Shattered souls…
(More death, sorry I like to add this stuff, maybe i enjoy it too much! xD)
Asriel and Frisk walked along the worn out path leading to the lake. Neither of them spoke, they were each lost in their own thoughts. Asriel bit into the ripe flesh of a peach and the sweet juice trickled down his chin. Frisk hungrily tore into the juicy flesh of a mango, quenching her thirst. The two of them reached the clearing, which was draped with the glow of sunlight. Frisks chocolate brown eyes gazed into the lake, Asriel wearily eyed the surrounding trees. Just as they both jumped into the lake, a single shadowy crow fluttered onto a branch and acted non conspicuous. The intelligent bird watched over the two of them and ate up their every move. Another crow soon followed and the two birds glared at each other. Both needing to please their master. The crows soon started to tear at each other's flesh and feathers, bringing a rain of black feathers. Soon, the second bird fell, leaving red ribbons of blood trailing behind it. The first crow cawed at its fallen foe and continued watching Asriel and Frisk. Frisk dipped into the water, embracing the cool embrace of the water. She allowed all of her thoughts to fade away. Asriel watched her shadow in the water. She seemed as natural in the water as she did on land. Asriel on the other hand, could never match her grace and beauty in the water. He preferred to stay on land, where the weather was either warm or not. Frisk eventually came up for air, gulping it down before swiftly diving down again. She could just barely keep her eyes open. Underwater everything was just so much more beautiful. She saw tiny little colourful fish darting to and fro between the corals. A tiny crab sat perched on a flat rock, occasionally grabbing one of these fish. A single little turtle glided through the water. Frisk loved it down here. Eventually she had to come up for air…again. Frisk hated tearing her attention away from these creatures for merely a second, let alone to breathe! Frisk attempted a sigh, but only swallowed water. She eventually pulled herself up and caught her breath. She wished she could stay underwater forever, but her lungs wouldn't allow her to.
Undyne looked at the hand still resting on her shoulder, should she make this deal? She looked down at Alphys, crying her heart out. She saw monster kid telling stories about how amazing she was, and she knew what decision she wanted to make. But was her decision the right one? She would soon find out… She looked up at the person behind her, he wore a knowing grin. She had seen someone like this in an anime, death note she thought it was. She had tears in her one good eye as she looked at the grinning face and nodded in defeat, "I accept your offer…A life for a life…" Undyne felt selfish after saying this, but didn't want it any other way. She looked down at Alphys, and forced herself to smile. Her victory was short lived as she felt a sharp sensation all over her body. A searing pain woke up inside of her and she screamed. A flashing light filled her vision. She was suddenly standing in front of monster kid, her greatest admirer. Monster kid was jumping up and down with excitement at seeing their idol. Undyne took an uneven breath at seeing her number one fan. Her breath was shaky and she held out one of her spears. Monster kid's eyes were filled to the brim with excitement and looked up at Undyne. "Yo! That spear is cool dude! Are you gonna let me have it?" Undyne laughed bitterly at the monster kid's questioning and said, "You can have it all right!" She plunged the blue spear through the monster kids chest. Monster Kid had a look of betrayal on their face. Monster Kids started to turn to dust and claimed, "But…You were my hero Undyne…" All that remained of the child was the fine, ash coloured dust. Undyne held back her tears as she looked at her fallen admirer. Her golden eye had faded to a dull amber. She felt the bitter taste of regret, she never should have accepted the deal…But she needed to see Alphys again…She was selfish….She knew that not even Alphys would have accepted the deal, but she had. She watched as the humid air swept away all that remained of Monster Kid. Undyne felt…guilt…This was the first time she had actually killed an innocent person…It felt awful. Her spear was covered in the fine dust, a reminder of her mistakes. She fell to her knees and sobbed. She cried for her fallen fan, and she cried for Alphys.
Undyne eventually picked herself up, she was a mess. She soberly walked up to the Hotlands. She looked up at the camera she knew Alphys kept above her door. She silently knocked on the door, with no response. She tried again, this time a very messy and sleep deprived Alphys opened the door. Her swollen, red eyes looked at Undyne through her foggy glasses. She suddenly blurted out, "I thought you were dead! How did you…." Alphys was cut off by Undynes tender embrace. Alphys flushed red at this but hugged back. Undyne looked into Alphys eyes and gave a shark like grin. Alphys suddenly looked tiny and scared. Alphys had always had a crush on Undyne…how would she admit this? Undynes scaly lips came crashing into hers, they both felt the same way for each other. Undyne picked Alphys up off of her feet as the pair continued to kiss. Eventually they pulled apart, gulping for air. They looked at each other and nervously giggled. Undyne the royal guard and Alphys the royal scientist sat for a while, gazing into each other's eyes. Alphys was the first to respond to this madness, "You felt the same way I did? Undyne, I have always had a crush on you!" Undyne nervously chuckled, "There is no monster that I wouldn't KILL to spend the rest of my moments with you Alphys…nobody…"
Frisk and Asriel were just playing around in the water when the strange short figure appeared, "Heh, you guys try to leave me behind?" Frisk squinted her eyes to see who this was. It was Sans. Sans had one glowing arctic blue eye. His smile seemed painted on and his normal eye was teary. "Why did you guys leave? The monsters…they went chaotic…They needed a ruler. But nobody came… Since all the royal guards were dead, they took it out on the next best thing…Papyrus…" Frisk held her hand over her mouth at this news, Papyrus had been a close friend. Sans continued, "They just took him away, they reached the centre of Snowdin and killed him because his failure to protect the king! They let the wind carry away his ashes… It was just…cold blooded murder…" Sans was about ready to cry, a single tear ran down from his eye, along his cheek and dripped down to his feet. The memories came back to him, like they always did…
"Sans…it will be OK! Promise me that if I die tonight…you will continue living…can you do that for me Sans?" Papyrus had looked Sans in the eye, a serious look that Papyrus had never showed anyone. Sans looked at his brother, "They can't kill you! You did absolutely nothing wrong! You're not even a royal guard!" Sans was struggling for words but Papyrus just gave him a sad look. Sans realised the scary part…Papyrus had accepted his fate. Sans screamed as the monsters came and stole his brother away from him. His tears flowed down his face as he watched them crush his brother's skull with a large stone. His brother's last words echoed in Sans mind, "Promise me that you will keep living for me! Please promise me Sans." Sans had run to Grillby's. Grillby seemed to know that he was upset and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. Sans had drank the ketchup as he tried to drown all memories of his fallen brother. Grillby looked on as Sans cried. Sans eventually rest his head on the counter as his whole body racked with sobs. Papyrus was gone…
Frisk placed a comforting hand on Sans' shoulder. She sort of knew the pain of losing someone close. Asriel had killed Chara after all, and Chara killed Toriel. She knew the pain all too well. She knew Papyrus would have hated to see Sans like this so she told him so. Sans sniffed, "I had to get away from all that…So I stole a human soul and left the Underground. But…It still hurts so much, I can't believe that he is gone. He believed in you Frisk, he believed you could make a change. I didn't have the heart to tell him that you were gone…I just couldn't…" Sans looked depressed at these thoughts. Asriel looked at the skeleton, sympathy building for this grieving brother. "Sans...I'm so sorry, I know how that feels, Chara killed both of my parents…and Frisk nearly died as well…I wish that I could help your pain…but I can't…" Asriel looked over at sans. His eyes were big, sort of like anime eyes, and they were filled with tears. He hated re living the past. He knew Sans probably did too. The three of them finally let their pasts consume them. They were all overwhelmed with grief and sorrow.
Viv stalked through the darkness of the forest. She soon reached a castle. Just outside said castle, a man was sitting, sword three feet away from him. Viv grinned and placed her new, milky white mask on. Her wine red eyes scanned her surroundings. She held her scythe beside her. She ran into the clearing in front of the castle. The man stood up. His black hair rustled with the wind. He took a few steps and plucked his sword out of the ground. He looked at Viv's masked face. "I was wondering what Cindy's new lackey looked like…I'm guessing you're here for the sword and my death." How did he know? "Yes…now if you could just stay still for a second…This won't hurt a bit! Tien!" She grinned and their weapons clashed. Their eyes locked and Viv knew he was watching her every move. He took a step back and swung his sword. He caught her in the chest. The sound of metal against metal filled the clearing. Viv was lucky she had the decency to bring her chest plate with her. She spat at the ground. "Pathetic…try a bit harder than that! Got it?" Viv laughed bitterly as she swung her scythe. Adrenaline pumped through her veins. Tien eagerly gained ground as his sword swung. Viv saw an opening and he went for it. She swung her scythe ad his sword was knocked to the left. She saw the fear in his eyes. His soul flashed a violent orange right in front of his heart. Viv smiled sweetly as she plunged her scythe directly down the middle of it. She heard the sweet sound of his soul shattering and cracking. It split into a million pieces as his glassy eyes rolled back in his head. Red ribbons of blood plummeted from his chest as he fell backwards, hand reached out for his sword. Viv kicked his corpse into a stupid Michael Jackson pose. This was her last sign of disrespect to her fallen foe. She strode forwards and picked up his sword. It was a peacock blue and had a glassy shine to it. She shrugged as she picked it up. She looked down at her watch. She had enough time to capture Ella as well. She hoped. She walked backwards and blended in with the forest as her laugh rung out in the forest. Crows and ravens joined in and soon the whole forest was alive with the death on Tien.
Ella sat on the edge of a stone. She looked into the glassy koi pond outside of her palace and admired her reflection. Her brownish blonde hair was framed around her face, her brown eyes were filled with hate and her soul was black. A figure stepped into the clearing behind her. This new figure grabbed her weapon and hit the back of her head with the end of her weapon. Ella collapsed and was dragged back by her hair to Cindy. When Ella woke up she saw a dragon's curious eye staring her down. The dragon pulled its head up and roared for death. A new figure stepped into the clearing. "You could have been strong with me, we could have combined our strengths Ella. But alas, you declined thus sealing your fate. I'm surprised you lasted this long…This proves that my new, silver assassin is clearly superior to all her processors. Any last words dear?" Cindy was enjoying this. Ella felt the dried blood on the back of her head and spat at Cindy's feet. "Pathetic, what you going to get your new assassin to kill me for you? Is this how it is going to end?" Ella looked desperate for escape. "Why should I let her have all the fun?" Cindy looked like a cat toying with a mouse or a bird. She let Ella get a head start. Astoroth picked Ella up with the end of his tail and dropped her in front of Cindy. Cindy grinned, "Goodbye!" Ella's screams filled the air. Cindy struck Ella down with Tien's sword. Ella fell to the ground trailing crimson ribbons as she went. Cindy laughed as the thousands of crows above her swooped down and picked at Ella's fallen corpse. Astoroth blew a puff of air and the birds flew off. Ella's expression was wide eyed and gaping mouthed. Astoroth gingerly picked her up in his mouth and threw her body into the air. He caught her in his mouth and ate her body with a sickening crunch. Everything in the clearing was silent. The birds cried their death song.
Frisk and Asriel attempted to comfort Sans, with little success. "Is it selfish of me to want to die right now? To kill myself in order to see Papyrus one last time?" He looked incredibly serious, a new look on him. Asriel and Frisk glanced at each other and they bother grimaced. Asriel sighed and faced Sans, "Sans, I get that you want to see him again but…Sans, it isn't selfish but…Papyrus wouldn't of wanted you to do this, not for him. But if this is truly what you want…you can do it yourself. I'm not ending a weak skeleton because he is too scared to be alone! Pull yourself together Sans…Maybe you can find someone else to help keep you comforted, but for what it helps…He would have preferred for you to live Sans, so don't live for yourself, live for Papyrus." Asriel looked as though he knew this from experience. Sans looked up at him, "I'll try…catch you later…or whatever…" Sans left the two alone. Asriel stared Frisk down, "Promise me that you won't ever put me through that Frisk! I swear if you do…" He cut off and swept Frisk off of her feet. She giggled and looked into his eyes. She looked up at him and he down at her. The two gently closed their eyes and passionately kissed. It wasn't as strong as Undyne and Alphys, but it was still just as special. The two blushed a rosy pink, Frisks more noticeable then Asriels. The two looked at each other as their eyes locked. Once again they kissed and their blush got even more noticeable. Frisk looked at Asriel and she said sweetly said, "What would you do without me hmmm?" She had a slight teasing tone to her voice and Asriel gave her a dead serious look, "Frisk, I would die if I didn't have you with me or by my side, Frisk…I love you, don't you ever forget that OK?" Frisk looked at him knowingly after he finished and she simply said, "Asriel, you know that I love you as well…and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you were gone, so if you die, I die with you!" The two looked at each other, finally realising that they had just blurted out their feelings for each other. The two were positively glowing as they realised that they both felt the same way about each other.
Chara was growing impatient, Flowey as well. Their plan wasn't working. Chara had let a flower think up a plan and it had failed. Chara flushed red with embarrassment. She had to think of a new plan, fast! "Your plan obviously didn't work, Flowey! We need a better one!" Chara pondered her options, grinning when she realised what needed to happen, "We need to die! We kill each other at the same time and then we respawn in the world of dead monsters…We overthrow the balance and come back into the world of the living!" Chara was bubbling with excitement. The two locked eyes, Chara knife in hand, Flowey vine poised at her throat, "NOW!" The timing was perfect. They both died at the same time. A bright light flashed and they were suddenly in the world of dead monsters. Toriel stared wearily at her adopted child, "Chara…I have some choice words for you and killing pretty much everyone here…" Toriel was fuming with rage. This was a part of the plan the Chara forgot to plan…Never get between Toriel and her children. Or else you would pay the ultimate price. Toriel scowled as she looked at Chara, "You were the worst child I ever had!" Toriels eye had a menacing gleam that Chara had never seen before. All the fallen monsters stood behind Toriel, Flowey included. "You don't deserve to be in this realm, tonight you can burn in hell!" All the monsters chorused together. Chara had an actual look of fear on her face. Things were going to get serious!
