A peaceful day in the School of Friendship, and Twilight and teaching a class. And Spike opens a large chest, and Twilight using her magic brought 7 artifacts.

"Who can tell me what these are?" Twilight asked her students.

"Whoa." Sandbar in awe.

"Me likely." Gallus said.

"Shiny!" Yona smiled.

"Wow." Apato said.

"Amazing." Jr said wondrously.

"Treasure?" Smolder guessed.

"Nope! They're all legendary magical artifacts!" Ocellus beamed.

The other students turn to her.

"How'd you know that?" Rex asked.

Ocellus laughed nervously a bit. "I've read ahead in Equestrian Cultures and Camaraderie: Volume 7." She held up a book she's holding.

"You're right, Ocellus." Twilight said.

"What artifacts are they?" Blaze asked.

"This is the Amulet of Aurora," Twilight brought out a silver amulet and with a blue jewel in a tear drop part of it. "the Tailsman of Mirage," And then a tailsman in purple coloration, and sporting a golden colored gem. "the Helm of Yksler," Which is a helmet with horns on the side. "the Crown of Grover," Which is a golden yellow crown with a red jewel. "Knuckerbocker's Shell," Which is a shell made into a horn. "and Clover the Clever's Cloak." Which is a cloak in blue coloration and once wore by Clover the Clever herself. "And lastly, the Tooth of Slattern." She brought out a large tooth and sports a carving of a large monster creature with a Hammerhead Shark like head. 4 powerful legs and has 3 long tails with sharp tips.

"And the gems are real!" Spike said flying in midair.

Twilight turns to him.

"Eh, not that I... tasted them." Spike said flew back.

Twilight got back to the subject. "Princess Celestia gifted these for our school, since they each represent one of the cultures our students come from. And the tooth I was given special permission from Tyrant."

"Hey, that tooth is actually one of the few surviving artifacts that have survived and were brought back." Jr said. "My parents told me it actually came from a giant monster from another world. It was as big as some of the biggest dinosaurs."

The other students minus the other young dinosaurs are were amazed by that.

"Right you are Jr, and a great lesson you shared." Twilight smiled. "And we'll learn about them in Spell-venger Hunt!"

The students glanced each other.

"Spell what?" Rex questioned.

"Is that a pony thing?" Smolder leaned to Sandbar.

"Eh." Sandbar shrugged.

Twilight went up to them. "It's a magical scavenger hunt. Each of you will work in pairs to try to find where in the school these artifacts are hidden." She then flew up and high fives Spike.

"The team that finds the most wins a private tour of the Canterlot Archives with Princess Celestia." Spike added.

Twilight giggled with a nod.

"Learning and fun?!" Silverstream squealed excitedly. "Does it get any better than that?!" She then flew down and sat down.

"You've been underwater for a long time, haven't you?" Gallus asked.

"Well, the Hippogriffs were forced to hide from Indom." Jr said.

"I think it was a few years after the war we went through." Apato thought.

"Gallus and Silverstream, Jr and Apato, sounds like you're our first 2 pairs!" Twilight announced as she and Spike placed the artifacts back in the chest.

"Hey, I bit we can find 4 artifacts before you can find even one." Jr challenged Gallus.

"Oh, you 2 are on!" Gallus said.

Then strangely, the students gasped.

"What? They'll make a great team." Twilight said confused of them.

And there was a flashing sound.

"Uh, it's not that." Patchi said. "But, are flashing marks on Ponies naturally?"

Yona raised her hoof "Um, why Pony glowing?" Yona asked.

"Is it normal for you, since Sparkle is in your name?" Jr asked.

Twilight extended her left wing and saw her Cutie Mark flashing.

Twilight and Spike soon headed to the castle's throne room. And saw the others who are also being called.

"Wait. You all were called on this friendship quest, too?" Twilight surprised by this.

The last they were all summoned, was with the Pony of Shadows.

"It must be a really important one." Fluttershy said.

"And terribly far away." Rarity added.

On the Map, their location was on the edge of the Map. Many miles to the south, only 30 miles northwest of Isla Sauro. In fact, it was in the Saurian Island Archipelago Chain.

"Just getting there will take days!" Rainbow complained.

"Do y'all know what these means?" Applejack questioned. "There won't be any teachers left to run the school!"

The others gasped.

Now they were left of figuring out the best decision.

"Should we send our students home?" Fluttershy suggested.

"I say we take 'em with us!" Pinkie said. "Road trip!"

"In the middle of my friendship quilting class?" Rarity questioned. "I think not! All of those unfinished seam!"

She then faints, but Fluttershy caught her.

"Problem is don't even know how long we'll be gone." Applejack said.

"Don't worry, everypony." Twilight assured and brought a big scroll. "I already have a 70-point plan in place for this situation."

The others glanced each other.

"You want me to be headmare?!" Starlight shocked.

At Twilight's office, she brought in Starlight and Echo to watch over the school

"Along with me?!" Echo said.

"You're the perfect choice!" Twilight said. "You're a good leader and an expert in friendship. I trust you 2 to run this school exactly as I would."

"Uh, that's a pretty big responsibility, Twilight." Starlight said.

"Yeah, I don't know." Echo said unsurely.

Truth be told, Echo is still getting over the guilt of when working with Indrago.

And then, Twilight used her magic and brought her to her desk.

"Which is why I've prepared everything you need." Twilight and then rings a bell.

And then Spike came through the doors with a wheel-barrel full of books and scrolls. And then, Spike unloads them on the desk.

And Twilight brought out different items. "The curriculum, rules for the Spell-venger hunt, dining hall menus for the next 6 months..."

"6 months?!" Spike climbed on top of the scrolls. "You're really gonna be gone that long, are you?"

"...and Spike." Twilight placed him on top of the scrolls. "Anything that isn't covered in my files, he'll be able to help you with."

Starlight then brought her head through the scroll pile. "Then why not put him in charge?"

"No-ho-ho, thanks." Spike said remembering his lesson from the time he filled in for Twilight in Canterlot. "Eh, being a princess for Twilight was hard enough."

"I'm gonna pretend that made sense." Starlight remembering that time they told her. "But if you're sure it's what you really want, I promise I won't let you down."

"I guess I could try." Echo said.

"I knew I could count on you." Twilight heading out with a suitcase.

And she exits the room.

Then suddenly, the scrolls started coming down and Spike flew up.

"Great." Starlight said depressed. "What could possibly go wrong?"

A short time later, the Mane 6 ran off to their friendship quest. And Starlight and Echo waved goodbye.

"Goodbye, Rarity!" Spike called.

Starlight and Echo stared at him.

"A-And everypony!" Spike added.

"Come back soon!" Starlight said. "Please!"

"Be careful, out there!" Echo called.

Next to then, Discord was tearing up and waving goodbye as well. They didn't noticed him until he blew his nose.

"I hate goodbyes, don't you?" He said in tears. "I just go to pieces."

And then he broke into a dozen pieces.

"Discord!" Starlight surprised. "What a... heh... nice surprise!"

Discord gave a thumbs up.

"This is your first time at our new school, isn't it?" Starlight said and Spike nodded.

"Oh, was I not invited to the grand opening?" Discord said in a suit.

"Friends and Family Day?" A 2nd Discord in a sailor outfit.

"Baccalaureate?" A 3rd wearing a cap and gown.

"I hadn't noticed." They all said.

And then with a flash, Discord appeared again.

"Well, at least you're here now." Starlight said. "Um, why are you here now?"

"Yeah, can we help you with something?" Echo asked.

"To fill in for Twilight, of course, as head-Draconequus." Discord said. "I seem to recall a whole song about how this school is where you make your own rules. Now, who better at that than me?"

Spike flew up to him. "Then you also must've heard Starlight and Echo is in charge now."

"Really?" Discord said. "I thought there must be some mistake."

He then flicks Spike away.

"Nope. Twilight picked me for the job." Starlight said. "And Echo to help out. And she left pretty detailed instructions for us to follow." She brought a list.

Discord took the list see for himself. "Well, I'm sure that she wouldn't mind a few tiny suggestions."

"Like?" Echo questioned.

Discord snaps his fingers, and a red quill appeared. "Item one - Gravity is optional."

"What?" Echo asked.

Then suddenly they were floating in mid air.

"What is this?" Echo a little panicked.

"Item two - The school's new mascot is an Ambidextrous Marmoset." Discord continued.

"A what?" Echo asked.

And then an Ambidextrous Marmoset appeared, and Discord tied a balloon string to keep it from floating away. "Item three-"

But then Starlight took the list from him.

"Not gonna happen." Starlight said. "I promised Twilight I'd handle this her way. So thanks, but no thanks."

She then moved away.

"Reeeeeeally?" Discord said as if he was being challenged. "Well, we'll see if you change you mind."

He then snaps his fingers, and he was gone. And then the gravity came back.

And Spike went up to Starlight.

"Uh-oh." Spike familiar by that attitude. "When we play Orges and Oubliettes and he puts that many E's in "really", the things don't usually end well."

"Don't worry, Spike." Starlight assured. "Discord and I are old "save Equestria" buddies. He'll be fine. Now, what's next on Twilight's list?"

And the 3 entered inside.

The next day, Starlight, Spike and Echo were going through the list.

"Okay, I hid the artifacts for the Spell-venger Hunt and ordered school supplies for the week." Spike said looking through the list. "All you have to worry about is teaching class."

Starlight sighs in relief. "Thanks, Spike. Maybe we will get through this okay."

"Yeah, I guess we should be okay." Echo said.

Starlight opens the doors to Twilight's office, but then they were in for a surprise.

"What the...?" Echo shocked.

The entire office was totally chaotic. And Discord was at the desk working on top of a tree. He was using a type writer with a piece of bread.

"Come in, come in." Discord said. "You'll let the Twittermites out." He then ate the bread.

"Twittermites?" Spike wondered.

Then a swarm of Twittermites appeared, and then they zapped Spike causing him to jump into the moat of water.

"Discord! What are you doing?!" Starlight demanded.

"What are you doing in here?!" Echo demanded as well.

And then Spike surfaced.

"Nopony was at your desk." Discord said. "Imagine what Twilight would say." He stretched down to them. And then appeared behind them wearing a wig of Twilight's mane. "Oh, how could you, Starlight?! You've broken my trust and failed me completely!" He then placed the wig over Starlight's head. "Oh, don't worry. I'll cover for you. By the way, I hope like Limburger cheese. I got a month's supply for the teacher's lounge."

He then snapped his fingers, and a crate appeared. And it opened revealing a huge wheel of cheese and it rolls out.

Spike was trying to keep the Twittermites away with bug spray. And then he saw the wheel of cheese rolling at him, and runs. But he didn't get far as the wheel dropped on top of him. He was able to break free, but he smelled badly as they covered their noses.

"Okay, you need a bath." Echo said. "In triple time!"

"We'll take it from here, Discord." Starlight said. And then pushes him outside. "Go relax. Have a cup of tea. At home."

She tries to close the door, but Discord blocks it.

"Oh! Some thanks for all my help." Discord said. "And after I hired all those substitute teachers for you."

Spike finally pulled himself from the cheese block. "Actually, that does sound kinda helpful. And it was on our to-do list." He brought out the list.

"Which teachers did you hire?" Starlight asked suspiciously.

"Yeah, who did you bring?" Echo asked.

Discord smirked.

In Fluttershy's class, Iron Will was teaching. But his kind of attitude of scaring the students. And since Iron Will is someone who only looks for trouble like the time of buffing up Fluttershy into a rude manner. And the time he used Twilight's fame for a cruise.

"They call it "making friends", because you have to make creatures be your friends!" Iron Will said. "Show me what you've got, Yak!"

Yona got up to the front of the class.

Yona clears her throat. "Be my friend." She said quietly.

"If you're quiet, I don't buy it!" Iron Will said.

"Be my friend!" Yona said louder.

"I've heard pudding that's more convincing!" Iron Will said.

And then Yona snorts. "BE! MY! FRIEND!"

"Run!" Rex said.

And then the other students zipped off.

And Iron Will was impressed by that.

And Echo, Spike, Starlight and Discord pier their head behind a wall.

"That's not how Twilight teaches friendship." Starlight said quietly.

Echo nodded.

Meanwhile, outside, another sub that Discord hired was Cranky.

But the class were keeping him relax. Cozy filing his hoof, a Unicorn giving a massage on his leg. And a Pegasus fanning him.

"Some field trip!" Cranky said. "Where's my iced tea?!"

Gallus appeared with a glass of iced tea, and gives it to him as he drinks. But then sips it at his face.

"This is too cold!" Cranky said.

Gallus flew off, and came back with a new glass. He takes a sip, but sips again.

"Not it's too hot!" Cranky said.

Gallus left and came with a new glass. Cranky takes a sip, but sips again.

"Now it's too tea-flavored!" Cranky knocked the platter from Gallus. "You call yourselves friends?!"

Buck angrily groaned.

Nearby, Starlight, Echo and Spike watch from the bushes.

"That is definitely not how Twilight teaches friendship." Spike said.

Discord drinks from a glass.

In Twilight's class, it was actually a tree.

And that had the students with confused looks. And Silverstream awkwardly placed an apple on the desk.

Starlight, Echo were equally confused as well.

"You hired a tree as a teacher?" Starlight questioned Discord.

"Are you kidding me?" Echo asked.

"Its schedule was free." Discord said.

"Uh, guys?" Spike called blocking his nose. "That's not just any tree."

Then suddenly, Smolder let out a violent sneeze sending her back.

Spike blew his nose. "It's a dragon-sneeze tree."

And then Smolder sneezed again as Starlight, Spike and echo ducked. And Discord held a stick and roasted a marshmallow. And then the students ran out of the class avoiding getting burnt. And Smolder left as well to get away from the tree.

Soon the students were running across the school.

"W-W-W-Wait! Calm down, everycreature! Starlight called. "It's gonna be okay!"

Then suddenly Yona came through the wall leaving a Yona shaped hole in the wall.

"BE MY FRIEEEEENNNND! Yona yelled and beats her chest like Kong.

She then runs off.

Mmmm, my, my, my." Discord patted Starlight on the head. "You do seem like you're over your head. Won't Twilight be so disappointed with how you're ruining-I mean running her school?"

Starlight panics and her eye twitches.

Soon, the students ran outside the school in panic.

And then Starlight angrily turns to Discord who was eating a bag of popcorn.

"Discord! Starlight angrily said. "This is all your fault!"

"Mine?" Discord acting innocent. "I thought you were in charge here. But I'm happy to pitch in if you need me." He then flicks the bag off his baseball glove as it hits the floor.

"What I need is for you to leave!" Starlight said.

Discord snaps his fingers, and then he turns into a leaf. "Happy now?"

"She said leave not leaf!" Echo said.

"Come on, Discord." Spike said. "You know that's not what she means."

"Fine!" Discord then moves over to the window. "From now on, I won't try to help. At! All!" Then the wind carries him away.

"And don't let us catch you here again!" Echo called.

Starlight groans in relief. "Thanks, Spike. Let's hope he stays gone."

"I thought he never leaves." Echo said.

"I wouldn't count on it." Spike said. "I think Discord's trying to test you."

"But why? I thought we were friends." Starlight said.

"Well, it's kinda what he does." Spike said. "Even to ponies or dragons he cares about."

"Oh, well, I'm ready for him." Starlight said up for the challenge.

And they approached a picture frame of Twilight.

"I told Twilight I'd run her school right, and I'm gonna keep that promise." Starlight said firmly. "No matter what."

And the 3 headed out, but then the Twilight blinked revealing Discord's eyes in a smirk.

The next day, Starlight, Spike and Echo called in an announcement with the students. And are joined with Spitfire, Trixie and Maud. Who Starlight hired to teach.

"Good morning, students!" Starlight greeted. "I know there's been a little bit of adjustment since the professors left for their trip. But I've brought in new new teachers. And now everything should run smoothly. Now it's time for class. And don't forget, this afternoon is the Spell-venger Hunt!"

"Boy, I can't wait." Jr said as she and the other students went to class.

In Twilight's classroom, students begin to settle for class.

And then suddenly, Discord came through the doors wearing pants, a shirt, vest, and a cap.

"Yo! Greetings, fellow creatures!" He greeted in a Californian accent.

He then appeared between Gallus, Ocellus and Smolder.

"Is this seat taken?" He asked.

The 3 scooted away from him a bit.

"What is he doing back here?" Blaze questioned.

"Up to no good again." Buck answered.

"This isn't gonna go well, is it?" Patchi said.

And then, Trixie appeared.

"Welcome, class!" Trixie greeted. "You may call me the Great and Powerful Professor Trrrrrri-"

Then suddenly she was cut off by a phone ring.

"Shhh!" Discord shushed. "Really, that's so inconsiderate!"

He then gestures Trixie to continue.

Then there was another ring, and Discord pulled out a bananaphone from his lunch bag.

"Oh, I better take this." Discord said and answers the bananaphone. "Hello?"

Gibberish was heard through the bananaphone.

"Oh, he did not! And what did you say?"

Gibberish was heard.

Discord gasped. "You did not!"

"Discord!" Trixie approached him. "Why are you here?!"

"Why, I'm a student of friendship, of course." Discord said.

"Not!" Buck said.

"Discord ignored that. "Unless you don't think you're good enough to teach me."

"Of course I am!" Trixie said offend. "No fruit calls in my class!"

Discord un-peels the bananaphone and ate the phone.

And Trixie returned to the stage.

"Magic, is the most important element of friendship." Trixie said. "So, today I, the Great and Powerful Trixie, will put on a magic show!"

The students got excited, and unknowingly Discord snaps his fingers.

Trixie removes her hat, and then pulls out a Pigasus. Trixie pushes it back in and sheepishly smiles and meant to pull out a rabbit. She tries again, but pulls out Derpy. She pushes her inside, and feels around. And this time, she pulls out a King Cobra and a Ursa Major.

And the Ursa Major roars.

The students quickly ran for their lives and left the classroom.

Discord chuckled. "I'm learning so much. Aren't you?"

Trixie realized that Discord played a trick on her and growled. "DISCORD!"

Discord smugly leaves the room.

And the Ursa Major and King Cobra vanished. And Trixie placed her hat back on. And then there was a ring, and she brought out her bananaphone.

"Eh, hello?" She called.

Gibberish was heard.

"Um, what exactly is a long distance plan?" Trixie asked.

Meanwhile, Spitfire leaves as the class rest on a bench short of breath.

And then Discord appeared with a coach outfit. "Take a lap, team!"

"Huh?" Jr lifts her head.

"Uh, actually, we just finished Professor Spitfire's workout." Sandbar said.

"Who are you?" Apato asked.

"Sounds like somepony needs a little motivation." Discord said and then blows his whistle.

And then a flash appeared behind the bench as they looked. And then a Bugbear appeared. And the students took off running for their lives.

"I've never run so fast in my life!" Silverstream excitedly said. "Oh, this is great!"

"Well, then step on it!" Scar yelled.

The students ran past Discord and Sandbar came to a stop.

"Hey, coach." Sandbar panted. "We need a break."

"Friendship is about honesty." Discord said. "So believe me when I say... WE'RE NOT STOPPING!" He then blew his whistle.

"Sandbar, run!" Apato yelled.

Sandbar took off running, and then Yona, Apato and Rex and by and with the Bugbear right behind them.

And then the Bugbear almost took a bite off of the 3.

"Yee-ah!" Rex jumped.

"Yona... can't run... faster!" Yona said.

"You're telling me"! Apato said. "But let's not stop right now!"

The Bugbear snaps at Rex only missing him.

"AH! HEEL! HEEL! STOP! BAD BEAR! Rex cried. "Help me, Sauron!"

And then the 3 tripped and fell. And the Bugbear ready's to sting them as Silverstream, Sandbar and Jr went back for them. Then suddenly a bright blue beam hits the Bugbear knocking it aside, it enough to get the Bugbear to leave after recovering from the blow.

They turned and saw Starlight and Echo on the field and were not happy.

"Discord, that's enough!" Starlight said as Spike as behind them. "Endangering students crosses the line!"

"Discord, stop this, right now!" Echo demanded. You're scaring my niece." Jr ran behind her aunt.

"I don't know why you're trying to ruin this school, but it stops now!" Starlight firmly said.

Discord got out of his outfit. "I wouldn't be so sure." He then winked.

"This is your last warning." Starlight warned with her horn glowed threatening to fire.

"Hey-hey-hey!" Spike getting between them. "Take it easy, Starlight! Discord's your friend, remember?"

"Well, he's not acting like it." Starlight said.

Spike realize she's right. "She's right, Discord. What's your problem?"

"My problem?" Discord questioned. "How is the fact that Twilight decided to put an incompetent, power-hungry Unicorn in charge in of her school my problem?!"

Offended by that, Starlight than fires a beam at Discord, and he was soon gone. And when it cleared, there was a huge dent left in the ground.

The students shuddered.

"Is he dead?" Rex exclaimed.

Starlight laughed nervously. "Don't worry. I just banished him from school grounds forever. He's fine."

The students uneasily walks away. And Starlight felt guilty.

"That probably made things worse." Spike said. "Why didn't you just talk to Discord?"

"Because he's right about one thing." Starlight said. "I've been doing a terrible job as headmare."

"Come on, Starlight. Discord was just being an idiot." Echo said. "And he pushed it too far."

"No, you haven't." Spike said. "Discord is just bein'... Discord."

"Maybe." Starlight said. "But I wonder why me being in charge bothers him so much."

And then the school bell rang.

"We can figure that out after the Spell-venger Hunt." Spike said. "C'mon!"

They begin to head to the school.

A short time later, the students gathered around near Starlight. And she explains the Spell-venger Hunt.

"For this afternoon's Spell-venger Hunt, you'll need to use these artifacts' history to find where they're hidden in the castle." Starlight explained using a magic picture. "When you spot one, touch it with a magic shield to keep track of your score."

"Twilight left the list of your hunt partners before she left." Spike flew up holding a list of partners. "I'll pass out the shields."

Spike hands out the wrist shields to the students. And was soon finished.

And Starlight brought a handle and gong. "Ready... set... Spell-venger Hunt!"

She strikes the gong, and the students begin to head out.

"C'mon! We can use Twilight's observatory to watch the teams!" Spike said.

And they begin to head the observatory.

The students search around the school to find the artifacts.

Meanwhile, Smolder was partnered with Ocellus.

"I hope you know where you're going." Smolder said.

"To the Helm of Yksler!" Ocellus said.

"Eh, works for me." Smolder said.

Soon, they reached a hall with armored suits.

"In our book, it says Yksler was an honorable Yak warrior." Ocellus said. "Any enemies that saw him put down their weapons in peace. I think his artifact must be in one of these suits of armor."

Smolder looks around, and then noticed a helmet with Yak horns.

"I'm guessing that one." Smolder gestured to it.

Ocellus looks from her book, and sees it. And they brought their magic shield on it and they flashed.

"Yes! 1 down, 5 to go!" Ocellus said.

They high five, but Smolder accidentally knocks Ocellus off her feet.

From her telescope, Starlight watches as Smolder helps her up.

"Awww, Ocellus and Smolder found their first artifact!" Starlight said.

"Hey, look at this." Echo looking through another. Apato and Jr might find another."

Over with Apato and Jr, they were looking for the Tooth of Slattern.

"Okay, what do we know about the Slattern?" Apato questioned.

"Let's see." Jr thought. "It was a Category 5 Kaiju, head like a Hammerhead Shark. And has 3 long tails. And the tooth has a carving of it."

They looked through a section of hall with some artwork. And then, Jr spotted a familiar carving on one of them.

"Hey, look what I found." Jr called.

Apato went to her, and they brought their magic shields near it. And they flashed.

"Yes! I knew we find it!" Jr beamed.

"Let's hurry if we want to beat Gallus and Silverstream." Apato said.

"Aw, that's my niece." Echo smiled.

Starlight turns back to Ocellus and Smolder.

"Wait! Starlight noticing something. "What's that?"

The suit of armor wearing the Helm of Yksler suddenly came to life. And approached Ocellus and Smolder.

"Uh, I don't think that's part of the Spell-venger Hunt!" Ocellus nervously said.

And then the suit attempts to ram, but they quickly got out of the way and started running. And with the armor chasing them.

"The school is haunted!" Ocellus exclaimed in fear.

"And not cool!" Smolder as well.

Starlight, Spike and Echo gasped.

Meanwhile, Jr and Apato made their way through the hall. But unknowingly, emerging from the Tooth of Slattern, came a ghost figure of the Slattern. And it walked behind them.

And then Jr glanced back, and realized what she saw. She quickly turns to it and shakes in fear.

"Apato, Apato!" Jr exclaimed.

"Jr, what's the matte-" Apato glanced behind. "Nah!"

The Slattern Ghost growls and stood high.

"S-S-S-S-S-S-S-SLATTERN!" They screamed.

They then zipped away as the ghost chases after them.

Meanwhile, in the library, Gallus and Silverstream were looking for any artifacts that might be in there.

"We're totally gonna win this Spell-venger Hunt!" Silverstream said.

"Yeah, I doubt that." Gallus said. "But at least I know where one of the artifacts is. Saw Spike hide it yesterday. And would like to beat Jr and Apato."

He then held his left arm up as his magic shield picked up a single near a picture frame of a Griffon.

Gallus smirks, and bumps the picture as it opens and reveals the Crown of Grover.

"The Crown of Glover!" Gallus beamed. "Score!"

They held their shields their the glover, and they flashed.

"They say it's magic and King Glover used it to become the first ruler of Griffonstone." Gallus said. "I know, pretty sweet, right?"

"You paid attention in class!" Silverstream smiled.

"What?!" Gallus exclaimed. "I-If you ever tell an-"

Then suddenly strangely the picture frame of the Griffon closed on it's own. And they turned as the picture's eyes glowed red and then came to live.

"Whoa!" Gallus amazed.

"3D painting!" Silverstream excitedly said.

And then the frame came loose, and then started chasing them. 2 ponies were reading, and then a Changeling picture came to live and hisses and started chasing them. Same thing on the 2nd floor, and 2 ponies started running.

Starlight watches the whole thing, and then a ghost of Discord appeared, and he laughs.

Yup, that's definitely Discord." Starlight said. "This is not good."

"Ah, I should've known." Echo growled.

"I thought you banished him from the school." Spike said.

"Only his body." Starlight corrected. "Apparently, his ghost can come and go just fine."

"Ah! Is he that hard to get rid of?!" Echo asked.

"Let's go." Starlight said. "We have to stop this."

Starlight pulls on the rope, and she and Echo begin to lower down.

"How!" Spike asked. "No offense, but I think magic is the answer against Discord."

"This time, I'm not using magic." Starlight smiled with a plan.

Unaware of what's going on, Sandbar and Yona were looking for any artifacts.

"Um, what Yona look for?" Yona asked.

"The Shell of Knuckerbocker." Sandbar said. "It's like a seashell, but if you blow into it, you call a dragon! There's a sweet poem in our book about it. "Climb to the heights with dragon flight"." He then gapsed of having an idea. "Like flight of stairs."

"Yona take pony word for it." Yona shrugged.

She begins to head up the stairs, but as she took a step, she suddenly found it hard to move.

"Huh?" Yona confused.

She tries pull free, but she was stuck in the staircase as if it was glue. And then suddenly the stairs turn to quicksand.

"What's happening?!" Sandbar holding on to the stair's railing.

"Yona not know!" Yona panicked. "But Yona do know Yona not like Spell-venger Hunt!"

Sandbar and Yona slid down the trail of sand. And then Ghost Discord appeared. And laughed, and then flips on a lamp as the Shellof Knuckerbocker appeared. He takes it, and disappears through a wall.

All around the school, the students from the haunting things that Discord made. And soon the rest of the Young 13 joined Sandbar and Yona, and Gallus and Smolder begin to pull to them out.

Ocellus tries to run, but was soon cornered by the armor suit and Slattern Ghost and runs back to the others.

And they huddled together as the Kaiju's ghost nears them.

And then Starlight appeared. "Everycreature, stop!"

"B-B-B-But the school is haunted!" Silverstream stutters.

"It's not haunted. It's Discord." Starlight said.

"Discord, come out right now!" Echo demanded. "Or I'll make you come out, and you'll be sorry for all of this!"

And then, everything disappeared. And then Ghost Discord appeared with all 7 artifacts.

"Headmare Starlight!" Ghost Discord excitedly said without a care. "Look at me! Look! I won the Spell-venger Hunt! Well done, me! Now what's my prize?"

"Detention." Spike answered.

"A year's worth." Echo added. "For threatening to close the school and everything else you did."

"Well, that's disappointing." Ghost Discord said upset and tossed away the artifacts.

Spike quickly catches them.

"Can you be careful?!" Echo said. "That tooth is one of the only artifacts left we have!"

"Discord you can't keep messing up the school." Starlight glared.

"On the contrary. I think I rather can." Discord said. "And I will."

"Discord, you better be lucky you're a ghost right now." Echo warned. "Otherwise, I would've mauled you right now."

"Then I have just one thing to say to you." Starlight said.

"Oh, do go on." Discord sounding like he was ready for more of his scams.

"I'm sorry." Starlight said.

Discord was surprised by that. "What?"

Starlight then used her magic and brought his body back.

"I had to stop thinking like a headmare and start think like a guidance counselor to finally understand." Starlight explained. "You felt left out."

"Uh... I-I-I-I-I don't know what you're getting at." Discord stuttered.

"Nopony ever invited you to the school." Starlight explains. "And when you offered to help, I didn't listen. I was so worried about doing things Twilight's way, I didn't stop to think about being a good friend. I'd like to apologize for that. And offer you the job of vice headmare."

"Huh?" Spike and Echo confused.

"Really?" Silverstream confused.

"What?!" Gallus questioned.

"Why?!" Ocellus asked.

"No!" Yona said.

Him?!" Smolder glared at Discord.

"Totally confused." Sandbar said.

"After what he did?!" Rex angrily said.

"I accept! Discord beamed and shook Starlight's hoof. "I-I-I suppose I can find some time in my busy schedule to help out. But I will meed my own office, expense account, parking space..."

"You're new to the world of education, aren't you?" Spike asked.

"Next time you want something, just ask for it, all right?" Starlight said.

But then we'd miss out on all those delightful misadventures." Discord said holding Spike.

"Hey!" Spike pulling free. "Watch the wings!"

"Now, Vice Headmare Discord, if you'll help me get this Spell-venger Hunt back in order." Starlight said.

Discord snaps his fingers, and the artifacts disappeared.

"Everything is re-hidden." Discord said.

And then a picture frame with a flower flowed off making Silverstream jump.

Discord chuckled. "Well, with a few surprises."

And then Echo remembered something. "Wait, what did you mean by "misadventures"?"

And then the door opens as Twilight and the others appeared, and were completely messed up and were not happy.

"Discord! I can't believe you tricked us into going on a friendship quest that wasn't real!" Twilight said crossly.

"Oh, back so soon?" Discord frowned.

"Wait, it was all fake?!" Echo said.

"A glamour spell on our Cutie Marks?" Rarity glared at Discord.

"A fake summons form the map?" Rainbow glared as well.

"Hey, at least we got to go spelunking in that really creepy cave with all those eyeless worm creatures chasing us." Pinkie smiled. "As well as being chased by a feral T. Rex."

"Oh, Yona so glad ponies back!" Yona hugged Applejack.

"Uh, y'all get the feelin' we missed somethin'?" Applejack questioned.

"Oh, you have no idea." Rex glared at Discord.

"Thanks for taking care of the school, guys." Twilight said to Starlight and Echo.

"It was a challenge." Starlight admitted. "Heh. But I think things turned out just the way you'd have handled them."

"Though is might've been easier if someone didn't appeared." Echo gave a slight glare to Discord as they walked off.

Spike flew up to Discord. "Guess this means you're not vice headmare anymore." He smirked.

"Oh, poo!" Discord disappointedly. "I just ordered business cards!"

And then the cards flew out of his hand and landed near the Young 13.

"Well, all's well and ends well they say." Discord said.

But then, the Young 13 growled and then angrily glared at Discord from earlier. Discord smiled nervously, and then Smolder raised a stick up threateningly as they growled. And then Discord started running as the stick hits the floor. And the Young 13 started chasing him.

And they ran pass Twilight, Starlight and Echo.

"Come here!" Rex yelled. "Come back, here! Hey! Hey! You crazy little Giraffe Donkey rascal! Get, back here! Get back here, right now!"

They chased him outside the school.

I am very sorry for the long wait. It's just been busy with the other stories.

But good news is that the other chapters are being worked on. I should have another 2 or 3 ready by the weekend. Hopefully, they'll be finished before Christmas or New Year's.

And I'll also do Best Gift Ever.

And the Slattern is something for a story for next year.
