Chapter 13
There was a long silence after Sesshomaru's words, Myosotis just stared at him from where she was sitting, while the others just stared, Inuyasha had an unbelievable look on his face since he has never seen Sesshomaru demand a fight from a Human before.
'What the hell why would he want to fight me?' Myosotis though to herself.
"Perhaps he wishes to test you on your fighting ability since you defeated his brother" Kurama answered
'Seriously?' Myosotis asked
''Yep" Kurama answered
'Joy' Myosotis thought
"Not that I'm opposed to it Lord Sesshomaru, but why do you wish to fight me?" Myosotis asked
"Because I do" was Sesshomarus only replay.
So with a soft Sigh, Myosotis moved Shippo from her lap to sit next to Rin before she stood up and faced Sesshomaru, just as Myosotis was about to speak when she was interrupted by Inuyasha
"That trick with the strings of yours won't work on Sesshomaru ya know?" said Inuyasha.
"I know that which is why I won't be using my secondary weapon but my primary weapon, you know the one you and the others have no knowledge about yet," Myosotis said as she followed Sesshomaru to the middle of the clearing.
Inuyasha's face turned red with anger as he realized that Myosotis hadn't even fought him seriously when he had attacked her.
Sesshomaru lead Myosotis to the middle of the clearing, then turned to face her.
"Draw your weapon Vixen. I am Sesshomaru first son of Inu no Taisho and Lord of the west." Sesshomaru said as he drawn his sword Tokijin.
" I am Myosotis Adopted Daughter of Kurama the Kyuubi no Yoko also known as the Bakegitsune of the Element Countries from across the sea," Myosotis said.
Myosotis pulled up her sleave and showed off a strange Tatto, before she bit her thumb and wiped her blood over the ink and with a poof of smoke some thing apared, it was 7 feet while Myosotis was a 5 Feet 8' and had a blade on the top, one half of the blade was smoth and made the object look like a scythe while the other side had teeth on both the top of the blade and the bottom of the blade, it also had a small swill that hung from the neck of the staff just under the blades, the head of the Scythe was strang as it had a small niddle sticking out while the bottom was wraped much like a sword is done, tho why it only went so far up no one but myosotis knew.
Myosotis swang the Scythe around with her Left hand before she swang it upon her shoulders in a relaxed stance.
"That is an interesting weapon you have there Vixen," Sesshomaru said while eying the weapon.
"Isn't she beautiful?" Myosotis asked with a Grin that no man or woman had ever seen and lived.
"Crap, I know she's using Shinigami for a reason but does her personality have to change to a bloodthirsty one everytime she uses it," Kurma said as he watched though Myosotis's eyes.
'Admit it you love it when I go Blood Thirsty every now and then Kurama' Myosotis thought back to Kurama
Kurama just pretended not to hear her since she was right he did like it.
"Her name is Shinigami but I just call her Shin," Myosotis said as she went into a fighting stance.
Sesshomaru looked over Myosotis's stance before getting into his own fighting stance.
Over by the tree line Shippo and Rin were sitting side by side with Inuyasha in a tree again but had his full attention on his brother and Myosotis, Sango, and Miroku were standing Behind Shippo and Rin, with Kirara sitting between Shippo and Rin, they all watched as they stood there staring each other down.
Five Minutes passed and still they both just stood there watching each other waiting for the other to move, just as a leaf touched the ground both moved and both ended up in the middle, Sesshomaru's Tokijin was blocked by the staff of Myosotis's Scythe.
The fight went on for close to an hour and none of the people standing on the sideline were able to keep up with the speed of the two, they started to slow down around the three-hour mark where it was revealed that both Myosotis and Sesshomaru had scratches, though Myosotis had more then Sesshomaru.
They moved again, this time Sesshomaru managed to knock Myosotis Scythe out of the way leaving Myosotis wide open for an attack which Sesshomaru took advantage and went in for the attack.
Shippo and Rin grabbed at each other and watched as Sesshomaru's Sword got closer to Myosotis, as the Sword got closer to Myosotis's face, Shippo and Rin closed their eyes and held each other tighter, then the sound of metal on metal rang through the air.
when Shippo and Rin looked up they and the others saw that Myosotis now had a short sword, Myosotis's Scythe which had been pushed out of the way was in her right hand and the Shortsword which had moved Sesshomaru's sword from hitting her in the face to just scratching her cheek was in her left hand, before anyone could question where the short sword had come from, Myosotis had swang her Scythe toward Sesshomaru and forced him to jump back before he could get another hit in.
"Where the hell did that come from" screamed Inuyasha as he stood from the branch he was sitting on.
Myosotis paid no attention to Inuyasha and instead kept her eyes on Sesshomaru, Sesshomaru watched as the female placed the short sword back into its sheath which turned out the be the base of the Scythe. Both Sesshomaru and Myosotis were breathing heavily, Myosotis more so then Sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru then straightened up and put his sword away, this move also had the effect of making Myosotis straightened up and swing her Scythe so is rested on her shoulders, then Sesshomaru turned and walked off leaving everyone watching confused.
