Sorry for the wait. I know this is a shorter chapter but I really wanted to get this posted. I am hoping to wrap this story up kinda soon, so the next couple chapters are going to deal with getting info and hopefully finding Faith. Of course I am going to throw in a little drama and angst. Emma returned home at around 5:30PM to find Henry and David in the pool, Regina sitting on the edge of the pool with her feet dangling in, and Snow was inside reading.

Emma smiled at the view and thought 'I could get used to this".

Henry was the first to see Emma, "MA! This pool is awesome! Join us!"

Emma smiled and walked over. She stood next to Regina and rolled up the legs of her jeans. Emma then sat next to Regina and put her feet into the water. Henry swam over and said, "Come on Ma!"

Emma smiled and said, "Sorry Hen, I have to get ready soon. Alex is going to be here at 7:20."

Regina looked over at Emma and said, "I thought you were finished for the day?"

Emma sadly looked over at Regina and said, "I wish. But there was a new development and Alex and I need to check it out."

Henry sighed and said, "Fine. But I want pizza for dinner."

Emma chuckled and said, "That's what it's going to take for you to forgive me?"

Henry just smiled and said, "Yeah, pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese."

Emma smiled and said, "It's ok with me. Just call the chef"

Regina cleared her throat and said, "Don't forget spinach."

Henry scrunch up his nose and said, "Aww come on Mom.."

Regina shook her head and said, "If you are going to eat that grease on a plate, you are going to have to eat spinach with it."

Henry groaned and said, "Fiiinnnnee"

Henry then pushed off the wall and swam over towards the deeper end of the pool.

Emma chuckled and turned back to Regina, "You drive a hard bargain."

Regina rolled her eyes and said, "It's your fault he eats such unhealthy foods"

Emma shrugged and said, "What can I say, we both love good food."

Regina sighed and was about to reply when Emma leaned over and planted a firm kiss on Regina's lips.

Emma pulled back and smiled, "What were you saying?"

Regina chuckled and kissed Emma again. They kissed until Henry yelled out and said, "Ugh, come on moms!"

Emma and Regina broke the kiss and blushed a little.

David was chuckling at Henry's reaction.

Emma gave Regina one last kiss and stood up, "I need to shower and get ready."

Regina nodded and said, "I'm going inside to dry off."

They both stood up and walked towards the house. Emma and Regina passed Snow on their way to their room.

Snow saw the couple and quickly called out, "Emma! Emma wait a second."

Emma sighed and turned to Snow, "Yea, Snow? What's up?"

Snow looked at Emma and said, "Well I, I just, I wanted to talk with you about your friend Alex. I don't think you should spend time with her, she seems like a bad influence"

Emma rolled her eyes and rubbed her forehead, "Snow the thing you need to understand is that I am a grown woman. Who I choose to spend time with is my decision. Now if you want, we can discuss my past with Alex at another time, but right now I need to get ready."

Emma didn't wait for Snow's answer before she turned towards the stairs and took Regina's hand pulling her up the stairs.

Regina sat on the bed reading while she waited for Emma to finish her shower.

When Emma emerged from the shower 40 minutes later Regina placed the book on the night table and watched as Emma dried off.

Emma caught Regina's stare in the mirror and smiled. Emma put on a lacy black bra and thong before walking into her closet.

Emma called to Regina, "Hey babe, before I go tonight I need you to know that I love you, and only you; no matter what you see, hear, or read about."

Regina furrowed her eyebrows and called back, "And just why are you retelling me this?"

Regina could hear Emma sigh, "Because Alex and I are going to a restaurant that we used to frequent when we were together, and during that time we had a very... open relationship. There might be someone there we used to associate with. I just don't want the rumor mill to be going and for you to not know what is going on."

Regina thought about Emma having to be with someone else and was almost sick to her stomach.

Emma poked her head around the corner to see Regina when she didn't get a response.

Emma sighed and said, "Gina, I am doing everything I can to find faith and to put this behind us."

Regina looked at Emma and saw the sincerity in her eyes. Regina nodded and said, "I know, I just hate thinking about other people touching you."

Emma nodded and smiled in understanding. Emma then went back to finish getting dressed, "Hey, the only person permitted to touch me anytime is you. And Alex only touches me when we have to keep up appearances. I promise."

Emma finished getting dressed, applying her makeup, and and putting her shoes on when she emerged from the closet.

Regina's jaw dropped when she was the blonde. Emma was wearing an all black, long sleeved dress that seemed plain and boring in the front, but had a completely open back which scooped all the way down to Emma's lower back dimples. There were stones placed at the curve of the back, that glistened in the light. Emma was wearing silver 4 inch heels making her already tall form tower over Regina.

Emma had on light neutral toned make up and had styled her long blonde hair to flow over her left shoulder.

Emma looked at Regina and said, "How do I look?"

Regina licked her lips and said, "Stunning. You looked absolutely stunning."

Emma smiled at Regina shyly and said, "Thanks" Emma finished her make up and put in small diamond earrings. As soon as she was done the doorbell rang.

Emma chuckled and said, "Well I'll be damned. Vause is actually on time. I guess Piper whipped her into shape."

David then called up to Emma, "Emma, ummm.. Ms. Vause is here."

Regina took Emma's hand and gave her a chaste kiss on the lips, carefully to not mess up her make up, then led her to the stairs.

Emma smiled at Regina and chuckled saying, "Let's go before Alex gets bored and starts to rile up Snow."

Regina smiled and said, "If I wouldn't be stuck with her I would say leave them be. But since I can't bare to leave this place we should definitely head downstairs"

Regina helped Emma down the stairs and led her to Alex.

Alex was standing talking with Henry while she waited for Emma. Alex ignored the death glares that were sent her way from David and Snow and chose to focus her attention on Henry.

Alex smiled at Henry and said, "Hi, I don't think we have been formally introduced. I'm Alex."

Henry smiled and said, "I know. My moms told me about you. But it's nice to finally meet you, I'm Henry."

Alex smirked and said, "Now I know for sure that Emma didn't raise you. You are too well mannered."

It was then that Emma and Regina decided to grace them with their presence.

Emma chuckled and said, "I take offense to that you ass hat."

Regina just pinched Emma's side and said, "Language and she is correct."

Alex smiled at Henry and then turned around to look at Emma. Alex was about to say a witty come back when the words died on her tongue.

Alex raked her eyes over Emma and took a deep breath, "I you weren't with Regina and I wasn't with Piper I swear."

Emma smiled and said, "You don't look bad yourself Vause."

Alex smiled and did a quick 360, "Thank you, thank you. But seriously Emma you look.. beautiful. You may be a intimidating, stone cold, bad ass during the day, but you can still rock an evening gown with the best of them."

Emma blushed a little and quickly changed the subject, "You ready to go? These shoes are already starting to hurt."

Alex walked over to Emma extending her hand for Emma to take. Before Emma took Alex's hand she gave Regina a kiss and whispered, "If I am going to be really late or not coming home tonight I'll send you a txt. I love you."

Regina nodded and said, "I love you too."

Emma then took Alex's hand and waved over her shoulder to Snow, David, and Henry quickly shouting out, "See you guys later!"

Alex walked Emma to her blood red 1956 Jaguar 140 XK. This car was basically Alex's baby.

Snow, David, Henry, and Regina followed Emma and Alex to the car. David whistled at the car and said, "Wow, now that is a car."

Emma saw the car and stopped and smiled at Alex, "You kept her."

Alex looked at Emma and said, "Of course I did! After all our hard work. Of course I kept her. I could never get rid of Jane."

Emma smiled and ran her hand along the door of the car. Alex then opened the door and helped Emma into the car, before walked to the drivers side and sliding in.

Alex handed Emma the keys and said, "I may be driving but do you want to do the honors?"

Emma nodded and took the keys. She then put the key into the ignition and started Jane. Emma closed her eyes and felt the car rumbled beneath her hand.

Alex looked at Emma, whose eyes were still closed, with love. Emma then opened her eyes and looked at Alex. Emma smiled and removed her hand, "You ready?"

Alex nodded and switched gears. Emma turned towards her family and waved as Alex took off.

Regina stood and watched as Emma and Alex drove off. David and Henry went back to the tv but Regina and Snow stayed behind.

Snow looked at Regina's crestfallen face and asked, "You ok Regina?"

Regina looked at Snow and said, "I can feel her slipping away and I don't know how to stop it."

Snow looked at Regina with sad eyes and said, "Be there when she falls and help her back up."

Snow then gave Regina a moment to herself and went back inside.

Regina stood in the doorway thinking, praying, that Emma can find her way back to their old life; but more importantly find her way back to Regina.
