I have utterly no excuses for why I haven't updated in freaking centuries.

But, I'm back now, correct? c:

Okay, without ANY further delay, let's continue.

(BTW I JUST FUCKING REALIZED THAT IT IS NOT LAURA IN THE STORY COVER, IT IS VANESSA, LAURA MARANO'S SISTER. I AM UNBELIEVABLY PISSED OFF WHICH IS WHY I AM SO DULL)

RECAP

A few steady moments of silence.

My rasped whisper took a battleaxe and smashed it.

"I know what you are..."

Austin didn't respond to my accusation. He didn't move, he didn't blink, he didn't even look at me. It was beginning to frustrate me. I couldn't just sit there waiting for him to answer; I needed fucking answers. And if I had to do something ridiculous for it, I was gonna do it. "If you can't answer me, then maybe your family can." I sharply moved myself from the bed, making sure not to look at him so I didn't get chills again. I was almost to the door before I felt freezing, strong hands take hold of me and slam me against the wall farthest from the door. From the sudden grasp and the pain of my spine hit against the rock-hard wall, I screamed out and clenched my eyes shut.

"Shh, it's alright.." I heard a husky voice whisper to me. Chills were sent through my bones. I opened my eyes to see Austin, of course, what looked like genuine guilt on his face as he pinned me to the wall, his eyebrows furrowed. Slowly, I tried to release myself to the wall, but I might as well have been shoving a boulder for all that I moved Austin away from me. "A-austin... let me g-go.." I stammered. Dammit, my stutters were back.

I heard a commotion downstairs, it sounded like someone yelling at another person; I just didn't know what they were saying. Two words, it sounded like..

"Allyson, I'm sorry.." Austin was murmuring. I tuned back in to his voice, ignoring the fact that he had moved his hand from my bruised collarbone to my waist, then gently losened his grip on the back of my neck. I couldn't move, he was pinning me to the wall still.

I nodded, struggling to swallow the giant lump in my throat again. My shaky breaths were all I could hear in the silence of the room, the yelling downstairs had stopped. They must have heard the commotion upstairs, but none of them had come up to see what was going on. I wasn't sure, but I either felt sweat or a tear glide down my cheek.

"You must not be scared of me... I never intended to go this far, but I panicked," he continued.

"P-panicked b-ec-cause o-of wh..." I couldn't go on; my stammering was making me sound so much more meek than I already was.

"You are right, Allyson, I knew I couldn't hide such a secret from a human being any longer, especially because I associated myself with you so much. I apologize, again, Allyson.." There was such sweet honey in his voice I just nodded and blinked pathetically.

I froze. Did he ... ?

"A-austin..?" I questioned.

"Yes, Allyson?"

"You've... g-got to be fucking joking..." I said in a monotone meek voice.

Austin shook his head, not responding to my use of foul language. "I wouldn't take such a 'joke' as far as this, Allyson."

I found myself struggling to get away from him, a bit slowly because of the shock of myself even touching him sent my heart haywire, and not wanting to touch his freezing cold skin. He had to be insane, vampires weren't fucking real. He was just making me seem like an idiot for even thinking that vampires could exist, right? Maybe.. maybe I was going insane..

"Please, Allyson, I am not going to hurt you anymore than I already have." he told me, his kind voice not even sounding force.

I took in a lungful of breath, then slowly released it all in front of me, making whisps of his hair swirl just slightly. I didn't care, he didn't even move nor did he let me go.

I opened my mouth to say something, and then-

"WHERE'S ALLY, YOU GINGER LITTLE-"

Glass shattering. Furniture falling onto the floor. Several people yelling and shuffling.

"Stay here, Allyson." Austin simply told me.

There was a milisecond of a light 'swoosh', then I was alone.

I instantly ran to the door, and struggled with the locked knob. I was going to bang onto the door; but that wouldn't be heard over the noise downstairs. I finally let my tears fall onto my face, leaning my back on the door then sliding down it onto the floor, wrapping my hands around my legs and shoving my face into my knees to sob.

Austin was a blood-sucking vampire.

"Ally? ALLY, ARE YOU-"

"Don't yell, it'll trouble Allyson-"

"You've caused enough trouble, you annoying little-"

"You're the one that came barging into our house, trampling around-"

"I WAS TRYING TO SAVE HER, YOU ASSHOLE."

"Language, mutt."

"I AM NOT A-"

"Plus, there was nothing to save her from, anyway."

"HOW ABOUT A HOUSEFUL OF BLOODSUCKING VAMPIRES?!"

"You're just as dangerous as a vampire, you hairy-"

"Enough! She's waking up because of you three!"

I opened my eyes slowly, instantly regretting it because of the multiple heads that were staring at me. Austin was standing at my feet, arms crossed over his chest, watching me, Dez had been standing next to him, strangely, a nervous look on his face, as were the rest of the Moon family. What I found strange was that Trish was standing closest to me. When did she get there.. why was she there?

Where was I?

"Ally! Are you-"

"I'm fine." I cut Trish off. I tried sitting up, but it made my head spin.

"Sit down, Ally! You passed out earlier, oh dear, Ally, we were worried- here, have some water, you lost a lot of hydration!" Kira had said a whole ring of sentences that I only picked up some of it as she handed me a bottle of water, unscrewing the cap in what seemed like a millisecond. Then a realization hit me like a train. I held the water bottle in my hand cautiously, not even taking a sip from it.

The Moons' may have been vampires. I looked up sharply at them all, wide-eyed, only to look at Trish. Hairy? Mutt?

"What was it about you being a mutt, Trish?" I asked her, not sounding as fazed and scared for my life as I really was.

Trish looked abashed; she probably wasn't expecting me to ask that.

"Wh-what do you mean-"

"She knows you're a werewolf Trish. Probably knows we're all vampires, too." Cassidy cut in dully.

"Cass," Austin chastised her from where he was standing, giving her a disapproving look. "She can only take in so much information at once. Give it a break, will you please?" he asked in a leader-like tone.

Cassidy rolled her eyes. "Fine, but she knows. That's all I was saying."

After all the things that the Moons' went through for me, I really shouldn't have been as scared of the fact that they were vampires. Vampire movies and folklore may have been the reason why I was so unreasonably frightened at them.

And Trish.. was a what?

"W-wait a second.." I said, clearly as I could, but still sounding meek and quiet. They obviously still heard me mutter.

"Y-you're all... joking, right?" I questioned stupidly. I could see Trent's eyes gleam; that must've been his way of snickering at me.

"Allyson, I've already said this," Austin said to me in his honey-sweet voice again, which made me captivated by his words once more.

"We wouldn't go so far with a 'joke', especially because this is no 'joking' matter. You are being stalked by Elliot; you must not want to confront this issue about him, but he has been an enemie of us for generations. You can help us stop him." Austin told me.

"What, you w-want me to be bait?" I questioned, defensive.

Austin shook his head. Ethan piped up from his place next to Cassidy. "No, but you can't leave us now. He's been kidnapping, biting, killing, and sexually assaulting women your age since the 1920's , and you're just the girl that can stop him."

"How can I help? I'm not a.." I motioned towards the group of people that surrounded me, not wanting to say the word in case I offended them or something.

Austin stood silently, not shifting or batting an eye. He did this a lot, which was obnoxious to me. Perhaps he was thinking through something.

"Ally, the point is, you can help us. Elliot doesn't just select anybody. You must be special in order for him to even take interest in you." Cassidy snapped at me. I frowned. What was THAT supposed to mean?

Kira nodded, although she gave Cassidy a dirty look. "She's practically right Ally, if he attacked you, that means he attacked you for HIS own reasoning. His reasons may be completely irrational and revolting, but he's only targeted certain girls. Rich or poor, he still chose sixteen year olds, like you."

I swallowed, and I found myself shaking uncontrollably. I was struggling to get a deep breath in; I was breaking out in a cold sweat.

"This is too much for Allyson." Austin stated blankly to the rest of the group. (Obviously it's too fucking much) "Maybe we all should leave."

Trish stood her ground. "I am not going ANYWHERE! As if I want her to be alone with all of you freaks!"

Dez rolled his eyes. "I could've sworn we just explained everything, Trish. We're not going to make her our dinner, or something-"

"DEZ!" the rest of the Moons' chorused.

He looked at me, and determining the scarred-for-life look on my face, he sheepishly looked at his feet. "Sorry, Ally.."

Kira started dragging everyone out, including Dez and Trish. After a few minutes of disagreement, they all left. Austin and I were alone, as I was laying on a comfortable bed someone's room. I didn't know whose, though.

Austin slowly turned to the door after a few minutes, which made me yelp:

"Don't leave!"

Austin slowly locked the door to the room, then turned around.

"This is my room, why would you expect me to leave, Allyson?"

I quivered with slight embarrassment. "T-this is your room?" He nodded.

"And you, ma'am, are on my bed. Vampires don't really need sleep, but they could if they wanted to." he told me.

I got out of my chin-resting-on-hand position and sat up in his bed, making it creak. "I'm still shocked that you are so open about.."

"Being a vampire? Yes, I supposed that you had already figured it out quite a while ago, actually.."

I nodded. "I made it pretty obvious, but, whatever." He chuckled darkly.

Frowning, I looked him up and down. "On purpose, or on accident?"

"Well, it was an accident at first. I slowly made it more and more obvious so that you could fit the pieces together," He made his way over to the bed, then sat down on the edge closest to me, leaning in, so that our faces were five inches apart.

"I'm not mocking you, though." He said to me. "You really have been through a lot, and I feel like I have been making it worse for you."

I said nothing.

He leaned in very closely, making his voice very husky as he whispered:

"Is it getting worse, Ally?"

I swallowed. He WAS making it worse by creating too much goddamn sexual tension by getting closer to me. Why must he try and seduce me NOW?

He smirked, and his lips soon came closer and closer to mine . . .
