Chapter 14: Homeland
August 31, Terminus Cave, Kalos, 1 pm…
The Zygarde began to slowly change shape. Its sluggish tail grew longer and wider. Its tentacles became much more distinct and longer, almost matching that of a Deoxys. The five black appendages on its back changed directions. Two were pointing left, two were pointing right, and the remaining one folded downwards, making the appendages look like dark wings.
Blue watched the Zygarde change and soon realized something. She could feel the same odd, uneasy feeling she had when she toured Couriway Town earlier. But that feeling was much stronger now. She concluded that it was Zygarde that was giving off this unnatural aura. But that felt strange. Peter carried Zygarde with him, given how it was in his Ultra Ball. And Peter wasn't in Couriway Town at that time. Was Zygarde's energy always gathered around the Terminus Cave? Or was there another cause?
The Zygarde finished changing. It was completely restored to its original strength, and it was now exuding more power than it did before.
"Yes, the restoration is complete," Peter said from the side. "But Zygarde is not ready. More time is required for all of the lost strength is regained."
"So, what now?" Blue asked.
"We head to Kanto," Peter answered. "And we finish off the Dex Holders. They must not stop the restoration."
Blue suddenly noticed that whenever Peter talked, a small hexagonal eye on Zygarde's body blinked. Strange… Was Zygarde trying to understand him? Or memorizing his words? Or something… else?
"Diantha, Korrina," Peter called. "Carry out the plan. Korrina, find the Tree of Life. Diantha, find the Cocoon of Destruction. Restore them to their full strength as well."
"As you command," the two said in unison.
Blue noticed that two other small eyes on Zygarde blinked when they spoke too. Hmm… would another small eye blink when she spoke?
"What are they looking for?" she asked as she eyed Zygarde. No eyes blinked. Interesting…
"Two other Pokémon that need restoration," Peter answered. Again, Zygarde's small eye blinked. "There are more Pokémon that require restoration, but to do that, we need to deal with the Dex Holders." He looked into her eyes as he asked her an important question. "I know that you want to fight. But do your Pokémon want to fight their former friends?"
Blue nodded. "Of course they are." And it was true. Over the years, they watched her closely. They watched her as she spent years all alone. They watched her cry all by herself from time to time, and more importantly, they saw how lonely she was all day every day for years. And they knew just as well as the girl herself that the other Dex Holders were responsible for all of this. They hated the other Dex Holders almost as much as Blue hated them.
Blue took out a Pokéball and watched her Blastoise inside. The Pokémon gave her a determined nod, indicating that it was ready and perfectly willing to fight the other Dex Holders. Peter saw the nod and nodded in approval. And with that, he headed outside. Blue followed him and with Peter riding his Mega Salamence and Blue riding Hydreigon she borrowed for this flight (much faster than Wigglytuff), the two flew towards Kanto at a rapid rate.

August 30, Viridian City, 6:30 pm…
…
"We should not have left him behind," Platinum said as she kept glancing backwards.
"He'll be fine," X said as he walked ahead. "His Pokémon are defensive in nature. He'll do great in situations like this."
"I am aware of his Pokémon," Platinum said as she looked at her junior. "But Diamond is a slow runner. All of his Pokémon are also very slow. If he is overwhelmed, he will not be able to escape. And he is all alone. We should have fought alongside him…"
"Lady Platinum, I know how you feel," White said from the side. "It wouldn't feel right for me to leave Black behind either. But if we stay with him, we'll most likely distract him. He'll need to protect us and find a way to repel the enemy. We wouldn't be able to help him."
"But… Diamond…" Platinum began, looking quite worried.
"He'll be okay," White said again.
"He borrowed a Flying type Pokémon from Crystal to get here quickly," X said. "So he'll be able to escape quickly. Don't worry about him."
"Let's just keep going," Y said from the side, sounding a bit out of breath. "The faster we get to Red and the others, the better we'll be."
"How are you keeping up?" X asked as he turned to face her.
Y avoided eye contact and purposely walked a little faster. "I'm okay."
Platinum glanced at Y and noticed that she looked to be in pain. But the Kalos Dex Holder was fighting through, clenching her hands and teeth to withstand the pain. The heiress let out a short sigh and stopped expressing her concern for Diamond. There were more pressing issues to worry about, though personally, she worried more about Diamond than Y.
Before long, the group spotted Red and the others in the distance, running towards them. White had called them earlier, so that they could meet them faster. The Dex Holders all let out a sigh of relief and soon reunited.
"Platinum! You're okay!" Red said as he ran towards the group. Gold and Sapphire followed him while scanning around in case there were enemies somewhere.
"Miss President, are you okay?" Black asked as he stopped in front of her.
White gave him a warm smile. "Yes. Thanks for asking. I admit things did get a little scary when that Mega Hunter's scouts came after us in the hospital, but we're unharmed."
"Here are your Pokémon, by the way," Sapphire said as she took off her bag and opened it.
"Thank you," Platinum said as she took her healed Pokémon back first. "Now I can go help Diamond if needed be…"
"He's coming right now," Sapphire said as she squinted into the distance. "On a… Pidgeotto."
"Yeah. That should be him," X said.
Platinum let out a sigh of relief and took several steps towards the oncoming Pidgeotto. The Pokémon soon came close enough for the heiress to see Diamond holding onto it.
"Diamond!" she shouted in joy. She quickly ran towards him just as Diamond let go of the Pidgeotto to land on the ground.
"Hi, Lady," he said with a bright smile. "I'm back!"
"Diamond! I am so glad to see that you are safe!" the heiress said as she stopped in front of him. But she forced a stern expression. "Please do not worry me like this ever again. If you get hurt, I will never forgive myself. And I will never forgive you as well."
Diamond chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Yes, Lady. I'll be careful."
"Good." Platinum's expression significantly lightened. "Now that we are all here, we can head back to Johto without worries." She took out her notebook from her bag. "I wrote down a possible strategy against the Mega Hunter after collecting detailed accounts of all the previous battles. It may be of some use to us."
"It's really great," White said. "With the strategies she came up with, I'm sure we'll win against the Mega Hunter now."
"Then let's get going to Violet City," Red said. "The faster Green and Crys see this, the faster we prepare to fight back."
…
Next day, August 31, 8 am…
…
Green stared at the notebook Platinum had given him the previous night. He read it over a few times before going to sleep, and now, he was reading it again. To carry this plan out, the Dex Holders would need to prepare quite a bit.
… If only Blue was here… She would be invaluable in helping the junior Dex Holders prepare.
Green let out a sigh as he looked out through the windows. "… Blue, where are you?" he muttered quietly. "Damn it, we need you more than ever… and you're gone somewhere… and it's my fault…"
He soon forced himself to focus on the notebook. Blue would've come up with a better strategy much faster too. But right now, Platinum and Crystal were all that he had. Not that he was belittling everyone else, but those two girls were smarter than everyone else.
The plan Platinum had come up with was quite big in scale. To put it simply, the Dex Holders had to fully utilize the number's advantage. Fighting the Mega Hunter directly would end up disastrous. Instead, the Dex Holders had to divide the roles but in a way that felt like the entire formation was a giant web. A few Dex Holders had to face the destructive force of the Mega Hunter's melee Pokémon up close. Then those Dex Holders would back off, and another small group would take their place, allowing their predecessors to recover and regroup. Then another small group would take the brunt of the Mega Hunter's Pokémon again, and after a while, the first group would take their place once more. It would be like large wheel spinning. The Mega Hunter's Pokémon would have to fight constantly while the Dex Holders rested in between. To carry this out, the Dex Holders who had to fight would require tremendous amount of training and preparation. And Yellow's healing powers had to be utilized quite often.
While the wheel would spin, a couple of Dex Holders had to watch the battlefield closely. Wherever the enemy was gaining superiority, they had to interfere and assist. Some of the Dex Holders would have to attack the Mega Hunter's Pokémon from behind, distracting the enemy's powerful ranged Pokémon while forcing the Mega Hunter to send out Pokémon to defend the flank. A bulk of the remaining Dex Holders had to fight for air superiority, while everyone else supported the main wheel. If the enemy was gaining superiority, that had to be taken care of.
And in case the entire battle ended up disastrous, the Dex Holders had to ensure that the Mega Hunter was unable to heal his Pokémon. This meant locking down all Pokémon Centers, or at least informing the nurses about the current situation. And if the battle turned into a war, then volunteer trainers were required as well to prevent the Mega Hunter from resting peacefully.
Green read the strategy again and again. It was elaborate, but pulling this off would be difficult due to the sheer amount of preparation required. Platinum did note that the most threatening Pokémon of the Mega Hunter were his Dragon and Fire type Pokémon. The Dragons were mostly relying on close range melee attacks such as Outrage, while the Fire types were focusing on ranged support and area attacks like Flamethrower and Eruption.
… This would be difficult, but certainly possible…
Meanwhile, Sapphire slowly headed upstairs to get to Crystal. Since the Johto Dex Holder's house was nowhere near big enough to hold all the Dex Holders, most had to sleep in tents outside. And it was decided that the girls would sleep indoors.
Not the fairest decision, but it made sense. Crystal wasn't going to be kicked out of her own house to sleep in the tents. And with the lack of tents and lack of space in the house, the Dex Holders would have to sleep pretty close to one another. Boys and girls mixed together in such a situation wasn't going to be good. Especially with Gold around.
Sapphire soon knocked on the door to Crystal's bedroom. "Crystal? Are you awake?" she asked, being quiet to avoid waking up everyone else.
"Yeah, I'm up," came Crystal's voice from the inside. Sapphire opened the door and stepped inside. Crystal looked up from the book she was reading and greeted her with a bright smile. "Good morning, Sapphire. What's up?"
"I need to ask for a favor," Sapphire said as she sat on the bed.
Crystal moved to sit next to her. "Sure. What do you need?"
"I know you caught every Pokémon in Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn," Sapphire said. "So… can I… borrow your Salamence? I need to overcome my fear of Salamence. Otherwise, I'm useless against that Mega Hunter."
"Oh. Sure thing. I know it's very important for you and Ruby, so I'll try my best," Crystal said with a nod.
"Thank you." Sapphire let out a long sigh and slumped forward. "I just feel so… useless."
Crystal gave her a gentle pat on the back. "I know how you feel. At times like this, you just need to take a step back and take it from the beginning. Forget everything you've done with Salamence before and just start over. Think about why it frightens you so much. Think about what'll happen if you stay frightened."
Sapphire slowly nodded but still didn't look confident. "I know I have to get over this fear if I'm to be helpful. And… Ruby will try to protect me against Salamence. Like last time. … Like years ago… And he'll be hurt like both times… I want to protect him…"
"Use that feeling. You care for him so much. And longer you stay frightened of Salamence, the more he's going to get hurt." Crystal gave her a comforting smile. "I know you can do it. I'll help you whenever you need it."
"Thank you."
…
September 1, 1 pm…
…
Green looked down from the balcony of Crystal's house. The other Dex Holders were still in the middle of training. Sapphire was still trying to overcome her fears of Salamence with the help of Crystal, but was making very little progress. She was no longer afraid of Salamence as long as it was idle. The moment it moved, she began to hesitate in her actions, and if that Salamence roared, she immediately froze and began to tremble as her childhood trauma returned. She kept trying to force herself to stand up to it, but just couldn't manage.
… Again, this was something that Blue could fix. She had experience in overcoming trauma. No other Dex Holder had such an experience…
Green sighed and focused on the others. Red was busy training Platinum, Black, and Y. With her flight suit completely destroyed, Y was now training to be able to fight effectively on the ground. Currently, she was focusing on using her Frogadier to create temporary barricades with its foam shots and using her Fletchinder to perform fast hit and run attacks. Her Sylveon focused on perfecting Moonblast for additional power.
Black spent time training his Emboar and Braviary to be as durable as possible. He was one of the Dex Holders who would take on the Mega Hunter's leading Dragon Pokémon. Meaning, he would have to train to be able to take hits.
Platinum focused on ranged attacks with her Empoleon and Rapidash. She was going to be in a support role in the upcoming battle. Her job was to attack the enemy if the Dex Holders in the part of the "wheel" were struggling way too much way too quickly.
Next to them, Ruby and White were training together. Ruby was also a part of the "wheel", and as such, he was training his Pokémon to take hits. White was training and practicing her ranged attacks, so she was battling Ruby for maximum efficiency. Ruby focused on defenses and White focused on offense. But White also had a second role in the upcoming battle. Her Alomomola had to utilize Heal Pulse as much as possible to heal the other Pokémon. While Yellow had her powers to heal, the Dex Holders couldn't rely on her for all the healing.
Overall, the training was going smoothly. Green estimated that two more days of training would allow the Dex Holders to take on the Mega Hunter directly without being overwhelmed.
The junior Dex Holders seemed to be proud of how the training was going. But Red and Green knew that they were in trouble. The juniors thought that once they finished their training, they would have a solid chance of beating the enemy. But experience told Red and Green that they may never finish training. The enemy wasn't going to allow them to train endlessly in preparation. Not to mention, time spent on doing nothing but training meant that the Mega Hunter could carry out his plans without being deterred. And then what? The Dex Holders would need to train for that too.
There was a sudden chime from somewhere. Green tried to find the source. It was coming from Crystal. Her Pokégear was ringing as it received a call.
"Hello?" the girl answered, halting the training with Sapphire. "… What? Are you sure? … Okay… Thanks. Now quickly hide somewhere safe." She hung up and looked up at Green. "We have incoming! The Mega Hunter is here!"
"What? Already?" White asked in shock. "But… we're not ready!"
"This is war," Green said calmly. "You can't expect the enemy to sit idle while we prepare. So get ready for battle, and prepare yourselves. Red, Gold, Ruby, Sapphire, and Black, prepare yourselves the most. When the Mega Hunter comes, his Dragon will charge, and you would have to withstand their attacks until their momentum falters. Platinum, White, and Y, watch over them. If they fail to stall the enemy long enough, you have to assist them. White, leave your Alomomola with Yellow. Yellow, get behind everyone and get ready to use your powers. But don't strain yourself. If you overuse your powers, this battle is lost. Silver and X, you two are on standby. If the enemy Pokémon clump up too much anywhere, hit them. Don't allow them to charge toward us. Diamond and Pearl, you're on secondary support. Diamond, if any of the Dex Holders are in dangerous situations, use your Torterra to hit the endangering enemy with Razor Leaf, and then move in with your team to endure their attacks. Pearl, get ready to take on the enemy Dragons if necessary. Crystal, you watch over the battlefield. Emerald, help her. If she tells you to do something, get to it and fast. I will be taking our aerial Pokémon to fight the enemy's aerial Pokémon and support you on the ground if necessary. And everyone who's unoccupied during the battle, focus on the Fire type Pokémon. Make sure the Eruption does not go off."
The Dex Holders all moved to formation. To avoid unnecessary damage done to Crystal's house, the Dex Holders moved away from the building. Crystal kept her communications with her scouts (volunteer orphans from Earl's Academy) so that she would know where exactly the Mega Hunter was.
The Dex Holders soon saw the Mega Hunter approaching them with his Dragon Pokémon next to him. The battlefield was close to the north western end of Violet City, and as such, there weren't any buildings to worry about. There was a clearing between the forests that led to the route to Goldenrod City and Ecruteak City, which was the perfect location for this strategy.
"We meet once more," said the Mega Hunter. "And this time, I will not be letting you go. So bring your all."
Gold sent out his entire team and charged forward. The Mega Hunter's Dragon Pokémon did the same and clashed. For a short while, there was a furious fight between Gold and the Mega Hunter while both sides prepared for the full battle. The shiny Garchomp smashed its tail into Gold's Typhlosion and knocked it back into the Politoed. The shiny Hydreigon blasted them with Dragon Pulse. Gold returned his Pokémon and backed off just as Ruby came in to take his place. His Swampert hit the Hydreigon with Ice Punch, forcing it to back off. Milotic used Blizzard, which then got neutralized by Salamence's Flamethrower.
The Mega Hunter sent out his aerial and Fire type Pokémon. Green got onto his Charizard and led the Dex Holder's aerial Pokémon to fight the enemy. All the unoccupied Dex Holders attacked the Fire type Pokémon with their ranged attack to prevent the Eruption from going off.
From the back, Crystal observed the battle. So far, things were going okay. Yellow was healing Gold's Pokémon, and Ruby was retreating. Black and Sapphire took his place, with Black fighting Salamence and Sapphire fighting every other Dragon. Green was having an even fight with the enemy's shiny aerial Pokémon. Y had trained the Pokémon thoroughly for the aerial fight, and it was paying off.
The Mega Hunter did something… strange. His Charizard Mega Evolved and immediately triggered intense sunlight. And it used Flamethrower… on his Typhlosion. The Typhlosion's collar suddenly burst into intense flames as its Flash Fire triggered. With a loud roar, the Typhlosion used Eruption, that was boosted by the shiny Infernape's Helping Hand, further boosted by the intense sunlight, made even stronger by Flash Fire, AND it was holding Choice Specs to boost the power even more. The intense burst of fire covered every leading Dex Holders' grounded Pokémon, dealing more than enough damage to defeat every single one at once.
"Shit!" Gold yelled as he saw the massive Eruption. He got Yellow to abort the healing midway and took his Pokémon to clash with the enemy once more. Ruby did the same and moved in to intercept the approaching Dragon Pokémon.
The Mega Hunter sent out more Pokémon and divided his side of the battlefield into 5 sections. The center was under the effect of Drought and had his Fire type Pokémon. The leftmost section was under the effect of Drizzle and Water and Electric type Pokémon. The mid-left section was under the effect of Sand Stream and had Rock, Ground, and Steel type Pokémon. The mid-right section had Snow Warning and contained Ice type Pokémon. The rightmost section didn't have any weather effect but contained the most number of shiny Pokémon. In the skies, the shiny Flying type Pokémon were still engaged in a fight with the Dex Holder's Flying Pokémon. And in the Dex Holders' side of the battlefield, the shiny Dragons were still fighting up close.
Crystal quickly sent Emerald to assist Ruby. Platinum sent out all of her Pokémon to defend against the Snow Warning team. Y tried to defend against the Drizzle team, leaving White to fight the Sand Stream team. Red regrouped his Pokémon and tackled the Drought team. The supporting Dex Holders went to defend against the no-weather team, leaving the Dex Holders with no additional support. Yellow and White's Alomomola were busy healing everyone that got horribly injured from the Flash Fire Eruption. That attack forced the Dex Holders to be more careful. That first Eruption was directed only at the Pokémon. But there were no guarantees that it would not be directed at the Dex Holders.
Sapphire screamed in pain as the shiny Salamence rammed into her with Outrage. Sapphire's Blaziken forced itself to get up in order to protect its trainer, but got knocked down very quickly by the Outrage. The Salamence soon snapped out and loomed over Sapphire. The girl writhed in agony and tried to crawl away from the Salamence. No other Dex Holders were in the vicinity to assist her.
Crystal quickly sprang into action. She sent out her Meganium, Arcanine, and Hitmonchan to protect Sapphire and led them directly towards the Salamence. The enemy Salamence was just about to hit Sapphire with Dragon Claw but was forced to abort the attack as Crystal's Pokémon attacked it first. Crystal took the opportunity to pull Sapphire back to safety and proceeded to fight the Salamence and Garchomp.
Her Pokémon did their best to withstand the heavy attacks and retaliate whenever possible. But as expected, the enemy Pokémon were way too strong for her to handle all alone. Crystal struggled for a while, but one by one, her Pokémon fell. But Crystal still struggled to fight until Gold came in to take her place.
"Get your Pokémon healed up, Super Serious Gal," he said as he got his healed Typhlosion and Ambipom to tackle the Salamence and Garchomp. "I got this for now."
"Thanks Gold," Crystal said as she returned her Pokémon. "And be careful."
Crystal quickly backed away from the ongoing battle. All around her, she could see the other Dex Holders fighting the enemy. But overall, things were barely maintainable. The wheel tactic was working, though not as effectively as planned thanks to that Eruption. The Dex Holders weren't able to attack the enemy from behind since they were quite busy just holding the front, but at this rate, they might just be able to hold their ground. The enemy would get tired during the continuous battle while the Dex Holders frequently rotated around to decrease the damage taken.
But how long until the equilibrium broke? The Mega Hunter hasn't used Mega Evolution on anything except his Mega Charizard. And his Mega Ring allowed simultaneous mass Mega Evolution. Was he waiting for something? If so, Crystal had to heal up and get back to being on standby fast.
She ran towards where Yellow was healing some of the other Pokémon. She wasn't sure how much longer her senior would last while continuously using her powers… Crystal could only hope that the battle ended before things went out of hand.
There was a sudden sound of a Pokéball opening from behind. Crystal spun around as she sent out her Xatu in case the Mega Hunter had sent out a small squad of Pokémon to attack the flank. Much to her surprise, she spotted a non-shiny Blastoise coming out of the trees. And standing next to that Blastoise was… Blue!
"Blue!" Crystal yelled in shock and joy. She quickly ran towards her senior. "I can't believe it! You're back!"
Blue kept her head tilted down so that the rim of her hat would block her eyes. She had a lit cigarette between her lips and kept her arms crossed. She looked up at Crystal just enough so that the rim of her hat cast a shadow over her eyes.
"I'm so glad you're here!" Crystal said as she stopped in front of her senior, failing to notice anything unusual thanks to her joy and relief of finding her senior at long last. "Please help us. We're up against a really powerful trainer and we already lost to him a few times. We're barely holding our ground, but we might get overrun. Please fight with us."
Blue suddenly smirked. Her Blastoise suddenly shot a huge stream of water from both its cannons. Crystal gasped in shock as the stream of water hit her Xatu. A few more Pokéballs opened and Crystal could see Blue's entire battle team ready to fight… ready to attack her.
"B – Blue?!" she started in shock and horror. She hastily sent out her Pokémon as well, but already knew that she was doomed. She was no match for her senior to start with, and half of her Pokémon weren't able to fight properly. "Blue… what are you doing?!" she asked, desperately wanting to avoid fighting her. "We're… we're friends, aren't we?"
Blue suddenly looked very angry. "Now you see me as a friend?" She suddenly grabbed Crystal by the collar of her shirt and yanked her close. "After all these years, you have the audacity to pretend to be my friend?"
Crystal looked quite bewildered. And terrified. She didn't know what Blue was talking about. Yes, she had read her letter, but she thought Blue was upset at Green and not her. After all, she had never done anything wrong to her senior. But Blue was here now, snarling at her while giving her a deadly glare with her dark red eyes. … Red eyes?
"What are you talking about? I always saw you as a friend and a mentor, even," Crystal said, her voice shaking. "You're my senior. I have so much respect for you… I never did anything wrong to you!"
"And yet you withhold information from me!" Blue growled at her. "There are 16 of you Dex Holders here in this fight. I only know 9 of you. There are 7 more Dex Holders and no one told me about them. No one told me anything about Mega Evolution. But you knew. And you dare call yourself a friend of mine?!" Blue took a drag from her cigarette and blew the smoke directly into Crystal's face. The Johto Dex Holder coughed and tried to hold her breath. Blue smirked again as she watched the younger girl's agony. "You have some nerves, kid. Now pay for everything you've done to me."
Before Crystal could respond, Blue punched her in the face, hard, knocking her down to the ground. Crystal struggled to get up but before she could, Blue's Nidoqueen stomped down on her chest to force her back down. Blue slowly approached her junior, who was groaning while writhing on the ground. She looked down at her without any emotions on her face. Crystal managed to look up at her. She looked quite betrayed, scared, and… sad. Sad that her senior had become an enemy… Blue delivered a swift kick to the side of Crystal's head to knock her unconscious and directed her attention elsewhere. The other Dex Holders didn't seem to know of her presence yet. Good. They won't see this attack coming.
Blue's Pokémon proceeded to attack the Dex Holders from behind. There were a few unfamiliar Dex Holders trying to distract Peter's Fire type Pokémon. Not for long. Blue's Blastoise shot the Dex Holders' Infernape and Emboar with Hydro Pump. Blue's objective was clear. Attack the Dex Holders. Get their attention, and lure out Green.
As expected, the sudden attack from behind got the attention of several Dex Holders. With the exception of Sapphire who was nearby, everyone else was new to Blue. But she didn't care. They didn't know who she was, and she didn't know who they were, so she had no qualms about attacking them at full power. Not that she had any qualms about attacking anyone at full strength.
A girl moved towards her to try to stop her. Blue examined this girl. She had long dark hair and a mix of gold and silver eyes. Her overall posture gave the implication that she was of a really high class. Hmph. So a spoiled brat.
Blue's Blastoise easily knocked the new girl's Empoleon back, while the Nidoqueen pummeled the Rapidash. This battled lasted for a minute until another Dex Holder came in to assist her.
Blue's eyes immediately flared. The Dex Holder that came in to assist the new girl was no other than Green. The Gym Leader looked beyond surprised to see her here. Blue gritted her teeth in anger as the painful memories returned. The years she spent alone, mindlessly wandering around, trying to find joy in life… all caused by him.
"Blue…" Green whispered.
"You," Blue growled through clenched teeth.
"Blue, listen," Green started quietly, wanting to apologize for all that was happening. But Blue didn't let him continue.
"The time for talk has passed!" she yelled angrily. "If you wanted to talk, you should've done so years ago when I tried to talk to you!" She pointed at him and gave the order to her Blastoise. "Hydro Cannon!"
So, Zygarde is in Destiny. And by "in", I mean, featured. So much that I originally wanted the story's image to be a picture of Zygarde. Now… looking at my other stories… Consider the following.
A story that had Rayquaza in it also had Groudon and Kyogre. A story that had Giratina in it also had Dialga and Palkia. A story that had Kyurem in it also had Reshiram and Zekrom. So… a story that has Zygarde in it naturally has that tree and that cocoon.
