I don't own Tinker Bell
I did say I was finishing this right? Well, I'm going to do so. Here's another chapter for y'all to enjoy.
Tinker Bell was lounging in a patch of sunlight. It had been three days since Vidia told her that Silvermist would be pardoned. She was waiting for her friend now, wondering where she could be when screeching rent the air.
"Let me go!"
Grunts and growls sounded all around as two guards appeared holding a struggling Silvermist.
"Let me go! I can walk on my own. I said let me go!" The guards lifted into the air and Silvermist roared in frustration.
Tinker Bell lifted up and followed them, dread filling her stomach. They arrived in a clearing filled with Winter and Warm fairies.
"No!" Tinker Bell gasped, rushing down. "Vidia!"
"Tink!" Vidia raced over.
"How did this happen?"
"I don't know. The Queen just called for most everyone to gather here."
Both glanced up as Queen Clarion stepped forward. Tinker Bell watched in horror as her dream played out before her very eyes. Silvermist was sentenced to death by being eaten.
"But I thought Sil was found innocent!"
"I don't understand either! Queen Clarion told me she'd be pardoned."
The girls turned to try and plead with Queen Clarion, but the monarch held firm as Silvermist was chained to the ground. "Sil, I'm so sorry." Vidia sniffed.
"No, Vidia, I'm sorry. Tink, I'm so, so sorry."
And then, just like in the blonde's nightmares, Silvermist's eyes dulled. Several cheers filled the air. None coming from the garden fairies and most coming from the other water fairies. Numerous frost and animal fairies burst into tears and flew for home. Gliss and Spike led forward a sobbing Periwinkle.
"Silvermist." The youngest of the trio jumped forward and hugged her lover desperately. "No, you can't leave me!"
"I'm sorry, Periwinkle." Silvermist whispered. All present, even the celebrators, grew silent as they watched the water fairy hug and cradle her girlfriend. "Sh, Wink, it's ok."
"I don't want to leave you." Periwinkle sniffed. "I don't want you here alone."
"I... I have Fawn with me. I won't be alone."
"But Fawn has to work."
"I can hold my own, love."
Periwinkle shook her head. "If... if I g-go back then I c-can't see you every day to m-make sure you're alive."
Silvermist lifted her head to glare at Queen Clarion and the monarch rolled her eyes. "Periwinkle," she said gently. "You may stop by every day at noon for three hours as long as there is a guard on duty."
"Thank you so much Queen Clarion!" Periwinkle leaped up to hug her and Silvermist continued glaring at the queen as Periwinkle let go.
"Tink." The tone had changed completely to a hard one. The two lifted into the air and Periwinkle put he hands on her hips, shaping her face into an expression of anger.
"I'm pregnant again." The frost fairy murmured.
"What?" Tinker Bell cocked her head to the side.
"I miscarried. Silvermist and I made love again. So I'm pregnant again."
"Peri, I'm sorry."
"I have no one to tell my baby is her sire. She will be fatherless because of Queen Bitch. What do I do?"
"I'm sure Spike and Gliss wouldn't mind helping you take care of her, and you could say Sled was the father."
"Sled's eyes are blue." Periwinkle stated flatly.
"So?"
"What if she comes out with brown eyes?"
"She could be Spike's."
"Spike's been through enough already."
"I don't fucking know, Peri." Tinker Bell growled.
"That's the face I was going for!" Periwinkle monotoned. "Now, I'm going to keep hawks away from the Pixie Dust Tree as well as I can. I refuse to lose her."
"But how will you do that?"
"You know those animal and frost fairies that left? Yeah, they're setting up netting around Pixie Hollow, low enough to catch hawks, high enough NOT to catch fairies."
Tinker Bell nodded. "Let's get back down."
The two floated back down, glaring at each other. Periwinkle turned away just as the tinker did the same, both going to their respective girlfriends.
"I'll be back tomorrow, ok, Mistie?"
"Stay safe." Silvermist murmured, pecking her cheek.
Slowly, Periwinkle wiped away a few tears threatening to fall before flapping her wings and heading for home.
Oh goddess, what could happen next? Review and tell me what you thought of it.
