Last chapter reviews weren't that many so I got worried about if you all were still with me with this story, I hope you all are. I would like to say thanks to the few who did review. Well here is chapter 14.
Chapter 14: Family Vacation Part I
Two weeks later:
Elliot walked into the squad room and went straight to his desk seeing as he was the first there. He had been back for a week and he missed having Olivia there, he would call her every chance he got just to hear her voice. Yet he was glad he had sometime alone, this gave him a chance to work on a couple of surprises for Liv and the kids for their family vacation. He saw Amanda and Nick walk in, "Good morning guys." Elliot said looking up from his computer.
"Morning Stabler," Nick said as he sat at his desk.
"Morning, how's Olivia doing today," Amanda asked with genuine concern.
Elliot smiled at Amanda, even though Amanda just met Olivia just over a month ago, she care a lot about her. "She's going crazy from boredom, she want to return back to work already." Elliot said. The doctors had told Olivia that she could return to work after their trip which would give her plenty of time to be fully recovered and be ready for full activity.
Amanda nodded, "I'll be bored to just sitting around my place too," Amanda said as she walked to her desk and sat down. She too like Olivia likes to stay busy.
"Well I told her she could start packing today since we'll be leaving in two days." Elliot said. He couldn't wait to go on vacation with his family, it was long overdue.
"So where are you guys going?" Nick asked.
"The Florida Keys, everyone finally agreed on something. We'll be spending a week there just relaxing and having some much needed family time." Elliot said as he saw Cragen walk in, he got up and walked over to Cragen.
"Morning Elliot, what can I do for you?" Cragen asked as they walked into his office.
"I want to ask you something and ask you a favor." Elliot said as he closed the door.
The day went by with only two cases that came in. One was an open and shut case while the other took a little more work. It was after 11pm when Elliot got home. He walked in and checks on all the kids before going into his and Olivia's bedroom. He was surprised to see Olivia still up reading a book. "Hey, you're still up." Elliot said giving her a kiss.
"Couldn't sleep, how was work today?" Olivia asked putting her book down.
"Two cases one a husband raped and beat his wife. Found out it was going on for years, it was an open shut case. The other, the victim was found in an ally cut up and raped. She didn't make it though. It took all day to find a suspect and nail him after Amanda and Fin grilled him. The guy only just got of prison less than 24 hours before attacking a woman." Elliot said as he stripped down to his boxers and got into bed pulling Olivia close to him.
Olivia sighed happily into Elliot's chest, "Well at least you caught him." Olivia said as she drew circles on his chest. "So I am all packed to go. I started some of your packing also. I also talked to Janet today and she said she's already ready and packed. Everybody is looking forward to this trip El." Olivia said.
"Well it's been a tough couple of months for everybody, so I can see why everyone is ready for a vacation." Elliot said as he kissed Olivia's head. They both soon fell asleep in each other arms.
Olivia, Elliot, Janet and the kids all rushed through the airport so they could catch their flight. When they got to their gate they were glad to see that they had yet to board the plane. Five minutes later they boarded their plane sitting in first class which surprised everyone except Elliot and Olivia.
Two and half hours later they landed in Florida, all happy to finally get there and start having fun. They went to rent two SUV's for their stay. They then drove to the vacation home that they were staying at for the week. When they pulled up at the house everyone gasped at the luxurious vacation home that was right off the beach. This was one of the surprises that Elliot had for them.
Olivia looked at Elliot, "El this is a beautiful place. I haven't even been inside yet and I already don't want to leave." Olivia said still looking at the house.
Elliot laughed at all their excitement, "I'm glad you all like the house so far, you all should check out the inside and back." The only response Elliot received was all the kids rushing into the house, "The master suite is my and Olivia's." Elliot shouted at them. Elliot pulled Olivia close to him and whispered, "You'll love the master suite." Elliot said with a knowing smirk.
Olivia just laughed as they followed Janet who was carrying Zoey into the house.
Dickie came to them, "Dad this place is awesome, it has a pool and a hot tub and the biggest flat screen TV I ever saw in the entertainment room." Dickie said as he rushed up stairs.
Olivia laughed, I never seen Dickie so excited. But I can't blame him this place is amazing El." Olivia said as they walked into the beautiful spacious kitchen where you can see the ocean. She felt Elliot pull her out of the kitchen, "El," Olivia said.
"Liv," Elliot said mocking her, "Liv I just want to show you something." Elliot said as they head up the stairs to the third floor. When they got to the top of the stairs there was a door, before Elliot opened the door he told Olivia to close her eyes. He guided her into the room then told her to open them.
When Olivia opened her eyes she gasped at the spacious master suite with a balcony, a king size bed that face the ocean, two walls were just windows that gave them an amazing view of the ocean. Elliot took her into their master bath where there was a hot tub where they could also see the ocean and a walk in shower and his and hers sink. Olivia turned to Elliot, "El this room is perfect." Olivia said, still trying to take in everything.
Elliot guided Olivia back into the room then wrapped his arms around her waist. "I'm glad that you like it. Liv we have the entire third floor to ourselves." Elliot said as he kiss her passionately.
They were interrupted by a knock, Olivia smiled at Elliot who groan, "Don't worry we got all tonight and the rest of the week." Olivia said understanding that Elliot wanted some alone time with her because she did too. She walked to the door and opened it to see everyone standing there.
"'Bout time you guy's open the door, wow this room is amazing." Maureen said walking into the room along with everyone else.
"You guy's got the whole third floor to yourselves…look at that view." Lizzie said.
Janet walked over to Olivia who took Zoey from her she smiled at Olivia, "I guess you and Elliot will be spending the whole week up here. You never know after this vacation you might finally have one of your own." Janet said as she nodded towards Zoey who was smiling up at them.
Olivia looked down at the baby girl in her arms she couldn't wait to have one of her own especially with Elliot. She could see their child now with his blue eyes and with her hair.
"Earth to Liv," Elliot said bringing Olivia out of her thoughts, "You ok?" Elliot asked with concern laced in his voice as he put a hand on her back.
"Yeah sorry just got caught up in a thought, I'm fine. What were you saying?" Olivia asked giving him her full attention.
"Um… I was saying that maybe you guys can go hang out at the beach and relax while I run to the store to grab food and then we can have a cookout tonight on the patio." Elliot said.
"Sounds good, let me give you a list of things that we might need." Olivia said handing Zoey back to Janet.
Everybody gave Elliot a list of things that they wanted. Then everybody started to get ready for the beach. After everyone changed they headed towards the beach where the kids ran into the water and Olivia, Janet, and Zoey lay on the lounge chair soaking in the sun before it disappeared for the day.
Olivia took Zoey from Janet and started to play with her. "So have you guys found a place yet?" Janet asked as she watched Olivia make baby voices at her daughter making Zoey laugh.
Olivia shook her head, "Every place that we look at is either too small or too far away from work and school. We did however find a really nice house in Queens it's the perfect size for us. We put in a bid for it but it looks likes another family may out bid us." Olivia said with disappointment in her voice. She really was hoping that they could get the house, she really liked it and felt was perfect for them.
"I'm sure everything will work out." Janet stood up and stretched, "I think I'm going to get in the water. Want to come." Janet said looking at Olivia.
Olivia shrugged, "Why not, come Zoey want to go play in the water." Olivia cooed at the baby girl causing her to giggle. "I'll take that as a yes." Olivia said standing up handing Zoey to Janet as she pulled her shorts off.
They all had fun in the water until Elliot got back, then Olivia and Janet helped with the food. When it was ready they all ate on the patio talking.
"Dad this was a great idea, having a cookout." Maureen said as they watched the sunset and heard the waves crashing on the beach.
"Yeah Dad great idea with the whole vacation period," Dickie said taking a bite of his burger.
"I'm glad you all are enjoying yourselves. Maybe tomorrow we could go parasailing for a bit then go check out the city, later on Olivia and me can take a walk on the beach." Elliot said.
Dickie shrugged, "Sounds good especially the parasailing and while you two are out I can go check out the hot women at the beach. Aww," Dickie yelled when Kathleen slapped the back of his head, "What do you expect I'm a teenage boy." Dickie said trying to give a reason for his behavior.
"Look you guys can do whatever you want as long as you behave." Elliot said looking at Dickie.
After everyone finished eating, they cleaned up the patio before heading back into the house. They watched a movie in the entertainment room, after the first movie was over Elliot pulled Olivia upstairs to their room, locked the door then he attack her lips. Before they knew it clothes were shed and Elliot lifted Olivia and carried her to the bed. They hardly broke apart from kissing. "God Liv I love you so much." Elliot said as he attached his lips to her neck sucking on her pulse hearing her moan, he loved that sound from her.
"I…God El… love you too." Olivia managed to say. Whenever Elliot was kissing her she can't think straight. "El I need…" Olivia didn't finish her statement as she let out a loud moan when Elliot thrust into her, he always knew what she needed and wanted.
For the rest of the night they made love, happy to be with each other without any worries.
The next morning Olivia was in the kitchen dancing while she was making breakfast. She has never felt so good, this was a great day. She felt a set of arms wrapped around her. She turned around still dancing, giving Elliot a passionate kiss. "Good morning." Olivia said before turning back around to finish cooking.
Elliot let out a soft moan as he felt Olivia's body move against him, "Morning baby." Elliot said as he started to kiss Olivia's neck. He pulled back and watched Olivia for another minute before setting the patio table. By the time everything was ready everyone was up and ready to eat.
After breakfast everyone got ready to go parasailing. Elliot checked the boat to make sure it had enough life vests and found one for Zoey. After everything was ready they headed out on the boat.
"I'm going first." Dickie said already getting himself strapped in.
"Fine, but I'm going with you." Lizzie said as Olivia helped her get strapped in.
"You guys ready back there?" Elliot asked glancing back for a second, slowing the boat a little. When he received the go ahead, he sped the boat up. He heard Lizzie screaming at the top of her lungs as Dickie was laughing. After a couple of minutes, Kathleen and Maureen were next, then Olivia and Janet, lastly Elliot went up with Dickie who wanted to go again while Olivia drove the boat.
"Dad this was awesome, we have to do this again before we leave." Dickie said as they detached themselves from the parasail.
Elliot nodded in agreement. Elliot saw as Olivia took off her shorts, "Liv what..."The next thing he knew he heard a loud splash. Elliot walked to the edge of the boat, "Liv what are you doing." Elliot yelled.
"Taking a swim what do you think, why don't jump in the water is great." Olivia said as she started to swim.
Elliot just shook his head, he then heard Dickie and Maureen jump in the water also, he shrugged and jump in the water also. He started to swim towards Olivia going under the water to sneak up on her.
Olivia screamed as she felt something tugged at her leg, and then relax when she saw Elliot's shadow under the water. "Elliot I'm going to kill." Olivia said as Elliot wrapped his arms around her.
"Hey at least I die a happy man. But I know you can't live without me." Elliot said as he kissed Olivia.
A few minutes later Kathleen jumped in also. They had a water fight and swim a little before getting out of the water.
"You all looked like big kids in the water." Janet said laughing bouncing Zoey on her leg.
They headed back to the dock by the house where they changed to go cite seeing nearby. After shopping a little they headed back to the house where they kids along with Janet decided to go grab something to eat at one of the local restaurants that was off the beach.
Elliot and Olivia were walking barefoot hand and hand along the edge of the water on the beach. "El I want to try and have a baby." Olivia said out of the blue. She had been thinking about it since the other day and figured this was the perfect time to bring it up.
Elliot pulled her into his arms, "Liv I told you only thing you have to do is say the word and we can get to work on it, even though we already were sort of working on it as it is." Elliot said kissing Olivia. He couldn't wait anymore; he wanted to ask her now not later. "Liv I love you so much and I can't wait to start having kids with you." Elliot paused taking a deep breath, "When I met you and look into your eyes eleven years ago Liv I fell over the hills in love with you and it only got stronger as the years went by. It was only a matter of time until we arrived at this moment together. Being with you I finally know what true loves fills like. I want to be with you for the rest of my life." Elliot said.
Olivia gasped and tears filled her eyes as she watched Elliot get down on one knee, "El…" Olivia choked out.
Elliot had tears in his eyes also, "I know we haven't been dating long but I felt like we've been dating for the past eleven years. Liv will you marry me?" Elliot asked as he pulled out the ring that he kept in his pocket.
Olivia wiped the tears from her eyes, "God yes, yes I'll marry you Elliot." Olivia said as Elliot slid the ring on her finger then kissing her. Olivia couldn't wait to be his wife.
