"Jun-pyo..." he heard Jan Di's muffled voice sound quietly from beneath the pillow. Jun-pyo quickly stood up and walked to the other side of the bed, and sunk beneath the covers with her.

He gently grasped her shoulders and nuzzled her head under his chin, cradling her warmly.

"Gwenchana, gwenchana.." he murmured soothingly. "I'm here. Don't force yourself to speak..."

She struggled to face away from him and when she did she removed the pillow off her face; as she was crying onto his arm Jun-pyo could feel her warm tears begin to drench his sleeve. He grimaced and snuggled her even closer to him, hugging her as she continued to sob on his chest. At this point in their marriage, he knew that whenever she got upset she would rather deal with the problem by herself, before talking about it. Or sometimes worse, she didn't acknowledge the problem with anybody else at all and hid her hurt with a smile.

They laid fervently for minutes before her tears began to lessen.

"Don't cry anymore Jan Di," Jun-pyo tenderly consoled her. "Whatever it is, you can tell me. Besides, you're my one and only moon and I'm the star who'll never let you go, no matter what, remember?" he spoke softly.

She looked up at him with her tear-stained face. He looked back down at her with concern.

"What's wrong?" he asked gently.

"It's nothing." she replied weakly and put on a fake smile. "I'm fine."

Jun-pyo could see her pain through her smile and affectionately brushed the hair away from her face.

"No you're not.. what happened?" he pressed again gingerly.

Jan Di hastily moved off his chest and faced away from him again. Biting his lip, Jun-pyo pulled her into a hug again, from behind.

"Yah..." she mumbled.

"Are you hurt because of me?" Jun-pyo pondered quietly. "I'm sorry.."

"Jun-pyo.." she shakily took a breath before saying his name reproachfully, still facing away from him, as if contemplating something important. She turned to him again and looked at him passionately in the eyes.

"I'm... pregnant."

"What?!"

Jun-pyo widened his eyes from shock, but quickly recovered and cleared his throat. He gently grasped the sides of her face and wiped the remaining tears away. "Then why are you crying?" he asked her carefully.

"With all the stress, and the fact that we haven't been talking as much lately, I couldn't-"

Jun-pyo stopped her with a kiss.

"Just relax now."

As her breathing slowly averted back to normal, he stroked her back as her head rested on his chest. He had to think for a bit; the news overwhelmed him with just as much emotion as when the second she agreed to marry him. He became overcome with exuberance and instinctively kissed her again, to which she smiled in response.

Suddenly his mind went back and wandered to the night he saw Dae-hyun emerge from their room, then Ji-hoo. Wait..

He frowned at the possible thought.

"Am I the father?" he asked candidly. He could feel Jan Di frown into his shoulder as well.

"Ya..." she complained softly, startled with the question. She looked up at his puzzled face.

"Well, am I?" he tested her, his frown deepening as his expression grew more skeptical.

She sighed and opened her mouth to answer, then suddenly decided to tease him.

"Ani, I'm still unsure as to whether it's Ji-hoo sunbae or Lee Dae-hyun." she replied, completely deadpan.

She tried to stifle a smile as his expression immediately changed from a suspicious one to an anxious and perplexed one.

"Ya, Jan Di!"

"Babo!" she laughed and lightly hit his shoulder, and leaned again into his chest. "Of course you're the father." she replied softly.

He let that sink in, but he sat there, still baffled. "But I want to be sure. On that night, did you do anything with them, anything that might concern me?"

"Jun-pyo!" she muttered to his chest, then looked up at his face. "Of course not! That was just a joke!" she insisted.

"Wait," Jun-pyo started plainly. "But Ji-hoo said something earlier about Dae-hyun 'pouncing' on you. What was that about?"

Jan Di stopped, suddenly regretting not telling Jun-pyo that detail. "Well, he did do that but he didn't do anything to harm me, like I said before nothing happened from that. Ji-hoo sunbae didn't do anything to harm me either and forced him off quickly, and actually helped me a lot." she explained calmly. "Please don't consider Ji-hoo, and the rest of the F4, as bad guys. They're your friends, they've always been there for the both of us and they always will be. And I promise, nothing happened that night that would've concerned you."

"But the fact that he was there in the first place does concern me!" Jun-pyo retorted.

"Don't worry!" Jan Di quickly consoled him.

"You are definitely the father, Jun-pyo. Of our baby." she reassured him honestly. "It could only be you. I would go crazy and be out of my mind if it was anyone else."

Hearing this, Jun-pyo finally relaxed.

"Thank you." he replied sincerely and pecked her on the lips. "And thank you for being Geum Jan Di."

"Ya," Jan Di retorted back jokingly. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Thank you for being the commoner you are, the gangster, and my patch of grass that can withstand anything." he teased and grinned at her pouting face.

"I'm sorry for not believing you in the first place." he apologized and enveloped her into another hug. "I love you."

As they broke away, his earnest face abruptly transformed into an ecstatic one, one that surprised Jan Di.

"We're going to be parents! Jan Di!" he couldn't stop grinning. She grinned back at him, and this time surprised both him and herself by pulling him into an assertive yet delicate kiss.
