Hey, well here's chapter fourteen. Yay. I apologize for any and all errors. I was upset that the editing I did earlier in the year still has errors. But I'm leaving them. I did my best. But enjoy, if you want.

Kagome glared at her propped up leg. She'd been allowed to go home, but only on the condition that she refrained from training, walking for long distances, jumping, and anything that was fun for her excluding reading. That'd been two days ago, she'd been moved temporarily downstairs so she wouldn't have to regularly traverse steps. She was currently laid out on a couch in one of the smaller libraries of the house. She tossed her head back releasing a frustrated groan that shifted to a humourless laugh, "Fuck, I'm bored." she whined out. "Why haven't you healed yet?" she griped at her leg.

"My goodness you've only been inside for a couple days, stop acting like you've been imprisoned in Azkaban." Draco commented strolling into the room, returning books to the shelves. He turned to her expecting a harsh gaze but almost recoiled at the pure glee on her face. "What?"

"Draco," she said with a sugary tone as she sat up a bit. "You amazing life saver, could you take me outside? Just for a little while?" She asked purple eyes bright with hope.

"I could," he started rubbing his chin in contemplation. "But." he smirked when her mood faltering. "What would be in it for me?"

"A never ending friendship filled with understanding and appreciation." she smiled trying to convince him.

He pretended to ponder it before shaking his head. "I need something more concrete. I mean as alluring as friendship is, I think I want to avoid that path, especially with my future wife."

She deflated but persisted. "How about I," she paused sagging her head into the arm of the couch. "What do you want?"

"Hmm," he walked close to her, tilting her head so that their eyes meet. "What do I want from you? Well there is a lot. How about if I take you outside you let me kiss you for a few minutes." He stopped and placed a finger over her lips silencing her retort. "Let me finish, love. With this act I want equal participation, I don't want to feel like I'm snogging a trout. How does that sound?"

She grimaced before smirking two could play this game Malfoy. "I think that sounds unacceptable." she mimicked him. "Let me finish, Malfoy. How about to show my gratitude for getting me medical attention. I'll indulge your desire to kiss me, but you only get one. Then no more and you'll accept my humble offering of appreciation."

He kissed the finger before pulling their faces closer together noses touching. "As tempting as that sounds. I think my effort to get you out should have a bigger pay off. My offer still stands but I'll gladly include the kiss for saving you." He smirked as a blush spread over her cheeks. "Unless you want to stay in here."

Kagome sucked up her pride. "Fine, just get me outside for a little while."

"I knew you'd see it my way." he leaned in and pecked her lips. "That was your gratitude kiss." he stated. He slid one arm under her legs being mindful of her injuries and the other under the arch of her back. While she looped her non injured arm around his neck. He hefted her up, and maneuvered them out of the room and down the hall. She perked as they entered the sitting room with majority glass walls that led to the expansive stretch of land behind their home. She wrapped her good arm around his neck holding in a hiss as it strained her healing muscles, this freed his arm to be able to open the door.

She reveled at the sun kissing her cheeks, the wind rushing over them. She almost lost herself in the bliss until she remembered, the other presence. She looked up before immediately averting it feel her cheeks heating at his intense grey gaze. "Thank you, you can place me down now." She looked at the lush grass, voice stuttering.

"Where?" He looked around for a somewhere plush to place.

"On the grass." A breeze sweeping past them rustling the lush greenness beneath them. "It won't kill me."

"I know that." He grumbled as he knelt placing her down with care.

She reclined on the grass shifting so there would be as little pressure on her ribs as possible. If she could she'd become grass at that moment, it just felt nice under her. She ran her fingers over the blades enjoying the coolness. She cracked an eye open when Draco sat down beside her. "What?" When he didn't answer she closed it. "You can leave now."

"I think not, you owe me something" He propped himself over her hand on either side of her head.

She smiled sheepishly "I thought you had forgotten."

He leaned in close their lips nearly touching. "Not if your lips are involved."

Before the kiss could happen, someone cleared their throat. They look over to see Snape. The man looked down at them. "Higurashi, the doctor made it clear you were to stay inside."

"She never said that. I just couldn't train, grass is not going to kill me." She huffed. She yelped when she was levitated off of the ground. Draco sprung to his feet to hold her in his arms, in case she fell. She glared at Snape as he put his wand away. "Why?"

"There's no room for disagreement. You have a few minutes, after Draco returns you to your room, to get dressed or I'll dress you myself. And it will be unpleasant for us both." He turned briskly away robes billowing behind him.

"Are you alright?" Draco asked as she shifted in his arms.

"I'm fine." She leaned into him as he lifted her up. "I guess I need to go to the doctor. I want the pain to stop." She moaned.

"I thought the potions helped."

"Not really, they take the edge off but there's the dull ache that just builds.." She stated, she looked up at him. "Distract me." She uttered in a soft tone, breath momentarily shallow as her ribs decided expanding was just too much right now.

"Want to fulfill your end of our bargain?" He requested cheekily.

"What?" She asked through her teeth, still reeling from the pain.

"After you get changed out of your rags, you have a deal to uphold." He reminded her.

"Fuck." She groaned.

"That'd be nice." He quipped.

"What?" She asked confused, she let it slid to continue. "Draco, I'm not going to be able to stand much on my own, can I extend our agreement?"

"Of course."

"I'm not going to even bother, what do you want?" She was ready for whatever he could ask of her.

"Well, I just want you to act more cuddly towards me while we are out." He paused momentarily tightening his grip on her while he ascended the steps into the home. "Sorry," He said under his breath, as she hissed in pain.

"How so?"

"Just lean on me while we walk places, sit near me and not hit me." He suggested.

"Don't grope me, you had it coming." She shot back.

"Anyway, just relax around me. Don't worry about the kissing I can call that favor in later tonight." He smirked down at her. She was regretting ever asking him for help, but what was done was done. And he could never be as bad as going to the doctor.

Well there we have it. Love you guys, you're let me date this chapter, Happy Holidays.
