That night Will and Sonny went out for pizza at an arcade where Ari could run around and play. Will and Sonny were seated near the ball pit so they could keep their eyes on Ari but still have alone time. Well the most alone time they could get with a dozen kids running and screaming all around them.

"Do you remember my friend Luke?" Sonny asked

"Yea the one getting married, right?" Will replied wondering why Sonny suddenly seemed so nervous.

"That would be the one. Anyway his wedding is next month in Chicago and I was wondering if you wanted to be my date. It would be an overnight weekend trip and I don't know if you could find someone to take Ari for the weekend, and I know a wedding date is a serious thing so if you don't want to I get it. I mean.."

"Sonny...Sonny." Will cut him off "Your rambling"

"I tend to do that when I get nervous." Sonny said looking over to the ball pit to watch Ari, instead of meeting Will's eyes.

"Well there is no reason for you to be. I would love to be your date. I'm sure I can find someone to take Ari for a weekend." Will answered and Sonny lit up smiling.

They talked for a while longer about the trip to Chicago. Sonny was trying to convince Will it would be better to fly but Will was adamantly against that. He kept his feet firmly planted on the ground, no exceptions. He made one once when he visited his Aunt Carrie and Uncle Austin and he would never do that again. Such bad turbulence on his return flight home that when he finally landed in Chicago he kissed the flight attendants, gate attendant, as well as the ground, which was almost as bad an idea as flying. He skipped his connection flight and drove back to Salem, at 5AM in a rental car that smelled like cheese and had no heat, he thought he was going to lose some toes if not the whole foot but decided it was better than flying. After he explained that story Sonny let the flying thing go, if someone was desperate enough to kiss a Chicago terminal he was not going to pressure them into flying. Also there was no way he would kiss Will if they did fly and he pulled that nasty stunt again, at least until he brushed his teeth a few... hundred times. After leaving the pizza place they drove back to Will's house where Sonny left his car and he helped Will carry a sleeping Ari up to bed. After tucking her in and after kissing her forehead and stuffed elephant goodnight, because she woke up insisting he do so, and how could Sonny say no to Ari, they headed down stairs for a glass of wine, they went out back and shared the same chair they did the night before.

"Everything is so perfect. I feel like I've known you forever." Will said as he leaned back into Sonny.

"I feel the same way. I am so happy you and Ari came into my life." Sonny smiled as he rubbed Will's shoulders.

"I never thought I would find this, someone who accepts my daughter and someone she is so comfortable around."

"What can I say the ladies love me." Sonny laughed

"Did you really just say that?" Will asked turning to look at him and Sonny just gave him a million dollar smile.

"Dork."

"Oh but you love this dork." Sonny joked and then realized what he said, while Will just froze not saying anything. "I mean...not like that...I mean...you know what I mean."

Will just nodded and turned back around grabbing his wine. He wasn't freaked out about what Sonny said, he was freaked out because he knew what Sonny meant. Will did love him, or at least he was falling in love and Will didn't get this. He didn't get the good life, he didn't get the happy ending. Something was going to happen, something bad always happened to him. They stayed outside for a while longer and kept the conversation light, talking about sports, the recent weather and then Sonny went home.

Morning Babe-S

Will was getting Ari's breakfast ready when his phone vibrating with a text from Sonny. Babe...this isn't the first time Sonny has used pet names with him but it still made him blush.

"Daddy! Are you going to feed me or act like a love sick dog all day!" Ari yelled over to him, and he just stared at her, honestly where does she learn these things from.

"Coming princess." Will said in a British accent making Ari laugh and spit milk out of her nose.

"Yuk" She said still laughing, as Will grabbed a paper towel, cleaned up Ari then the table and went back to his phone.

Good morning-W

XOXO-S

XOXO! I seriously am falling in love! What the hell am I going to do.

"Daddy! Are we going or what?" Ari asked from the backseat.

"So impatient this morning." Will said pulling out of the driveway.

"Are you okay? You are acting funny." Ari asked

"Yes Ari, just distracted."

"What?"

"It means I am thinking of a lot of stuff at once."

"Oh well stop. I need to go to school."

"Okay." Will said laughing.

"Yo Sonny!" Luke yelled walking into Common Grounds.

"Hey man." Sonny said taking his apron off and coming around the counter.

"Ready to go?" Luke asked

"Lets get this over with. I hate tuxes, I always feel like a penguin."

"You look like a penguin."

"Your jokes are so lame. I have no idea what Anna sees you in"

"Come on, you know I'm sexy!"

"Sure." Sonny said as he climbed into the passenger seat of Luke's car.

"So there's something I wanted to tell you." Luke said as he drove to the tux shop.

"What?"

"Paul is going to be groomsman."

"Paul! Are you shitting me? Why Paul?"

"Well it's a small world but he is a distant cousin to Anna and her mother pressured her into it. He's been in a bad place recently and she thinks it will be good for him."

"A bad place?"

"He was outed by that sleazy tabloid and he tore his rotator cuff, they don't think he'll be able to pitch again."

Okay this is fine. I invited my recently new boyfriend to a wedding where my ex finance is going to be. This is just going to be peachy.

Gabi grabbed her bag, and opened the front door. She turned around and looked at Nick's lifeless body one more time before turning off the lights and closing the door behind her.

So I just wanted to get this out because it's been forever.. I didn't proof read! Sorry for all my mistakes!
