Boldkit stretched his short limbs, his thin brown tabby pelt ruffling slightly. And he got to his paws, gazing out across the camp. Every cat was out about, relaxing, enjoying a fine morning, getting orders for the patrols from the clan deputy. Boldkit stepped out of the nursery, and he felt somewhat sleepy as he began to walk down towards the center of the camp where Heatherface sat talking to the other warriors.

"Heatherface, Heatherface, can we play a game of mouse and warrior?" Boldkit asked excitedly, jumping around on his paws.

Heatherface turned her face to face the small brown tabby tom. "Not now Boldkit, I'm busy with these patrols. Maybe later." Heatherface told him, not losing her sight on the small patrol that contains Featherdance, Dusknose, Flamebird, and Spottedwing.

Boldkit dropped his tail. "Okay, sorry to bother you." He apologized. Padding off back towards the nursery, tail low still. Heatherface's eyes seemed to follow him.

Then a moss ball hit him gently in the face, and he turned expecting to see Jackallily's kits wanting to play with him. But he was surprised to see Coyotestar standing there. "I have nothing much to do, want to play?" she asked kindly, her golden eyes gleamed.

Boldkit smirked, lashing his tail side to side playfully. As he thrust himself at the ball, knocking it off the ground and zooming straight at Coyotestar. The tan she-cat leapt into the air, barely dodging it by a tail length; while able to slam into it at the same time. "Impressive kick, Boldkit." She praised.

Boldkit raised his head proudly; this was something he heard a lot. But it was a first from the Clan Leader, and it filled him with more pride.

Coyotestar threw the moss ball into the air, and head butted it back at him. He pinned it with his paws. "Not so hard this time, don't want to almost kill me now." she teased light halfheartedly.

Boldkit threw the ball in the air; he spun around and knocked it back at the clan leader with a kick from his hind legs. Boldkit watched the moss ball almost made past the clan leader. But her body managed to block the moss ball with her small slender body. And she swatted the ball back at the small kit.

Swiftkit, Cloudykit, and Muzzlekit saw this game, and they ran over eager to join in their game. Two of the three kits split up into teams, and the other became the referee for the game. Two whole games later; and Heatherface joined in later with Muzzlekit joining hers and Boldkit's side, the sun was setting, and the kits were getting herded back to the nursery. Jackallily was being gentle with her kits, while Leaffall was hastily nudging Boldkit to their nest.
