The day just seemed to go slow and I was okay with that. Now that I understood how Alec felt for me or at least I thought I understood how Alec felt for me I didn't want to have to be split up. We were sitting at a nice little fountain in a square. I was just happy to soak up the sun from Italy. "I know I can't stay here, it is too risky for me to be this close to the Volturi." "Yes but you can't tell me where you are going. If you tell me than they will be able to read my mind if they sense something is going on. I will find some way to get back to you." I was a little nervous that we wouldn't be able to find each other after we were separated, but I knew I would just have to have faith and then everything will come together in the long run. To think I ran from home because one guy said I was destined to be with him forever to run into a guy that I thought I would never like. Maybe I am over thinking it but I believe I was destined to be with Alec on this trip, I was able to see so much in the short time of being together. I know my family meant well by protecting me from that world outside but I also feel like they hurt me in the long run. How could I look at going back when I wanted to know how this was going to end?

We continued to sit at the fountain until the sun started to set. I knew that this was the end for this for now. I was just happy to sit at the fountain and just talk about everything and anything. "I guess I should get you back to the hotel. Then I will be on my way." "Yea I guess this has come to an end." I was nervous to not have anyone by my side. I knew Alec was going to be back sooner than I believed. I decided I was going to go to Paris I wanted to always see it. I couldn't tell Alec where I was going I only hoped he would be able to find me there but Italy was too dangerous for me. "Alec what happens if we can't find each other?" "Nessie I will search all over to find you again. But if I can't find you, you have to go home. That is where you will be safe." He was right, I needed to be safe my family gave up so much for me to be here today. "I have to go back to Forks soon. The longer I stay here it will be harder to find places that will be safe for me to go." The walk seemed to go by fast, I wished it would have lasted longer. "Be safe, get out of here in the morning." Before I even had a chance to say anything back to him he took off. I ran up to my room. I packed everything I had brought with me and decided to leave some things behind. I checked out of the hotel and headed towards the airport. It didn't take too long to get to the airport. It seemed like I was always looking behind to make sure no one was following me. I choose the first flight to Paris, it required me to wait for two hours in the airport but I figured I would be safe here with a lot of people around. I was starting my trip over again.

I made my way over to the terminal where my plane would be leaving. I still had a long wait and figured I would call my parents to check in with them. It had been a few days since I had talked to anyone and I did promise to call more. It didn't take long for my mom to pick up the phone. "Nessie how are you?" She seemed to be a lot calmer than the last time I talked to her. "I'm fine mom. I was just had some free time and thought I would give you a call." "I'm so happy that you were able to give me a call. What have you been doing?" "I went to a little antic shop and found a ton of cute clothes, I didn't get any though because of how expensive it was. I did buy this cute little hat." "Sounds like you are having a lot of fun. I am just wondering when you will be coming home." "Mom I will be home soon. In a month I should be home." That was how long I was going to give Alec to find me once I got to Paris. I knew it should be at least a week until he would be able to start searching. "Well this will be the longest month of my life since your father left me." I knew all about my dad leaving to give my mom the safety that he believed she needed. "I am still sorry about leaving mom but hearing what Jake said just rocked my world. I didn't know how to deal with it all. I couldn't act like nothing happened and I just thought that leaving the house for a while I would be able to find out who I am. I know who I am with my family but I didn't know who I was without you guys around me." "Nessie we all had to go through a time of finding out who we are. I just wished you could have done it closer to home. I am surprised that your father has stayed home and not gone looking for you." I laughed a little, I could picture my dad coming over here and trying to find me. I am sure he could do it with no problem. "I am just glad that you are trusting me enough to do this. I am sure it is hard to let me go but it is helping me out a lot." "Nessie I wanted to warn you, where ever you are please be careful. The Volturi are out there and I know they have been lurking around the house. I don't want them to catch you and do anything to you." I felt bad for not telling her that I was running to a new country to hide from the Volturi to make sure that I stayed safe. "I promise mom I will do my best to stay away from them. It was nice to talk but I need to get going." "I love you and I will talk to you soon." I tried not to cry as I hung up. I missed my mom but I wanted to finish this last leg of the trip.

It wasn't long after I got off the phone with my mom did the plane have to board. I knew it wasn't going to be a long trip to Paris but I was getting excited as it got closer to boarding. I remembered to turn my phone off. I didn't need Jake calling me. I was finally going in the right direction and was feeling good again. I was able to thank Alec for that. He was able to open me up again and show me that not everyone in this world had lied to me. He has told me the truth since the beginning. I boarded the flight and all I could think about was Alec being back in Voltura without anyone there to help him if things turned bad. I couldn't think about it I would only ruin this experience and that was something he didn't want me to do. The plane was in the air before I knew it, it only took a few hours to land in Paris. I had to go through customs again to get the stamp on my passport. I never thought I would get a chance to use the passport I got when I was a child but I always wanted to fill it up going to unique places and enjoying many different adventures. I walked out of the airport and couldn't believe how beautiful this was. I grabbed a taxi and headed to a hotel. I knew I wasn't going to be exploring tonight, I would wait until the morning I was too tired to do anything tonight anyways.
