Hello everyone,
as you may have noticed, I haven't updated this story for 2 (O.O) years now. I'd really like to finish it soon, but I just don't have the time to keep it on a good level. When I started this fanfic, I had some ideas and wanted to have it finished within a year. Well, I guess now I understand why so many fanfics here have never been finished, unfortunately ;(
As I wrote one chapter after another, I got more and more ideas. But still, it's only a rough draft; some scenes are already written, including the end, but still I need a lot more ideas for the next chapters.
However, there came a point where I didn't want to continue this story. After the HDremaster which included the audio drama, it felt strange to continue a story which wasn't up-to-date anymore. Then I had the idea of transferring the basic idea of this story to the new situation. Interestingly, some of my ideas could fit in there very good [in my opinion ;)], so I don't condemn the audio too much (although I have to admit that some parts of it broke my heart).
Ok, so what I want to say is that I had the idea of writing another story which follows the audio drama, but follows the same basic ideas as this story. And I published the beginning of that story (in the Final Fantasy X category. Please feel free to check it out).
The bad thing about all this is, that I now have to write two storys parallelly, as they converge more and more with every chapter. And this is something I just can't do at the moment. Either I don't have the time for that or the ideas for the parts which are not written yet are missing - or both at the same time. So what I want to say is that although I have some good ideas and would like to finally finish the story as soon as possible, I don't know if I ever will do that (in the near future).
So please don't be disappointed, I'll try my best to finish this (and the other story), but I can't promise anything.
