Sorry to cut that last chapter a bit short guys... please review 3 I am writing a second story also right now with an OC if you wouldn't mind reading that also to get some feedback, that would be great. One last thing before I let you guys indulge in your next chapter, I am due to have my baby in two weeks, thus it will be quite a while in between chapters, so please bear with me. Thank you.

Minerva's Point of View

Minerva couldn't possible process everything that just happened. Voldemort coming to Hogwarts? This was just crazy, not to mention putting a stop to the halloween feast. Punishing staff was also something she was having difficulty with. This meant that Amycus and Alecto no longer had to hide their secret identities anymore. This was not good, especially for her as Amycus had always seemed to be following her with lustful eyes. Minerva shivered at the thought of Amycus having his way with her. She knew that now Severus couldn't protect her or the others anymore at this point, especially since he needed to remain in cover to save his life.

Knowing she was about to walk a fine line between protecting her students and putting herself and Severus in danger. This was going to prove to be rather difficult and she knew it. Damned the powers that be. Minerva rubbed her temples and sighed. She was definitely not in the mood for any celebrating tonight. She wandered to her room and decided to take a nap until dinner.

Severus's Point of View

Severus placed candles all around the room and lit the jackolantern on his nightstand. He enchanted his curtains over his bed to shimmer orange and black, depending on how you looked at it. Severus looked at his work and nodded in satisfaction. If the halloween party couldn't happen, he wasn't going to take it from Minerva. Severus left his room and walked his way down the stairs and into the great hall for dinner. He sat at his place and looked around, noticing the lack of decorations and paintings. Frowning slightly he took his seat and waited for the rest of the staff and students.

As students and faculty filed in, he noticed that Minerva still wasn't around. He got up and walked out of the great hall and towards Minerva's private quarters. He made it up the staircase and knocked on her private rooms, but got no answer. He opened the door gently in order to see if she was there. A suspicious lump in the bed drew him into the room with caution. He lifted the covers to find Minerva fast asleep. She must be exhausted. I did tell her a lot of privileged information to protect her, but it really can wear on one's mind...

Severus carefully covered Minerva back up and made his way back down to the Great Hall where he was to announce the new school rules himself... He walked into the Great Hall which would normally be adorned with floating jackolanterns, pumpkins, garlands of orange and blacks, a starry ceiling, and many other halloween treats. At the moment; however, it was barren, the tables stood naked on the cold, dusty floor. The house colors have been taken down off the ceilings, even the stars were disenchanted to be a normal vault ceiling. The head table was bare and stood with no other meaning then to sit at it and eat.

He sighed to himself, knowing that this sad sight on halloween would not be the last. He stood at the podium and watched as the students and professors filed in, looking around in disbelief and confusion. "Everyone take their seats." Severus said in a loud, stern tone. The students complied with a little hesitation. The professors all made their way up to the head table and sat in their places.

"Now, there is going to be some changes around here. Most of which you will not like. First off, there will be no celebration today." hushed tones began to slowly fill the room as disappointed voices began to sound. "Silence!" The room quieted once more as Severus cleared his throat. "Now, defiance of any of the school rules will no longer be tolerated, no matter the circumstances. I cannot stress this enough. Amycus and Alecto are now in charge of the punishments for rule breaking. Do not do so, for you will regret it severely. Also, you are to walk in the halls, single file, and if you are not in class, you are to be in your dorms. Now, eat your meals and head off to bed."

Severus at his meal quickly and tapered off back to Minerva's private quarters to find her gone. He realized that she could be waiting in his private rooms and made his way there. He opened the door eagerly to find Minerva sitting on his bed with a grave look on her face causing him to stop dead in his tracks.

"I'm pregnant." She said plainly, clearly searching his eyes for an answer to the unasked question. Severus found himself taken back for a moment.

"You are sure?" Minerva nodded. "Then We will have to ensure no one finds out, for your safety and the baby's." Minerva looked up at him with teary eyes which caused Severus to feel a stabbing pain in his gut. She jumped off the bed and squeezed him as she sobbed into her robes.

"I'm... so sorry."

"About what? You just made me a happy father."

"I didn't... Know I could..."

"I know... I was actually hoping that when the war was over we could have a child. It was just sooner than expected. Now, let's enjoy our own private gathering of halloween fun. I prepared us some snacks, pumpkin juice, music, and an activity i'm sure you will enjoy participating in."
