Chapter 14

The bed was warm and it wasn't just because of her. She was in the arms of the person she love… Love... she hasn't thought of that in the longest. She had must have always love him since the beginning but I guess it gotten stronger over the years. Maybe that's why I'm able to forgive him so easily because of it.

Getting out of the bed I made sure that I didn't wake him up. Walking over to the view of the city. This was the best view of Taipei; it was a birthday present from Uncle. If he knew how she was using it he might have a heart attack or get Black Canary to kill her one of the two.

Picking up the phone she made a few calls. Just as she was about done strong arms wraps around her.

"Good Morning," she said as she touches his arms.

"Morning," kissing her cheek. "Whom were you talking to?"

"Airport, the jet will be here shortly," she said. "Need to head to the office."

"This coming from you"

"Don't be too shock. I do have to take care of the company"

"I just thought that you'll be taking a vacation," he kisses the side of her neck. A shiver ran down her spine. She almost gave in if she didn't push him away.

"Very tempting," she said. "But I won't fall for it twice. I have to get going."

Anastasia started to pack up a bag and pick up her Scarlet clothes from the ground and pack them up as well. Then she threw on a pair of jeans and a top. When she was completely dress she turns around and saw that Roy was dress as well. "Ready"

"Yeah," they hurry to the Airport, where her jet was waiting for then it took a few hours before they landed at Star City Airport that's when she got a call from the cave.

"Yes, one my way," she sighs as she hung up. "I just landed."

"Good luck," he said as he kisses her forehead.

"Thanks," he left her and she went to the cave.

As she walks in the cave she saw Aqualad thinking.

"Are you okay?"

"Just thinking"

"Don't think too hard," she said. She goes in the kitchen and saw Megan and Conner together. "Are you two dating?" they jump away from each other.

"Scarlet you here," Megan said.

"I'm really getting tired of you saying that," she said. "I have been doing this longer than you. So are you?"

"Well…"

"We…"

"Say no more," she said. "Just don't let it affect the team, but you do look cute together," she left the both of them with a smile. Leaving the kitchen she when to the gym and notice that the floor was soaks with water. She was just about to turn around and yell in the hallway about it but the door was block with a wall of water. "Very funny Aqualad now let me out," no one answer instead. It came to her surrounding her with water. After that everything became dark.

"Scarlet…Scarlet!"

Scarlet opens her eyes and saws that she was trap in some water sphere. She looks around and sees that all the others are trap as well.

"Scarlet!" she looks down and see that it was Wally who was calling her. She tried to punch the sphere but it just got smaller. When she opens her mouth water goes inside. She didn't have a whole lot of breath left but she can at least say a few words.

"Priority… Alpha…. Unlock…" just then she heard a click and her bracelets fell off.

"Look out!" see looks down and saw Robin and Artemis.

"Are you guys okay?"

"Forget about us help Megan," Conner said.

"Aqualad Megan is she?"

"She unconscious I fear that she… the both of us won't make it much longer," he said.

"And Scarlet?" Superboy and Kid Flash looks up and saw that she was floating in the air in a sphere of water. But it was evaporating.

"I think she took them off," Kid Flash said.

Scarlet closes her eyes once again then open then they notice that it was the color of fire.

"Yeah," Robin said. "She took it off," Scarlet hair started to change colors and her body was in flames. The water disappears.

"Look out," fireballs were thrown at robin and Artemis but then scarlet ate them hole before anything could happen.

"Thanks for the meal," she said. Now I would like a snack before the main course," she moves her hand towards Megan and Aqualad and the fire came into her palm and disappears. "Lovely," she said. "I have her"

"She's all yours," they lady with the fire started to throw fireballs at her but it didn't work.

"Find a way to shut them off!" Scarlet yells as she punches a hole right in the fire girl chest. The metal started to melt around her; then water wrap around her legs pulling her down and into the water.

"I didn't want to get this hot but," she thought.

Everyone notices that the water was starting to bubble and getting hot. Then steam started to surface from the water and it started to disappear. The level of the water started to go down and down until there was no more. Just as the water disappear and electrical plus went through the air and knock out both of the androids.

"Is everyone okay?" she asks.

"Yes"

Walking over to KF and Superboy she went and stood there for a moment and let it melt letting the both of them hot.

"Thanks but can you cool off," she notice that she was still in flame form and calm down a little it until she was able to see her skin.

"You able to control it," Robin said.

"Yes," she said. "But letter keep it a secret between our team," she grabs the bracelets and puts it back on.

Red Tornado came back, soon the machines were working as he was about to touch the one of his "siblings" something happen and Tornado went crazy and started to take the air away from them. Everyone soon passed out.

When we woke up member of the League we around us.

"What happen here?" Superman asks.

"Where are they?" Scarlet said.

"Gone all three of them are gone," Robin said.
