~Beauty & the Beast~
Vincent decided to play it safe for a few rounds to memorize Gabe's patterns. Gabe's beast was obviously stronger than it was the last time they had encountered, but he wasn't the only one who had gained some trump cards throughout the year. If Gabe would strike, Vincent would dodge; if he would throw a boulder, Vincent would jump into the air as high as he can to avoid being hit.
Whatever Gabe did, Vincent countered with a defensive move. He had many reasons for not wanting to strike; one, he needed to learn Gabe's potential. How much has Gabe's power and strength grown? How fast can he run? Were his animal senses just as heightened as Vincent's? Or, were they closer to his primitive state? Vincent needed Gabe to answer many of his questions, and the only way he could successfully do that without knowing was to try to land a move on Vincent Keller. So far, Gabe has succeeded twice, but only because Vincent allowed him to strike him. Vincent needed to know how strong the guy could pack a punch as well as throw a kick. Granted, they were powerful forces, but nothing Vincent couldn't handle.
Two, he wanted to tire Gabriel Lowan out. If Vincent could maintain a defensive strategy, Gabe would tire out eventually. Gabe continued to try to strike Vincent, each move a tad bit slower than the last. "FIGHT BACK, KELLER!" Gabe shouted as he aimed his fist towards Vincent's head.
Vincent blocked his attack by crossing his wrists in front of his face to protect himself from being thrown backwards. "I'M GIVING ALL I HAVE!" Vincent lied. If he could make Gabe think he had the advantage, Vincent would be able to use the element of surprise to outdo Gabe. If anything, he could outsmart him as well as out-strength him.
"YOU'RE LYING!" the ADA yelled, flashing his yellow eyes before swinging his knee towards Vincent's stomach. Vincent grabbed Gabe's leg and locked it in his arms. Gabe smirked, "You think you're so smart." Gabe swung his other leg upwards, aiming for Vincent's skull. Predicting his move, Vincent released Gabe's left leg only to grab his right ankle instead.
Finally having enough with fooling around, Vincent decided to get serious. He grabbed ahold of Gabe's ankle with both of his hands and started spinning in circles. He had only seen this move done in the movies, but how hard could it be. He spun around as fast as possible, and when he thought he had tortured the ADA enough, he released him, sending him flying towards a row of trees.
Instead of watching Gabe knock down the entire grove with his bare head, Vincent sprinted to the end of the line and waited for the ADA to fly towards him. He might not be Hercules or Achilles, but Vincent had more experience in combat than the ADA would ever have. While Gabe lived in a life of suits, Vincent trained in the military; he was taught how to fight like a soldier. Being a beast amplified his fighting abilities tenfold, and after his upgrade, Vincent Keller was no match for ADA Gabriel Lowan.
Besides, the former captain had also seen enough episodes of Dragon Ball Z; who knew watching two Super Saiyans fight in a cartoon would actually prove useful in real life? He surely didn't. Not until now, at least.
When Gabe had finally reached the end of the line of trees, Vincent took his stance, and rammed his fist into the ADA's chest, sending him flying. The weather was of no hardship to Vincent; when he was in the military, they had trained under every sort of weather. The rain, if anything, was more of an advantage to Vincent Keller. Gabriel Lowan probably never trained when there was as much as a rain cloud outside; he probably only trained by himself and in some kind of highly expensive (and also private) training facility.
In all reality, fighting Gabe was a joke.
When Gabe landed on the ground, Vincent leaped into the air and landed a few feet away from the ADA. "Give up, Gabe. You won't win." As he started walking towards the ADA, he could sense Catherine and Tess in the area. What the hell? Instead of reacting, he continued to play his poker face—wanting Gabe to believe nothing has changed within the battlefield. "The difference between our fighting styles is obvious, Gabe. So, I will let you leave with your life right now if you choose to walk away, and never bother Catherine or myself again."
"Do you really think I'm that naïve? How do you know I haven't been playing you all of this time? I could have been pretending to be weak so you could have the advantage for a while." Gabe smirked as he stood up to his feet.
"You weren't. Now that you have exposed yourself, I can sense when you're lying." Vincent replied. "I have the upper-hand, Gabe. You don't."
"We'll see about that," Gabe chuckled. Before Vincent could react, Gabe whirred around, pulled out his gun, and fired towards the trees, causing birds to fly away from the scene. Vincent's heart stopped as his breath hitched. Catherine and Tess were hiding behind those line of trees…. Suddenly, Gabe collapsed to the ground, bleed seeping all around him.
Vincent smirked and sighed. Catherine or Tess must have gotten to the ADA first before he cou—he could have sworn he saw Gabe's gun fire away. If Gabe is dead…then what happened to his bullet?
"Vincent!" he heard Tess call out from the woods, "Cat's been shot!"

Keiko Fujiwara: Sorry it's so short. I suck at fighting scenes so if I had stretched it any longer, I felt like I wouldn't have done the fight scene any justice.
What do you think?
