Hello everyone!:D
Here I finally am with the next chapter, for the people waiting, I'm sorry it takes so long, but I'm also working on other stories that I plan to post (Once, in the future), so to not let the ideas of the different stories clash I have to write them separately, which delays everything of course ^^
Anyways, as promised, the next chapter, in which they finally arrive at the airport!
I won't say more, spoilers are bad, mmkay
Enjoy the read, if you like it or have anything to say, drop a review if you like:3
Fleeting Identities
…
'You drive!' Zyra immediately said to Ellie when they were all about to get in the car. Ellie gave her a questioning look.
'Do you trust my driving more than Hayden's?
-'What? No, then I just don't have the chance to have to sit next to you.' Zyra answered bluntly, without a hint of shame. Riven stashed away a quick giggle at the response while Ellie stuck out her tongue. As the last one, Hayden now came walking up to the car, curious what it all was about again. Ellie saw him and smiled.
'Then you two lovebirds at least neatly go and sit together on the backseat.'
After she had said that, she herself took seat in the driver's seat. Zyra rolled with her eyes, but still went to sit down on the backseat with a satisfied smile, soon joined by Hayden. With a shrug, Riven took the unoccupied spot of the front seat next to Ellie. She didn't want to make it unnecessarily tight on the backseat, neither did she want to "disturb the lovebirds", to quote Ellie as soon as she saw Riven hesitating.
To either mock or satisfy Ellie, Zyra laid herself down, letting her head rest on Hayden's lap, a comfortable smile adorning her face. With a soft look, Hayden gently brushed through her red hair. Riven watched the scene from the front seat and showed her typical, soft smile again, her crimson eyes filled with warmth.
'For once I'm going to use Ellie's words for this, you two are just too cute.'
'...Are you sure we'll be there on time, Hayden?' was yet another question in a row Ellie fired at him during the drive, probably not being able to remain silent after a while of watching the road.
'Give me a reason why we wouldn't?' Hayden wondered.
'Well, it's already past five, and-'
-'I take "afternoon" very broadly.'
'And what about traffic jams?'
-'Seeing as we even have enough time to eat when we get there, we have time to spare, so hush.'
'But what if-'
-'For fucks sake, can't we give her something narcotic to get her to shut up?' Zyra tiredly broke through Ellie's talking.
'...The buildings here are so big and built skyward, as if they want to reach the sky...' Riven suddenly said, not having paid attention to the conversation, captured by the sight of the large buildings which they now slowly approached, reaching the big city.
'Well, they're called skyscrapers for a reason.' Hayden said with a smile. Riven turned to him.
'That's how they're called?'
Hayden nodded.
'Well, figures, I guess...' Riven mumbled, turning to the outside again.
'These buildings stand so strong, united in their reach for the sky, ascension. Dominant and as watchers they stand tall, ironically also taking away the sunlight from all that can but stand in their shadow...Almost like an army.' Riven softly said, looking through the window with a dreamy expression on her face.
'But they don't have the individuality of the houses back where you live... These buildings are cold and impersonal, a mass product...' she continued after a brief silence. Her expression darkened.
'Like an army.'
Then, she noticed her voice was the only thing piercing the silence that had manifested. With a slightly reddening face, she looked at the others.
'S-Sorry, I was rather talking to, ehm, myself...' she said, her cheeks still flushed. 'Did I interrupt something?'
-'Only yourself.' Hayden replied with a smile.
'Riven the sage...' Ellie slightly teased, which didn't help remedy Riven's blush.
'Your little philosophical reflection even got the thing over there silent for a bit.' Zyra sneeringly added.
'Tsss...At least I ensure that the mood remains vivid!' Ellie countered.
'But you don't know the border between pleasant and hyperactive...' Zyra sighed.
'Before you're going to turn around to give a stingy response, keep your eyes on the road, Ellie.' Hayden sternly interrupted. Ellie, already wanting to turn on her seat, murmured something and focused on the traffic again.
'Is this the airport!? It's huge!'
Riven excitedly stepped out of the car and shook her head to get her snowy white hair, fluttering in the hard breeze, out of her face. Then, she fixed her crimson gaze on the complex bordering the parking lot they were on right now. Hayden turned to her with a curious look, seeing the, for her calm self, thrilled expression on her face.
'Is this the first time you're seeing something like this?'
Riven nodded.
'Have you never been to Piltover?' he continued.
'No...the biggest thing I've visited, safe for the Institute of War, is the Placidium in Ionia, but it can't be compared to this...' Riven said, her voice trailing off when she followed an airplane taking off with her eyes, its roaring engines easily drowning out any exchange of words. She turned around again once she was satisfied with the distance of the aircraft.
'Are we going to travel with such a plane?' the white haired woman asked, little twinkles of excitement dancing in her eyes.
'Wow, Riven, you almost look like an excited child now, never thought I'd see something like that on you.' Hayden playfully said, which made the woman blush in embarrassment while they started walking in the direction of the main building.
'Quite the breeze, eh?' Ellie happily said on the way, furiously brushing through her brown hair to get all the locks dancing around out of her face. 'I bet you're happy having your hair tied together now, Zyra.' she continued, looking at Zyra with a sly grin. The other woman sent her a bored look back, not taking the trouble to brush aside the few, but big locks of hair now dancing in front of her face.
'I bet you'd be happy with me agreeing with you, but I wouldn't, even if it was just purely as a matter of principle.'
-'That's quite a difficult way to say "Yes", isn't it?' Riven snickered, while she came walking up next to Zyra.
'Shut up.' Zyra answered, turning her head away, causing the crimson ponytail to furiously flutter the other way because of the wind.
'See? If you didn't wear it in a ponytail now all your hair would've just been blown into your face, no way you would enjoy that.' Ellie began again, catching up to them again.
'You sure don't give up, do you?' Hayden sighed. The girl just shrugged with a smile.
'Did I ever?'
'I'm curious how many strange looks we're going to get.' Ellie wondered while they stepped into the one side of the large, slowly revolving doors, following its deeply sizzling movement. Hayden turned to her.
'Do you think it'll be that bad?'
Now, Zyra looked at him with one eyebrow raised.
'One woman with large, green stripes in her hair, another with pale platinum hair and crimson irises, you with a scar that can rival a lighthouse if it weren't for the makeup and Ellie has a flower blooming out of her wrist.'
-'Just your everyday American citizens.' Ellie chimed in. Hayden pulled up an eyebrow of his own.
'Isn't that slightly exaggerating?'
-'You get the message.'
As Ellie and Zyra had predicted, when they entered the more crowded parts of the airport, more people turned their heads as soon they moved into the larger lines of people waiting to check in or just for something else.
'Hey, is that some Riven cosplay?' a young man suddenly asked when they passed a group of people he clearly belonged to, since some of them had their head also turned in curiousity.
'Say yes.' Hayden whispered behind Riven, who clearly didn't know what to do.
'Ehm-eh, yes.' she hesitatingly smiled.
'It's awesome!' the other one responded, with a girl behind him also raising her thumb. They remind me of those people drooling over my scar...
Riven awkwardly waved as an answer, while they walked on.
'What is "cosplay"?' she asked in a dimmed voice when they were past the group. While Ellie just laughed -'The way she asks that is just too cute!'- Hayden explained;
'Cosplay is more or less copying the looks of a fictional personage or object or so by wearing the same clothes and, what those people thought in your case, trying to resemble them by taking over outstanding physical features, like your white hair and red eyes.'
-'Hmm-mm' Riven nodded approvingly, taking in the information.
'Be glad you are able to alter your appearance, you would've been like a massive beacon for cosplay fanatics.' Ellie said to Zyra with a teasing grin, leaning towards her.
'Too bad you can't, cosplaying would perhaps finally get you some attention from the boys.' Zyra answered with a challenging smile of her own, at the same time with her left foot casually shoving Ellie's leg from under her. Ellie, who already leaned sideways, was brought out of balance and comically toppled over with a surprised yelp.
'Or that works too.' Zyra said, looking at her nails, seemingly uninterested. While Riven helped her back up with a smile of her own , Ellie puffed her cheeks and wanted to say something, but Hayden grabbed her shoulder;
'Before you start the argument of the century here on this airport, I'd like to have us checked in first. After that you two can go and play somewhere for all I care.'
-'What did you say?' sounded Ellie and Zyra in unison, both giving him a deadly glare. Riven hid a giggle behind her hand and Hayden backed away a bit in surprise.
'You know, you two start to resemble each other like that.'
-'We do NOT.'
-'We AREN'T.'
Zyra and Ellie answered almost at the same time, the one even angrier than the other. Riven's eyes grew big at their response and broke out into an uncontrollable fit of giggling a second later. Zyra's and Ellie's offended mood only increased as they saw the white haired woman almost lying on the ground in laughter. When she had finally calmed down again, she looked up.
'Sorry, but that was...just too perfect...' she said in between breaths, leaning on Hayden's shoulder.
'Your responses...and even the expression on your faces looked alike-I-that was just...too much...My stomach...' she ended with a hand clenched in her side, suppressing another giggle.
'God, Riven, you do the strangest things when you're excited.' Hayden commented. She looked up at him with a half-accusing smile.
'Admit it, you could barely hold your laugh yourself.'
-'Okay, guilty.' he grinned.
'Shouldn't you hurry and get us checked in before we aren't allowed to pass anymore?' Ellie muttered grumpy, arms folded over each other. Riven straightened herself and looked at Ellie with a victorious smile on her face.
'Look, Hayden, we even got Ellie offended!'
-'Zyra would approve.' he snickered on his turn.
'Maybe.' Zyra indifferently said, but she still couldn't hide a smile on her lips.
On his way to the self-service check-in Hayden felt awkwardly self-conscious due to the thoughts of Zyra and Ellie about their appearance and his scar in general, making him almost feel like he was being watched. He rubbed over his cheek and felt the cold skin of the scar under his fingers. Shaking his head, he shrugged off the idiotic thoughts.
After he had them all checked in and received their boarding passes , he turned around and strolled back to the others. From a distance, he saw Zyra comfortably leaning back, concentrating on the little plant in her hands, while Ellie sat cross-legged on the bench and was apparently in her own, very hyperactive way, explaining how a plane takes off and lands. In front of her stood Riven, listening and smiling at the many gestures Ellie made to animate it. When he reached them, he took out the boarding passes and handed everyone their rightful one.
'There you go.' he said, afterwards turning to Riven and Ellie with a grin.
'And, did Ellie teach you all about the working of a plane?'
-'I could see it all in front of me already.' Riven responded with her soft smile.
'Sooooooooo...When do we leave?' Ellie impatiently asked, looking up to Hayden.
'Whenever Zyra feels ready, after all she has to do the hard work now.'
The crimson haired woman looked up when she heard her name, having already turned her attention to the flower again.
'The customs are next then, I assume?' she answered with a serious tone her voice, her eyes softly glowing yellow again. She raised from her seat.
How much time do we have left?'
-'That's for you to decide. You are the one who has to deceive the customs and find a way around the security.' he responded.
'You make it sound like a really grave matter.' Zyra smiled.
-'Well, they don't encounter people wearing a large rune-imbued sword or literally blooming flowers from their wrists on a daily basis.'
-'Including two people who actually shouldn't even exist, let alone legally.' Ellie added.
'When we passed the security we still have our free time, I guess?'
-'Yes, it's confined to the part where everyone has to wait, but there's even a shop and all those things, so...' he responded. Zyra rose from the bench and stretched for a bit.
'Then I don't see why we should wait any longer. Come.'
She gestured at everyone in general, turned around and started to stroll in the direction of the customs in a relaxed pace. Hayden walked up to her and came walking next to her.
'Yes?' she asked, wondering why he seemingly randomly came walking at her side.
'How do you want to it to be arranged?'
-'It...?'
'As in, should Ellie and me go first, or you and Riven, or...?'
-'Ah, you mean that...I think the best lineup would be you at the start, then Riven, Ellie and me to end it.'
-'Why am I in the middle?' Ellie curiously wriggled herself between the two. Zyra gave Ellie a bored look after her statement, which caused the girl to quickly add;
'Not meant in a bad way!'
Zyra waited a few seconds to make Ellie feel more awkward before answering.
'Because you are an excellent energetic alternation in between the probably concentrated turns of Riven and me, because as I mentioned, I'm not Lux nor Leblanc. Happy now?'
Ellie was a bit surprised of the unexpected sharp hint in Zyra's voice and unconsciously halted for a moment, but then she felt a soft grip on her shoulder. Turning to the side, she looked in the gentle, crimson eyes of Riven, who pulled her along with a tug.
'Forgive Zyra, I think she's getting a little tensed because of what she has to do in a few moments. Remember, this isn't her kind of magic.'
She gave Ellie conforming squeeze on her shoulder.
'Come on, within an hour we'll be on a real plane!' Riven continued, clearly having to hold in her excitement. This put a smile on Ellie's face as she followed Riven.
'It's cute to see you excited like that, Riven, you know that?'
Riven's cheeks slightly rosed in embarrassment as a response, which only broadened the smile of the brown-haired girl.
'Riven, please put your hood up, if I hear one person talking about Riven cosplay again, then...' Zyra mumbled, clenching her fists.
'Easy, Zyra...they're just...'
-'Fanboizz.' Ellie interrupted Hayden's words with an acted, chic accent, dripping with sarcasm. The tone in her voice even managed to bring a smile to Zyra's face, who sighed. They had expected to see a row of people waiting they had to join, but it seemed more people had the same idea as them and wanted to get through early. It resulted in quite a waiting queue, which got Zyra slightly worked up.
'Now you know how it feels to be in a seemingly eternal queue, like we sometimes have to endure, Zyra.' Ellie teased. Zyra groaned a bit, the smile already parting from her face. The cause of her disapproval was rather more because of Ellie calling her by her name, since she didn't like the attention they sometimes got when people heard and recognized the name.
'Say, Zyra,' Ellie began, accidentally loud enough for people to easily understand her, which got her another glare from the woman. In a dimmed voice, she continued;
'Why do you actually dislike it so much, it's not like you're a wanted criminal or something?'
-'No, but I'm, as has been explained to me, part of the most known and played game of this world. Seeing as Riven already has to hide herself, I have no intention of disguising myself and then still having to look away when people hear my name.'
-'Zyra hates crowds.' Hayden annoyingly whispered.
'And what about-' Ellie noticed once more how loud she started her sentence and continued, dimmed; 'about Riven?'
Riven smiled at her concern.
'My hair is chalk white, my eyes crimson red, my body frame is the same as, well, me "in game", my voice, and so on. I don't mind it, I can't hide it anyway. Let the people believe I'm...cosplaying, well, ehm, myself.'
Shrugging, she pulled over the hood she had to put on of Zyra.'No hiding except for like this.' she continued. She looked up at the amount of white strands that still appeared from under her hood.
'A bit.' she chuckled. 'But as I said, I know how to merge with the crowd a bit, this is a mini-version, so let's put that to the test. For our poor Zyra.' she smiled again. At this, Zyra took another deep sigh.
Slowly, the row shrunk, until it was Hayden's turn to pass. Without much problems but a quick glance of the man checking the ID's at his newfound scar, he was allowed passage. He took enough distance to not just be standing in front of the customs, but leaned against the wall and paid good attention to the next person in line.
Riven.
Quite successfully hiding her anxiousness, she bravely stepped through the metal detector without even flinching in the slightest. Hayden internally cringed, knowing that Riven ensured him the blade wouldn't be detected, but if, if, if, they were in massive trouble. When she passed without any problem, Hayden released a huge sigh and internally admonished himself for not having more trust in both Riven and Zyra.
Further in the line, he saw Zyra, arms crossed, her eyes gleaming yellow again as soon as Riven took out her totally legal ID. The man first furrowed his brows when he checked the pass, which made both Riven and Zyra tense up, but then his expression went a bit dazed, and he waved her to go through. Riven waited until she passed the man and reached Hayden, before releasing a very held back breath.
'Still that tensed up?' What a hypocritical statement though 'I thought you had a bit more confidence in Zyra.'
-'What if he decided to check on me and would've noticed the blade?' the white haired woman answered, looking up again. Behind them, Ellie passed with a smile and energetically walked up to them. However, Zyra, who had taken a look behind her, had moved herself back in the line, until she reached the back of the row again.
'What the hell is she doing?' Hayden asked, confused.
'Maybe the deceiving cost more energy than she had expected and she wants to wait a bit longer before doing it again.' Ellie guessed.
'Which forces us all to wait, though.' he said.
'It's not like we're going to miss the flight.'
Ellie seated herself and directed her gaze to the customs, cross-legged and head leaning on her hands.
'You, sitting down out of the blue?' he looked down with a smile.
'I want to see what she's up to. And I'm sure you do too!' she said, returning the smile.
'Can't disagree on that one.'
As the last one in the current line, Zyra had passed the metal detector as well, without a hint of nervousness on her face, and now stood before the the man handling the allowance of entry. He gave her an examining look.
'Haven't I seen you before earlier in the line, Miss?'
-'Indeed, but I suddenly noticed I didn't have my ID ready, so I backed to not hold up the line.' she answered in an apologizing tone, without faltering or hesitating even a little bit.
'Well, I hope you've had enough time now.' the man answered, chuckling of his own joke. Zyra smiled as well, but rather because of the guards laugh than his words. Apparently neatly falling under her spell, he, once more pretty hazy, returned the ID Zyra had given him just now and waved her to pass.
'Wait a second there, ma'am!'
'Damn it!'Zyra swore under her breath and gritted her teeth. However, she turned around and showed a questioning smile again after the man had called out to her.
'I'm sorry, Miss, but the plant you are carrying is not allowed on the flight. You can put it away somewhere safe, but else way it has to remain here or given to someone who can take it back home.'
Zyra twitched for a second, but then approached the man with a comforting smile. Caught in her yellow gaze again, the man wasn't able to move as she walked up to him. She reached out for him and caressed his cheek with one hand, slowly moving her fingers over his skin.
'Can't I take it with me on board? I don't have much, and I need this to hold on to, it's very precious to me...' she said with a seducing voice. The next moment, she bent over and gave him a soft kiss. When she leaned back again, she sent him another pleading look.
'Please?'
The man was completely stunned and could only slightly nod, still captured by her intriguing eyes, who kept him in his place.
'Thank you.' she smiled. She turned around and walked away towards the group that was waiting for her, and in her wake, the man now started to move his hand towards his face, where the memory of her lips still lingered.
As she approached the group, the others were still looking at her with big eyes.
-'Dayuumm, Zyra!' Ellie spoke up after a while with an excited smile. 'I expected much, but this?'
'I told you I would get it through the customs.' Zyra simply said.
'Wow.' uttered Riven, softly shaking her head in disbelief while Hayden just sat there with a surprised smile of his own.
'I don't even-how-' he hesitated, also not being able to say much. He shook his head and looked back up at Zyra.
'It seemed the initial spell had worked out, so I had to switch to something more provocative and direct.'
'Should I be afraid of the competition now, or what?' Hayden teased with a smirk. In response, Zyra released a deep sigh of relief, glad that it was over, and walked up to Hayden, giving him a sweet kiss.
'You don't have to be afraid of any competition, dear.' she said with a hint of tease herself. Then, she held her head a bit closer.
'There is only you.' she whispered with a slight blush. With a smile, he gave her a kiss in return.
'Sometimes you're really adorable, Zyra...' he chuckled. She gasped a bit and looked like she was doubting between being offended and flattered, her cheeks rosing some more.
'Are the lovebirds done?' smirked Ellie, seeing a perfect chance to tease Zyra some more.
'Maybe I'll go wait in a line somewhere where you aren't around some more, it was so peaceful there...' Zyra groaned. Nonetheless, she pulled up a surprised Hayden while he was still in her embrace and turned around, now Zyra and him both following Ellie and Riven in their wake, towards the hall.
Ellie walked a bit ahead once they reached some seats and turned around, hands on her back.
'Sooooo...' she began.
'So you want to visit the store.' Hayden smiled.
'Just to look!'
-'Yeah, sure.'
-'What's so bad about that shop?' Riven asked in between.
'Nothing much, but it's just that everything is needlessly expensive and nothing's really useful, as far as I'm concerned.' he replied.
'But I,' Ellie started, then looking at Hayden, '"Being a girl", would like to just look around for a bit.'
-'If we start the stereotypes, you probably won't be able to resist buying things."Being a girl".' he ended with equal emphasis on those last words as Ellie had done.
'Anyone want to join me?' Ellie asked, head turned towards Zyra and Riven, deciding to be oblivious to Hayden's objections. He facepalmed while Riven smiled and Zyra even snickered a bit.
'I'll come along. It will release Zyra of the cosplay fans for a while.'
Riven walked up to Ellie while she cast a sly glance at Zyra. The red haired woman just rolled her eyes and sat down, making herself comfortable as much as she could on the rather unpleasantly shaped chair.
'Do whatever you can't resist.' shrugged Hayden, accepting his fate. He put himself down next to Zyra, who softly laid her head on his shoulder, gladly taking the chance to make herself somewhat more comfortable. She closed her eyes and snuggled against Hayden.
'Did those deceiving spells wore you out that much?' Hayden asked, pretending to be surprised.
'Maybe...' she answered languidly.
'Yeah, totally.' Ellie snickered.
'Mmm...'
-'Cuteee!' Ellie whispered, now turned to Riven, who smiled at her excited reaction. The following moment, Ellie turned around and pulled the white haired woman along towards the shop. Or rather, tried to pull her along. Because of the sudden, rough tug at her shoulder Riven was startled and tensed up, making it impossible for the smaller girl to pull along the stronger warrior. Ellie herself was even pulled back a bit because she kept holding on to Riven's shoulder in her surprise. She looked behind her with a wondering look and faced a slightly embarrassed Riven.
'I-I'm sorry, those were-are reflexes back from when I was wandering as an exile, when I had to watch out for every little touch. They come back from time to time...'
She looked down for a bit, but Ellie took hold of her hand and shook her head.
'Riven plis...It doesn't matter, you know that. Come on!'
This time she just slowly tugged at Riven with a soft touch so she would step forward and come along, seeming to still feel the need to pull someone along even if they were about to follow already.
'What's the use of all this stuff?'
In the shop, Riven looked at the different things you could buy with a skeptical look.
'This looks like a place where the shopkeeper would do anything to make you buy something.' she continued with a frown. Ellie looked up to a large sign which displayed "TAX FREE!" in capital letters, as flashy as possible.
'Well, in essence you're not that wrong...'
-'Ahri would laugh at the futile attempts of these things to attract men.' Riven spoke with a grin, while she walked through the rows of perfumes.
'Don't tell me those things don't exist in Valoran...'
-'Of course they do, but she laughs at them there too.'
Ellie shook her head while laughing at Riven's dry response, who didn't even look up at her question, now inspecting the rows of candies and other snacks.
After a while of just walking through the store, looking here and there with no real purpose in mind, Ellie turned to Riven.
'Hey Riven,' she began.
'Yes?' the other woman curiously responded, turning her head towards Ellie now as well.
'We can't come back without having bought anything, can't we? We're girls after all.'
-'Are you seriou-'
'And I saw you looking at the rows of chips and sweets with keen interest just now.' Ellie ended undisturbed. Riven's cheeks flushed in a deep shade of red again and if she physically would be able to, Ellie was certain she would've hidden herself in her blue hoodie.
'Come on Riven, why the embarrassment? If your cheeks turn a deeper shade of red I think your head is gonna explode from the overflow of blood.'
Riven muttered something, but Ellie laid her small hand on the rather broad shoulder of the former wanderer.
'Riven, people are allowed to like things.'
She looked at the woman in front of her, her blue eyes scanning the crimson ones of Riven.
'I have the feeling, and I'm a girl, I'm right on shit like that, that you fell back to your attitude of warrior and exiled person the moment you stranded here on our Earth. Am I right?'
For once, it was Riven who broke the eye contact and looked down, giving Ellie enough confirmation.
'It's not like you should deny yourself everything now. *cough* Showers*cough*.' she added with a grin.
'If you're wondering how I know that, that first night I saw how much and long you were hesitating and I knew enough.' she continued in response to Riven's astonished look.
'Come on now, choose whatever you want, this one's on me!'
She outstretched her hand again, showing a broad and warm smile. Riven couldn't resist her loving laugh and took Ellie's hand with a smile of herself.
Hayden saw the two woman come walking towards him, seeing Ellie, who was yet again explaining something, once again energetically gesturing and talking. Also, it had surprised him that it was Riven who was carrying the things they had bought. Or on second thought, no it isn't surprising... And what made him raise his eyebrows even more was the fact that she was carrying a bunch of sweets and a sac of chips.
'I knew you just had to bring something along.' he smiled.
'Gotta keep the stereotypes alive.' Ellie innocently smiled back.
'And Riven is just carrying the things or was she also allowed to choose something?'
-'Something? The girl chose all of it!'
Riven's cheeks flushed a bit again at Ellie playfully accusing her.
'Sweet of heart and also having a thing for sweets.' Ellie snickered, but showed a warm smile nonetheless. In didn't quite help in relieving Riven's embarrassment, though.
'Is she really sleeping, by the way?' Ellie asked, now looking at the peacefully sleeping Zyra, comfortably cuddled up to him, her head resting on Hayden's shoulder.
'I think so. And quite a deep slumber too. She didn't move a single bit when you guys arrive and started to make noise.'
-'Or maybe she just likes your shoulder.' Ellie chuckled. 'However, time's catching up to us, so let's get her awake again!'
Ellie walked up to Zyra and wanted to bend over, but was halted by Hayden.
'Don't start and shake her through or whatever you think will get her in an active mood again.'
-'Relax, I'm not going to beat her up or something. Maybe you should wake her, Riven, you know how to wake someone up in a very gentle manner.'
She sent an annoyed glare towards Riven, who in turn laughed at the memory. The woman stepped forward in return.
'I'll do it, then. "In a very gentle manner."' she said, smiling innocently at Ellie while she passed her. Now, she faced Zyra and slowly bent over. With the palm of her hand, she slowly caressed Zyra's cheek.
'Wake up, Zyra.' she said, in a tender tone only her soft voice could reach. Behind her, Ellie's eyes grew big out of indignation, having to witness the indeed gentle manner in which Riven was waking up Zyra, in contradiction to the way she woke her up. She folded her hands over each other muttered some angry invectives under her breath while Riven annoyingly blew some air into Zyra's face like she tried with Ellie, but in contradiction to Ellie, Zyra slightly moved.
'Hayden should've just moved his shoulder.' grumbled a grumpy Ellie. The red haired woman frowned a bit and stirred, muttering some soft words. Then, she dazedly opened her eyes and looked up, squeezing her eyes again because of the sunlight shining directly in her eyes.
'Wake up, sleepyhead.' Riven smiled, at the same time moving in front of her so that the sunlight not beamed directly at Zyra anymore. The woman gave her a relieved and thankful smile while she got up from Hayden's shoulders. She rubbed her eyes and shook her head a bit to get the last bits of sleep out.
'Guess I fell asleep...What time is it?'
Riven extended her hand to help her up in response.
'Time to catch our flight.'

un1tBats293: I can't really say who/what is and who/what isn't transferred to Earth yet, spoilerzz (And also I don't have everything completely defined yet, but ssshh) and dat Veigar though, now I can't look at a picture of Kom Jong-un without some Veigar quotes, thank you ._.
Guest: I can assure you, I'm constantly writing ^^ If I would ever stop, I'll certainly announce it, and it would be with pain in my heart and has to have a very legit reason then. And if I don't and still am not updating for several months or so, then you can assume I'm dead or in a coma, because I would never leave a story to die D:
Well, that was it :D I can not thank the people who read, fav, follow and review enough! :D And that's also why I keep doing it with every upload; sorry if it starts to bother x)
See you in a next chapter, or perhaps on League, if the odds would be in our favour!^^
