Princess Elaine Lefford, of the royal family of Astor, has had a rather shocking life for one of royal blood, after being left at the altar, in front of thousands of press, and spectators, when she was twenty years old. Now, being twenty-two, she spends her days with her elder sister, who is heir to the throne. Elaine never expected to have affections for a prince, however.

Hello, and thank you for your favorites and reviews, though it's been a long time since I last wrote!

However, this story has long since been on my mind, only, the question was: how can I make this better? I love Elaine as an OC, and she is among my favorites. But I know I can write with more detail and more focus, and I actually have started a rewrite already. I'm waiting until I polish up the second chapter before I post, though. The prologue and chapter one have been done justice. I'm simply letting you know that this rewrite is on its way.

I'd also like to share another story I'm writing: this time, for Ivan Chernenkov from Be My Princess 2.

Expect the Trampled Flowers rewrite sometime in March, and my next fic around the same time! Thank you for sticking with this story, and I won't be deleting it, since I'd like to see where I've improved. Again, I can't thank my readers enough. There may not be many of you, but I am truly pleased that people enjoy this story, and I hope you'll enjoy the new version.
