Freddie's POV:
I'd called over Cindy to ask if she could occupy Lindsey for the day so i can continue my planning. I really wanted this to go well, she meant everything to me and i just loved her so much. She had been my best friend from such a young age and we grown up together, the things we've been through... i don't think many best friends or couples have been through.
Lindsey's POV:
Freddie called me through telling me Cindy wanted to go out for the day which i gladly accepted, i haven't been out in a long time. We headed into Chester and headed straight for the shops. I was so excited to finally enjoy myself, i mean i was taking big progress that i actually left without Freddie but i felt so comfortable with her knowing what she's been through and overcome.
We had completed our morning of shopping and we decided to get some food before heading back to continue. We went to the food court and i looked at all the food stations, it made me nervous but i knew i could do this. I walked over to macdonalds and after waiting in the not so long que i happily and confidently ordered for me and Cindy and i was so proud of myself.
As i received our order i sat down in the food court with Cindy and we exchanged what we ordered for each other. She got drinks from starbucks and i got the food. As i set my food out, i stared at it for a minute, reassuring myself i could do this. I took a minuscule bite of my hamburger but then soon easily finished the hamburger and chips followed by the frappe from starbucks. I was overwhelmed with myself, i couldn't believe i ate. Cindy looked so proud and so was i, i couldn't wait to tell Freddie!
Freddie's POV:
I ordered the last of the decorations, i was going all out with this making sure it was absolutely perfect, it needed to be perfect. Next on the agenda was the ring shopping. This part i dreaded, it was going to be extremely difficult. I'd know the size by using a ring from her very large ring collection. The problem was going to be style, colour, jewels, metals, i was gonna freak. I took out my mobile and texted mum and Zig asking them to come meet me at the house as soon as possible.
I was overjoyed as they walked in the door and leapt up from my seat on the sofa where i was browsing rings on my laptop. "I've got a huge dilemma!"
Sandy's POV:
Oh for gods sake what has this child done now. I hope he hasn't done anything to hurt Lindsey she's already vulnerable enough. Then again, i could be jumping to conclusions. "Go on then spit it out." I said getting ahead of myself a little.
He chuckled and smiled at me. "Don't worry mum, i haven't done anything wrong i can see the look on your face. Hopefully your gonna love what I'm about to tell you!"
Well thank god he hasn't gotten himself into any trouble. I just hope his thing is good and isn't one of his stupid ideas what no one really understands... at all.
"I'm going to purpose to Lindsey." He revealed. I was overjoyed but i was glued to the spot, my mouth running dry.
"Congrats bruv, I'm really happy for you." Ziggy congratulated him stepping forward. My eyes following him as he hugged his brother.
"Well mum... what do you think?" Freddie asked nervously.
"Oh son... I'm so happy for you!" I exclaimed tears spilling from my eyes as i entered his embrace but i soon pulled away. "Wait... so what's the problem if your so happy about it?"
"I just can't find a ring and i have no clue what colour or jewel or metal or just anything about the ring. I mean i know the size but i'm just so confused!" He sighed.
"It'll be fine love, me and Zig will help you, won't we zig?" I said turning towards my other son gesturing for his help.
"Of course bruv! Anything to see you our Linds happy. Y'know i'd do anything!" Ziggy exclaimed.
"so would i, its so nice to see everyone happy!" I smiled bringing both of my boys into a hug.
Lindsey's POV:
Today was so tiring, i was absolutely exhausted! Right now Cindy and I are on our way back to her apartment to put our bags down but then we are going to get ready together and go out. She said its something really important and i really can't wait.
After we reached her apartment we began to get ready. Cindy was blasting the radio and i began to look through my bags getting everything what i needed for tonight out. I bought some of my new beauty products out before grabbing the bag where i got a dress from. I pulled out my new dress out of the bag. It was a pastel sort of pink colour with diamonds encrusted around my waist and along the top of the dress. It was a strapless gown which went to around my mid thigh on my right but trailed down to my ankle and round the back on the left. It was beautiful and i just loved it. I laid it gently on the bed before continuing to get everything else i needed.
Freddie's POV:
I got her ring and right now we were just rounding up the last of the decorations. Darren and Nancy had already began to hang up the decorations around the Dog and i was just bringing in the last minute ones. I just got a text from Cindy basically saying that they just got back and they were starting to get ready so they will be about 2 hours. That was perfect. I really hope she says yes.
