A/N: So I apologize profusely for the lack of any update for the story. Below is the rough planning/idea for the last chapter. It will not be like previous chapters and will just be a summary of what all happens. I am very sorry to everyone who has followed this story, the new and the old. When I can get to it, I will properly finish the series but for now, this will be the end. I have graduation coming up this December 2017 and am having difficulties due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey. I appreciate each and every one of you and I hope that while it will be disappointing to end in such a way, having a last look at the end of this story will help.

Where the story left off was with the team preparing to split off to simultaneously hit the two Makarov hideouts. Both segments, the level following where you play as Roach, and the next chapter where you play as MacTavish are where things will follow how the game has things ending. The differences are that Hazel and Snow have gone with Price's team as snipper report and end up separated from everyone else.

At the end of the first mission, with Ghost's team, just as Price is yelling to not trust Shepherd, Hazel is calling out to Ghost to respond. I small, garbled noise followed by a loud thump is heard before radio connection is lost.

Begin the second mission with Captain Price ordering the team to regroup so that they may escape. MacTavish is going through the motions just as in the game while Hazel and Snow are ambushed in their position. The pair barely survives, killing Shepherd's men but have lost the ability to fight back due to injuries and the difficulty to swing around a sniper rifle in a small compacted area to fend off enemies. Exhausted both physically, and in ammunitions, the pair understands that this is their last stand. Hazel says some words of encouragement to Price and MacTavish before removing his radio and trying to comfort a bleeding Snow. The noises begin to fade as the battle follows Price and MacTavish in their escape leaving the two men to rest peacefully as they await death. This does not come as Russian military personnel find the two unconscious on the ground and with the news of Price and MacTavish having killed Shepherd, are imprisoned at a dark site. The two and kept away from anyone, locked away in separate cells in solitary confinement. They will not be released until the aftermath in the third game and while Snow goes home to be with his family, Hazel makes his way to London where he smokes a cigar over a grave, Price joining him moments later.

"The job isn't done." Hazel gruffs, his voice hoarse from not talked and the scar now across his throat showing his vocal cords were injured. He was surprised he could speak but it was no matter. The words he spoke were true, the job was far from over.

"We'll rebuild the team, change the name if need be, but we will keep fighting. It's all we know how to do." Price pulls deeply on his own cigar and lets the smoke slowly swirl away from the corner of his mouth.

The two men salute their fallen comrades in sync and set off the fight whatever may come tomorrow.
