Aaahhh, I knew I said was going to finish this story quickly and it totally got dragged out like my last fic, sorry to say, plus I realized that I have lost a ton of readers, much to my dismay and I know it's my own fault for doing so, so you know what, I am going to end this story by the end of this month, and I like to say to the reader who accused me of being a Hinata-tard and a Sakura-hater, please be a little more grateful, if you don't like the content you can stop reading, that said….

Sasuke could see the wispy vapor of breath in front of him as he inhaled and exhaled cold air, he carefully studied the map of Konoha that was laid out on the ground in front of him, the other Anbu around him, like large beasts, let loose wispy of vapor with every breath they took and a cold chill settled throughout the tiny room, a small sputtering candle served as their source of light and Sasuke suddenly began pointing at marked areas on the map, there was no need to speak, for everyone knew their places in this mission, after he was finished, Sasuke quickly rolled up his map and stuffed it in his cloak and stood up and whispered a single command.

"Scatter"

The candle was quickly doused as the Anbu black ops disappeared with unbelievable speed and the mission of backing up Naruto had officially begun.

Naruto Uzumaki could feel the presence of the Anbu drawing closer to him, he especially felt the enormous and dense chakra of Sasuke distorting his senses, Naruto blinked once and looked down on the ground that was wet with blood, under his foot was the partially crushed head of a woman who turned out to be the leader of the gang he had exterminated tonight and Naruto smiled as he sunk the head under the ground with his foot and sighed in boredom, a week had already passed and he had taken out 14 gangs out of the 54 that was there in the leaf, he calculated if he hurried with his work, he could be done by a month, Naruto sighed and stepped off, loving the sound of the thick red liquid squelching beneath his feet as he went to sit on a rock and looked up into the broiling sky, it definitely was going to rain tonight, it wasn't a guess for with his fine tuned senses, he could literally feel the cold atmospheric pressure and could smell the cold, sweet wind coming from the north, just as he thought about it, a strong gust of wind blew about him and his long blond hair fluttered wildly and Naruto chuckled in delight, a flash of lightning went off in the distance that lit up half of the sky, the following thunderclap sounded off like a nuclear warhead and Naruto smiled, pleased to see that he wasn't afraid of the powerful forces of nature that men have frightened men from the beginning of time, his thoughts were cut short by the feel of an alien chakra coming from in front of him and Naruto slowly looked up at the high building in front of him and smiled as he saw the small human silhouette and he wondered who was brave enough to stand in his presence with such calmness, the list wasn't that big and Naruto could only think of one person.

'So, you finally showed yourself"

Naruto though and stood up, a bright bolt of lightning illuminated the square and Naruto saw the skull covered face and the black armor and Naruto smirked.

"What do you want?"

Naruto said loudly and he saw the head turn ever so slightly and Naruto knew what was about to happen, he flew onto the side of the building and ran up the side on all fours and did a small flip as he cleared the edge and landed in front of the man whose identity he had agonized over for the last five years. He scanned the man and he felt himself getting excited, everything about the man indicated that he was really powerful, his posture, the width and height of his body showed how hard he had trained to achieve his power and Naruto swallowed his excitement.

"Why are you here?"

"I'm just here to check on your progress, Naruto-san"

The cold voice sent shiver through Naruto's body, never in his life had he met such a person with such a cold aura that was making his body go numb, Sasuke aura was an ice cube by comparison to this man, then Naruto remember he was to keep his head leveled and he calmed down before he did something reckless

"Why do you wish to fight me?"

There was a small stretch of silence that made Naruto wonder if the man had fallen asleep on his feet.

"Let's Just say, There is something I need to confirm"

And with that, the assassin simply vanished, leaving behind a puzzled Naruto who was trying to understand what he meant by those vague words, but those thoughts were immediately cut short by movement on the ground, and he walked to the edge and looked down, Sasuke and his Anbu squads had arrived.

Sasuke knew how much Hatred could infect a person's souls, no one in the world was immune from it, even the most powerful of gods fell to this curse, so it would make perfect sense that any human could fall victim to it no matter who or what they claim to be, but he never expected Naruto to fall into such a state, and he showed how little he valued human life with the work he was currently doing, he had killed people in such brutal and horrifying ways some member of his Anbu team had to be given therapy for depression, for him, the most brutal thing he had seen was a half skinned teen who had died with the vivid expression of agony on his face, he was about summon Naruto when he heard a loud whooshing sound above and he looked up into the pitch black sky and saw nothing, there was another loud ruffling noise and Sasuke activated his Sharingan and the world slowed to a crawl as a brilliant streak of lightning lit up the world, and Sasuke saw Naruto a few meters above him and in vivid detail, saw how scary the man looked descending on the ground in slow motion, His mouth was set in a toothy snarl and his red eyes were lit up like hot coals, the black cloak he had on slowly moved about him like a demonic aura and his feet were slowly straightening as he prepared to land like a huge bird of prey, Sasuke deactivated his Sharingan and the world sped up and Naruto landed in front of him with a loud squelching sound, he slowly stood and faced Sasuke, Sasuke reacted in his mind, noting how different Naruto looked, there was no longer any trace left of the Naruto's old exterior.

"Yo, Sasuke"

Naruto said, sounding both happy and tired, Naruto came towards him with slow measured steps and the Anbu squads shuffled nervously, Sasuke eyes jumped to the ground that looked as if it came out of hell itself, Naruto stopped a foot away from him and pushed his hand into his pockets and gave the Uchiha a small smile, since working together, the two had warmed up significantly to stand being close to each other and they were now exchanging small snippets of questions regarding each other overall health and wellbeing, yet they both knew it was better not to get too close too soon, the smaller wounds had closed and scarred over, but some other were still raw and bleeding and for now, they were focusing on the tasks at hand.

"How many times have I told you not to make such a mess, this will take hours to clean up"

Sasuke complained like a mother and Naruto said nothing and watched with Sasuke as the Anbu went about cleaning up the scene, the others immediately vanished and went to their designated lookout points and were to notify Sasuke if anyone was coming their way, it had become the normal routine and Naruto had already gotten bored with it.

"Let's go for a walk"

The fact that Sasuke said this must have meant that he was getting bored too and Naruto smiled and the two vanished simultaneously and a dog masked Anbu lifted her head and looked around, four other Anbu did the same and they slowly raised their mask to reveal the five member of Sasuke's unit.

"Looks like the chief and the Uzumaki are finally warming up"

Ryuzaki said as he drew back his feet and kicked a severed hand which flew at the red head's neck and the boy squealed in fear and ducked under the flying limb, his grey armor was splattered with thin lines of blood.

"Hey jerk face; what the fuck did you do that for?"

Manaka was livid with anger but the stoic teen was as passive as a basking crocodile and he ignored the boy and the others chuckled lowly and began stuffing body parts into clear plastic bags.

"Yuck"

Haruomi said as he took up a lower jaw and began turning it over like a piece of sacred treasure.

"What do you have there?"

Nagi called out and wiped her bloody hands on her armored butt and went over to look, the other did the same, ogling at the broken jaw, examining the various teeth and the shape and texture of the bone, out of boredom, they had come up with various "games" one of them was to find the appropriate body parts of a specific person and put them in the same bag, a gruesome and very enjoyable game only played by the insane and the super bored human, Manaka had once said, even though he was the best at the game and he earned the nickname he hated with a passion "Carrion".

"Is it male or female?"

Nagi said and she took it in her hand and ran her thumb on the chin, feeling for stubble, another one of their game "Is it a gal or a boy" was the most popular among the Anbu, surprisingly, all the other Anbu seemed to like this game the best and was the rage among their ranks, with people betting whole salaries, apartment rooms, sex and butler services, Manaka and his group had grown very popular in the village and were treated like celebrities for they were like the board members of a betting agencies or an insurance company.

"I guess we have to start the betting"

Hikari said and she whistled loudly, the others dropped what they were doing and excitedly crowded around the five idols with loud yells and cheers.

Naruto eyes watered as he and Sasuke descended onto a vacant rooftop, after creeping around the village for an hour in the darkness, they were finally stopping for a break, Sasuke was the first to land, which he did with relative ease, Naruto was different, the entire building vibrated and Sasuke looked at him with narrowed and annoyed eyes.

"Sorry"

Naruto hastily apologized and went to the edge of the building that had a railing running around it and Naruto jumped up on it and stared over the leaf like a sentinel and inhaled the crispy air and a smug look came over his face.

"It's been awhile, since I had time to enjoy something like this"

"Hn"

Sasuke had his own troubles to worry about; one of them is with Hinata bringing more of his offspring into the world that was very much unstable right now and the ramifications of his reckless action could now cost him the life of both his unborn child and his wife, Sasuke leaned against the railing and turned his head slightly so he could look at the village.

"So beautiful, I wonder how I ever lived without this sight"

Naruto was talking like a he had took a million year sleep and had just woken up and it unnerved Sasuke to see how much the pain had turned him and his one time friend seemingly into middle aged men with the faces of teens, Naruto sensed Sasuke's dark mood and he yawned and crouched, noting how balanced he was he rested his elbows on his thighs.

"Is it, really meant to go this way?"

Naruto had turned serious and he slowly stepped down from the railing and leaned on the railing beside Sasuke.

"Yes, this is the path we must now take if we want to survive"

Sasuke replied slowly and Naruto reached into his back pocket and took out a small flask full of red liquid that seemed to glow in the dark.

"Imported liquor, best there is in this motherfucking world"

Naruto swore and proceeded to open the flask and Sasuke palm clamped down on his finger and Naruto found it impossible to move them and he looked over at Sasuke who was looking in another direction.

"We shouldn't open this here"

Naruto was getting very annoyed with Sasuke's controlling attitude and he wrestled his hand away.

"Screw you"

Naruto said angrily and spun the top off and threw it away and it fell like a spent shell casing and Naruto turned the bottle up his head and downed half off its content, Sasuke listened to the gulping sound, the truth was that he hated alcohol, he hated the sweet smell and the sharp bitter texture it carried, he hated how it turned rational men into blithering idiots who even slept on roadsides until morning, then they would stumble home only to drink more rum and argue with their wives and beat their children.

"Ahh that felt good"

Naruto said happily, partially intoxicated for he was wearing a pink tint on his face and Sasuke knew it was only a matter of minutes before the Uzumaki lost control of his senses, for in this state Naruto forgot about everything, even their bad past.

"Sasuke, drink some of this, it will keep you warm and make you feel good, you bald headed incompetent monkey"

And it was in this state he actually became fun to be around even though Sasuke didn't like to admit it, Naruto was waiting for him to take the flask with a persuading look on his face.

"No"

Sasuke simply said and pushed the flask away, surprisingly, Naruto didn't say anything about it or even looked upset, he only took a few sips and went for the cover that was rolling around in the strong wind; Naruto covered the rum and replaced it in his back pocket.

"I wish my life had a reset button, for here I am, rotting in the dark with my worst enemy"

Naruto suddenly said and Sasuke understood what he meant, the days he spent as a child trying to be good and determined were all for nothing.

"I tried to show you the way"

Sasuke said suddenly and Naruto sighed.

"I understood nothing about life; all I ever did was run my mouth as long as people paid attention to me"

Sasuke knew how painful reflection was, for it was the act of finally realizing the true design of the world you actually lived in and not the one you idealized, and then came the bitter pains of regret and unreasonable anger when you realized that no one actually gave a fuck about what you thought or said, it was only during reflection a person actually found who they really are and what they could have done, Sasuke was no exception to this rule, the day his son died was the day he accepted reality for what it was, and for him, reality was a cold and dark road with the dead and dying, Naruto had fought against the road that was made for him and was winning, yet life or reality allowed no one to forget, they were the real masters of the world they lived in and now Naruto was living the life that was clearly intended for him, a life of carnage and debauchery and Sasuke spoke.

"I have learned not to fight against the natural flow of life, fighting against it will only cause you unnecessary pains, I guess, I should have just followed my clan to the grave.

Naruto listened to the cold voice coming from his right and decided not to judge Sasuke for he finally understood how unfair life was and he knew if he was in a similar position, he would be saying the same thing like the mindless hypocrite he really was, his academy friends too, had accept who they really are, Rock lee was a true sadist by nature, Choji was actually a cold hearted murderer and Ino was a man mad bitch, Kiba was a hyperactive kid and Shino was partially insane, Shikamaru was currently a gambling addict and Ten-ten was actually a small child in a woman's body, Neji was a born servant and Hinata was a perverted, cold heart witch, Sasuke was a murdering psychopath and Sakura was a timid alcoholic, and him, an evil, freak who sleeps with anything he laid his eyes upon.

"Is this what people call growing up, Sasuke?"

"Yes, it is, and from the moment you grow up, you will see the true nature of the world, its vices and lies...Children grow up with their parents constantly lying about the true nature of this world"

"I see, so what you are saying is that children should learn the harsh truths of life as soon as possible to prevent them from getting hurt, but doing that will make them grow cold and distant, is that actually the right way"

"Yes, at least, in this world…it may seem harsh, but, this is the reality we live in now and no amount of wishful thinking will change it"

Naruto chuckled darkly and spat on the roof, Sasuke heard a gurgling sound and he look at the spit that was slowly dissolving the concrete and he barely widened his eyes in surprise.

"I have to go now; I really want to wash off the blood of my body"

Naruto said after a moment of silence and he walked off and stood in the middle of the roof, he turned to look at the silhouette of Sasuke and felt something strange in his gut, was it pity? For the Uchiha looked so lonely by himself and he wondered if he was being too harsh on the man who was obviously going through a lot, then the bad memories came back and the anger override the pity he felt and he mindlessly leapt away.

Hinata was happily staring at the piece of paper she had gotten from the hospital earlier today, it was a pregnancy test and she had been itching to open the minute she got it, and she found out she was going to have another child, Hinata covered her mouth with a pillow and squealed in childish delight, never had she felt such joy, she was going to be a mother again and the thought was driving her wild, she rolled out of bed and ran to the door like a small child, she laughed happily as she entered the hallway and the servants looked at her and smiled, knowing what had happened, Hinata ran all the way to her little sister's room who was currently putting on her clothes after a long bath and the half naked girl panicked as she saw her sister coming towards her.

"What?"

Hanabi said in fright as Hinata hugged her around her neck and began rubbing her face against her own and Hanabi tried to push her away.

"What, what is this? What have I done? Onee-sama?"

"Nothing, I just realized how much I loved you"

Hinata said happily and hugged her tighter and Hanabi blushed heavily, totally falling in love with her older sister that was emitting heavenly warmth and smell and in that instant, the younger girl thought of her mother and she surrendered herself to her sister's embrace, and the memories of being comforted by her mother came back to her.

"Mommy..."

Hanabi whispered unconsciously and tears ran down her face, Hinata heard the word her sister used and she drew the younger girl into a light embrace.

"It's ok, I'm here now, I will keep you safe"

Naruto listened to Hinata laughing and Hanabi's protests and his face split into a grin that reached his ear, how reckless they were, not knowing that the horror of horrors was currently sitting on their roof, currently listening to every word they were saying like the devil under a small child bed, he listened carefully and he heard the younger girl muttering something, "Mommy" Naruto eyes opened wide with realization and he slowly stood up, finally realizing something he had failed to realize until now and the knowledge made him grin and he soundlessly leapt away.

"Let go"

Manaka cried out and tried to wrestle a severed hand away from Haruomi, the two had simultaneously took up the severed limb and was now claiming it to be the final piece to the body parts puzzle.

"I saw it first"

Haruomi said and gripped the upper arm tighter, which was no easy task for it was slippery with blood and the redhead was strong for his small size.

"No, I did you old bastard"

Manaka said and the others looked at each other.

"What did say, you dumb goat"

Manaka was struggling to keep the hand from slipping out of his grasp and he held on like a pit bull.

"Hey you guys, enough already, Sasuke-sama will be back soon"

Nagi said and she placed her bloodied hand on her waist.

"Shut up, hag!"

They both yelled at the same time and redoubled their efforts and the others cheered them on, Manaka felt a large hand on his shoulder and he shrugged it off and the place went deadly quiet.

"Buzz off, Ryuzaki"

Haruomi suddenly saw the dark shape behind Manaka and his gripped loosened and the boy lost his balance and hit into something soft yet firm, he held up the arm like a trophy and looked at the others and smiled.

"Hell yeah"

He shouted and he saw them shifting nervously and that was when he felt warm air washing down his neck and he slowly looked and blanched as he looked into two glowing Sharingan and Manaka knew if he was going to be in a position like this, he would have killed himself years ago.

"Hello Sasuke-kun.. I mean Count Sasuke no no no, I mean Sasuke-chan…Sasuke-sama?..."

"…"

The last thing Manaka remembered was Sasuke's large hand closing over his face and then he blacked out.

"How will we get rid of the blood?"

Ryuzaki asked Sasuke as they stared at the sleeping teen who was sleeping on the ground, Sasuke sighed and bent down lifted him into his arms, he was surprisingly light and Sasuke knew he wasn't going to be a problem to carry.

"We will let the rain wash it away"

"Oh"

Ryu replied and Sasuke turned to walk away and the others flocked to his presence and they all jumped off quickly, determined to reach indoors before the rain fell onto the tortured earth.
