Hiya!
I want to thank Wolfrunner99-2 for reviewing. :)
Since Wolfrunner99-2 Pm-ed me a good question, I'm going to put it up here.
Wolfrunner99-2: uh... yeah... how can he die? he's immortal.
My reply: I was thinking about regular people. When people think they have nothing to live for, they want to die. Or if someone sustained too many injuries, he dies.
I also don't like the thought of that you can't die even if you're immortal. If you chop the head off an immortal, does he die? If you stab a knife into an immortal and leave it there forever, does he die? The answer is probably no. So, just for this chapter, I changed the meaning of "immortal" a bit because I wanted regular people, people like us who are not immortal, to relate to this... sorta. If an immortal sustains too many injuries from another hand, he'll die. Pitch managed to convince Jack to lose hope in life as well as bleed to death. Not that I'm promoting people to lose hope in life or anything... I actually want everyone to live life to the fullest. Y.O.L.O.!
Anyways, this chapter's about Jack's view on school...
xX. Warning .Xx This chapter is short.
...
A strong wind blew through the open window bringing a bunch of flurries and blowing away the papers on a brown, wooden desk. Frost grew on the clear glass, obscuring the view of the neighborhood and creating beautiful designs at the same time.
A certain winter spirit sat on the balls of his feet and looked at his first believer. "Hiya, Jamie!"
"Jack!" Jamie replied.
"You want to go outside and play?" Jack pointed his staff straight at the small boy.
Jamie sighed, "Sorry, Jack, I can't. I've got a bunch of homework due tomorrow."
"Do you want a snow day-"
"Nah, We've missed so many school days that the teachers are getting grumpier about having to change their lesson plans."
The winter boy sat on the window sill. "Okay then. I guess I'll just have to wait until you're finished."
Jamie arched an eyebrow. "You really don't have to. I might not even get finished tonight."
"That's okay, I'm still going to support you."
"Okay then... Whatever floats your boat."
Then Jack waited.
And waited.
A minute hadn't even passed before Jack started fidgeting.
After five minutes Jack started playing with some of Jamie's toys.
After ten minutes, the winter spirit drew with his frost on the window.
Then, barely after fifteen minutes had passed, he got up and paced around the room, occasionally glancing at his believer, who was just sitting oblivious to Jack.
"Let's play, Jamie"
"It hasn't even been fifteen minutes yet."
"I'm bored..."
"Then entertain yourself."
"What do you think I've been trying to do?"
Jamie rolled his eyes, "Not my problem."
"You're so cruel," Jack said, feigning a hurt look. His eyes clearly said that he was joking.
"So..."
"I'm never going to wait for you to finish your homework again!"
"Well, if you're going to act like this. Fine."
Jack hopped onto the window sill with a smirk and flew into the crisp air. "I hate school!" he shouted.
Jamie just laughed.
First chapter about Jamie!
