Chapter Fourteen

"Mom! Dad!" Daisuke shouted watching as her parents crashed into the ground far from the base as it too fell.
"So those are your parents?" Cody asked Daisuke who nodded.
"Yeah."
"If they are your parents then where have they been your whole life?" Yolei asked her.
"They just found out I was alive after twelve years, and as for where they've been? In another dimension," Daisuke answered.
"That's impossible," TK said making Daisuke glare at him.
"Was I asking for your opinion?" she asked. She walked off towards where she saw her parents and Kimeramon land.
"Where are you going?" Daisuke turned to glare at TK.
"To help my family. I just found them again and I won't lose them now," she answered before Firamon walked up to her and she climbed onto his back.
"Good luck," Cody told her.
"I make my own luck. But thanks," she replied with a smile and Firamon ran off before taking to the sky and flying towards Naruto, Tayuya and Kimeramon.
"Tayuya are you okay?" Naruto asked between coughs.
"Yeah," Tayuya replied. "Where is that thing?" she asked as the dust started to clear.
"I don't see it," Naruto answered his wife. "Did we kill that thing?" he asked with hope in his voice.
"HEAT VIPER!" They heard Kimeramon roar and both shinobi jumped into the air. A green flame soared through a sand dune and destroyed it, sending sand everywhere. Kimeramon was seen standing there and he chuckled.
"Does that answer your question, Naruto?" Tayuya asked rhetorically.
"Destroy them Kimeramon!" Ken commanded his creation that roared and jumped at the two shinobi. Both jumped backwards.
"WIND STYLE: DRILLING AIR BULLETS!"
"FIRE STYLE: PHOENIX FLOWER JUTSU!"
Both shinobi shouted together, and their attack combined into a rain of fiery meteors upon their enemy. Several horrible burns covered portions of his body, but Kimeramon seemed otherwise unhampered by the attack.
"How the hell are we going to beat this thing? It's just keeps shrugging off our jutsu, and he's so big that he can take ridiculous amounts of damage and keep fighting."
"I have an idea, but you need to be able to buy me a few seconds," Naruto told his wife who looked at him. Her eyes widened at what her husband was thinking.
"But….we don't know if you can do it in this world," she told him.
"I have to try, I can't use that jutsu without it, so if that doesn't work I have to draw on Kurama's power," he said and Tayuya groaned but nodded.
"Right, but you better fucking hurry up with it. I don't know how long I can hold this guy off without your help." Naruto nodded and jumped backwards. He sat down, confusing Ken when a shuriken suddenly flew past the evil genius.
"Pay attention asshole. I still need to fucking kill you for feeling up my daughter," Tayuya said as chains shot out of her arms and waved around like an octopi's tentacles. "Come on fugly!" she shouted, and Kimeramon roared as he jumped at Tayuya only for the chains to slam into him and lacerate him. One chain wrapped around his top right arm and Tayuya roared. She pulled and the chain tugged. A snap and pop was heard and Kimeramon roared in pain as one arm landed on the ground before it disintegrated into nothingness.
"You will pay for that you bitch!" Ken told Tayuya.
"Come and get it then," she replied with a feral smirk. Kimeramon roared in anger at the loss of its limp and it slammed its other arms down towards Tayuya who jumped backwards. The chains shot down and impaled various parts of Kimeramon's body, making him roar before he grabbed one of the chains and lifted it into the air. Tayuya flew before Kimeramon slammed her down into the ground, causing the other chains to vanish. "Fuck, that hurt," she groaned standing up, and she rubbed some blood from her lips before smirking. Smearing the blood on her palm, she weaved through handsigns. "SUMMONING JUTSU!" she shouted slamming her palm down, and three large clouds of smoke erupted. The trio of ogres appeared, and Tayuya then took out her flute and played a melody. The three ogres roared and they ran towards Kimeramon.
"HEAT VIPER!" it roared firing a green flame towards the three ogres, but Tayuya played a note and they jumped into the air and slammed into monster.
"Shithead! How much longer!?" she shouted at Naruto. His eyes snapped over, eyelids and the skin around the corner of his eyes having turned orange. Tayuya looked back and she saw her ogres thrown away by Kimeramon and they vanished in clouds of smoke.
"Your daughter tried that pathetic trick before, but it won't work against Kimeramon," Ken told Tayuya.
"But this will! WIND STYLE: RASENSHURIKEN!" Naruto shouted as a deafening screeching sound was heard, and Ken looked to see Naruto holding up a massive shuriken made of wind in his hand and he threw it towards Kimeramon.
"Kimeramon, get out of the way!" Ken demanded, but the attack flew too fast and nailed Kimeramon. A massive sphere of wind blades burst forth and grinded Kimeramon back into the digital particles from which it originated. "How….? That should have been impossible. He was my perfect creation." Ken's face calmed. "This was not a completely unforseen situation though, never say I don't make contingencies. First I need you out of the way. It's experimental, but I don't see why it wouldn't hold you." He tossed a small cube towards the two shinobi. They tensed for a moment, and try to jump away when the cube suddenly expanded into an energy cage that trapped them."
"You think this will hold us?" Tayuya asked Ken. She punched the cage with her hand covered in chakra, but she was violently zapped and the chakra on her fist was sucked into the cage.
"Like it? This design I came up with to deal with Daisuke and her strange fox like chakra. I analysed the chakra she uses to perform her feats, and all energy follows certain rules. Extensive research and testing allowed me to create a type of counter energy that absorbed chakra to maintain its own corporeality. As long as you use chakra to escape, the stronger the cage will become," Ken told Naruto and Tayuya. "And I assure you, it's too strong for you to escape without using chakra, which in turn makes the cage stronger."
"Like I'll believe you. RASENGAN!" Naruto shouted as he slammed a sphere of chakra into the cage and the attack was sucked into the cage.
"Mom! Dad!" Daisuke shouted as she and Firamon landed. Daisuke jumped off her partner and ran to the cage before she tried to punch it. Unfortunately she bounced off.
"You won't be able to free your parents Daisuke. And you have more things to worry about!" Ken shouted and another roar was heard and Daisuke and Firamon looked to see another Kimeramon fly towards them. "Unfortunately I wasn't done with this one. It's still a prototype and I had wanted to add to it so that I would truly have the ultimate Digimon under my thumb. Don't get me wrong though, this one is every bit as strong as the one you just fought and is far harder to kill."
"Oh yeah?" Daisuke asked as she ran towards the second Kimeramon. "MULTI SHADOW CLONE!" she shouted and twenty clones appeared and they charged towards Kimeramon. "SHURIKEN SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" the clones shouted tossing shurikens and they multiplied into a hailstorm of metal flew towards Kimeramon. The attacks failed to even stick to the monster's body, leaving it unaffected.
"HEAT VIPER!" Kimeramon roared and it fired a green flame towards the clones and the original Daisuke. She managed to jump out of the way, but the rest of her clones were turned into clouds of smoke.
"WIND STYLE: AIR BULLETS!" Daisuke shouted breathing bullets of compressed air towards Kimeramon making it chuckle at her.
"FIRA CLAW!" Firamon roared as his front legs were covered in fire and he lunged at Kimeramon. He sliced him and left scars, but Kimeramon picked up Firamon and slammed him into the ground several times.
"Firamon!" Daisuke shouted as she ran at Kimeramon. She jumped onto his head and stabbed his eye with a tri-pronged kunai, making Kimeramon scream in pain and let Firamon go. Kimeramon grabbed Daisuke in his remaining top arm and squeezed. "Is that the best you got?" she taunted it. Kimeramon growled and slammed her into the ground in front of her trapped parents. Daisuke gasped from the pain and felt her bones creak in protest, only held intact by the chakra coursing through them.
"Daisuke!" Tayuya shouted in worry. Daisuke staggered to her feet and held her hand out. A Rasengan formed in it.
"RASEN-!" Daisuke managed to say before she was swatted away by Kimeramon's tail and smashed into the energy cage. She screamed in pain as she was electrified.
"Daisuke!" Firamon roared as he started to glow bright orange.
"What!?" Ken shouted in shock.
"FIRAMON…DIGIVOLVE….TOO…..FLAREMON!" Firamon bellowed as he turned into a bipedal lion with a longer mane of golden hair, his tail became longer, he lost his wings and he gained a chest plate with a large orb of fire in the centre of it. Daisuke smirked weakly as she saw her partner evolve.
"Take him buddy," Daisuke told Flaremon who nodded.
"RED LION DANCE!" he roared and his fists and feet were set aflame and he jumped and delivered rapid fire almost unnoticeable kicks and punches to Kimeramon sending him flying into a sand dune. When the monster stood up it was covered in burns, though appeared otherwise unhindered by them and indeed they were healing before their very eyes.
"He's still standing? Even after that?" Daisuke thought shocked. "How can we beat him if he shrugs off an attack like that? Forget that, how do we beat him if he just keeps healing?"
"Daisuke….I'll help you this time," she heard Kurama tell her and Daisuke appeared in front of the cage.
"You….."
"Is this all it takes to do you in? I don't think so," Kurama said.
"You're right. I will beat this thing. But how can I do that?" she asked him and Kurama chuckled.
"As usual. Not a glimpse of surrender in your eye."
"Just you wait. I'll find a way to help Flaremon defeat him," Daisuke told him.
"If you want to borrow my power. I will not object," Kurama informed her.
"I'm glad you want to offer me some power. But before that…thanks," Daisuke said.
"Hmm?" Kurama asked.
"For always being there for me. Even though you acted like an ass all the time, I knew somehow that you always cared for me," Daisuke answered.
"Don't get mushy on me. The only reason I did that was I didn't want a weak and pathetic vessel. Yup. It was just to pass the time," Kurama said looking away.
"Why've you got to be such a jerk? If we're gonna be partners you need to work on your attitude pal," Daisuke said. Kurama sighed as he put his hand through the bars confusing Daisuke.
"Bond our chakra together," he told her.
"You think I'm stupid? You'll try to take over or something," Daisuke said.
"Trust me, or don't. It is your choice, and you will have to pay the price of both doing so and not doing so," Kurama told her. Daisuke's eyes closed for a moment before she smiled and bumped fists with Kurama. The two chuckled.
"You're not a monster. You're not that bad," Daisuke told him and the cage doors slowly opened. "After all you're my partner…..KURAMA!" Daisuke shouted and Kurama's eyes widened. "So….lets…..kick ass!"
"Right," Kurama told her. Outside in the real world the fighting stopped as purple chakra swirled around Daisuke making everyone look at her.
"RAAAAAH!" she shouted and she was enveloped in a flash of purple and yellow light. Naruto and Tayuya's eyes widened as they saw their daughter standing on her two feet and her body started to morph. Her hair became spikier and the front bangs turned into horns, her whisker marks became more solid black bars, her entire body glowed purple as a tattered cape appeared and a swirl appeared on her stomach and on her shoulders.
"No way," Naruto gasped in awe.
"What is this?" Ken asked as a giant purple nine tailed fox with piercing golden eyes appeared around Daisuke and it roared and the energy cage imprisoning Naruto and his wife shattered.
"Dai," Flaremon said and Daisuke nodded.
"Kimeramon! Destroy them!" Ken ordered, Kimeramon roared.
"HEAT VIPER!" it bellowed shooting a green flame towards Daisuke who waved her hand and sent a shockwave towards the fire. It was thrown back into Kimeramon making the monster crash to the ground.
"Let's go Kurama!" Daisuke shouted and the giant fox lunged at Kimeramon and bit into the mix and match Digimon's shoulder making it roar in pain. The fox punched Kimeramon in the face sending it flying back towards the downed base.
"Let me guide you," Kurama whispered in her ear. She felt her chakra begin to move in a strangely familiar way.
"Let's finish this," Daisuke said. She held her hands out and Kurama opened his mouth. A giant ball of chakra slowly formed. "TAILED BEAST BOMB!" she and Kurama roared as they fired their attack together and it soared across the ground. Kimeramon looked up just as the attack made contact with him and a massive mushroom cloud appeared. Kimeramon roared as he was deleted along with the base. Kurama then vanished and Daisuke landed to her feet and she fell to her butt.
"Dai!" Flaremon said as he turned back to Coronamon and Naruto and Tayuya ran up to her.
"I'm fine," Daisuke said panting heavily.
"That was awesome baby girl," Naruto said as he pecked his daughter on the forehead and she smiled as Tayuya hugged her as well….just then a tear opened up and everyone including Ken looked at it to see a man with grey hair wearing glasses jumped out of the portal. "Kabuto!?"
"How the fuck did he get here?" Tayuya asked as the man stood up and adjusted his glasses and he looked at Naruto, Tayuya and Daisuke with an arrogant smirk.
