sighs and went to grab her things.
Sinbad coughed.
"Well that went well…"
"Yes," Jafar said sarcastically. "If you call being thrown into a trench naked and fighting a queen well. It's all nice and peachy." The little boy growled out toward the other and Sinbad laughed nervously.
"Ah, in the end, it went well. We managed to gain a new trading partner."
"It benefits the company." Jafar grumbles, less irritated. "However I do feel bad for Hinahoho…"
Said man shivered. They all agreed to not talk about it when those women gave Hinahoho back. The man looked completely drained and miserable. So after a night of food and rest, and a certain event Sinbad and Mystras would not mention, they met with the queen again to talk business. After that, they were now heading to their ship, after being flown there by using the country's native birds.
"So now we are going to Leam?" Mystras spoke up. Sinbad nods his head. "Yep! Hopefully Vittel's doing fine with the company. I do have faith in him."
Jafar snorts. "He better, if the company goes down I will hunt him down." A dark aura appeared around Jafar and the other three kept their distance.
"Putting that aside. We have enough supplies and more. Should we set sail?" Hinahoho asked.
"Yep!"
"Hello there Sinbad!" Yunan appeared, sitting on the bowsprit of the ship. There was a moment of silence before Sinbad jumped forward, pointing a finger at the blonde.
"You! What have you done with my sister?!" He shouted. Yunan only giggled. "Is that how you address a friend Sinbad?"
From beside Sin, Mystras tilts his head. "Friend? Is this man a friend?" He questioned. Jafar nods. "Kind of. I know he's friends with Syria. I'm not sure what he is to Sinbad. He comes and goes."
There's a moment of recognition as Mystras placed his fist in his hand. "Oh! This is the man that your sister ran off with?"
"She didn't run off with him! He kidnapped her!"
"Ah, I didn't kidnap her." Yunan whined. "I merely just started her on her own adventure. She just needed to be pointed in the right direction, she wasn't going to improve to her best ability staying with you Sinbad." He told him seriously. Sinbad faltered just a bit.
"Yunan, just what are you planning?"
"Nothing bad. I just want her to be strong is all."
"Then where is she?"
"Ah, last time I checked, a friend told me she was in Balbadd. She's made friends with a few royals over there."
"A few royals?" Mystras and Jafar echoed.
"Hai, she's gotten into a little trouble but she should be able to power through it." Yunan held his finger out and a piece of the rukh landed on it. He smiled at them. "I just came here to check up on you. That's all, bye now!"
"Wait a minute Yunan- and he's gone." Sinbad made a frustrated sigh through his nose. "Well at least she's ok. We might need to go to Balbadd after Leam."
He was still worried.
It takes them a few days (maybe it was a week, Sinbad easily lost count) to get back to Leam.
They were greeted with a crying Vittel and panicking staff moving over the place.
"Everyone calm down!" Sinbad had managed to ease the tension in a matter of seconds. When Vittel heard him begin to bow in apology while hysterical tears ran down his eyes. He began to apologize frantically.
"I-I'm sorry! It's all my fault."
Sinbad placed a hand on the man's shoulder. "Calm down Vittel. Just explain everything, I'm sure it's not that bad."
"We're in debt…." He says it in a small voice and Jafar is on him in an instant.
"What do you mean, we're in debt!? How!?" He snarled and grabbed at the other. Vittel cried out. "We needed money, so we took out a loan! I thought it would work out in the end b-b-but-"
With some effort, Hinahoho managed to pry the ex-assassin off the other.
"Jafar, calm down. Vittel, start from the beginning."
Syria helps a few women off the ship. Some of them were injured during or before their capture so they needed assistance with walking.
Akna stayed aside and Makunga was in charge of distributing goods to the women.
"Remember what captain Boa said." Akna whispered from behind her. Syria gave a small yelp and the other woman gave a small smirk at her reaction. Syria pouted with a whine.
"I remember."
"Alright, be safe. If I'm correct then our informant should have gotten the message through to king Rashid. You just need to give him our letter."
Syria nods, slinging her bag over her shoulder. Her bow was in her left hand. She simply needed to give Rashid the letter Captain Boa had written. She didn't read it because, well, she couldn't read as well as Sin. She didn't ask what it said either.
She waves bye as she runs through the port and follows the dark birds.
Hello, sorry for the short chappy but you know. It's about to get into the dark slave trade arc and it's gonna take me awhile to write that.
Please R&R
